Abstract

Abstract : Education and Training of Vocational High School English teachers using the vocational adaptive model aimed at increasing English competence of using vocational content. The objective of this study was to develop the vocational adaptive training materials consisting of the development of vocational English methods and media. The research method was development research and conducted at Centre of Development and  Quality Assurance for Vocational Education in Automotive and Electronic Sector (BBPPMPV BOE) Malang.The reseach results showed that the development of vocational English methods consisting of bilingual method, song method and tutor method received responses from the vocational English teachers with an average score of 4.8 in the category of very useful, very interesting, and very innovative. The development vocational English media consisting of quality standard video (QSV), vocational English dictionary (VED) and learning aid box (LAB) received responses from the vocational English teachers with an average score of 5.0 in the category of very useful, very interesting, and very innovative for teaching and learning English at Vocational High School.Key words: Vocational Adaptive, vocational English methods, vocational English media

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the condition of the 'Taman Baca' service of the Department of Education Management before and during the covid-19 pandemic; designing online 'Taman Baca' access service that is the application "MP DigiLib" according to the needs of students, lecturers, educational personnel and the community; and know the level of student satisfaction with academic services. The method used in the development of the 'Taman Baca' service is to use the Waterfall Model, which is to apply 2 stages of 5 stages, among others Analysis and Design to design digital library applications. The result obtained is the realization of the digitization of the library by using the SLiMS platform in the localhost version and there are two page views available, namely pages for visitors and pages for the manager of "MP DigiLib"; and the improvement of student satisfaction with academic services, especially in the tangibles aspect where there are library services that have been digitized.  Keywords: Increased, Services, Digitization, Library Systems

Abstract

Data mining is one of the rapidly growing data processing sciences. One application of data mining is to build a model of student graduation criteria. In this study, a prediction model for student graduation criteria was developed using a decision tree (DT). Several factors that influence the graduation criteria of students studied in this study include GPA, field of study, age, number of credits completed, and so on. The development of this model uses the open source Rapidminer software which is proven to have ease in processing but is very good at producing models. There are 3 prediction models produced, namely the DT model using the Gini Index method, Information gain and gain ratio. The resulting model has a fairly large root distribution in the predicate is very satisfactory. This means this predicate in the process does quite a lot of iterations. These three models can be used to predict student graduation because they have an accuracy and Kappa value greater than 80%. This shows that this model has a high level of confidence and can describe what is happening. The Gini Index model has the highest accuracy and kappa value compared to the information gain and gain ratio models with accuracy and kappa values of 0.963 and 0.932, respectively. This shows that the Gini Index model is superior for processing large data.

Abstract

Access to education in terms of quality has become a major source of concern for educators, parents, caregivers, special interest groups and related agencies. Given that the early years are a crucial period in the life of the child, it is expedient to come up with measures that will guarantee access to education for all.It is against this background that this paper examined the measures that can facilitate and enable learning employing innovative practices through technology. The research design used for the study is survey research design of the descriptive type. A simple random sampling technique was used to select teachers who are the participants of the study. A total of 100 teachers were sampled. One research instrument was used to collect data from the respondents. There was a significant difference between male and female teachers in their perception about accessibility to education through innovation and technology (t = 2.46; df =86; P< 0.05). However, there was no significant difference in the perception of Early Childhood Education teachers on the integration of technology based on their educational qualification (F(3,84) =1.380; P>0.05).It was concluded that teachers should be provided with an enabling technologically assisted environment to enhance their technological pedagogy.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of professional coaching, organizational climate, commitment, and teacher performance in junior high schools, the effect of implementing professional coaching, organizational climate, and commitment to teacher performance in junior high schools. This study uses a quantitative approach. The population is 2,028 people with a sample of 334 people. The instrument in this study was in the form of a closed questionnaire using a Likert scale. Collecting data through the distribution of questionnaires to the respondents of SMPN teachers in Tulungagung Regency. Descriptive data analysis and multiple regression. The conclusions of this study indicate that: (1) the implementation of professional development, organizational climate, teacher commitment, and teacher performance in junior high schools are in the very high category, and (2) there is a simultaneous or partial influence on the variables of the implementation of professional coaching, organizational climate. , and commitment to teacher performance in junior secondary schools. Keywords: professional coaching; organizational climate; teacher commitment; teacher performance

Abstract

The increasing public interest in Islamic Education Institutions has not been followed by efforts to improve the quality of Islamic Education Institutions (IEI). The quality of IEI will have an impact on its competitiveness. This research uses a qualitative method of literature type. The data collection technique starts from mapping, analyzing, and evaluating data from primary sources in the form of scholars' results of previous studies. The findings in this study are four main things that must be achieved or maintained by Islamic educational institutions to improve quality and have competitiveness: 1) Islamic educational institutions must have a high quality that follows the wishes of parents, government, and society in general. 2) Islamic educational institutions need to pay attention to and examine every customer response from Islamic educational institutions because the main goal is to provide satisfaction to customers of Islamic educational institutions (students, parents, government, and the world works). 3) Innovation is necessary because Islamic educational institutions can respond to changing times. Islamic education institutions must continue to innovate, including institutional innovation and management, curriculum innovation, learning innovation, innovation of learning facilities and infrastructure, and innovation by educators and education staff. 4) effectiveness and efficiency is the estuary of the management process.

Abstract

Abstract: This study describes: (1) the role of the principal in the implementation of character education in schools; (2) the involvement of "tri pusat pendidikan" in supporting the implementation of strengthening character education in schools; (3) the importance of strengthening character education in schools. This study aims to determine the role of the principal in maximizing the strengthening of character education in schools by involving the role of the "tri center of education" to obtain maximum results. Character education cannot be separated from the role of the family environment and the community environment so that the roles of the three environments are interrelated. Character education applied in schools is carried out using the concept of self-discipline which will shape the personality of students through habituation. Schools in implementing character education also involve the role of the community and parents to participate in character education in schools. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach and the type of case study research. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan manajemen pembelajaran online pendidikan jasmani dan olahraga di sebuah SMA di Sumenep selama penerapan kebijakan Belajar dari Rumah selama pandemi COVID 19. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi kualitatif, dengan menggunakan guru, siswa, dan orang tua sebagai subjek penelitian yang diambil secara purposive, dengan data diperoleh melalui dokumentasi, wawancara, dan observasi. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa guru sebagai pelaksana proses pembelajaran menyusun rencana pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran yang disesuaikan dengan skenario dan kondisi yang berubah di Sumenep. Namun, keterlibatan orang tua belum mencukupi sebelum, selama, dan setelah pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Pendekatan PEDATI digunakan untuk mengajar pendidikan jasmani dan olahraga di tingkat SMA di Kabupaten Sumenep (Belajar, Mendalam, Menerapkan, dan Mengevaluasi). Penilaian hasil belajar dilakukan dengan evaluasi tugas siswa, yang dapat berupa video atau tugas tertulis.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe (1) the policies in planning, implementing, and supervising the special job, (2) Strategies and cooperation implemented by the special job fair with work partners, and (3) the usefulness of special job fair in developing the carrier of SMK Negeri 4 Malang students. The research method used is a qualitative research method using a case study design. Data collection techniques used are interviews, documentation, and observation. The subjects of this research are the chairman of a special job fair, member of a special job fair, head of public relations, admin of public relations, three students, and three graduates. Data analysis is used with data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing or verification. The results of this study are, (1) The supervision of BKK activities was conducted directly and indirectly by Public relations. BKK evaluated and reported the result of graduate search result viii and the report of work program to internal and external schools; (2) Strategies and cooperation implemented by the special job fair with work partners in Covid-19 Pandemic were done by applying two approaches namely BKK targeting or aiming the industries or the industries requesting to cooperate with BKK, and (3) The usefulness of the special job fair in developing the carrier of SMKN 4 Malang students was done through educative webinar implementation during Covid-19 Pandemic is increasing their knowledge and preparation to continue the next carrier they desire, through working, building a business, or continuing their study. Keywords: The management of special job fair, Covid-19 pandemic, a workforce of the vocational school graduates, role in public relations and partnership, the world of business and industry

Abstract

Pesantren dibutuhkan memiliki LPM agar dapat mengontrol dan meningkatkan mutu pendidikan masyarakat yang ada di sekitar, khususnya desa binaannya. Untuk itu, dibutuhkan penerapan manajemen yang profesional dalam menanganinya. Melalui fungsi manajemen, baik perencanaan, pengorganisasian, penggerakan, pengawasannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi atau kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian LPM PPWH dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan masyarakat dengan menerapkan fungsi manajemen: (1) LPM dalam perencanaan kegiatannyamelibatkan tokoh masyarakat desa binaan, baik dalam rapat bulanan atau tahunan termasuk dalam menentukan tujuan kegiatan keagamaanya, serta dalam mengmbil keputusannya; (2) LPM dalam pengorganisasian telah mempersiapkan para anggtonya dalam pembagian job discription juga melibatkan anggota biasa LPM PPWH sebagai penyemangat dalam mewujudkan kegiatan desa binaannya; (3) LPM dalam penggerakan kegiatan desa binaannya mengelompokkan santri atau pengurus inti LPM dalam satu kamar, mengadakan pengembangan SDM ustaz atau ustzah juga dai atau daiyah sehingga mereka siap diterjunkan ke masyarakat binannnya; dan (4) LPM dalam pengawasamelakukan pengawasan dan evaluasi pada kinerja pengurus juga kegiatan yang telah disepakti sebagai bentuk tanggung jawabnya.
