Abstract

This research and development was motivated by the low reading skills of the first graders of SDN Sumurbanger 02 based on observations and interviews with classroom teachers. This study aims to produce bandicam screen recording media to improve early reading skills. The type of research used is ADDIE development research (analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). developed by Dick and Carry. The purpose of this development research is to produce video-based learning media products from the bandicam application that are valid, practical, and effective to improve early reading skills in class I SDN Sumurbanger 02. The instruments used in data collection are media expert validation sheets, material expert validation sheets, teacher and student legibility sheets, pre-test and post-test questions. The results of the media expert validity test got an average score of 82 with an interval of X > 79.86 with a very good category. The results of the material expert validity test got an average score of 38.5 with an interval of X > 37.8 with a very good category. The results of the practicality test based on student responses got an average score of 23 with an interval of X > 21 with a very good category. The results of the practicality test based on the teacher's response got an average score of 47.7 with an interval of X > 42.06. The effectiveness of the bandicam screen recording media was tested valid based on the t-test got a sig (2-tailed) of 0.000 so that Ho was rejected, while the average N-Gain was 0.30 in the moderate increase category. It can be concluded that the bandicam screen recording media is proven to be valid and feasible to use in learning.

Abstract

Learning models and strategies are important in education in Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of applying the JIGSAW learning model assisted by flashcards with a realistic approach to improve problem solving skills at SDN 1 Wanglu. The research method used is a research approach using a quantitative approach. The type of research used is purposive sampling using non-probability sampling techniques. The results showed that the experimental class by applying the JIGSAW learning model assisted by flashcards with a realistic approach was better than the control class, it was proven that most of the students were no longer familiar with problem-solving questions in science learning, students' problem-solving abilities were maximized, this was expressed by learning Science which was originally rote and now has been overcome by applying the JIGSAW learning model assisted by flashcards with a realistic approach, so that students really pay attention to the learning process. the JIGSAW learning model has proven that aspects of problem-solving ability in science learning are included in the learning implementation plan (RPP), the textbooks used already show a balanced proportion of problem-solving stages categories. So it can be concluded that there is an effectiveness of the flashcard assisted JIGSAW learning model with a realistic approach to improve students' problem solving abilities.

Abstract

The ability of civics and social studies teachers at Assisted F Middle School Semarang City in compiling differentiated teaching modules has not been optimal. Before the guidance and assistance, the average ability was 53%. The research procedure used in this study is School Action Research. The procedure or steps are carried out through 2 cycles of action. The results in cycle I averaged the ability to compile differentiated teaching modules, increased by 12% from 53% increased to 65%. There were 63.3% of civics teachers and social studies teachers at Assisted F Junior High Schools who experienced an increase in the ability of the good category in compiling teaching modules dedifferentiation. The average level of enjoyment (student wellbeing) of civics teachers and Social Studies teachers F reached 67%. The average ability to compile teaching modules in cycle II increased by 12% from 65% to 78%, including the good category. There are 83.3% of civics and social studies teachers who have good abilities in compiling differentiated teaching modules, including the good category. Guidance and assistance through workshops, mentoring guidance to small groups and individuals running smoothly can improve the ability and motivation of civic and social studies teachers at Assisted F Middle School Semarang City. in compiling differentiated teaching modules.

Abstract

Learning media is one of the important components used in learning activities. Good learning media can help students achieve competence. Based on observations, it is known that the multiliteracy abilities of group B students of TK Masyitoh Karangasem Batang such as: the ability to read, write and count are not maximized, teachers in providing learning still use conventional methods, as a result many students experience boredom and boredom. boredom is a natural thing especially learning that tends to be monotonous. The feeling of boredom and saturation that comes is not good and will greatly affect the learning process of students. If you are bored then someone will be lazy to do it. If the feeling of laziness in learning is left longer, the result is that the achievement and academic value of students will certainly decrease.This study aims to describe the validity of the make and match board which was developed as a medium for mastering multiliteracy for kindergarten students. describe the practicality of the make and match board which was developed as a medium for mastering multiliteracy for kindergarten students.This study uses a 4D development research approach adapted from the Thiagarajan and Semmel development model with 3 steps: 1) Define (defining); (2) Design (design); (3) Develop (development). Data collection techniques were carried out by tests, observations, questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique uses product data analysis, initial data analysis, t test and gain test.The results showed that the make and match board was feasible to use with the results of the validity test using aiken V in the medium and high categories and the reliability test in the strong category. make and match boards are feasible to be effectively used in learning, it is known that based on learning outcomes there is an average difference through the t test of -10.578 and an average increase (gain) of 0.535 which based on the interpretation of the gain index is classified as moderate.The conclusion of this research is that the make and match board is feasible and effective to use in learning, especially in mastering multi-literacy materials to explore new knowledge from the make and match board media. Teachers are expected to be able to develop make and match boards that are similar to different materials, and the school is expected to facilitate.

Abstract

This development research aims to determine the validity and reliability of the critical thinking instrument for fifth grade elementary school students on the use of traditional game-based SIGUPIS media (Elementary Social Learning Song Creation). The assessment instrument developed was in the form of a questionnaire. The research subjects consisted of 3 validators and 20 fifth grade elementary school students. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire or questionnaire technique. The data collected is in the form of data on the validity and reliability of critical thinking instruments. Data on the development of critical thinking instruments obtained through the validity test were analyzed with Aiken's v, while the data from the reliability test were analyzed with Kappa Statistics using SPSS version 16. The results showed that the validity test by the validator obtained the results of the ten statements used belonging to the high category so that the instrument is suitable for use. The reliability test shows that the alpha value is 0.967 so that the reliability of the instrument is included in the very high category. Based on the results of this study, the questionnaire instrument to find out the critical thinking of fifth grade elementary school students in utilizing SIGUPIS media based on traditional games is feasible to use.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the process of processing kerinci lemang kancung which can be integrated into science learning based on local wisdom. So that later the results of this study can be used as reference material in learning science based on local wisdom. This study uses a qualitative method of ethnographic research. This research was conducted in Lempur Village, Kerinci Regency. The instruments used in this study were observation sheets, interview guides. Observation sheet indicators include the type of pitcher plant used, materials and tools, and the process of cooking lemang and the philosophy of lemang kancung beruk kerinci. During the steaming process, the temperature will be measured using a laser thermometer. The interview guide contains questions that will be asked of scientific experts, customary leaders and kerinci lemang kancung makers. The data analysis technique was carried out in a qualitative descriptive manner with the Miles and Huberman model consisting of several stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion/verification.

Abstract

The low level of science process skills, lack of variety of learning models, and limited laboratory facilities are the problems that underlie this research. This research uses quantitative research with the pre-experimental method with one group pretest-posttest research design. The sampling technique used was a non-probability sampling technique with a purposive sampling type with the sample used in this study was 32 students of class VIII C UPT SMP Negeri 22 Gresik in the 2021-2022 academic year. Data collection techniques through science process skills tests, student response questionnaires, and observation of learning implementation. The result showed that: 1) the paired sample t-test analysis obtained a significance of 0.000 0.05 and t count -t table with (-64,266 -2,0395), indicating that there were differences in students' science process skills before and after the application of the guided discovery learning model with a virtual laboratory on students' science process skills. 2) The test of students' science process skills after the application of the guided discovery learning model with a virtual laboratory was 71% in the high category. Based on these results, it can be conclution that there are differences in students' science process skills before and after the application of guided discovery learning with virtual laboratories.

Abstract

This purpose of this research was to know the effectiveness of the SSCS learning model (search, solve, create, and share) on problem solving abilities of the fiveth grade students in SD Negeri Ungaran 02. The type of this research was an experiment with a nonequivalent control group design. The population in this research was all students in Public Elementary School Ungaran 02 and the research sample was the 5th -grade students in Public Elementary School Ungaran 02. The data was analyzed by normality test, homogenity test, simple liniear regression test, independent sample t test, and paired sample t test. The result resulted : There is an increase in the application of the SSCS learning model to students' problem solving abilities in class V SD Negeri Ungaran 02 as evidenced by a significance value 0.05, namely 0.000 0.05 using the paired sample t test.

Abstract

Teachers are required to be able to apply creative and innovative learning methods by utilizing media so that they can help develop students' language skills and storytelling skills. This study aims to determine the effect, learning completeness, and average difference of the symbolic modeling method assisted by professional wayang cartoon media on language skills and storytelling skills. The methods used include observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the symbolic modeling method assisted by professional wayang cartoon media had an effect on language skills and storytelling skills, in terms of the multivariate test table and the table test of between subject effects on the manova test with each Sig. 0.000 0.05. The learning completeness test obtained a sig value. 0.002 on language skills and Sig. 0.032 on storytelling skills, because the value of Sig. 0.05, it was concluded that the percentage of students who got posttest scores ≥ 75 was more than 75%. The average difference test obtained sig. 0.039 on language skills and sig. 0.001 on storytelling skills, because the value of Sig. 0.05 concluded that there is a difference in the mean of the two groups. The average N-Gain Score test is 0.71 for language skills, which is included in the high category, which means that interpretation is quite effective, and 0.67 for storytelling skills included in the moderate category, the interpretation is quite effective.

Abstract

The dynamics of the development of national education in the Republic of Indonesia always experiences policy changes. Indonesia has at least experienced more than ten changes in curriculum development since the beginning of independence The National Assessment as a substitute for the National Exam has the aim of producing information about students, then the student information is used by educators to improve the quality of teaching and learning activities. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach, collecting data using interviews, observation and documentation. The primary data source was interviews with teacher informants and the secondary sources were observation and documentation. Based on the results of the study, namely: 6 (six) of the teachers at SDN Gemah, 4 (four teachers) were ready to face AKM. This can be seen from: Knowledge about AKM, Ability to identify AKM questions, teacher's understanding of the IKM concept; Activeness in education and training, making strategies and learning methods for the independent curriculum and supporting learning media, implementing AKM materials for students. Meanwhile, 2 (two) teachers were not ready to face AKM. This can be seen from: Lack of knowledge about AKM, Lack of ability to identify AKM questions, Lack of teacher understanding of the AKM concept; There is no initiative to take part in AKM training and training, less able to make independent curriculum learning strategies and methods, lack of mastery of using IT, unable to make learning media for independent curriculum and unable to implement AKM material to students.
