Abstract

This paper is motivated by the concept of Dakwah carried out by Rasulullah SAW as the basis for building independence, openness, freedom, mutual respect, and religious pluralism. This study aims to present the concept of da'wah based on civil society in Kroya District. The research focused on three villages: Bajing, Karangmangu, and Ayamalas Villages. This type of research is descriptive qualitative using a phenomenological approach, collecting data using participant interview techniques, observation, and documentation. The results of the study concluded that in Kroya Subdistrict, the concept of civil society (civil society) had been applied in preaching. This can be seen as adjustments and compromises between civil society and the government in social and economic matters. The phenomenon of civil society in Kroya is implemented in the form of (1) independence in managing its social groups; (2) there is freedom and focus on community participation as subjects in managing their social groups so that there is no monopoly and intervention from the government; (3) cooperation in creating a healthy and conducive environment; and (4) religious pluralism. The implications of this research are expected to be an alternative solution for preachers so they can practice the concept of civil society in society in dealing with social, economic, and religious plurality problems.

The purpose of this study was to obtain an overview and analyze the application of management and its functions in the guidance of religious moderation-based Hajj rituals at KBIHU Khazanah Mandiri Depok and Ibnu Aqil Bogor. This study uses descriptive-qualitative methods and approaches and data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The foundation of management theory is from Henry Fayol, the theory of religious moderation refers to the principle of wasathiyah from Yusuf Al Qardhawi, and the theory of independence from Steinberg. The study results show that the management functions from the planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and controlling stages in the guidance of Hajj rituals in both KBIHU have generally been implemented but have yet to be optimal. Several weaknesses include religious moderation material, independence, competency standards for prospective pilgrims, assessment in guidance, and visual aids. The results of this study recommend that the management of Hajj ritual guidance at KBIHU continues to be developed and optimized in the form of an integrated Hajj ritual guidance model based on religious moderation and quality-oriented.

Abstract

The Covid-19 (Corona viruses) pandemic has forced the system for spreading and understanding the Qur'an to be carried out online. Online media, such as e-learning, was known before the corona viruses season. One of the institutions implementing e-learning is the Darul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School, led by Yusuf Mansur. The famous preacher with the "alms flag as the gateway to riches" is phenomenal in Indonesia. This study uses the phenomenological method and the AIC (attract inform community) model, combining techniques based on social research and Information Technology (IT). This article proves that Mansur was able to build a system for disseminating the Qur’an (online and offline/face to face) combined with a business concept with floating funds and cooperatives and a tower with 285 rooms. Based on the AIC model, it can be stated that Mansur's PPPA web (Qur’an memorizing nursery program) was effective in supporting e-learning and socializing the Qur’an during the Covid-19 period. The Qur'anic e-learning approach has implications for Islamic institutions as capital for brand marketing of da'wah institutions and their development. This strategy is a solution to spreading the Qur'an in abnormal situations and experiences in the future.
