Abstract

This research raises the topic of modern technology in the field of rice fields. The problem in this research is determining the fuzzy inference system algorithm for electronic engineering. The prototype was built by Raspberry Pi and python-based to the internet of things. The objective of this research is to design a new model for the rice field monitoring/control system and display every condition based on the internet of things. So that the hypothesis of this research can answer the phenomena that occur in rice fields, including drought problems, maintained plant conditions. The test results showed that irrigation control automatically runs optimally by scheduling, automatic irrigation control of water pH degree value detection analyzed by fuzzy Tsukamoto method at Z=3.5 defuzzification value for low and high irrigation control, and Z value=1.83 for normal irrigation control. Furthermore, the scheduling of spraying liquid fertilizer obtained the results of duration for 60 min in accordance with the needs of fertilizer dose. Lastly, for monitoring data on the website successfully accessed anywhere from the use of hosting servers and domains. Finally, it can be concluded that fuzzy Tsukamoto's algorithm is appropriate to be applied to the modern rice field system.

Abstract

Penerapan sistem jaringan fiber optic di antaranya adalah jaringan FTTB (Fiber To The building). ACSATA.

Abstract

Indonesia is located on the equator which makes the island irradiated by the sunlight from 10 to 12 hours per day. The use of solar cell panels is generally placed in certain positions without change. For the optimal consumption of solar energy, then we need a system that follows the sun called a solar tracking system. Research the solar tracker automatically moves on an edge 0° - 180° and otherwise. To control or operate solar cells and easier the maintenance process of solar cell panels, then we need a system called IoT (Internet of Things) combine with microcontroller ESP8266 access on the Thingspeak application. The result of this study shows servo motors moved every 1 hour by 20 degrees from 6 am to 5 pm by the solar panels. Equipped with sensors INA219 to know the results of the solar energy that absorbs by the solar cells and shown on the Thingspeak application.

Abstract

Wireless technology is currently growing along with the increasing need for communication in society. This of course must be supported by better and more efficient device specifications, one of which is the antenna. Microstrip antenna is currently one type of antenna that is widely carried out by lecturers and students because of its shape that can be arranged in such a way that it is expected to be more efficient and practical. In this research, a Double E-shaped microstrip antenna with proximity coupling technique will be designed which will be applied in S-Band services. The S-Band service itself is in the 2-4 GHz frequency range which can serve broadband services. The initial stage of the design takes into account the dimensions of the antenna using the applicable formula to obtain suitable dimensions, then optimization of the feed slot and position of the letter E on the antenna patch uses Ansoft HFSS simulation to obtain the best optimization results. From the design results, it is expected to obtain a microstrip antenna in the form of Double E-shaped with Proximity Coupling technique with a working frequency of 2.5 GHz, a return loss of -18.573 dB, a bandwidth of 144 MHz, a VSWR of 1.265 and a gain of 5.8 dB with the results of the omnidirectional radiation pattern being met as expected.

Abstract

This research problem focuses on treating premature babies due to hypothermia so that the baby must be put in an incubator for several days. Conventional intensive care method in premature babies, namely skin-to-skin care method between mother and child. Meanwhile, the latest technological developments, the method is already based on electrical-Internet of Things (IoT) engineering. This research proposes the design of an IoT-based prototype known as a smart incubator. This prototype has been equipped with a real-time monitoring system and system settings using the mamdani fuzzy inference system control method and combined using the Genetic Algorithm (GA) method. The results showed that the ideal temperature range in the smart incubator was 33° C with an accuracy of 99.97% and was in accordance with the fuzzy membership degree in the range of 29° C ≤x≤ 37° C. Furthermore, the ideal relative humidity range in the smart incubator was 60% with an accuracy of 98.60% and was in accordance with the fuzzy membership degree in the range of 59 ≤x≤ 65. Then, the noise range in the smart incubator is 37.9dB to 56.8dB with an accuracy of 96.44% and has been appropriate at the fuzzy membership degree. At a maximum distance of 50cm, it takes 8 seconds for the prototype to detect movement as a safety measure.

Abstract

The DC (Domestic Cooperation) CS (Community Service) program proposes IoT (Internet of Things) training, which aims to educate trainees to get to know the latest internet-based technology supported by accompanying instructors in their fields of expertise based on the approach of published research results, especially in electrical engineering, and conduct educational counseling on variations and models to support IoT. The training participants were students at TLC (Teaching and Learning Centre) in Harapan Bunda, Jakarta. Initial observations showed the participants' interest in IoT technology, so the contribution is support for improving the quality of skilled labor to be aligned with industry needs. This CS method includes showing the results of scientific publications, providing IoT material, simple coding training, and simple practice. This CS activity is expected to make the participants able to understand the concept of IoT and practice the application of IoT in everyday life. The measurement of the percentage of training success is a satisfaction survey questionnaire. The CS activity resulted in a satisfaction percentage of 93%, and it was hoped that the CS program could be carried out regularly and be of benefit to students who need additional skills as a future provision.
