Abstract

Various treatments can cure pockmarks. First, you have to know the cause of the pockmarks and the strength of the pockmarked skin, making it easier to choose the treatment, one of which is dermapen, which uses Plasma from platelets. Test and compare the effectiveness of the derma pen action using Plasma from platelets with the derma pen action on the pockmarked skin surface of female Wistar rats (Rattus Copernicus). This research is a laboratory experiment to compare the effectiveness of the dermapen action using Plasma from platelets with the dermapen action on the pockmarked skin surface of female Wistar rats (Rattus novergicus) using a post-test with control group design or control samples based on treatment groups to analyze the dermapen action using Plasma from platelets with dermapenic action on the surface of rat skin pockmarks. The results showed that the dermapen treatment group with Plasma from platelets at a dose of 10% was more effective in healing cut wounds in white mice than the dermapen treatment group using Plasma from platelets at doses of 2.5% and 5%, respectively. This is because, at a concentration of 10%, blood plasma metabolite compounds from platelets that are applied to wounds already affect the wound. The effect only inhibits microorganisms at small doses, making it less effective in healing wounds. It is recommended that the minimum dose be 10% so that the metabolite compounds in the Plasma from platelets have a healing effect on wounds.

Abstract

This review explores the contrasting roles of machine-driven and human endorsers in advertising campaigns, assessing their ability to engage consumer visual attention. With its ability to tailor content and predict consumer responses, the machine-driven approach has brought new dimensions to advertising, though its influence may differ across various demographic groups. Conversely, human endorsers substantially impact consumer decisions because they can form emotional bonds, enhance authenticity, and build trust. The review encourages a perspective that sees machine-driven and human endorsers not as rivals but as complementary forces, with further studies needed to investigate how to combine these elements best.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to analyze the figures presented in the E-Brochure of the Faculty of Science and Technology at Prima Indonesia using the eye movement patterns of prospective students, to find out if the people displayed represent each study program. The problem is in the 2022 to 2023 academic year was a decrease in the new students by 30%, especially in the Faculty of Science and Technology. Therefore, more specific research must be carried out on the use of E-Brochures to improve the quality of promotions. The visual attention patterns of 80 prospective students were recorded using eye-tracking technology to find out their objective assessment of the figures displayed. The research results indicated a variation in participant’s visual focus on different Regions of Interest (RoI) for each image. For example, in image 1, RoI 3 received the most attention with a dwell time of 2.43 seconds, while in image 2, RoI 2 was the main focus with a dwell time of 1.41 seconds. This data suggests that facial elements tend to attract more attention than properties, although there are exceptions depending on the image's composition. The benefit of this research is improving the quality of the E-Brochure of the Faculty of Science and Technology, Prima Indonesia University so that it pulls the interest of new students.

Abstract

Shopee is known as the e-commerce platform that is most widely used by people in Indonesia. One of the advantages offered by this platform is flash sales on various products at certain times. This study aims to determine the visual attention patterns of shopee users when viewing websites with flash sale captions using eye tracker technology. A total of 63 participants who were divided into two groups based on their experience using shopee were shown four types of products, each of which had a flash sale display and a normal display. There were five regions of interest in each display and two types of functions, first time fixation and Dwell time, were analyzed. This study shows that even though the longest duration was used by participants to view the flash sale description region, the first region viewed by both groups of participants was the product region. We hope that this data can be a reference for e-commerce platform website design to increase attention to the main message.

Abstract

The tobacco industry is a significant obstacle in the effort to control smoking behavior, especially since they are allowed to promote their products to the public, including students. To address this issue, the Ministry of Health developed a smoke-free zone that may be implemented in universities to reduce smoking rates among adolescents. To know the effectiveness of implementing a smoke-free campus policy on smoking behavior control at Universitas Prima Indonesia by assessing aspects of student knowledge and compliance levels. This research is a descriptive quantitative study with a cross-sectional design and uses purposive sampling techniques with the criteria of active smoker students, 74 people in the medical study program of the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry, and Health Sciences at Universitas Prima Indonesia. Data was obtained in February-April by distributing questionnaires directly to student smokers. The results showed that smoking behavior control among students increased in 50 (67.6%) out of 74 respondents. This is supported by the relationship between the level of knowledge and students' attitudes toward smoking behavior control in the smoke-free campus area, as indicated by a p-value<0.05 (0.005<0.05 and 0.001<0.05). This study found that students’ knowledge and attitudes towards smoke-free campus areas are important aspects influencing the effectiveness of the smoke-free campus policy in controlling smoking behavior.

Abstract

Background and aims: Increasing popularity of Internet has exposed our children pornography addiction. As in other types of addiction, it affects a brain region known as prefrontal cortex (PFC), which is important in executive functions and inhibitory control. However, this region was loosely defined, and there was no consensus for that definition. We aimed to use volumetric MRI in finding the defining region of PFC which would be suitable in distinguishing pornography addicted juveniles. Methods: We enrolled 30 juveniles (12-16 y.o.) consisting of 15 pornography addiction and 15 non-addiction subjects. We proposed several models of PFC definition from mix-and-matched subregions, consisting of orbitofrontal (OFC), inferior frontal gyrus (IFG; pars orbitalis, opercularis, and triangularis), dorsolateral PFC (DLPFC), and anterior cingulate (ACC). Suitable PFC definition was defined as models which volume statistically different between both groups. Brain volumetric was measured using 3D-T1 3T MRI images and analyzed using FreeSurfer® for automatic cortical reconstruction and brain segmentation (recon-all command). Results: We found significant differences between groups in 6 models, which mainly included OFC, ACC, and DLPFC, with models devoid of DLPFC had lowest mean differences. Conclusion: The most suitable definition of PFC for pornography addiction study should consist of OFC, ACC, and especially DLPFC. Inferior frontal gyrus pars orbitalis was not necessary for this purpose, but may increase effect size if it is included.
