Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Archival Governance Policy in managing dynamic records at the Procurement Unit of PT Asuransi Jasa Indonesia using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model. The background of this research is based on the importance of systematic dynamic records management in supporting accountability, transparency, and audit readiness in procurement activities characterized by high document intensity. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through indepth interviews, observation, and documentation studies involving employees directly engaged in procurement records management. The findings indicate that, in terms of context, the policy is normatively aligned with the unit’s operational needs, and in the product aspect, it has contributed positively to improving document organization, quality, and audit preparedness. However, within the input and process dimensions, several challenges remain, including disparities in employee understanding, limited physical archival space, suboptimal utilization of the Document Management System (DMS), and the absence of structured and continuous monitoring mechanisms. The study concludes that the effectiveness of policy implementation is not solely determined by the existence of formal regulations, but also by human resource readiness, infrastructure support, procedural consistency, and systematic evaluation mechanisms.

Abstract

This study aims to develop flipped classroom-based teaching materials to enhance students' comprehension skills in English Correspondence, a critical course for fostering professional written communication in international business contexts. The research used a Research and Development (R&D) approach, specifically the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Expert validation of the materials yielded a high validity score of 86%. A small-group trial yielded an 84% practicality score, indicating the usability of the materials. Effectiveness was measured through a pretest and posttest, revealing a moderate improvement in student comprehension with an N-gain score of 0.54. These findings suggest that the flipped classroom model enhances students' engagement, supports independent learning, and strengthens both theoretical and practical understanding of English business correspondence. The developed materials demonstrate the potential of flipped classrooms in improving comprehension skills and learning outcomes in English Correspondence courses. This research highlights the practical implications of innovative teaching strategies in higher education.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop flipped classroom-based teaching materials for the English Correspondence course to improve students’ comprehension of professional written communication. The research was motivated by the limitations of conventional lecture-centered instruction, which often restricts student engagement and provides insufficient opportunities for independent and practice-oriented learning. A research and Development (R&D) approach employing the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) was applied to systematically design, validate, and evaluate the instructional product. Data were collected through needs analysis, expert validation, student response questionnaires, and effectiveness testing using a pretest–posttest design. Expert validation results indicated a validity level of 86%, categorized as very valid, while practicality testing showed an 84% score, demonstrating that the materials were accessible and supportive of independent learning. Effectiveness testing revealed a significant improvement in students’ performance, with mean scores increasing from 58.51 (pretest) to 80.54 (posttest) and an N-gain value of 0.54, indicating moderate learning improvement. These findings suggest that flipped classroom-based teaching materials effectively enhance students’ conceptual understanding and practical competence in English business correspondence. The study implies that integrating validated digital instructional materials with student-centered learning models can strengthen technology-supported pedagogy and provide a scalable framework for improving professional communication learning in higher education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of gadget use on learning motivation through gamification among Office Management students at SMK Negeri 48 Jakarta. The study employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to Office Management students at SMK Negeri 48 Jakarta and analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the SmartPLS 4 software. The variables examined consisted of gadget use as the independent variable, gamification as the intervening variable, and learning motivation as the dependent variable. The results revealed that gadget use had a positive and significant effect on gamification, with a path coefficient of 0.785 and a p-value of 0.000 (< 0.05). Gadget use also had a positive and significant effect on learning motivation, with a path coefficient of 0.557 and a p-value of 0.000 (< 0.05). Furthermore, gamification had a positive and significant effect on learning motivation, with a path coefficient of 0.430 and a p-value of 0.000 (< 0.05). The findings also demonstrated that gamification positively and significantly mediated the effect of gadget use on learning motivation. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the effective use of gadgets supported by gamification can enhance students' learning motivation. Therefore, teachers are encouraged to optimize the use of gadgets through gamification-based learning strategies to create a more interactive, engaging, and motivating learning environment.

Abstract

Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4) emphasizes the provision of inclusive and quality education. However, many educational institutions, especially vocational schools in developing countries, continue to face challenges in implementing sustainable human resource management (Sustainable HRM). This study aims to examine the influence of digital HRM, Green HRM, teacher well-being, inclusivity, and sustainable leadership on Sustainable HRM and its contribution to the achievement of SDG 4 in Jakarta, Indonesia. Methods: This research employed a quantitative explanatory design with a causal approach. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire distributed to 60 teachers from two vocational schools that had adopted digital HRM and sustainability practices. The analysis utilized Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4.0 to test the validity, reliability, and causal relationships among constructs. Findings: The results revealed that sustainable leadership had the strongest positive effect on Sustainable HRM (β = 0.45, p < 0.001), followed by digital HRM (β = 0.35, p < 0.001), Green HRM (β = 0.28, p < 0.001), teacher well-being (β = 0.22, p = 0.004), and inclusivity (β = 0.19, p = 0.013). Moreover, Sustainable HRM significantly influenced the achievement of SDG 4 (β = 0.52, p < 0.001). The model accounted for 67% of the variance in Sustainable HRM and 52% in SDG 4, demonstrating strong explanatory power. Conclusion: The study provides empirical evidence that sustainable leadership, digitalization, and environmentally responsible HRM practices are critical in strengthening Sustainable HRM within vocational schools. In turn, Sustainable HRM substantially contributes to achieving SDG 4 by promoting inclusive and high-quality education. Policy implications highlight the importance of enhancing teacher welfare, inclusivity programs, and Green HRM initiatives to advance educational sustainability in Indonesia.
