Abstract

This research aimed to find out the learning interest for the History Lessons of students in X class SMA Negeri 1 Bumiayu before and after using PowerPoint media and to find out the effect of PowerPoint media on learning interest in History lessons of Students at SMA Negeri 1 Bumiayu. This type of research was quantitative, using an experimental research method in the form of a pre-experimental design and a one-group pre-test post-test design. The research population was all students in X class SMA Negeri 1 Bumiayu selected using a random sampling technique. Data collection techniques included observation, questioning, documentation, and literature. The data analysis technique used descriptive and inferential analysis techniques. Based on the analysis results, the first test (pre-test) generated an average of 52%, and the second test (post-test) was 68%. Besides the average percentage interest score, the test - t also showed that the value of count -8.479, based on distribution table t, value table for df = 35 was 2.042, and significant values were 0.000 < 0.05. With the value of count < table, it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, which means using PowerPoint media affects students' learning interests at SMA Negeri 1 Bumiayu.

Abstract

Education teaches the understanding of teaching materials and shapes attitudes and the media to preserve the local culture. The cultivation of local wisdom is necessary because students can better understand and love the culture they have. Education teaches the understanding of teaching materials and shapes attitudes and the media to preserve the local culture. The cultivation of local wisdom is necessary because students can better understand and love the culture they have. This research employs a qualitative method with a narrative approach. Informants in this research are history teachers and students of SMA Negeri 1 Pamotan. The techniques for collecting data are observation, interview, and documentation. To test data validity, this research uses data technique triangulation and source triangulation. The data analysis technique is interaction analysis, which consists of data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusions. The results showed that 1) regarding the cultivation of local wisdom values through historical learning, the teachers only develop their knowledge related to local culture. Local wisdom is given more attention in school activities. 2) The implementation of the values of local wisdom is running well. The values of local wisdom include ethics, aesthetics, religion, and society.

Abstract

The purpose of this study: (1) To know the historical themes unearthed by Dalang in Tegal regency. (2) To know how Dalang bequeaths historical values through puppets. (3) To know the obstacles and supports experienced by Dalang in passing on the historical value by a puppet in the Tegal regency. This study used the descriptive qualitative method, collecting data using observation, interview, and documentation. The analytical technique uses an interactive model of analysis. The result of this study shows that (1) The historical themes unheartened by dalang tell about local stories such as the origin of Slawi and out of the ethos of Mahabharata. (2) The messages that want to be delivered by aesthetic elements, and (3) the obstacles faced by puppet shows are the cost to carry on the puppet show, not all people can pay for it, and the support of people who are contentment to historical value and the pleasure about historical values and when dalang are getting older they also get many experiences and knowledge.

Abstract

The research aimed to compare History study material based on Curriculum 1994 and Curriculum 2006 in Senior High Schools in Magelang Regency, to compare the method or learning models of History learning in Senior High Schools in Magelang Regency, to compare learning media for History in Senior High Schools in Magelang Regency, and to compare the evaluation of History learning in Senior High School in Magelang Regency. The object of the research was three senior high schools in Magelang Regency. The research used a descriptive qualitative approach and case study research design. Data collection methods were observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis technique was interactive and consisted of data reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The research shows that History study notes, History learning method, History learning media, and History learning evaluation of Curriculum 1994 and Curriculum 2006 are significantly different during the curriculum implementation in three senior high schools as the location of the study, that is, SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Muntilan, SMA Negeri 1 Grabag, and SMA Pangudi Luhur Van Lith Muntilan.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the implementation of learning history in curriculum 2013 using a scientific approach, to find out what constraints experienced by history teachers in the 2013 curriculum using a scientific approach, and to find out how history teachers overcome obstacles in the 2013 curriculum using a scientific approach This research uses data collection method in the form of observation, interview, and document study. Observation focuses on the implementation of learning using a scientific approach. Document study in this research is the syllabus, RPP, the result of student tasks, and mastery in authentic assessment—technique examination of data validity using triangulation of source and triangulation technique. Data analysis techniques use hypothesis analysis, which is a proposition. The results of this study indicate that in implementing the scientific approach to history, teachers in SMK Negeri 7 Semarang experienced quite complex constraints. The implementation of history learning in the 2013 curriculum uses a scientific approach with 5 M (observing, asking, reasoning, trying, and networking). The obstacles experienced by history teachers in SMK Negeri 7 Semarang are the constraints of time allocation, authentic assessment constraints, and teacher creativity constraints. The solution made by the history teacher at SMK Negeri 7 Semarang is concerned with historical learning materials by reducing aspects of authentic assessment and using varied learning methods so that learning is not monotonous.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is (1) to describe the content of multicultural education on controversial historical material. 2) to explain the implementation of multicultural education on controversial history content material by teachers of history subjects, (3) to describe response toward the implementation of multicultural education on history subjects with controversial issues. This research uses a qualitative method with a phenomenology approach at SMA Negeri 5 Semarang. Informants in this study were teachers, the waka curriculum, and students from the school. In this research, the data collection technique is observation, interview, and documentation. The analysis and presentation of data used are structured and specific analysis—the technique of examination of data validity using triangulation technique and source. The results showed that the learning planning made by the history teacher in SMA Negeri 5 Semarang has included multicultural education, although the curriculum has not been written explicitly. Most Students and teachers already understand the importance of multicultural education and its relation to the subject of contested historical material controversy.

Abstract

The organizers carried out at the Siliwangi University History Education department at the time the professor of 2017 showed that their ability to think historically was still not optimal. This is part of the research results, which show that the index of historical thinking averages 53.6%. This study aimed to study various cooperative learning models of inquiry group type assisted by a Learning Management System (LMS) developed to improve the historical thinking skills of prospective history teachers. The research method is classroom action research. The research results in the first cycle showed that the index of historical thinking averaged 70.4%, and in the second cycle, the average historical result was 82.4%. Based on the results in the first and second cycles, using the investigative group learning model and Edmodo learning media can improve students' historical thinking.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know what multicultural values are implemented in learning history in SMA Negeri 1 Rembang, to know the implementation of multicultural values in SMA Negeri 1 Rembang, and know what constraints faced in instilling multicultural values in SMA Negeri 1 Rembang. This research type is qualitative research. Data collection techniques are observation, interview, and documentation. Data validity uses triangulation and source techniques. Data analysis uses an interactive analysis model. The research results reveal that planting multicultural values in teaching history taught in SMA Negeri 1 Rembang has been done well. The implementation of multicultural values in history learning in SMA Negeri 1 Rembang is not only taught in the classroom but also through out-of-class learning. The curriculum becomes an obstacle to instilling multicultural values in SMA Negeri 1 Rembang, and classroom learning becomes a supporting factor in implementing multicultural values.

Abstract

The study aimed to determine the effect of Kartini sub-material history learning and student perceptions of student attitudes towards Kartini figures in class XI of SMA 2 Rembang in 2018. This type of research is ex post facto research. The results showed that historical learning and student perceptions affected students' attitudes towards Kartini. This is evidenced by the F Test, which obtained an F count greater than Ftable 5.522> 1.653; in the partial test (t test) for the Kartini sub miniate history learning variable (X1) obtained a t count smaller than t table 0.778 1.653, so H2 is accepted. Simultaneously, history learning and student perceptions affect student attitudes towards Kartini's figure of 4.6%. Partially, the influence of historical learning on student attitudes toward the Kartini figure was 0.32%, and the influence of students' perceptions of student attitudes towards the Kartini figure was 4.6%.

Abstract

The Target of this research is to know how to apply the Quiz " Pintu Rahmat" by a class student of X Social Sciences 1 SMA Country 1 Banjarnegara school year 2014 / 2015. This research type is Research of Action Class, which has activity steps consisting of two cycles. Research data was obtained using etiquette and perception with a perception sheet and [pass/through] evaluation tests. The technique used to analyze data is to use descriptive statistical analysis modestly by using mean [count/calculate]). Results of the research show to [pass/through] Quiz " Pintu Rahmat," obtained by the fact the result of learning history mount. The class average value before the research was 76,92, and the total learned value was only 59%. After conducting action in cycle I, the class average value goes up to 80,77, thoroughly learned to reach 67%. In contrast, in cycle II, the natural class average value [is] equal to 81,66, thoroughly learned to reach 78%. This research suggests that Kuis "Pintu Rahmat" must be executed in class because the study model can improve the understanding of the student's results and the live lines of student mount.
