Abstract

Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui bagaimana siswa program percepatan belajar mengelola dan waktu bermain selama progam percepatan waktu dan apakah program percepatan mempengaruhi perasaan mereka untuk mendapatkan waktu bermain yang memadai. Ini adalah studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumen. Validitas data diperoleh melalui triangulasi, verifikasi responden, dan penilaian antara para peneliti. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan (1) reduksi data, (2) penyajian data, (3) kesimpulan menggambar. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan belajar dan bermain siswa dari program percepatan Sekolah SMP Negeri 3 Pati: (1) siswa program percepatan mengatur waktu mereka dari pagi hingga sore, karena mereka menghadiri kegiatan belajar mengajar reguler dari pagi sampai sore, dan kemudian mengambil pelajaran tambahan di luar sekolah mereka sampai sore hari. Pada malam hari mereka harus meninjau pelajaran dan melakukan tugas rumah dan mempersiapkan bahan belajar untuk hari berikutnya. (2) Para siswa dari program percepatan mengelola waktu mereka bermain selama liburan atau waktu luang. Hal ini karena setiap hari mereka menghabiskan sebagian besar waktu mereka untuk belajar dan tidak punya waktu untuk bermain. (3) Para siswa berpikir bahwa waktu untuk belajar tidak seimbang dengan waktu mereka untuk bermain karena mereka harus belajar setiap hari dari pagi hingga sore dan dapat memiliki waktu untuk bermain hanya selama liburan sekolah.This study is meant to find out how the students of the acceleration program manage their learning and play time during the time-demanding acceleration progam and whether the acceleration program affects their feeling to obtain adequate playing time. This is a case study. The data were collected by the use of interviews, observation, and documents. The validity of the data was obtained through triangulation, respondent verification, and assessment among researchers. The data were analyzed by using (1) data reduction, (2) data presentation, (3) drawing conclusions. The results of the analysis show that the learning and playing management of the students of the acceleration program of State Junior High School 3 of Pati: (1) the students of the acceleration program manage their time from morning to evening, because they attend the regular teaching learning activities from morning to afternoon, and then take extra lessons outside their school until late afternoon. In the evening they have to review lessons and do home assignments and prepare learning materials for the following day. (2) The students of the acceleration program manage their playing time during their holidays or free time. This is because every day they spend most of their time to study and do not have time to play. (3) The students think that the time for learning is not balanced with their time to play because they have to learn every day from morning to evening and can have time to play only during school holidays.

Abstract

Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pengembangan spiritual dan mental dan prestasi akademik taruna, dan pendekatan kualitatif digunakan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mendukung dan menghambat pelaksanaan pembangunan spiritual dan mental untuk taruna Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Semarang. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa (1) ada hubungan antara latihan fisik, kegiatan, dan kehadiran mereka di asrama dan prestasi akademik taruna. (2) Faktor-faktor yang menghambat pelaksanaan pembangunan spiritual dan mental meliputi (a) latar belakang yang berbeda dari karir, (b) lebih sedikit waktu tersedia untuk merencanakan pengembangan spiritual dan mental, (c) tidak adanya sebuah komite untuk mengevaluasi pengembangan spiritual dan mental, (d) koordinasi yang kurang antara karir, (e) tidak adanya hukuman fisik yang mengakibatkan pelanggaran peraturan, (f) tidak ada perawatan dari karir dan kuliah, (g) sejumlah karier, (h) taruna malas mempengaruhi orang lain untuk mengikuti perilaku mereka. (3) Berdasarkan wawancara, beberapa faktor yang yang mendukung pengembangan spiritual dan mental meliputi (a) pernyataan dari taruna bahwa mereka akan mengikuti aturan, (b) adanya pertibtar, (c) baik sarana dan prasarana, (d) taruna tinggal di asrama sehingga kontrol mudah, (e) seragam taruna memakainya mudah untuk mengaturnya, (f) junior menghormati senior mereka, dan senior menghormati guru mereka, (g) pengawasan ketat orangtua ke taruna (h) ketersediaan karir di asrama untuk mengontrol kegiatan taruna dan (i) pemantauan pengembangan spiritual dan mental.The quantitative approach is used to find out the relationship between the spiritual and mental development and the cadets’ academic achievement, and the qualitative approach is used to find out the factors that support and hinder the implementation of the spiritual and mental development for the cadets’ of Semarang Merchant Marine Polytechnics. The results of the analysis show that (1) there is a relationship between the physical exercises, cadets’ activities, and their presence in the dormitory and the cadets’ academic achievement. (2) Factors that hinder the implementation of the spiritual and mental development include (a) different basic background of the careers, (b) less available time for planning the spiritual and mental development, (c) the absence of a committee for evaluating the spiritual and mental development, (d) less coordination between careers, (e) the absence of physical punishment resulting in the violation of regulations, (f) no care from careers and lectures, (g) limited number of careers, (h) lazy cadets influence others to follow their behavior. (3) Based on the interviews, some factors that’s support the spiritual and mental development include (a) statement from cadets that they would observe the rules, (b) the presence of pertibtar, (c) good infrastructure and facilities, (d) cadets stay in the dormitory so control is easily made, (e) cadets wearing uniform it easy to organize them, (f) juniors respecting their seniors, and seniors respecting their teachers, (g) strict parent’ supervision to the cadets, (h) the availability of careers in the dormitory to control the cadets’ activities, and (i) the monitoring of the spiritual and mental development.

Abstract

Need assesment sebagai langkah yang menentukan kualitas pelaksanaan program bimbingan dan konseling. Fenomena menunjukkan, guru bimbingan dan konseling kurang memperhatikan langkah yang dimaksud, melakukan analisis masih manual. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Mixed Method dengan desain deskriptif eksplanatori (sequential explanatory), artinya pengumpulan data secara kuantitatif. Metode kualitatif berperan untuk membuktikan, memperdalam, memperluas, memperlemah dan menggugurkan data kuantitatif yang diperoleh pada tahap awal. Populasinya guru bimbingan dan konseling Sekolah Menengah Atas negeri di kota Semarang, teknik sampel yang digunakan adalah Purposive Sampling dan Cluster Random Sampling. Teknik kuesioner, dan wawancara sebagai pengumpul data, dianalisis dengan mengintegrasikan ke dua interprestasi data secara deskriptif eksploratif, sehingga diperoleh data kualitatif baru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan need assessment program bimbingan konseling bidang bimbingan belajar dalam kategori baik sekali, namun guru bimbingan dan konseling tidak mengetahui cara melakukan standarisasi instrumen dengan software program komputer. Disarankan, guru bimbingan dan konseling belajar melakukan standarisasi instrumen, dan ketrampilan teknologi informasi. Needs assessment as a step that determines the quality of guidance and counseling program. The phenomenon shows, guidance and counseling teachers pay less attention to the steps mentioned, the analysis is still manual. Mixed methods research approach to the design of descriptive explanatory method (sequential explanatory), meaning that the quantitative data collection. Qualitative methods serve to prove, deepen, broaden, weaken and abort the quantitative data obtained in the early stages. Guidance and counseling teacher population of high school in the Semarang city, the sample technique used is Purposive Sampling and Cluster Random Sampling. Techniques questionnaires, and interviews as data collection, analyzed by integrating the two interpretations of the data in a descriptive explorative, in order to obtain new qualitative data. The results showed need assessment guidance and counseling program areas tutoring in the category of very good, but the teachers’ guidance and counseling do not know how to standardize the instrument with a computer software program. Suggested, teacher guidance and counseling to learn to do the standardization of instruments, and information technology skills.

Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this study is to establish an organized model of education and training of community-based nutrition to overcome iron nutrition anemia. The research design uses Research and Development (R&D) with a three-stage model. The population in the research is all productive-age women who live in Mangli village, with the number of 286. The sample is 22% consists of 60 women, and 30 women who are regarded having a small limited scale for nutrition  education and training. The techniques of data collection are documentation, in-depth observation, direct interview, and questionnaire. Data are analyzed using description of percentage and quantative approach by using  Paired t- test. The preliminary result shows that the learning effectiveness in a model that is built, is highly effective. It is proven by the difference in outcomes before and after training which is found to be significantt. The t score is 13,246 while t table is 2,861 (t score > t table). There is a decrease in iron anemia rates between before (40%) and after training in nutrition (20%), and significant difference, t score > t table. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian mendeskripsikan tentang (1) perilaku kebiasaan makan, (2) tingkat pendidikan, (3) pengetahuan gizi, (4) status gizi, (5) tingkat anemia, (6) efektivitas pembelajaran pada pendidikan dan pelatihan gizi, (7) penurunan angka anemia. Penelitian ini menggunakan Research and Development (R&D) dengan 3 tahapan. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah  ibu-ibu Desa Mangli usia produktif  yang berjumlah 60 ibu dari 286 ibu, sebagai sampel penelitian awal), sedangkan sampel untuk peserta pendidikan dan pelatihan berjumlah 30 ibu, dengan teknik purposive cluster  random sampling. Analisis data menggunakan deskripsi prosentase dan uji beda (paired t test) Hasil studi menunjukkan efektifitas pembelajaran pada model yang dibangun, memiliki efektifitas yang tinggi, terbukti dari adanya perbedaan hasil sebelum dan sesudah diklat secara signifikan,  t hitung 13,246 sedangkan t tabel 2,861 (t hitung > t tabel).Ada penurunan angka anemia gizi besi antara sebelum (40%) dan sesudah  pelatihan gizi (20%), diukur selang enam bulan dari pelaksanaan pendidikan dan pelatihan gizi, dan terbukti ada perbedaan  secara signifikan (hasil uji p<0,05).

Abstract

Abstrak : Motivasi berprestasi dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, diantaranya adalah pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan kepuasan kerja. Rumusan masalah penelitian adalah (1) Berapa besar pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap motivasi berprestasi guru? (2) Berapa besar  pengaruh kepuasan kerja  terhadap motivasi berprestasi guru? (3) Berapa besar kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan kepuasan kerja secara bersama-sama terhadap motivasi berprestasi guru. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian dilakukan di SD Kecamatan Ketanggungan, dengan sampel 100 orang guru. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya keterkaitan antara kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan kepuasan kerja guru secara bersama-sama dengan motivasi berprestasi. Simpulan penelitian adalah (1) Ada pengaruh antara kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dengan motivasi berprestasi sebesar 0.251, (2) ada pengaruh antara kepuasan kerja guru dengan motivasi berprestasi sebesar 0.323, (3) ada pengaruh secara simultan antara kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, kepuasan kerja dengan motivasi berprestasi sebesar 0.94 Simpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan kepuasan kerja mempunyai kaitan yang erat dengan motivasi berprestasi dengan tingkat kontribusi yang sangat besar yaitu 94%.   Abstract: Achievement motivation is influenced by several factors, including the influence of the principal's leadership and job satisfaction. The research problems are (1) How large is the effect of principal leadership on achievement motivation of teachers? (2) How much influence on achievement motivation and job satisfaction of teachers? (3) What are the relationship of principal's leadership and job satisfaction on achievement motivation of teachers. The approach used is descriptive research by employing quantitative approach. The study was conducted in primary Ketanggungan District, with a sample of 100 teachers. Results showed that the relationship between principal leadership and teacher job satisfaction together with achievement motivation. The results of the study were (1) There is the influence of the principal's leadership achievement motivation for 0251, (2) there is the influence of the teacher job satisfaction with achievement motivation for 0323, (3) there is a simultaneous effect between principal leadership, job satisfaction of achievement motivation 0.94. It is concluded that this research is that the principal's leadership and job satisfaction has been linked to achievement motivation with a huge level of contribution reaching 94%.

Abstract

Abstract: The objectives of the study were to describe and to analyze of the management curriculum of the education skills for the special needs children (deaf) at SLB Ma’arif Muntilan. The data collection was accomplished by using the interviews, the observation and the library research. The results of the study showed that (1) the planning of the education skills curriculum was started by conducting need analysis, curriculum objectives and the curriculum content design, and evaluation, (2) the organization of the education skills curriculum was divided into the organization of human resources and infrastructures, the arrangement of the school’s subjects and the time allocation, (3) the implementation of the education skills curriculum was executed by preparing the syllabus, the annual programs, the semester’s programs and the lesson plans, and last but not least the evaluation of the school’s activities, (4) the evaluation of the education skill curriculum was assessed by reviewing the the objectives, the functions, and the steps of the evaluations itself. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis manajemen kurikulum pendidikan keterampilan bagi anak berkebutuhan khusus (tunarungu) di SLB Ma’arif Muntilan. Data diperoleh dengan cara wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Perencanaan kurikulum pendidikan keterampilan dimulai dari identifikasi kebutuhan, perumusan tujuan kurikulum, perumusan isi kurikulum dan penentuan evaluasi (2) Pengorganisasian kurikulum pendidikan keterampilan meliputi pengorganisasian sumber daya manusia dan sarana prasarana, pengaturan materi pelajaran serta pengaturan waktu (3) Pelaksanaan kurikulum pendidikan keterampilan dimulai dengan pembuatan silabus, program tahunan, program semesteran dan Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pembelajaran serta evaluasi pelaksanaan pembelajaran (4) Evaluasi terhadap kurikulum pendidikan keterampilan bagi anak berkebutuhan khusus meliputi tujuan, fungsi dan bentuk atau cara evaluasi.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the pattern of the management program of Life Skills-based Education Equality in PKBM Bendan Jaya Pekalongan. This study employs a qualitative case study approach. The subjects of this study were 5 managers, 27 tutors, 5 technical resource persons and 131 Citizens. The data was collected by the method of participant observation and in-depth interviews and documentation. Analysis of data is employed derived from Miles and Huberman, namely data reduction, display data and verification data. The results revealed that (1) Program Planning education in PKBM Bendan mature Jaya done that based on the potential and opportunities; (2) Implementation of Life skills-based education equality in PKBM Bendan Jaya is very flexible related to the agreement between all the elements that exist in PKBM; (3) Organization of Human Resources at PKBM Bendan Jaya is characterized by patterns of kinship and stewardship patterns which tend to follow the pattern of the dual position gendhong indhit; (4) Eventhough the equality of Education Program Evaluation of PKBM Bendan Jaya tends to be less tolerant, but the residents are found to learn the material well enough with the evidence of high graduation. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola pengelolaan program Pendidikan Kesetaraan berbasis Kecakapan Hidup di PKBM Bendan Jaya Kota Pekalongan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus. Subjek  penelitian ini adalah 5 pengurus, 27 orang Tutor, 5 nara sumber teknis dan 131 Warga Belajar PKBM Bendan Jaya. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode pengamatan terlibat dan wawancara mendalam serta metode dokumentasi. Analisis data dengan teknik analisis yang dikembangkan oleh Miles dan Huberman yaitu reduksi data, display data dan verifikasi data.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Perencanaan Program pendidikan di PKBM Bendan Jaya dilakukan secara matang yakni berdasarkan pada potensi dan peluang yang ada; (2) Pelaksanaan Program pendidikan Kesetaraan berbasis kecakapan Hidup di PKBM Bendan Jaya sangat fleksibel dalam arti berdasarkan kesepakatan antar semua elemen yang ada di PKBM; (3) Pengorganisasian  Sumber Daya Manusia di PKBM Bendan Jaya sangat diwarnai dengan pola kekeluargaan  dan pola kepengurusan cenderung mengikuti pola gendhong indhit; dan (4) Evaluasi Program pendidikan Kesetaraan di PKBM Bendan Jaya meski cenderung toleran  namun daya serap warga belajar terhadap materi cukup tinggi.

Abstract

Abstract: Schools, as a social institution, is expected to meet the needs of the community about quality education. Principals have an important role in implementing integrated quality or TQM in school. TQM in a school will not run properly if it is not supported by quality-oriented leadership behavior of the principals. The focus of this research is the problem in leadership behaviors of school principals in implementing TQM. This study has the objectives  to determine the commitment of the school,  the behavior of the principal's leadership in improving the quality, and strategic leadership in improving the quality. Abstrak: Sekolah, sebagai suatu lembaga sosial diharapkan mampu memenuhi harapan dan kebutuhan masyarakat mengenai pendidikan yang berkualitas. Kepala sekolah mempunyai peran penting dalam menerapkan mutu terpadu atau TQM di sekolahnya. TQM dalam suatu sekolah tidak akan berjalan dengan baik bila tidak didukung oleh pola perilaku kepemimpinan kepala sekolah yang berorientasi pada mutu. Fokus masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah  perilaku kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam menerapkan TQM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komitmen perangkat sekolah,  perilaku kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berperan  dalam meningkatkan mutu terpadu (TQM), dan  strategi pimpinan berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan mutu terpadu.

Abstract

Abstract: Having less guarantee on earning fixed monthly wages or salaries triggers private school teachers to manage their free time wisely to run other side jobs to meet the needs. Thus, the majority of private school teachers have another profession which gives impacts to the quality of services to the students. The results showed that work motivation, organizational culture at the school, and the school leadership significantly influence teacher job satisfaction and also indirectly effect to the job performance of teachers. Hence, there is need to improve and develop work motivation, organizational culture and leadership of school principals. By improving the existing work motivation, organizational culture and the leadership of the school principal, the teachers will have better performance. Thus, the school will have competitive advantages compared to others. Abstrak: Dengan tidak terjaminnya upah atau honor yang diperoleh menyebabkan guru sekolah swasta harus pandai-pandai memanfaatkan waktu luang yang ada untuk menjalankan pekerjaan lain untuk mencukupi kebutuhan hidupnya. Dengan demikian mayoritas guru-guru sekolah swasta memiliki profesi selain guru, hal ini berdapak terhadap kualitas pelayanan terhadap siswa Dari hasil ini dapat disimpukan bahwa motivasi kerja, budaya organisasi sekolah, kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja guru dan secara tidak langsung juga signifikan pengarunya terhadap kinerja guru sehingga perlu adanya perbaikan dan peningkatan motivasi kerja, budaya organisasi sekolah dan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah. Karena dari hasil penelitian dapat dilihat variabel tersebut memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kepuasan kinerja dan secara tidak langsung terhadap kinerja guru. Dengan demikian dapat diartikan bahwa jika kinerja guru dapat meningkat maka kualitas pelayanan guru kepada siswa dapat optimal sehingga sekolah memeiliki daya saing dengan sekolah-sekolah lain.

Pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) di Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) di Kabupaten Kudus belum disampaikan secara terpadu. Model manajemen pelatihan IPA terpadu merupakan model yang dikembangkan untuk peningkatan kemampuan guru IPA SMP di Kabupaten Kudus dalam penguasaan IPA terpadu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development. Subyek uji coba adalah guru IPA SMP di Kabupaten Kudus dan team ahli. Jenis data berupa data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Alat untuk mengumpulkan data adalah angket skala likert, angket terbuka, format catatan diskusi, alat tes pre-tes dan pos-tes untuk  aspek kognitif, lembar pengamatan observasi kemampuan profesional pembelajaran IPA terpadu. Untuk menguji kefektifan model mengunakan disain penelitian One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan model manajemen pelatihan IPA terpadu efektif dapat meningkatkan kemampuan profesional guru IPA SMP di Kabupaten Kudus. Disarankan model manajemen pelatihan IPA terpadu dapat menjadi model pelatihan alternatif pada MGMP IPA SMP di Kabupaten yang lain. The learning of natural science at Junior High School in Kudus regency has not been taught in an integrated way. The model of integrated natural science training management is a model developed to improve the competency of junior high natural science teachers in the mastery of integrated natural science. This study uses Research and Development approach. The subject research is junior high natural science teachers and expert teams in Kudus. Qualitative and quantitative data are used. Likert Scale questionnaire, open questionnaire, discussion note format, pre-test and post-test cognitive testing, papers of field observation of professional competency of integrated natural science learning are used to collect data. One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design is occupied to test the effectiveness of the model. The research shows that the model of integrated natural science training management can effectively improve the competency of junior high natural science teachers in Kudus. Thus it is suggested that the model can be applied in MGMPs in other regencies.
