Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe green leadership, teacher work culture, work motivation, and teacher performance, as well as analyze the direct and indirect effects of these variables on the performance of public elementary school teachers in Salam Babaris District, Tapin Regency. The study employed a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. The population consisted of 97 teachers, all of whom were selected as research samples. Data were collected using questionnaires that met the validity and reliability criteria. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics and path analysis. The findings reveal that green leadership, teacher work culture, and work motivation fall into the good category. Statistically, green leadership, teacher work culture, and work motivation have direct effects on teacher performance. Abstract

Abstract: The low utilization of contextual academic supervision in improving teachers' pedagogical competence remains a significant concern in elementary schools. This study aims to describe the planning, organization, implementation, supervision, obstacles, and solutions in the management of contextual academic supervision in Kurniajaya State Elementary School and Buniasih State Elementary School, Tasikmalaya Regency. This study was conducted for two weeks using a qualitative approach, taking the theory from G.R Terry through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that contextual academic supervision in both schools has been implemented based on management principles, which include: (a) planning includes setting goals, identifying resources, strategies, and preparing schedules and budgets; (b) organizing is carried out through the formation of clear structures, delegation of tasks according to competencies, and strengthening teamwork; (c) implementation includes teacher mentoring, analysis of Education Reports, utilization of the GTK Space Platform, and learning reflection; and (d) supervision is carried out in a reflective-participatory manner by producing a continuous improvement plan. In addition, the study also found (e) obstacles in the form of limited time, differences in teacher commitment, and less than optimal utilization of digital facilities; and (f) solutions achieved through strengthening shared commitment, more flexible scheduling, and maximizing the use of simple technology. Thus, it can be concluded that contextual academic supervision management in both schools has been effective, although it still faces obstacles that need to be overcome with adaptive strategies to sustainably improve teachers' pedagogical competence. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the direct and indirect effects of work culture, organizational justice, and job satisfaction on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) among public elementary school teachers in South Tapin District. The research employed a descriptive correlational approach with a survey design and data analysis conducted using path analysis. The population consisted of 277 teachers from 21 schools, of which 163 respondents were selected using probability simple random sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, hypothesis testing, and path analysis. The results indicate that work culture, organizational justice, and job satisfaction have direct effects on teachers’ OCB. In addition, work culture and organizational justice were found to indirectly influence OCB through job satisfaction. Regression analysis shows that the coefficients for work culture, organizational justice, and job satisfaction on OCB were 0,276; 0,332; and 0,311 respectively. Meanwhile, the influence of work culture and organizational justice on job satisfaction was 0,442 and 0,544 respectively. The indirect effects of work culture and organizational justice on OCB through job satisfaction were 0,137 and 0,169. Overall, all research variables were categorized as high. These findings suggest that strengthening work culture, organizational justice, and job satisfaction can enhance teachers’ OCB, which in turn contributes to improving overall school organizational performance. Abstract

The complexity of financial management in educational institutions requires the implementation of systematic management functions to achieve optimal effectiveness. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the four financial management functions—planning, organizing, directing, and controlling—in improving the performance of school financial management. The research methodology employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical literature study design through a systematic review of relevant academic literature. Secondary data analysis is conducted using content analysis with categorization based on the four dimensions of financial management functions. The results indicate a significant transformation from conventional approaches toward integrated, performance-based systems. The implementation of the planning function produces more accurate budget documents through participatory approaches. The organizing function establishes hierarchical structures with clear division of responsibilities, reducing the risk of fund misappropriation. Transformational leadership within the directing function enhances team motivation and stakeholder participation. Information technology–based controlling functions facilitate real-time monitoring and reporting transparency. The conclusion shows that the synergistic integration of the four management functions creates a holistic framework that substantially improves the effectiveness of school financial management.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the effects of transformational leadership, psychological well-being, and job stress on the work ethic of elementary school teachers. Teachers’ work ethic plays a crucial role in improving the quality of basic education, particularly in semi-rural areas characterized by limited resources and complex work dynamics. This research employed a quantitative approach using a path analysis design. The research population consisted of all elementary school teachers in Bungur District, Tapin Regency, with a total sample of 101 teachers selected through a total sampling technique. Data were collected using standardized Likert-scale questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability. Descriptive and inferential analyses were conducted to examine both direct and indirect relationships among variables. The results indicate that transformational leadership, psychological well-being, and job stress simultaneously have a significant effect on teachers’ work ethic. Partially, psychological well-being was found to be the most dominant factor in enhancing teachers’ work ethic, while job stress had a significant negative effect. Furthermore, transformational leadership not only exerts a direct influence on teachers’ work ethic but also indirectly strengthens it through the improvement of teachers’ psychological well-being. In conclusion, the findings emphasize that strengthening teachers’ work ethic is more effectively achieved through a humanistic leadership approach that prioritizes psychological well-being, rather than relying solely on strategies aimed at reducing work-related stress. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the financial management of the School Operational Assistance (BOS) funds using the School Activity and Budget Plan Application (ARKAS) at the junior secondary school level. A descriptive qualitative method was employed, with data collected through in-depth interviews, direct observations, and document analysis conducted in two public schools located in Majalengka Regency, West Java. The findings reveal that ARKAS significantly enhances the effectiveness, efficiency, and accountability of BOS fund management. It facilitates need-based activity planning, systematic financial documentation, and integrated reporting aligned with official regulations and monitoring mechanisms. Features such as automatic validation and user activity logs reinforce accountability, while the locking system reduces opportunities for budget manipulation. However, the study also identifies several challenges, including limited human resource readiness, insufficient ICT infrastructure in some areas, and the lack of active involvement of school committees in financial planning and evaluation processes. These limitations suggest that successful implementation of ARKAS requires not only technological tools but also continuous capacity building, improved digital literacy, and sustained technical assistance from education authorities. Therefore, ARKAS must be seen as a strategic reform instrument for strengthening school financial governance, rather than merely a technical solution.
