Abstract

Abstract: Work readiness is a condition of students when after graduating they have the competencies needed to enter the workforce. The entrepreneurial spirit is also part of the work readiness of students. Various rides can be used by students in preparing themselves to enter the workforce. Important factors that support job readiness besides competence are communication factors and the extent of student association. Student organizations (Ormawa) are vehicles that can be used by students for this purpose. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of leadership style, managerial ability, self-efficacy, and learning achievement on work readiness of students of the Faculty of Education, State University of Malang. This study uses a quantitative approach. The design or design of this study is an ex-post-facto cross-sectional survey and is included in the descriptive-causality research type. The population of this research is all of the management of Ormawa Faculty of Education, State University of Malang. Based on the calculation of Krejcie and Morgan Table (1970), the total population was 269 students, taken as a sample of 158 students. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. Analysis of the data that will be used in this study are: (1) descriptive analysis; (2) regression analysis; and (3) path analysis. Based on the results of data analysis, this study concludes: (1) there is a significant influence of leadership style (X1) on students' work readiness (Y); (2) there is a significant influence of managerial ability (X2) on student work readiness of Ormawa (Y); (3) there is a significant effect of self-efficacy (X3) on student work readiness of Ormawa (Y); (4) there is a significant effect of learning achievement (X4) on student work readiness of Ormawa (Y); and (5) there is a significant influence of leadership style (X1), managerial ability (X2), self-efficacy (X3), and learning achievement (X4) on students' work readiness (Y).Abstrak: Kesiapan kerja adalah kondisi mahasiswa ketika setelah lulus memiliki kompetensi yang dibutuhkan untuk memasuki dunia kerja. Jiwa berwirausaha juga merupakan bagian kesiapan kerja mahasiswa. Berbagai wahana dapat dimanfaatkan mahasiswa dalam mempersiapkan dirinya untuk memasuki dunia kerja. Faktor penting yang mendukung kesiapan kerja selain kompetensi adalah faktor komunikasi dan luasnya pergaulan mahasiswa. Organisasi kemahasiswaan (ormawa) merupakan wahana yang dapat digunakan mahasiswa untuk itu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan, kemampuan manajerial, efikasi diri, dan prestasi belajar terhadap kesiapan kerja mahasiswa ormawa Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Negeri Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Rancangan atau desain penelitian ini adalah survey cross-sectional ex-post-facto dan termasuk dalam jenis penelitian deskriptif-kausalitas. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh pengurus Ormawa Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Negeri Malang. Berdasarkan perhitungan Tabel Krejcie dan Morgan (1970), jumlah populasi sebanyak 269 orang mahasiswa, diambil sampel penelitian sebanyak 158 orang mahasiswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket. Analisis data yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah: (1) analisis deskriptif; (2) analisis regresi; dan (3) analisis jalur. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, penelitian ini menyimpulkan: (1) ada pengaruh yang signifikan gaya kepemimpinan (X1) terhadap kesiapan kerja mahasiswa ormawa (Y); (2) ada pengaruh yang signifikan kemampuan manajerial (X2) terhadap kesiapan kerja mahasiswa ormawa (Y); (3) ada pengaruh yang signifikan efikasi diri (X3) terhadap kesiapan kerja mahasiswa ormawa (Y); (4) ada pengaruh yang signifikan prestasi belajar (X4) terhadap kesiapan kerja mahasiswa ormawa (Y); dan (5) ada pengaruh yang signifikan gaya kepemimpinan (X1), kemampuan manajerial (X2), efikasi diri (X3), dan prestasi belajar (X4) terhadap kesiapan kerja mahasiswa ormawa (Y).

Abstract

This study aims to describe: 1) the management of cooperation between the school and the community of West Nginamanu village in an effort to manage the childhood education in St. Hildegard Ize playgroup, and 2) the supporting and inhibiting factors in the management of cooperation between school and community in an effort to manage the childhood education in St. Hildegard Ize group play Wolomeze district, Ngada regency. This study used a qualitative approach and located in St. Hildegard Ize playgroup Wolomeze district. The subject of the study were the group play manager, parents, and village officials. Data collection was done through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis used an interactive model from Miles and Huberman with its components, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that 1) the cooperation management between the school and the members of the community in St. Hildegard Ize playgroup that seen from the planning, organizing, implementation, and controlling has been run well, but at the implementation stage it is still not optimal, 2) The hindering factors for cooperation between the school and the community namely the condition of parents’ occupation, the improper building condition of St. Hildegard Ize playgroup, and the incapable teachers in communicating the children’s development to the parents, whereas the supporting factors namely the parents’ concern towards the early childhood education and the school’s openness in receiving input from the parents.

Abstract

Abstract: Servant leadership is a form of leadership which is oriented to serve the needs of subordinates in order to improve their pay scale. The term of servant leadership was first introduced by Robert K. Greenleaf in 1970. Servant leadership can be implemented in educational institution. School as one of those intuition that runs teaching and learning process is highly determined by the practices of servant leadership performed by the principal. This research aims at investigating the effect of servant leadership on teachers and employees at Sekolah Islam Athirah Makassar. This is a quantitative research using regression analysis in analyzing the data. The variables of this research are servant leadership (X) and teachers and employees grade performance (Y). The total participant is 90 which was taken randomly from each unit including primary school (SD), junior high school (SMP), and senior high school (SMA). The result of regression analysis showed that there was significant effect by0,02 < 0,05. It can be concluded that the X variable has effect on Y variable. In addition, it is obtained that t-test is higher than t-table (2.297 > 1.991) which means Ho is rejected and there is effect of servant leadership on teachers and employees’ performance grade. The regression equation obtained is Y = 76,058 + 0,187 X.  Abstrak: Servant leadership atau kepemimpinan yang melayani adalah konsep kepemimpinan yang pertama kali diperkenalkan oleh Greenleaf (1970) yang dimaksudkan sebagai bentuk kepemimpinan yang berorientasi pada sifat melayani kepentingan bawahan agar mereka menjadi lebih sejahtera. Praktik kepemimpinan yang melayani (servant leadership) juga dapat dilaksanakan pada institusi pendidikan. Sekolah sebagai institusi pendidikan yang menjalankan proses pendidikan dan pembelajaran bagi peserta didik sangat ditentukan oleh praktik kepemimpinan yang dijalankan oleh kepala sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan yang melayani (servant leadership) terhadap kinerja guru dan karyawan di Sekolah Islam Athirah Makassar. Metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan analisis regresi, variabel penelitian adalah servant leadership (X) dan nilai kinerja guru dan karyawan (Y), jumlah sampel sebanyak 90 orang guru dari unit SD, SMP dan SMA. Bedasarakan analisis regresi diperoleh nilai signifikan 0,02 < 0,05 sehingga disimpulkan bahwa variabel x berpengaruh terhadap variabel Y. Pada nilai t diperoleh thitung > ttabel (2,297 > 1,991) sehingga H0 ditolak artinya ada pengaruh servant leadership terhadap nilai kinerja guru dan karyawan. Dengan Persamaan Regresi yang terbentuk adalah Y = 76,058 + 0,187 X.

Abstract

 Abstract: Empowerment of Human Resources (HR) is directed to increase HR participation in organizations and increase productivity. The results of various studies show that HR is a determinant of productivity. HR in the field of education can be grouped into three groups, namely the principal, teachers, and TAS. School competitiveness is also determined by the human resources it has. This research was conducted in a pesantren-based Junior High School (SMP) in East Java. The schools which are the research sites are: (1) SMP Insan Terpadu Probolinggo; (2) SMP Assa’adah Gresik; dan (3) SMP An Nur Bululawang Malang. This research refers to the Model of Empowerment of Islamic Boarding School-Based Human Resources Empowerment with Soft System Methodology Approach that has been designed. Researchers take quantitative measurements of the variables that impact the existence of the model. The variables measured were six variables, namely: learning leadership, change leadership, spiritual leadership, school culture, professional ethics, and teacher teaching performance. The method to be used is quantitative research. Measurement of the six variables is using a questionnaire instrument. The analysis that will be used is descriptive and regression analysis. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of learning leadership, change leadership, spiritual leadership, school culture, and professional ethics on the teaching performance of pesantren-based junior high schools in East Java. Abstrak: Pemberdayaan sumber daya manusia (SDM) diarahkan untuk meningkatkan partisipasi SDM dalam organisasi dan meningkatkan produktivitas. Hasil berbagai studi menunjukkan bahwa SDM merupakan faktor penentu produktivitas. SDM bidang pendidikan tataran sekolah dapat dikelompokkan menjadi tiga, yaitu kepala sekolah, guru, dan TAS. Daya saing sekolah juga ditentukan oleh SDM yang dimiliki. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP berbasis pesantren di Jawa Timur. Sekolah yang menjadi tempat penelitian ialah: (1) SMP Insan Terpadu Probolinggo; (2) SMP Assa’adah Gresik; dan (3) SMP An Nur Bululawang Malang. Penelitian ini mengacu pada rancangan Model Pemberdayaan Sumber Daya Manusia Sekolah Menengah Pertama Berbasis Pesantren dengan Pendekatan Soft System Methodology. Peneliti melakukan pengukuran secara kuantitatif terhadap variabel yang menjadi dampak adanya model tersebut. Adapun variabel yang diukur ada enam variabel, yaitu: kepemimpinan pembelajaran, kepemimpinan perubahan, kepemimpinan spiritual, budaya sekolah, etika profesi, dan kinerja mengajar guru. Metode yang akan digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Pengukuran terhadap keenam variabel tersebut adalah dengan instrumen angket. Analisis yang akan digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan regresi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan ada pengaruh yang signifikan kepemimpinan pembelajaran, kepemimpinan perubahan, kepemimpinan spiritual, budaya sekolah, dan etika profesi terhadap kinerja mengajar guru Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) berbasis pesantren di Jawa Timur.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the leadership role of school principals in Ensino Secundario Geral Cristal. This type of research is descriptive qualitative by using the Discrepancy evaluation model. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that (1) the design component has a category that shows the role of principal leadership using management with good planning to make initial programs under the mission and vision in the learning process; (2) the installation component shows the leadership role of the principal in complementing the facilities and infrastructure as school facilities; (3) the process component shows that teaching and learning activities are following the curriculum and the role of the principal in strengthening teacher performance in learning; (4) the product component shows that the school has produced competent students.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of leadership effectiveness, task commitment and work environment together on teacher performance, effect of leadership effectiveness on teacher performance, task commitment to teacher performance, work environment on teacher performance. The research method used is a survey. The sample size is 91 teachers, the sampling technique used is random cluster sampling. Data collection using a questionnaire. Data analysis consists of testing the validity and reliability of the institution, the prerequisite test for data analysis and description. Testing the hypothesis with linear regression techniques. The results of the study addressed (1) There was a significant effect of Leadership Effectiveness and Task Commitment together on Teacher Performance. (2) There is a significant effect of Leadership Effectiveness on Vocational High School Teacher Performance. (3) There is a significant effect of Task Commitment on Teacher Performance. (4) There is a significant effect of the Work Environment on Teacher Performance. Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh efektifitas kepemimpinan, komitmen tugas dan lingkungan kerja secara bersama-sama terhadap kinerja guru, pengaruh efektifitas kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja guru, komitmen tugas terhadap kinerja guru, lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja guru. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan adalah survey. Sampel berukuran 91 guru, teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu random cluster sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis data terdiri dari uji validitas dan reliabilitas insturmen, uji prasyarat analisis dan deskripsi data. Pengujian hipotesis dengan teknik regresi linier. Hasil penelitian menujukan (1) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan Efektifitas Kepemimpinan dan Komitmen Tugas secara bersama-sama terhadap Kinerja Gur. (2) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan Efektifitas Kepemimpinan terhadap Kinerja Guru SMKN. (3) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan Komitmen Tugas terhadap Kinerja Guru. (4) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan Lingkungan Kerja terhadap Kinerja Guru.

Abstract

Abstract: Education in Indonesia has entered the era of industrial revolution 4.0. Changes that occur are becoming more comprehensive and challenges are also increasingly global. In order to answer Indonesian education entering the industrial revolution era 4.0 the learning done by teachers must also change and improve and improve its quality. The implementation of supervision in accordance with the industrial revolution era will give birth to teachers and the appropriate quality of learning. Therefore principals must increasingly improve the quality of their competence in carrying out supervision of learning and can increasingly facilitate learners achieving learning goals. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap upaya yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan pembelajaran guru di era revolusi industri 4.0. Upaya kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan pembelajaran guru harus sesuai dan tepat dengan tujuan belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan analisis kualitatif deskriptif. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa upaya kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan pembelajaran guru adalah dengan berfokus pada kebutuhan peserta didik dan pengefektifan fungsi kepala sekolah sebagai pemimpin, supervisor, dan manajer di sekolah. Selain itu, juga peningkatan kompetensi kepala sekolah yang sesuai dengan era revolusi industri 4.0.

Abstract

Abstract: Disaster coping management is important to be well managed by the government and all stakeholders because Indonesia is a disaster-prone area. Disaster risk reduction (DRR) is needed because of the number of disasters occurring recently have serious impacts on the economy, social and environment. This study aims to look at  the effect of education institution and regional disaster management institutions (BPBD) on household participation of disaster training as an effort of DRR. Literature also revealed that regional and households characteristics have an important role in implementing DRR.The design of this study uses quantitative logit regression analysis using secondary data from 297,276 household respondents from the 2017 National Socio-Economic Survey (SUSENAS). The results showed the disaster institutions at the district level, secondary education and universities has a significant impact and was able to provide an increase in probability of household disaster training participation. Abstrak: Manajemen penanggulangan bencana merupakan hal yang penting dikelola dengan baik oleh pemerintah dan semua elemen masyarakat karena Indonesia memiliki wilayah rawan bencana. Pengurangan risiko bencana (PRB) diperlukan mengingat banyaknya kejadian bencana dewasa ini berdampak cukup serius pada perekonomian, sosial maupun lingkungan hidup. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh lembaga pendidikan serta keberadaan lembaga penanggulangan bencana daerah terhadap partisipasi pelatihan atau simulasi bencana rumah tangga sebagai upaya PRB. Literatur juga mengungkapkan bahwa karakteristik daerah memiliki peran penting dalam implementasi PRB secara optimum.  Desain penelitian ini menggunakan analisis kuantitatif regresi logit dengan memanfaatkan data sekunder 297,276 responden rumah tangga dari Survei Sosial Ekonomi Nasional (SUSENAS) tahun 2017. Hasil menunjukan keberadaan lembaga penanggulangan bencana kab/kota dan lembaga pendidikan di daerah berupa pendidikan menengah, perguruan tinggi memiliki pengaruh signifikan dan dapat memberikan peningkatan terhadap kemungkinan partisipasi pelatihan kebencanaan rumah tangga.

Abstract

Abstract : Employee commitment and engagement is one of the keys to organizational success. Furthermore,  in a higher education instituion, it is important to measure the commitment and engagement of lecturers in it in an effort to improve quality and performance. However, there is no specific measurement to measure the level of commitment and special attachment to lecturers. The purpose of this study is to find alternative instruments, measurements, and scales for surveys that can measure the level of lecturer commitment to the profession and their higher education appropriately. The study was conducted by survey method, of 136 lecturers in Jakarta and surrounding areas. Initial measurements used 13 item, which were then processed by RASCH modeling. The RASCH model analysis showed that there were 11 item measures that could be suggested for further research in measuring the commitment and attachment of lecturers, of which these 11 items were not biased towards age, educational background and lecturer status, but were biased towards the length of service. In addition to the items, the results of the study show that the measurement of the items can be done with a four-level Likert scale. The implication obtained from the results of this study is that these 11 measures can be used for research that measures the level of commitment and attachment of lecturers. The implication of this research is the measurement items for commitment and engagement of lecturers can be used in further research and analysis. Abstrak: Komitmen dan keterlibatan karyawan adalah salah satu kunci keberhasilan organisasi. Selanjutnya, dalam lembaga pendidikan tinggi, penting untuk mengukur komitmen dan keterlibatan dosen di dalamnya dalam upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan kinerja. Namun, tidak ada pengukuran khusus untuk mengukur tingkat komitmen dan keterikatan khusus kepada dosen. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan instrumen alternatif, pengukuran, dan skala untuk survei yang dapat mengukur tingkat komitmen dosen terhadap profesi dan pendidikan tinggi mereka secara tepat. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode survei, dari 136 dosen di Jakarta dan sekitarnya. Pengukuran awal menggunakan 13 item, yang kemudian diproses oleh pemodelan RASCH. Analisis model RASCH menunjukkan bahwa ada 11 item ukuran yang dapat disarankan untuk penelitian lebih lanjut dalam mengukur komitmen dan keterikatan dosen, di mana 11 item ini tidak bias terhadap usia, latar belakang pendidikan dan status dosen, tetapi bias terhadap panjangnya. layanan. Selain item, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengukuran item dapat dilakukan dengan skala Likert empat tingkat. Implikasi yang diperoleh dari hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa 11 langkah ini dapat digunakan untuk penelitian yang mengukur tingkat komitmen dan keterikatan dosen. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah item pengukuran untuk komitmen dan keterlibatan dosen dapat digunakan dalam penelitian dan analisis lebih lanjut.

Abstract

This study attempts to explain (1) the creativity of the principal affects human resources to explore school financial resources, (2) the invention of the principal drives human resources to explore school financial resources, and (3) the strategy of the principal to engage in raising funds with the group. This analysis uses a qualitative descriptive technique. The results showed the principal's creativity affects human resources to explore the school's integrated financial resources in subjects that can inspire students to think creatively, work hard, and enable students to be autonomous in identifying sources of funds to be used in different activities.
