Abstract

Abstract: The acceleration of digitization in education has driven the need for systems that can effectively and efficiently manage school administration and student monitoring. This study examines the implementation of the School Management Information System (SIMS) pro.jurnale.id as a solution for the digitalization of administration and student monitoring at SMAN 1 Boyolangu. This case study employs a qualitative approach using observation, interviews, and documentation methods to evaluate the main functions of SIMS in supporting administrative processes and monitoring student development. The results indicate that the system is most frequently used in modules such as teacher and student attendance, master data management, curriculum management, and correspondence handled by administrative staff. SIMS facilitates faster data input, increases accuracy, simplifies report generation, and significantly reduces paper usage. Student monitoring has also become more effective through features like real-time attendance, daily assessments, violation records, and parent communication facilitated through homeroom teachers and guidance counselors as intermediaries. However, the study identifies several challenges, including user adaptation difficulties to new technology, network infrastructure limitations, and features that are not yet fully optimized. The researchers recommend enhanced training for teachers and staff, the development of more comprehensive features, and intensive socialization to increase parental engagement in using the system. This study provides important insights into the benefits and obstacles of digitalizing school management, serving as a foundation for developing better educational information systems in the future. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to identify internship experiences as a means of developing hard and soft skills competencies among students of the Agribusiness of Agricultural Product Processing (APHP) expertise program at SMK Baitul Izza. This study employs a qualitative approach with a case study design, involving three twelfth-grade APHP students, one internship coordinator, one internship supervising teacher, and one industry mentor as the primary informants. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, and were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that internship activities contribute to the development of students’ technical competencies (hard skills). Students were able to apply theoretical knowledge acquired at school to industrial practice, master the use of modern tools and materials, and implement occupational health and safety (OHS) principles. In addition, internships also enhance non-technical competencies (soft skills), such as discipline, responsibility, teamwork, interpersonal communication, and adaptability to professional work environments. Overall, internships function as an effective form of contextual learning that bridges the gap between the educational environment and the industrial world. Through direct workplace experience, students not only become more proficient technically but also develop strong work character and readiness to compete in the labor market. Therefore, the implementation of internships at SMK Baitul Izza has proven to make a significant contribution to achieving the goals of vocational education—producing competent, professional, and competitive graduates in the modern industrial era. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to examine the role of innovation and entrepreneurship education in enhancing graduate employability in vocational higher education through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) and bibliometric analysis. In the context of rapid technological change and increasing labor market demands, vocational higher education institutions are expected to produce graduates who are not only technically competent but also innovative, entrepreneurial, and adaptable. This study analyzed 41 Scopus-indexed publications published between 2021 and 2026, with data processed using VOSviewer to identify research trends, keyword relationships, thematic clusters, and the knowledge structure of the field. The findings reveal that employability is the dominant and central theme, strongly associated with innovation, entrepreneurship education, digital skills, soft skills, and work-based learning. The keyword co- occurrence analysis indicates a shift from a traditional skills-based orientation toward a more integrated and multidimensional understanding of employability, emphasizing not only technical competencies but also creativity, communication, collaboration, adaptability, and lifelong learning capacity. In addition, the distribution of authors, institutions, and countries demonstrates that this topic has attracted global scholarly attention, particularly in developing and transitional economies, although the field remains fragmented and continuously evolving. The study concludes that enhancing graduate employability requires a holistic ecosystem that integrates curriculum innovation, entrepreneurial learning, digital capability development, and strong collaboration between educational institutions and industry. It is recommended that future research develop integrative frameworks and explore context-specific strategies to strengthen the alignment between vocational education and labor market needs. Keywords: employability, entrepreneurship education, innovation education, vocational higher education.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the role of transformational leadership in enhancing teacher and student motivation in educational institutions. The study employs a literature review approach by examining 20 relevant scholarly journal articles published between 2016 and 2024. Transformational leadership is understood as a leadership style oriented toward positive change by emphasizing vision, inspiration, emotional support, and intellectual stimulation for its followers. In the context of education, transformational leaders, such as school principals or institutional heads, have the ability to create an inspiring educational vision, build strong interpersonal relationships with teachers and students, and encourage innovation in both teaching and school management. The analysis results indicate that transformational leadership has a significant impact on improving teacher motivation. Teachers become more enthusiastic in teaching, more open to change, and more committed to developing their professional skills. Furthermore, students also show increased learning motivation, active engagement in class, and greater self-confidence. Leadership that fosters a positive and supportive school climate strengthens interpersonal relationships within the educational environment, enhances collaboration among teachers, and builds a collaborative culture that supports the creation of innovative learning. Transformational leadership also plays an important role in the development of adaptive curricula, the creation of a conducive work environment, and the enhancement of teacher job satisfaction. Overall, the findings show that this leadership style can be an effective strategy in creating educational institutions that are not only productive but also adaptive to ongoing global challenges. Therefore, educational leaders are encouraged to adopt the principles of transformational leadership in order to strengthen the intrinsic motivation of both teachers and students in achieving optimal educational goals. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to map the intellectual landscape, thematic development, and research gaps in collaborative educational supervision through a bibliometric review of Scopus-indexed literature. Collaborative supervision has increasingly been discussed as an alternative to traditional hierarchical supervision because it emphasizes dialogue, shared responsibility, reflective inquiry, and professional learning. However, the development of this topic remains conceptually fragmented and has not been sufficiently mapped as a coherent field of educational research. This study employed a bibliometric analysis integrated with a narrative literature review. Data were collected from the Scopus database using the keywords “collaborative supervision” and “education” in the title, abstract, and keyword fields. After applying inclusion and exclusion criteria, 27 relevant documents published between 2000 and 2024 were analyzed. Bibliometric mapping was conducted using VOSviewer and Bibliometrix to examine publication trends, institutional and geographical contributions, keyword co-occurrence, and thematic structures, while the narrative review was used to interpret the conceptual and practical meanings of the most relevant studies. The findings show that scholarly attention to collaborative supervision has grown gradually since the early 2000s, with stronger development after the 2010s and publication peaks in 2003, 2015, and 2024. The United States appears as the most productive country, while institutional contributions remain dispersed, indicating that no single academic center dominates this field. Keyword analysis reveals several thematic clusters, including health professions education, clinical and fieldwork supervision, collaborative learning, teacher development, and professional identity formation. These findings indicate that collaborative supervision is an interdisciplinary concept applied across teacher education, higher education, social work, medical education, and allied health training. Nevertheless, the field still faces challenges related to inconsistent definitions, limited empirical validation, and underrepresentation of Global South contexts. The study concludes that collaborative supervision has strong potential to support professional development and sustainable educational improvement, but future research should develop clearer theoretical frameworks, expand comparative and longitudinal studies, and explore digital or hybrid supervision models. Keywords: collaborative supervision, educational supervision, teacher development, bibliometric analysis, professional learning
