Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between waiting time for health services and patient satisfaction in the outpatient department of a hospital in East Jakarta. Patient satisfaction is considered an essential indicator of service quality and overall performance in health care institutions. Excessive waiting time often becomes one of the main complaints from patients and can negatively influence their perception of the quality of care received. Using a cross-sectional design with a quantitative approach, the research examines whether prolonged waiting time is associated with decreased satisfaction among patients receiving outpatient services. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed to identify the strength and direction of the relationship. The findings indicate that waiting time plays a significant role in shaping patient satisfaction, suggesting that efforts to minimize delays are crucial for improving health care delivery, enhancing patient experience, and strengthening institutional credibility.

Abstract

Work discipline is essential to sustain nursing productivity and hospital performance. This study examines the association between work discipline and nurses’ work productivity in inpatient care at a private hospital in Jakarta. A cross-sectional design was applied with total sampling of staff nurses. Data were collected using validated Likert-type questionnaires for discipline and productivity, then categorized into high and low levels based on central tendency. Bivariate analysis employed an appropriate chi-square procedure and effect size to test the relationship. The findings indicate a meaningful positive association: nurses with higher discipline tend to report higher productivity, reflected in punctual attendance, adherence to standard procedures, and complete documentation of care. The study recommends strengthening managerial supervision, feedback loops, and fair scheduling, alongside continuous education on standard operating procedures. Enhancing discipline culture is expected to raise individual productivity and contribute to better service quality and organizational outcomes in Indonesian hospital settings over time.

Abstract

Kota Bekasi merupakan kota dengan jumlah pelaku UMKM makanan minuman terbesar kedua di Jawa Barat. Bekasi memiliki potensi yang besar dalam pengembangan UMKM serta berubah menjadi industri yang menjanjikan. Namun dalam perkembangannya usaha di bidang makanan dan minuman masih ada hambatan dalam pengelolaan UMKM. Permasalahan yang sering terjadi adalah persaingan usaha yang semakin ketat dan tidak sehat, terlebih jika restoran yang berada di lokasi yang sama memilki menu yang serupa sedangkan pelaku usaha UMKM belum mendaftarkan merek dagangnya. Dalam rangka mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dimaksudkan untuk mengedukasi mengenai aturan-aturan dan program pemerintah dalam perlindungan kekayaan intelektual (hak merek) bagi pengusaha UMKM, khususnya UMKM mitra (Dapur Mantul). Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan metode sosialisasi materi, diskusi, dan wawancara secara langsung dengan peserta. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara lebih lanjut dengan Dapur Mantul, materi yang didapat dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat tersebut sangat relevan dan memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik dalam peningkatan manajemen usaha. Usaha yang telah dijalankan Dapur Mantul telah cukup lama berlangsung, namun belum adanya merek dapat berpotensi menjadi ancaman persaingan usaha tidak sehat. Untuk itu, Dapur Mantul berencana akan menyempurnakan logo usaha dan mendaftarkan merek ke Kementerian Hukum dan Hak Asasi Manusia. Harapannya, kegiatan ini juga dapat memberikan pemahaman yang lebih serta memotivasi peserta lainnya yang memiliki usaha agara dapat menyusun manajemen bisnis yang lebih baik, salah satunya dengan mendaftarkan merek usaha.

Abstract

The present study is for achieve also improving the education and information provided to hiv-aids cadre and patients. The existence of patients with hiv-aids is one of the communities that is difficult to reach, so health cadres and volunteers should have the ability to prevent hiv-aids and related health knowledge, which should be above average. The main and most important task of health cadres and or volunteers is to reach community groups with high health risks, and difficult to find by health workers. This study aims to gradually increase the capacity of health management skills, especially healthcare interpersonal speaking speech for volunteers and health cadres. The research was conducted using the method or approach of capacity building and PRA (Participatory Rapid Appraissal). Mentoring activities that have been carried out for 3 consecutive years in August 2019, September-October 2020, and October 2021 during the covid-19 pandemic. This activity was attended by more than 20 cadres, health volunteers, and administrators from the NGO Jakarta Plus Center (JPC) Foundation, both Jakarta in 2019-2020 and Cirebon in 2021. The training time during capacity building was about 1 hour for each topic, with presentations, simulations and role plays. in field assistance in 2020 and 2021 for a full day. The method of measuring understanding and knowledge is done by pre-test and post-test, before and after the activity. The results of the research show that although there is a statistically significant difference between participants knowledge during the initial test and at the end of the training, the data shows an improvement in participants' knowledge in mentoring and outreach activities. It is necessary to follow up research activities in the following years in the form of research on more detailed field assistance on disaster management, special community communication field education for the empowerment of volunteers and cadres at the JPC Foundation during the pandemic and preparations after it.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Stres kerja merupakan kondisi psikologis yang dapat berdampak negatif terhadap kinerja tenaga kesehatan, khususnya perawat. Tuntutan kerja tinggi, sistem shift, serta beban emosional dari pasien dan keluarga dapat memengaruhi kinerja jika tidak dikelola dengan baik.Tujuan: Mengetahui hubungan stres kerja dengan kinerja perawat rawat inap di RS Hermina Karawang tahun 2025.Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan studi kuantitatif analitik dengan desain cross-sectional. Sampel adalah seluruh perawat rawat inap sebanyak 31 orang yang diambil dengan total sampling. Stres kerja diukur menggunakan DASS-21, sedangkan kinerja dinilai melalui Key Performance Indicators (KPI) rumah sakit. Analisis data menggunakan Fisher’s Exact Test.Hasil: Sebagian besar responden mengalami stres ringan (90,3%) dan sebagian kecil stres berat (9,7%). Sebanyak 71,0% perawat memiliki kinerja baik. Tidak ditemukan hubungan signifikan antara stres kerja dengan kinerja perawat (p=0,195). Namun, perawat dengan stres berat memiliki risiko 2,6 kali lebih besar untuk memiliki kinerja tidak baik dibandingkan perawat dengan stres ringan (PR=2,667; 95% CI: 0,956–7,43).Kesimpulan: Tidak terdapat hubungan signifikan antara stres kerja dengan kinerja perawat rawat inap. Faktor lain seperti kepemimpinan, motivasi, dan lingkungan kerja kemungkinan lebih berperan. Dukungan organisasi dan pelatihan manajemen stres direkomendasikan.

Abstract

The study was conducted to describe user satisfaction of web-based technology applications (user satisfaction), the use of web-based technology applications (application use) and the influence of user satisfaction on application use. Data collection used a questionnaire in the form of a Google form distributed to 30 respondents. The results of the regression test on the user satisfaction and application use variables obtained a constant value (a) of 7.388 and a user satisfaction coefficient of 0.569 so that the regression model is: Y = a + bX or 7.388 + 0.569X. A positive constant value of 7.388 indicates a positive influence of the user satisfaction variable or if the user satisfaction variable increases, the application use variable will also increase. The regression coefficient X of 0.569 states that if user satisfaction increases by 1 unit, then application use (Y) will increase by 0.569 or 56.9%. The results of the regression test on the user satisfaction and application use variables also obtained an F count of 4.209 and a significance level of 0.007. These results also indicate that the regression equation can be used to predict the application use variable. User satisfaction can be used to measure the success of using information technology-based applications (application use) and has a strong influence on application use.
