Abstract

This article  was the result of  a research of literature study sources and impact of microplastic in the marine environment. Plastic debris could make microplasric caused by ultraviolet and give some negative impact for marine environment.   Plastic debris in marine environment has come from industrial and fishing activities (human activities). All of marine environment in the world has contaminated by microplastic, microplastic will give negative impact for marine biota, recent study inform that turtle and fish have high microplastic content in both them.plastics industries should take responsibility for the end-of-life oftheir products by introducing plastic recycling or upgrading programmers.

Abstract

Bioremediation is one of high value and low-cost technologies to solve environmental degradation. In this paper, we made a systematic review of bioremediation utilization for wastewater treatment. This paper aims to describe the current bioremediation technologies, potential microorganisms involved, recent bioremediation treatment research to solve environmental damage and economic comparation of bioremediations processes. The regulatory of heavy metals limitation in drinking water is also reported in this paper. Thus, this paper described comprehensive information on bioremediation in the world and this future research direction.

Abstract

Livestock is a significant contributor to global methane (CH4) emissions, accounting for 18% to 51% of total emissions worldwide. The purpose of this study is to estimate the CH4 emissions from livestock in Jambi Province, using the Tier-1 method recommended by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). The results show that CH4 emissions range from 7,464,728 to 7,833,349 tons per year, with feces management contributing 160,261 to 166,667 tons per year, and buffalo enteric emissions contributing 2,511,135 to 2,616,185 tons per year. These findings highlight the significant impact of the livestock sector in Jambi Province on global warming. Moreover, this study presents a brief overview of mitigation strategies that can be implemented to reduce CH4 emissions from the livestock sector.

Abstract

Batik is a cultural heritage of Indonesia in the form of textile crafts. The batik industry uses a lot of dyes that cause environmental pollution. The study results showed that Artisanal Small Scale Industry batik has yet to perform batik wastewater management to a technical standard. Design planning for batik wastewater management considers the conditions of wastewater discharge, dyes, characteristics of wastewater, the location to be served, and the location of Waste Water Treatment Plant. The design of the batik Waste Water Treatment Plant building is an equalization unit with dimensions of 4.6 m long, 2.3 m wide, and 4 m high, an anaerobic unit with dimensions of 10.5 m long, 4 m wide and 3.5 m high, a filtration unit with a diameter of 8 inches, 40 inches tall, control tub with dimensions of length 8 m, width 4 m, and height 3.5 m, and sludge drying bed with dimensions of length 15 m, width 15 m and height 1 m. The processing unit obtained water pollutant concentrations in the processed wastewater of 2.426 mg/L BOD, 0.543 mg/L of COD, and 0.0115 mg/L of TSS. This concentration shows that the WWTP design optimally reduce the pollutants in batik wastewater.

Abstract

Fly ash and bottom ash are solid waste from coal combustion in the operating system of Steam Power Plant (PLTU). The research was conducted by combining fly ash and bottom ash with an adhesive consisting of portland cement. Based on the tests performed the maximum mixture obtained with cement samples, fly ash and bottom ash is 1: 2: 2. Paving blocks made from fly ash and bottom ash have compressive strength values resulting in compressive strength values of 50.52 MPa. This value indicates that the sample is in the class of paving blocks A. Paving Block made from fly ash and bottom ash also has a very good average air absorption value, in a combination of suitable cement mixtures, fly ash and bottom ash (1: 2: 2) the average air absorption value is still 5.06%. This value shows that the sample is in class B paving blocks.

Abstract

Conducted at the University of Jambi's Teaching and Research Farm in Mendalo Indah Village, this three-month study from September to November 2022 utilized a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with a single variable: rubber factory wastewater sludge compost application. Five treatment levels were tested: a0 = 25 g NPKMg dose, a1 = 100 g rubber factory wastewater sludge compost + 20 g NPKMg dose, a2 = 200 g rubber factory wastewater sludge compost + 15 g NPKMg dose, a3 = 300 g rubber factory wastewater sludge compost + 10 g NPKMg dose, and a4 = 400 g rubber factory wastewater sludge compost + 5 g NPKMg dose. Statistical analysis, employing ANOVA and the Honestly Significant Difference (HSD) test, determined treatment effects at a 5% significance level. The study assessed various rubber plant growth parameters, such as live seedling percentage, shoot emergence, budded shoot height, leaf count, stem diameter, root count, shoot and root dry weight. Notably, the application of 400 g of rubber factory wastewater sludge compost significantly influenced plant growth, specifically enhancing shoot emergence, stem diameter growth, and budded shoot height.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mnganalisis potensi wilayah dan sumberdaya manusia sebagai pusat pelatihan atletik di Kabupaten Kerinci. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kabupaten Kerinci yang dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei - Agustus 2018. Penelitian dilakukan pada wilayah Kecamatan Kayu Aro. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh masyarakat yang berusia 7 sampai dengan 21 tahun. Metode pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cluster random sampling yang akan dijadikan cluster. Berdasarkan matriks EFAS dan IFAS dapat diketahui bahwa faktor eksternal dan faktor internal berada dalam posisi kuadran II yaitu didapat bahwa faktor internal berjumlah 2,910 dan faktor eksternal berjumlah 2.881 (2,910, 2,881), seperti terlihat pada gambar 4.1 bahwa hal ini membuktikan Kecamatan Kayu Aro memiliki kekuatan namun terkendala oleh ancaman yang berada di daerah lain sehingga harus memanfaatkan peluang dengan maksimal untuk mengatasi ancaman, dengan cara menjalin hubungan kerjasama yang baik dengan peemerintah daerah dan pemerintah pusat dan pihak-pihak terkait atau stakeholder keolahragaan, memaksimalkan tenaga keolahragaan yang memiliki kompetensi dengan latar belakang pendidikan sarjana olahraga supaya dapat memberikan kontribusi yang positif untuk pembinaan olahraga prestasi

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan teknik dasar yang dimiliki oleh pemain sepak bola SSB Pratama Kabupaten Batanghari. Penelitian dilakukan di lapangan sepakbola SSB Pratama Kabupaten Batanghari dengan jumlah pemain 24 orang. Metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif digunakan pada penelitian ini mengguanakan uji normalitas. Berdasarkan uji normalitas hasil tes dengan uji lilifoers dari keseluruhan data diperoleh hasil normal serta perhitungan pada tiap data diperoleh data passing dengan nilai 6,08 poin dengan kategori sedang, data dribbling dengan nilai 19,6 detik dengan kategori sedang, dan data shooting dengan nilai 12,6 poin dengan kategori baik. Teknik dasar sepakbola pemain SSB Pratama Kabupaten Batanghari termasuk dalam kategori sedang dan baik, yang dimana teknik passing dan dribbling dalam kategori sedang, dan teknik shooting dalam kategori baik.

Abstract

In recent decades, healthy lifestyle has occurred around the world. Everyone has been doing daily monotones routines such as working in industrial activities. Sport activities are new phenomena in twenty-first century to make everyone keep health. Sport could make our body is healthy, avoid heart disease caused by blockage of blood vessels. This article will describe how sport can be managed and governed to promote positive health outcomes. Sports are physical activity and give an impact like healthy, sports program must accessible, align with community needs, empowerment and encourage participant leadership. Sport should accessible for everyone in the world, children, young, adults, old man, sport including every age to get health and refreshing. The volume of regular physical activity has been frequently and consistently related to health benefits. Sport and exercise are contributors to the health of nations, the relation is curvilinear with the exact parameters of the curve varying for different health benefits
