Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang bertujuan untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Siswa pada Kompetensi Melayani Makan dan Minum di Restoran, Mata Pelajaran Tata Hidang dengan menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Think Pair Share (TPS) di Kelas XI Tata Boga 2 SMK Negeri 8 Medan Tahun Ajaran 2014 – 2015. Tata Hidang merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran pada paket keahlian Tata Boga. Melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share, diharapkan dapak meningkatkan kemampuan siswa pada kompetensi dasar Melayani Makan dan Minum di Restoran di kelas XI Tata Boga 2 . Metode penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus, dimana dalam setiap 1 siklus dilaksanakan dalam 2 pertemuan dan  pada setiap siklus diselesaikan melalui tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan tindakan, tahap pengamatan, dan tahap refleksi. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI Tata Boga 2 SMK Negeri 8 Medan terdiri dari 32 orang. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian  ini adalah observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share dapat meningkatkan kemampuan dasar melayani makan dan minum di restoran, mata pelajaran Tata Hidang pada siswa kelas Kelas XI Tata Boga 2, SMK Negeri 8 Medan. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari pencapaian persentase ketuntasan belajar yakni pada siklus I pertemuan I mencapai 23,3% siswa yang tuntas,dan76,7% tidak tuntas. Siklus I pertemuan II terdapat 62,86%  siswa yang tuntas dan37,14%  siswa yang tidak tuntas. Pada siklus II pertemuan I terdapat 77,14% siswa yang tuntas dan22,86% siswa yang tidak tuntas sedangkan pada siklus II pertemuan II meningkat menjadi 100% atau 32 orang siswa yang tuntas.

Abstract

Subyek penelitian ini adalah media pembelajaran flashcard pada tema 7 “Benda, Hewan, dan Tumbuhan. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah: metode penilaian ahli, metode observasi, metode tes, metode forum diskusi kelompok, metode angket, metode wawancara, teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini: teknik analisis validitas, teknik analisis praktis, teknik analisis efektivitas. Hasil penelitian: (1) Guru dan siswa membutuhkan media pembelajaran flashcard yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas I sekolah dasar. Media yang dikembangkan lebih inovatif dapat mendorong semangat belajar. (2) Berdasarkan hasil validasi media oleh ahli media 1 dan 2 tentang produk yang dikembangkan yaitu media pembelajaran flashcard. (3) Media pembelajaran flashcard praktis digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas I sekolah dasar. (4) Media pembelajaran flashcard efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas I Sekolah Dasar berdasarkan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) 0,000 < 0,05, atau T hitung 12,499 > T tabel 2,09302 maka rata-rata perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan media berbasis flashcard adalah 90%. Sehingga dapat dikatakan tingkat ketuntasan yang diperoleh 90% efektif termasuk kriteria sangat baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masalah-masalah yang dihadapi oleh guru SDdalam mengimplementasikan Kurikulum 2013 Mulok Bahasa Jawa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalahmengidentifikasi permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh guru sekolah dasar dalam pengimplementasian Kurikulum  2013 Muatan Lokal Bahasa Jawa Sekolah Dasar di Kota Semarang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif-naturalistik dengan tahapan-tahapan: penetapan tujuan, perancangan, pelaksanaan, analisis data, dan pelaporan hasil penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengimplementasian Kurikulum 2013 Mulok Bahasa Jawa SD di Kota Semarang terdapat tiga permasalahan, yaitu: (a) Sebagian besar sekolah kembali menggunakan KTSP; (b) sebagian besar guru kurang memiliki kompetensi yang memadai untuk mengajarkan bahasa Jawa terutama karya sastra; dan (c) belum adanya pelatihan pembelajaran bahasa dan sastra Jawa bagi semua guru. Berkait dengan hasil penelitian, perlu adanya tindak lanjut berupa pelatihan materi bahasa dan sastra Jawa bagi guru sekolah dasar di Kota Semarang, melalui daerah binaan (DABIN).

Abstract

This research aims to describe the application of the CIRC model in learning biographical texts for class X students at SMAN 5 Semarang for the 2023/2024 academic year. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. This research was carried out in class X-8 with 36 students. This data collection takes the form of test and non-test techniques. The application of this model is divided into initial, content and closing activities. The opening activities started with greetings, prayers, presence and apperception. Content activities, educators form students into groups. Closing activities are carried out by providing conclusions, reflections, follow-up plans, prayers and greetings. Research shows that the CIRC model is appropriate to apply in learning biographical texts. This is supported by the average student score of 89.5. Apart from that, the results of observations and questionnaires show that students can discuss so that learning becomes conducive. This model also makes it easier for students to explain characters in detail. Suggestions for educators, they should use learning models according to the learning material so that learning results are maximized. Keywords: application, writing, biographical text, CIRC Model AbstrakRiset ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan penerapan model CIRC dalam pembelajaran teks biografi pada peserta didik kelas X SMAN 5 Semarang tahun pelajaran 2023/2024. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas X-8 dengan 36 peserta didik. Pengumpulan data ini berupa teknik tes dan nontes. Penerapan model ini terbagi atas kegiatan awal, inti, dan penutup. Kegiatan awal dimulai dari salam, doa, presensi, dan apersepsi. Kegiatan inti, pendidik membentuk peserta didik menjadi kelompok untuk menulis teks biografi sesuai tokoh idolanya. Kegiatan penutup dilaksanakan dengan menunjukkan hasil tes peserta didik yang diperoleh yakni 89,5 dan memberikan simpulan, refleksi, rencana tindak lanjut, dan salam. Dari penelitian menyatakan model CIRC tepat diterapkan di pembelajaran teks biografi. Selain itu, hasil observasi dan angket menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik dapat berdiskusi sehingga pembelajaran menjadi kondusif. Model ini juga mempermudah peserta didik memaparkan tokoh dengan rinci.  Kata Kunci: penerapan, menulis, teks biografi, Model CIRC

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of creative video media learning strategy for writing biographical texts class X SMA. The research used a qualitative descriptive. The data are the results writing biographical texts by students class X SMA. The data was collected using observation, test, and documentation. The test is used analyze student’s skill in writing biographical text through creative video media. The text were analyzed using carried out by reducing data, presenting data, and making conclusions. The results data analysis is presented form of complete explanation in the form of written word. The results of the data is (1) the use of creative video media in learning to write biographical texts; (2) skills students writing biographical texts with the structure and linguistic elements biographical texts; (3) learning strategies writing biographical texts using creative video media, and (4) implementing the use of creatie video media in writing biographical texts.

Abstract

This study focuses on improving the reading and writing abilities of students with dyslexia and dysgraphia through specific strategies. The research question centers on how these strategies can aid students struggling with reading and writing. The methods employed are qualitative and a literature review from relevant journal sources. The research was conducted at SDN Karakan 01, Weru District, Sukoharjo Regency, with a fifth-grade student named Fatin Aisyah Rani as the subject. The results indicate that through strategies, collaboration with parents, individual assistance, homework assignments, motivation, engaging learning media, and appropriate teaching methods, Fatin was able to write 3 to 4 words, read two to four syllables, and began to feel more confident, as evidenced by increased interaction with peers. The conclusion is that appropriate strategies can effectively enhance the reading and writing skills of students with dyslexia and dysgraphia.

Abstract

This research and development was motivated by the low reading skills of the first graders of SDN Sumurbanger 02 based on observations and interviews with classroom teachers. This study aims to produce bandicam screen recording media to improve early reading skills. The type of research used is ADDIE development research (analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). developed by Dick and Carry. The purpose of this development research is to produce video-based learning media products from the bandicam application that are valid, practical, and effective to improve early reading skills in class I SDN Sumurbanger 02. The instruments used in data collection are media expert validation sheets, material expert validation sheets, teacher and student legibility sheets, pre-test and post-test questions. The results of the media expert validity test got an average score of 82 with an interval of X > 79.86 with a very good category. The results of the material expert validity test got an average score of 38.5 with an interval of X > 37.8 with a very good category. The results of the practicality test based on student responses got an average score of 23 with an interval of X > 21 with a very good category. The results of the practicality test based on the teacher's response got an average score of 47.7 with an interval of X > 42.06. The effectiveness of the bandicam screen recording media was tested valid based on the t-test got a sig (2-tailed) of 0.000 so that Ho was rejected, while the average N-Gain was 0.30 in the moderate increase category. It can be concluded that the bandicam screen recording media is proven to be valid and feasible to use in learning.

Abstract

Learning media is one of the important components used in learning activities. Good learning media can help students achieve competence. Based on observations, it is known that the multiliteracy abilities of group B students of TK Masyitoh Karangasem Batang such as: the ability to read, write and count are not maximized, teachers in providing learning still use conventional methods, as a result many students experience boredom and boredom. boredom is a natural thing especially learning that tends to be monotonous. The feeling of boredom and saturation that comes is not good and will greatly affect the learning process of students. If you are bored then someone will be lazy to do it. If the feeling of laziness in learning is left longer, the result is that the achievement and academic value of students will certainly decrease.This study aims to describe the validity of the make and match board which was developed as a medium for mastering multiliteracy for kindergarten students. describe the practicality of the make and match board which was developed as a medium for mastering multiliteracy for kindergarten students.This study uses a 4D development research approach adapted from the Thiagarajan and Semmel development model with 3 steps: 1) Define (defining); (2) Design (design); (3) Develop (development). Data collection techniques were carried out by tests, observations, questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique uses product data analysis, initial data analysis, t test and gain test.The results showed that the make and match board was feasible to use with the results of the validity test using aiken V in the medium and high categories and the reliability test in the strong category. make and match boards are feasible to be effectively used in learning, it is known that based on learning outcomes there is an average difference through the t test of -10.578 and an average increase (gain) of 0.535 which based on the interpretation of the gain index is classified as moderate.The conclusion of this research is that the make and match board is feasible and effective to use in learning, especially in mastering multi-literacy materials to explore new knowledge from the make and match board media. Teachers are expected to be able to develop make and match boards that are similar to different materials, and the school is expected to facilitate.

Abstract

Thematic learning as a teaching and learning approach that involves several subjects in one theme to provide meaningful experiences for students.That thematic learning requires teachers who are creative both in choosing competencies from various lessons and arranging them so that learning becomes more meaningful, interesting, fun and Reading is a process carried out and used by readers to get messages, what the writer wants to convey through the medium of words or written language. This type of research is research and development (Research and Development or R&D). it is necessary to design the development model used in this research is the Research & Development model. This research was conducted in class I SD. The themes presented in the Puzzle learning media were all themes and it was necessary to include KI and KD in the Puzzle learning media that would be developed. The results of the study show that questions can be a tool to clarify students' understanding of the ideas contained in the reading, by providing questions students can remember and be aware of important facts or ideas contained in the reading. Development of puzzle media so as to improve reading skills in thematic learning of first grade elementary school students. Results of testing puzzle media products to improve reading skills in thematic learning of first grade elementary school students. These results explain that the reading ability of grade 1 elementary school students can be improved by using the development of puzzle media.

Abstract

Character education at SDN Simbangdesa 01 Batang Regency has not been going well, this is evidenced by the many cases of child delinquency that occur in the area, for example, children are less disciplined in flag ceremony activities, are less sporty in sports and arts activities, are less honest in their activities. academically, the child's sense of selfishness is still high, the lack of a culture of helping others. The non-optimal cultivation of character education within the scope of the academic community in Indonesia can result in a weak leader character which is associated with the increasing prevalence of corruption, chaos in the urban planning system, poor health services, loss of sense of justice, education that increasingly loses a compassionate conscience and is oriented towards noble character and other things. others that are not good for the mental development of students. The research is focused on integrated character development with Scouting extracurricular programs, pioneering activities for students at SDN Simbangdesa 01 especially grade 5 and grade 6 with project-based learning. The program at the school is designed to develop 18 character values that are focused on the character of responsibility, discipline, independence, and creativity in extracurricular activities of Pioneering Scouts. Extracurricular Scouting Pioneering can shape the character of students with the Pancasila profile. Project-based learning here is a forum that is deliberately prepared for students to carry out program projects that are assigned to them. Project-based learning expects students to be able to make decisions and create a framework in which problems whose solutions are not predetermined, design processes to achieve results, are responsible for obtaining and managing the information collected, carry out continuous evaluations, regularly review what they are doing. , the final result is a product and is evaluated for quality, and the class has an atmosphere that tolerates faults and changes.
