Abstract

The background that drives this research is the unavailability of media that supports children in improving expressive language skills of kindergarten children, children are less enthusiastic in participating in learning, it is necessary to increase children's expressive language skills so that learning becomes meaningful learning. The problems in this study are 1) how is the feasibility of storytelling stage media to improve children's expressive language skills?; 2) how is the practicality of storytelling stage media to improve children's expressive language skills?; 3) How is the effectiveness of storytelling stage media to improve children's expressive language skills? The objectives of this research and development are 1) to test the feasibility of storytelling stage media to improve children's expressive language skills; 2) testing the practicality of storytelling stage media to improve children's expressive language skills; 3) measuring the effectiveness of storytelling stage media to improve children's expressive language skills. This type of research is research and development by Borg & Gall. The population in this study were all children of group A TK Negeri Pembina Pekalongan City, which amounted to 13 children. The data in this study were obtained through documentation, interviews, questionnaires, and pretest and posttest of children's expressive language skills. The results of this study indicate that: (1) there are problems in the expressive language skills of kindergarten children, because learning is still one-way or learning is more teacher-centered; (2) development activities using procedures that produce storytelling stage media products that are valid, practical, effective, and suitable for use to improve children's expressive language skills; (3) the results of the validity test indicate that the developed media is valid to be used as an interactive and communicative learning medium; (4) the results of the effectiveness test show that children's expressive language skills using storytelling stage media are better than using conventional media such as books, posters, and pictures. This result is shown from the T-test calculation, where it is known that the value of Sig (2-tailed) is 0.000 <0.05. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that there are significant differences between the pretest and posttest data. The conclusion is that learning with storytelling stage media can improve the expressive language skills of Pekalongan City Pembina State Kindergarten children.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of exploratory methods in learning dance to increase the creativity of grade 2 students at SDN Made 1 Surabaya. The research method used is descriptive qualitative where this research requires data in the form of descriptive information by building a theory based on the data obtained. Sources of data used in this study are primary and secondary data sources. The techniques used in collecting data are observation, interviews, and documentation. The target audience for this study were grade 2 teachers, grade 2 students and the principal of SDN Made 1 Surabaya. The exploratory method applied by the teacher goes through the stages of planning, providing initial material, the exploration process, improvisation, and evaluation. The results obtained are that grade 2 students at SDN Made 1 Surabaya are able to develop imagination, increase creativity, and improve student learning outcomes through exploratory learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the contextual teaching and learning model assisted by force props on the understanding of the concept of force in fourth grade students of SD Pangudi Utami. This study uses a quantitative approach, experimental methods with Quasi Experimental Design, data collection techniques by conducting observations, concept understanding tests, and documentation, as well as for data analysis using SPSS for windows software. The results showed: 1) there was no significant difference in the average student concept understanding ability between the experimental class and the control class which could be seen from the sig value. (2-tailed) is 0.557 > 0.05, because the interest in learning for the two classes is the same, it can be seen from the results of the student activity observation sheet that is equal to 87.5%. 2) There is an effect of contextual teaching and learning model assisted by force props on students' conceptual understanding, seen from the significance value of 0.001 < 0.05, and the value of R2 = 0.601 = 60.1%. So it can be concluded that there is an influence between the contextual teaching and learning model assisted by force props on the understanding of the concept of force in fourth grade students of SD Pangudi Utami.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) Find out the biology  learning outcomes of class VIII MTsN Takalar students through flipped classroom learning patterns. (2) Knowing the independence of learning biology for students of class VIII MTsN Takalar through flipped classroom learning patterns. (3) Knowing the influence of the application of flipped classroom learning patterns  on the learning outcomes of students of class VIII MTsN Takalar.  (4) Knowing the influence of the application of flipped classroom learning patterns  on the learning independence of  class VII I MTsN Takalar students.  This research is Quasi experimental. The population in this study was all students of class VIII, for the 2022/2023 school year at MTsN Takalar, totaling  103 students  divided into  four study groups, then sampling  was carried out   randomly  and  two study groups were selected, namely class VIII C with 27 people and class VIII B with 26 people.  The results showed that: (1) The learning independence of students of class VIII MTsN Takalar through flipped classroom learning patterns  is in the high category and the learning independence of students taught through conventional learning isin the sufficient category. (2) The learning outcomes of students of class VIII MTsN Takalar through the flipped classroom learning pattern  are in the very high category and the learning outcomes of students who are taught using conventiononal berada learning in the high category. (3) There is  an influence on the application of flipped classroom learning patterns  on the  independence and  learning outcomes of class VIII MTsN Takalar students.

Pragmatism as a school of philosophy was first developed in America. The first philosopher to introduce and develop pragmatism was Charles S. Peirce who emphasized human activity and purpose in gaining understanding and knowledge. The American thinker who is very attached to the educational philosophy of pragmatism is John Dewey. Pragmatism as a philosophical school can be understood metaphysically, epistemologically and axiologically.

Abstract

The background of the problem is that there are demands in Era Society 5.0, which must be able to solve various problems and social dynamics by utilizing technology. In various sectors and fields, challenges like this often arise, including in the field of education. This is what has led to several changes to the curriculum in Indonesia. Many other countries also always innovate curricula that have previously been made. At first, every curriculum that was made was considered ideal, but there would still be deficiencies so that changes, replacements or improvements were needed. In addition, human resources that are able to compete and adapt well are the main demands for a comprehensive change in all aspects. Therefore, the Free Learning Curriculum is here as an answer. The concept of the Free Learning Curriculum is also part of Society 5.0, where there is a combination of technology that continues to develop with various societal problems. This is proven, with the existence of technology that has become part of the social needs of every individual's life.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using mind mapping learning models assisted by audio-visual media on interest in learning science in class V SDN Wirogomo 01. This research method was a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent design type. Samples were taken by purposive sampling technique. SDN Wirogomo 01 as the experimental class and SDN Wirogomo 02 as the control class. This study uses a questionnaire/questionnaire data collection technique, observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used was the Normality Test, Homogeneity Test, T-Test and Simple Linear Regression Test. The results of this study indicate: 1. There are differences in the use of mind mapping learning models assisted by audio-visual media on students' interest in learning, this is evidenced by the significance level 0.05, which is 0.000 less than 0.05 and 2. There is an effect of using the mind mapping learning model. assisted by audio-visual media on students' interest in learning, this is evidenced by a significant level of 0.05, which is 0.000 less than 0.05.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students, because in learning activities that are still conventional and the low absorption capacity of students makes learning monotonous from time to time. The inaccuracy of the learning model can hinder and affect the low student learning outcomes. This study uses a quantitative research type, using an experimental method with a pre-experimental design type one group pretest-posttest. While the data collection techniques with observation, questionnaires, tests and documentation. Based on the results of the regression hypothesis test, it was obtained that tcount 4.377 ttable 1.697 while the sig(2-tailed) value of 0.00 0.05. So the decision is that Ha is accepted, meaning that there is a significant effect between the cooperative meaningful instructional design learning model and the social studies learning outcomes of class VIII F students at SMP Negeri 1 Suranenggala, Cirebon Regency.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop and determine the feasibility of learning media, in the form of mobile learning with the name "Snail Detective" for class X students majoring in Computer and Network Engineering at Dian Indonesia Vocational High School Sidoarjo. The development model used in this study is the ADDIE model which consists of the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The subjects in this study were students of class X majoring in Computer and Networking Engineering. The research instrument used is in the form of a questionnaire. The data obtained will then be analyzed using the likert scale. “Detective Snail” mobile learning was validated by media experts, material experts, and tested on groups with a limited scale. Based on the results of the development, it was found that the development of "Snail Detective" mobile learning in class X SMK Dian Indonesia Sidoarjo was declared very feasible as a learning support tool. The validation results from media experts get a score percentage of 94% with a very decent category, the results of material expert validation get a score percentage of 87% with a very decent category and trials to students get an average score percentage of 91.2% with a very decent category . So it is concluded that the “Snail Detective” mobile learning is very feasible to use and can be implemented for the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Flipchart-assisted Learning Cycle 7E learning model on students' social attitudes. The design of this research is Quasi Experimental Design, Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, observations, and interviews. Data were analyzed by descriptive analysis, Independent Sample T-Test, Simple Linear Regression Test, and Paired Sample T-Test. The results showed: (1) There were differences in the use of the Flipchart-assisted Learning Cycle 7E model on students' social attitudes. This is evidenced by the results of the Independent Sample T-Test with a significance value of less than 0.05 (0.005 0.05). (2) There is an effect of using the Flipchart-assisted Learning Cycle 7E model on students' social attitudes. This is evidenced by the results of the Simple Linear Regression Test with a significance value of less than 0.05 (0.005 0.05). (3) There is an increase in the use of the Flipchart-assisted Learning Cycle 7E model on students' social attitudes. This is evidenced by the results of the Paired Sample T-Test with a significance value of less than 0.05 (0.000 0.05). So it can be concluded that the Learning Cycle 7E model assisted by Flipchart is effective in improving students' social attitudes.
