Abstract

Abstract: This study aims at finding out (1) creativity and innovation of school principal in increasing income generating production units. (2) school principal motivation in increasing the production unit, and (3) and strategies of school principal in developing income generating of production unit. This research is a quantitative study with descriptive explanatory approach. The data collection methods are quentionnaire, interview, and observation. Data analisys technique  is decscriptive analisys using percentage for each quasionnaire items. This study show that: (1) creativity and innovation of the school principal in increasing the income generating unit production is good category, (2) motivation of the school principal in increasing the income of income generating production unit in school is high  category, and (3) strategy in increasing the income  generating production unit is good category. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) kreativitas dan inovasi  kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan pendapatan unit produksi. (2) motivasi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan pendapatan unit produksi, dan (3) strategi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan pendapatan unit produksi di SMKN 4 Kota Gorontalo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan  kuantitatif dengan jenis deskriptif eksplanatory. Tehnik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket tertutup, wawancara dan observasi. Tehnik analisis data yang digunakan adalah tehnik analisis deskriptif, setiap pertanyaan yang digunakan adalah perhitungan dengan formula presentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) kreativitas dan inovasi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan pendapatan unit produksi berada pada kategori baik, (2)  motivasi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan pendapatan unit produksi berada pada kategori tinggi, dan (3) strategi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan pendapatan  unit produksi berada pada kategori baik.

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research is evaluating for delegation of implementation policy from Education Office of North Molucas Province to the Educational Institutional branch in managing secondary education in Morotai Island District. The delegation policy based on the governor of North Maluku Regulation number 45 in 2018,  about the duties, function, task description of the department branch office of the Provincial Education, and culture Office of North Maluku. This research using a goal free evaluation model, which measures the implementation, influence of implementation and factors that affect the implementation and Factors that affect the implementation tasks and functions of the office in managing secondary education in Morotai Island District. Data to collected through observations, interviews and document studies. Data analysis are done with a quality data analysis. The results of the research areas follows: (1) Implementation of tasks and functions of the branch of Education office does not carried out effectively that cause problems with the administration of personneal services; (2) Influence of task implementation and function of Education Office branch raises positive and negative impacts. (3) Factors that affect the implementation tasks and functions of the branch of the office in managing secondary education is communication and facilities as well as infrastructure. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi implementasi kebijakan pendelegasian wewenang Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Maluku Utara ke Cabang Dinas Pendidikan dalam mengelola pendidikan menengah di Kabupaten Pulau Morotai. Kebijakan Pendelegasian ini berdasarkan Peraturan Gubernur Maluku Utara nomor 45 Tahun 2018, Tentang Tugas, Fungsi dan Uraian Tugas Jabatan Cabang Dinas pada Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Provinsi Maluku Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan model evaluasi goal free yaitu mengukur implementasi, pengaruh implementasi dan faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi pelaksanaan tugas dan fungsi Cabang Dinas Pendidikan dalam mengelola pendidikan menengah di Kabupaten Pulau Morotai. Data dikumpulkan melalui melalui observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumen. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis data kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian yaitu: (1) implementasi tugas dan fungsi Cabang Dinas Pendidikan, belum terlaksana dengan efektif sehingga menimbulkan permasalahan pada pelayanan administrasi kepegawaian; (2) pengaruh implementasi tugas dan fungsi Cabang Dinas Pendidikan menimbulkan pengaruh positif dan negatif. (3) faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi implementasi tugas dan fungsi Cabang Dinas Pendidikan dalam mengelola pendidikan menengah yaitu komunikasi, sarana dan prasarana.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the readiness of facilities and infrastructure in improving the quality of education to face the industrial revolution 4.0. The research used a qualitative descriptive approach at SMP Pangudi Luhur Salatiga. In this study, the analysis unit was used, namely facilities and infrastructure, while the observation unit was the principal, deputy head of the facilities and infrastructure sector, and educators. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation using triangulation techniques. Meanwhile, data analysis was carried out interactively with data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Conclusions from the study: (1) the planning of facilities and infrastructure has been carried out well; (2) the procurement of facilities and infrastructure has not been carried out properly, the priority scale is determined by the foundation not the school; (3) the maintenance of facilities and infrastructure has not been carried out optimally; (4) the elimination of facilities and infrastructure has never been carried out by schools, items that are no longer used are put into school warehouses; and (5) there are developments in facilities and infrastructure in the field of technology, while the human resources that are owned are still not professionally trained. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesiapan sarana dan prasarana dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan untuk menghadapi revolusi industri 4.0. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif di SMP Pangudi Luhur Salatiga. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan unit analisis yaitu sarana prasarana, sedangkan yang menjadi unit pengamatan yaitu kepala sekolah, wakil kepala bidang sarana dan prasarana, dan pendidik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan pengamatan, wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi dengan menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Sedangkan analisis data dilakukan secara interaktif dengan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Simpulan dari penelitian: (1) perencanaan sarana dan prasarana sudah dilakukan dengan baik; (2) pengadaan sarana dan prasarana belum dilakukan dengan baik skala prioritas ditentukan oleh yayasan bukan pada sekolah; (3) pemeliharaan sarana dan prasarana belum dilakukan secara optimal; (4) penghapusan sarana dan prasarana belum pernah dilakukan oleh sekolah barang yang sudah tidak digunakan dimasukkan kedalam gudang sekolah; dan (5) adanya perkembangan sarana dan prasarana dalam bidang teknologi, sedangkan sumber daya manusia yang dimiliki masih belum yang terlatih secara profesional.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to find out the efforts of administrative staff in improving the quality of school services in SMP Negeri 8 Jambi City, and to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors in improving the quality of services at the school. Using descriptive qualitative methods. The subjects of the study were the school principal, the head of the administrative staff and the school administrative staff. Data obtained by interview, observation, documentation. All data were analyzed with a descriptive analysis approach. The results showed: (1) The efforts of administrative staff in improving the quality of school services in SMP Negeri 8 Jambi City were carried out in a systematic process, namely the management of school administrative staff involving teachers and staff to hold joint meetings in order to submit school service reports. This effort was made in accordance with aspects of school needs. (2) Supporting factors for improving the quality of this service is that each administrative staff has their own computer, then the available facilities, the principal always strives to meet the needs of the school. The obstacle faced by school administrative staff in improving the quality of school services is the lack of administrative personnel.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya tenaga administrasi dalam meningkatkan mutu pelayanan sekolah di SMP Negeri 8 Kota Jambi, dan untuk mengetahui faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam meningkatkan mutu pelayanan di sekolah tersebut. Menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, kepala tenaga administrasi dan staf tenaga administrasi sekolah. Data diperoleh dengan cara wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi. Semua data dianalisis dengan pendekatan analisis deskriptif.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Upaya tenaga administrasi dalam meningkatkan mutu pelayanan sekolah di SMP Negeri 8 Kota Jambi  dilakukan dengan proses yang sistematis, yaitu pengelola tenaga administrasi sekolah melibatkan para guru dan staf untuk mengadakan rapat bersama dalam rangka menyampaikan laporan pelayanan sekolah. Upaya ini dibuat sesuai dengan aspek-aspek kebutuhan sekolah. (2) Faktor pendukung peningkatan mutu pelayanan ini yaitu bahwa setiap tenaga administrasi sudah memiliki komputer sendiri, kemudian fasilitas yang tersedia, kepala sekolah selalu mengupayakan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan sekolah. Hambatan yang dihadapi tenaga administrasi sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pelayanan sekolah yaitu masih kurangnya jumlah personil tenaga administrasi.

Abstract

The success of education development will be largely determined by the availability of educational resources as the main variable in providing educational services. Other factors are geographical conditions, demographic conditions, economic conditions, and the capacity of the population itself. This study examines the correlational-contributive relationship between these factors with the Gross Participation Rate (GER) in junior high schools in West Java. The data studied were 2015-2019 (5 years). Quantitative research methods with descriptive analysis. The results showed that the educational resources variable can explain the effect of 88, 14% on the total GER. The geographical condition variable can explain the effect of 63.96% on the total GER. The demographic condition variable explains the effect of 94.2% on the total GER and the KE variable contributes approximately 89.21% to the achievement of the total GER for SMP. The population capacity variable gave a valuable contribution of 37.96%.

Abstract

Abstract : The purpose of this study was to evaluate the context, input, process, and product of the character education program at the Kanaan Christian School Semarang. The results showed: (1) Context, Kanaan Christian School Semarang really needs a character education program; (2) Input, character education at the Kanaan Christian School Semarang refers to the School's Vision and Mission and also the 2013 Curriculum (K-13); (3) The process, the implementation of the character education program at the Kanaan Christian School Semarang, the teacher carries out the learning according to the lesson plans that have been made, by adding character education values that are adjusted to the topics contained in basic competencies; (4) Products, the results of the character education program at the Kanaan Christian School Semarang, namely the presence of 5S culture (Greetings, Smiles, Greetings, Polite and Courtesy) and through the character assessment form. Overall, the character education program at the Kanaan Christian School Semarang has fulfilled the program objectives that have been previously set.Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengevaluasi konteks, masukan, proses, dan produk program pendidikan karakter di Sekolah Kristen Kanaan Semarang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Konteks, Sekolah Kristen Kanaan Semarang sangat membutuhkan program pendidikan karakter; (2) Input, pendidikan karakter di Sekolah Kristen Kanaan Semarang mengacu pada Visi dan Misi Sekolah serta Kurikulum 2013 (K-13); (3) Proses, pelaksanaan program pendidikan karakter di Sekolah Kristen Kanaan Semarang, guru melaksanakan pembelajaran sesuai RPP yang telah dibuat, dengan menambahkan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang disesuaikan dengan topik yang terdapat pada materi pokok. kompetensi; (4) Produk, hasil program pendidikan karakter di Sekolah Kristen Kanaan Semarang yaitu adanya budaya 5S (Salam, Senyum, Salam, Sopan dan Sopan) dan melalui formulir penilaian karakter. Secara keseluruhan, program pendidikan karakter di Sekolah Kristen Kanaan Semarang telah memenuhi tujuan program yang telah ditetapkan sebelumnya.

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research is to describe the implementation of academic supervision by the Principal of Early Childhood Education in Blora Regency. The subjects of the study were School Principals who had attended School Principal Strengthening Education and Training, totaling 81 headmasters. Data were collected using questionnaires and interviews analyzed with quantitative descriptive analysis techniques through the calculation of percentages and categorization. Qualitative data obtained by interview, processed using qualitative data analysis techniques with steps: condensation of data, display data, and drawing conclusions and verification. The results showed that the overall academic supervision by the Principal was good. In the aspect of supervision planning, the category is very good, the implementation of supervision is in the good category and the follow-up is in the good and not good category. The Principal has made the supervision plan even though it is not yet comprehensive. In the aspect of supervision implementation, the Principal has used individual supervision techniques and most often uses classroom observation. The principal has not yet used varied supervision techniques. Supervision is carried out through three stages, namely pre-observation, observation, and post-observation. Follow-up supervision is carried out by making a report on the results of supervision, but has not used it as a basis for preparing the next supervision program.  Abstrak: Penelitian bertujuan mendeskripsikan implementasi supervisi akademik Kepala Sekolah Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini di Kabupaten Blora. Subyek penelitiannya Kepala Sekolah yang sudah mengikuti Pendidikan dan Pelatihan Penguatan Kepala Sekolah, yaitu sebanyak 81 orang kepala sekolah. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan angket dan wawancara yang dianalisis dengan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif melalui penghitungan persentase dan pengategorian. Data kualitatif yang diperoleh dengan wawancara, diolah dengan menggunakan teknik analisis data kualitatif dengan langkah-langkah: kondensasi data, display data, serta pengambilan dan verifikasi kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa supervisi akademik oleh Kepala Sekolah secara keseluruhan baik. Pada aspek perencanaan supervisi berada pada kategori sangat baik, pelaksanaan supervisi pada kategori baik dan tindak lanjut berada pada kategori baik dan kurang baik. Kepala Sekolah sudah melakukan perencanaan supervisi meskipun belum komprehensif. Pada aspek pelaksanaan supervisi, Kepala Sekolah sudah menggunakan teknik supervisi individu dan yang paling sering menggunakan observasi kelas. Kepala Sekolah belum menggunakan teknik supervisi yang bervariasi. Supervisi dilaksanakan melalui tiga tahap, yaitu pra-observasi, pelaksanaan observasi, dan pasca-observasi. Tindak lanjut supervisi dilakukan dengan membuat laporan hasil supervisi, namun belum menggunakan sebagai dasar untuk menyusun program supervisi selanjutnya.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to measure the influence of tacit and explicit knowledge on teacher teacher innovation capability in Indonesia mediated by organizational culture. Data collection was carried out by simple random sampling via electronic to a population of teachers in Jabodetabek. The returned and valid questionnaire results were 231 samples. Data processing using SEM method with SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results of this study are tacit knowledge sharing has a positive and significant effect on teacher innovation capability, both directly and through mediating organizational culture. While explicit knowledge sharing only has a positive and significant effect on teacher innovation capability through organizational culture mediation. This novel research is proposing a model to build teacher innovation capability among teachers through tacit & explicit knowledge sharing with organizational culture as mediation. This research can pave the way to improve teacher readiness in facing the era of education 4.0.  Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur pengaruh tacit dan eksplisit knowledge terhadap kemampuan inovasi guru guru di Indonesia yang dimediasi oleh budaya organisasi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan secara simple random sampling melalui elektronik terhadap populasi guru di Jabodetabek. Hasil kuesioner yang kembali dan valid sebanyak 231 sampel. Pengolahan data menggunakan metode SEM dengan software SmartPLS 3.0. Hasil penelitian ini adalah tacit knowledge sharing berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kapabilitas inovasi guru, baik secara langsung maupun melalui mediasi budaya organisasi. Sedangkan berbagi pengetahuan eksplisit hanya berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kemampuan inovasi guru melalui mediasi budaya organisasi. Penelitian baru ini mengusulkan suatu model untuk membangun kapabilitas inovasi guru di antara para guru melalui tacit dan eksplisit knowledge sharing dengan budaya organisasi sebagai mediasi. Penelitian ini dapat membuka jalan untuk meningkatkan kesiapan guru dalam menghadapi era pendidikan 4.0.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the development of excellent private middle school (SMPS) organizational culture in Palangkaraya City, viewed from aspects: (1) positive values that underlie the development of school organizational culture, (2) the strategy of internalizing positive values in the development of school organizational culture, ( 3) supporting and obstacles factors in the development of school organizational culture, and (4) the role of stakeholders in supporting the development of school organizational culture. This study used qualitative approach with case study design. The subjects of this study were the founder of the Golden Christian School (GCS) SMPS, the school principal, teachers, and school stakeholders. Data collected through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation studies. Data analysis techniques using interactive model is through data reduction, data presentation, conclusions drawing, and data verification. Validation of data in this study uses credibility, transferability, dependability and confirmability. The results of this study showed that the school organizational culture in SMSPS GCS was developed by basing on the values of Christianity as the main foundation in shaping the character and culture of school organizations. Through internalization strategies that are realized in various school policies and programs, positive values that are believed by schools to be embedded within students which ultimately shape school organizational culture and are able to make SMPS GCS as the excellent private school in Palangka Raya City.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengembangan budaya organisasi Sekolah Menengah Pertama Swasta (SMPS) unggul di Kota Palangka Raya, dilihat dari aspek: (1) nilai-nilai positif yang mendasari pengembangan budaya organisasi sekolah, (2) strategi internalisasi nilai-nilai positif dalam pengembangan budaya organisasi sekolah, (3) faktor pendukung dan kendala dalam pengembangan budaya organisasi sekolah, dan (4) peran stakeholder dalam mendukung pengembangan budaya organisasi sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan rancangan studi kasus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah Pendiri yayasan SMPS Golden Christian School (GCS), Kepala sekolah, Guru, dan Stakeholder sekolah. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan interactive model reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan, dan verifikasi data. Pengabsahan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan credibility, transferability, dependability dan confirmability. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa budaya organisasi sekolah di SMPS GCS dikembangkan dengan mendasarkan pada nilai-nilai ajaran agama Kristen sebagai landasan utama dalam pembentukan karakter dan budaya organisasi sekolah. Melalui strategi-strategi internalisasi yang direalisasikan dalam berbagai kebijakan dan program sekolah, nilai-nilai positif yang diyakini sekolah tertanam dan melekat dalam diri peserta didik yang pada akhirnya membentuk budaya organisasi sekolah serta mampu menjadikan SMPS GCS sebagai sekolah swasta unggul di Kota Palangka Raya.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the ability of teachers to compile instruments for assessing aspects of knowledge through collaborative supervision in Kenteng 01 Elementary School, Bandungan District. This type of research is a school action research with a qualitative descriptive approach. The research subjects consisted of school principals and 6 teachers at Kenteng 01 Elementary School. Data collection techniques were done through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis techniques used are data collection, data analysis, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. This research was conducted in two cycles through planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results showed that after academic supervision in cycle 1, the average score was 78.9 C (enough). In cycle 2 the average score was 90.4 in the good category (B).
