Abstract

This mentoring activity aimed to improve the quality of Al-Qur'an memorisation learning by preparing and implementing the Tahfizh Lesson Plan (RPP) at the Madrasah. The main problem addressed was the lack of structured tahfizh learning tools, which led to less focused learning activities and to memorization outcomes being measured unsystematically. This activity employed a descriptive qualitative method with a participatory strategy involving teacher mentoring, classroom observation, documentation, and pretest-posttest activities with 25 students in the tahfizh program. The results showed improvements in students' memorization ability, recitation discipline, and consistency in muroja'ah. In addition, teachers demonstrated greater readiness, confidence, and competence in managing tahfizh learning, as evidenced by the prepared lesson plan. These findings indicate that a well-structured Tahfizh Lesson Plan can serve as a sustainable learning tool to guide teachers and improve the effectiveness of memorization activities. The implication of this activity is the need for consistent implementation of the Tahfizh RPP and continuous teacher mentoring, which can be replicated in other madrasas to strengthen the quality of Al-Qur'an memorization learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the differentiation and positioning of Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) through the internalization of distinctive values as a Unique Selling Proposition (USP) to enhance the competitiveness of educational institutions. The method used was a qualitative approach with a case study design, through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation analysis of leaders, teachers, and students. The results indicate that the differentiation of Islamic boarding schools lies in the strength of distinctive values internalized in the organizational culture, such as spirituality, discipline, and integrity. These values serve as USPs that shape the institution's image and increase public trust. Furthermore, transformational leadership contributes to knowledge management, engagement strategies, and confidence building among Islamic boarding school residents, thus creating a healthy competitive culture. The implications of this study emphasize that the internalization of distinctive values must be strategically integrated into institutional management as a competitive advantage. This is crucial for strengthening the positioning of Islamic boarding schools amidst increasingly dynamic educational competition.

Abstract

This research aims to understand how strategic leadership plays a role in strengthening the resilience of human resources (HR) in Madrasah Diniyah. This study departs from the phenomenon of the gap between the ideal concept of strategic leadership and practice in Islamic educational institutions. Many institutions still tend to focus on administrative aspects, so they are not optimal in building resilient and adaptive human resources. This condition is also influenced by the limitations of leadership competence, the lack of integration between spiritual values and modern management, and the weak organizational culture. On the other hand, Madrasah Diniyah actually shows a different condition, where educators still have high commitment, are active in developing themselves, are able to adapt, and maintain collaboration despite facing various limitations and demands for change. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. Data is collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, then analyzed through a process of reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show that strategic leadership plays an important role in building human resource resilience through clarity of vision, consistent communication, and the inculcation of institutional values. In addition, leaders also encourage capacity development, adaptability, and a collaborative work culture. The implications of this study confirm that strengthening human resource resilience is not enough only through a managerial approach, but needs to be combined with spiritual values and organizational culture so that the sustainability and quality of educational institutions can be maintained in a sustainable manner
