Abstract

This research aims to find out the effect of classroom management on the learning outcomes of mathematics in algebra form material. The question is whether there is an influence of classroom management on the results of mathematics learning in algebra form material? This research method uses a descriptive approach with a quantitative method by knowing the value of the influence of classroom management on students' mathematics learning outcomes in algebra form material. Data was obtained using a questionnaire. The written questionnaire instrument consists of 10 questions on the influence of classroom management and 10 questions on the results of students' mathematics learning in algebra form material. Data analysis techniques using descriptive statistics. The results of the study show that the value of the influence of classroom management on students' mathematics learning outcomes in the form of material algebra obtained an average percentage of scores of 88.34% and 84.83% in the category of excellent. Meanwhile, the maximum value of the influence of classroom management on the mathematics learning outcomes of class X students is 91.72% and 91.37% in the very good category. This shows that the value of the influence of classroom management has a strong relationship with the results of students' mathematics learning in algebra form material.

Abstract

This study aims to see the influence of the problem-based teaching learning model on reasoning abilities and the results of mathematical learning in the materials of the two-variable linear equation system in class X of SMK Swasta Dewi Sartika Bilah. This research is quantitative research with a Quasi-experimental approach using a Pre-Test-Post-Test Control Group Design research design. The population in this study is all students of class X which consists of 3 classes namely X-TBSM, X-TKJ, While the sample in this study is class X-TKJ which consists of 30 students as an experimental class, and class X-OTKP. consisting of 30 students as a control class with a sampling technique that is Simple Random Sampling. The data collection technique used in this research is a test to obtain data on mathematical reasoning abilities and mathematical learning outcomes. The results of the data analysis process prove that there is a significant influence with the application of the problem-based teaching learning model on reasoning abilities and the results of mathematical learning in the materials of the two-variable linear equation system.

Abstract

Learning in the modern era demands learning based on KBAT, literacy skills, character education, and 4C (critical, creative, collaborative, and collaborative), all of which can be achieved through the development of E-LKPD based on KBAT combined with critical thinking skills indicators. The purpose of this study is to produce an E-LKPD product using KBAT-based questions, to determine whether the KBAT-based E-LKPD is suitable for the material of the Pythagoras theorem, and to determine the student's reaction to the created KBAT-based E-LKPD. . This refers to the ADDIE model. This study involves eighth grade students of SMP N 2 Utara Province who are the subject of this study and the object of this study is E-LKPD using KBAT based questions. Student questionnaires and confirmation sheets were used in this study. This study obtained the results which are: (1) The feasibility of E-LKPD using KBAT-based questions by media experts is in the feasible category (80.00) and material experts are also in the feasible category (77.5); and (2) Student response to E-LKPD using KBAT-based questions is in the good category with an average of 81.1%. Thus, this study shows that E-LKPD using KBAT-based questions can be used as media in the learning and teaching process.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the Think Pair Share (TPS) cooperative learning model combined with the Group Advisor strategy on students' mathematics learning achievement at MTs Al-Ittihad. The research method used is an experiment with a pre-post-test design in one group. Data was collected through mathematics learning achievement tests given before and after treatment, as well as interviews to obtain qualitative data about students' experiences when applying this learning model. Data analysis was conducted using a t-test to determine the difference in learning achievement before and after treatment. The results of the study show that there is a significant increase in student mathematics learning achievement after the application of the TPS model with the Group Counseling strategy. This finding shows that the application of the TPS cooperative learning model with the Group Advisor strategy is effective in improving students' mathematics learning achievement at MTs Al-Ittihad. This study provides empirical evidence that the TPS cooperative learning model with the Group Advisor strategy can be considered by teachers as an effective alternative in efforts to improve the quality of mathematics learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of self-management on students' mathematics learning outcomes. This research is classified as a quantitative ex post facto type. The instrument used is a self-management questionnaire consisting of 20 statements, as well as odd semester report card data as an indicator to measure students' mathematics learning outcomes. The results of simple linear regression indicate that there is an influence of self-management on the mathematics learning outcomes of eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 2 Rantau Utara.

Abstract

The ability and skills of teachers in classroom management significantly influence the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process. A teacher can create a positive and enjoyable learning environment for students. Classroom management is the task performed by the teacher responsible for teaching activities to ensure that everything runs smoothly and effectively. In carrying out their roles as educators, mentors, leaders, and trainers of students, a teacher must understand and be aware of various aspects of behavior, particularly their students' behavior. Elementary school students have characteristics such as a love for play, a tendency to be active, a preference for working in groups, and a desire to experience, do, and demonstrate things directly. However, many teachers still do not fully understand the meaning of these characteristics. Therefore, further understanding is needed to deepen teachers' insights into classroom management skills that align with the characteristics of elementary school students. This study uses a literature review approach, with data collection based on findings from various journal sources and books related to the topic. The study concludes that the skills teachers must possess to manage classrooms in elementary schools include: 1) Understanding Child Development; 2) Effective Communication Skills; 3) Time Management; and 4) Understanding Individual Needs.

Abstract

Matematika merupakan mata pelajaran yang sulit dipahami dibandingkan dengan mata pelajaran lain, adanya inovasi pembelajaran menjadi solusi yang dapat membantu siswa untuk mudah memahami pelajaran matematika. Penggunaan media pembelajaran secara kreatif dapat memberikan peluang siswa untuk belajar lebih banyak sesuai dengan tujuan pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitan ini yaitu: 1) Untuk mendapatkan pemahaman tentang pengembangan Aplikasi P MATH sebagai media pembelajaran matematika pada materi teorema phytagoras. 2) Untuk mengidentifikasi hasil dan pengembangan Aplikasi P MATH sebagai media pembelajaran metematika pada materi teorema phytagoras. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode (R&D), atau biasa dikenal dengan penelitian untuk mengembangkan produk atau menyempurnakannya. Hasil dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa validasi dari ahli materi dan ahli media dengan penilaian skor rata-rata menyatakan sangat baik dan bisa digunakan dalam belajar dan pembelajaran, dan hasil yang diperoleh dari tanggapan siswa dengan uji coba skala kecil dengan skor rata-rata menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi P MATH baik digunakan dalam belajar dan pembelajaran.

Abstract

The purpose and problem formulation of this research is to find out whether realistic mathematics learning assisted by google classroom can improve students' communication skills and independence. This research method is descriptive quantitative research. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Pangkat in February-March 2021 in the even semester of the 2020/2021 learning year. The sample in this study were 25 students who were taken from the total population of data and could represent the entire population with the sample collection technique, namely the random sampling technique. The instruments used were tests and questionnaires with the data analysis technique using multiple regression tests. The results of this study were tested with multiple correlation test which resulted in a significant value of 0.011 < 0.05 and F counting 5.663 > F table 3.42. With an increase in communication skills and student independence simultaneously (simultaneously) to variable Y is 34%. So it can be concluded that there is an increase in students' communication skills and independence through realistic mathematics learning (PMR) assisted by google classroom.

Abstract

Kegiatan penelitian ini difokuskan pada peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan Self-Efficacy matematis siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan pendekatan Open Ended di MTs Negeri Rantauprapat. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di MTs Negeri Rantauprapat. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain kelompok kontrol non-ekivalen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari seluruh siswa kelas VIII melalui teknik Purposive Sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri dari tes kemampuan awal matematika, tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif, dan angket Self-Efficacy. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa yang diajar menggunakan pembelajaran matematika dengan pendekatan Open-Ended lebih baik daripada yang diajar dengan pembelajaran konvensional, (2) peningkatan Self Efficacy siswa yang diajar menggunakan pembelajaran matematika dengan pendekatan Open-Ended lebih baik daripada yang diajar dengan pembelajaran konvensional, (3) tidak terdapat interaksi antara pendekatan pembelajaran dengan kemampuan awal matematika siswa terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa, dan (4) tidak terdapat interaksi antara pendekatan pembelajaran dengan kemampuan awal matematika siswa terhadap peningkatan Self Efficacy siswa. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian pendekatan Open-Ended dapat direkomendasikan menjadi salah satu pendekatan pembelajaran yang digunakan di sekolah utamanya untuk mencapai kompetensi berpikir kreatif dan Self Efficacy.

Abstract

Sabun cuci piring merupakan salah satu kebutuhan dalam rumah tangga yang mengandung bahan aktif sehingga mampu melarutkan lemak dan mengangkat sisa makanan dari permukaan alat makan. Sabun cuci piring juga digunakan oleh hampir setiap lapisan masyarakat untuk keperluan mencuci tangan hingga mencuci piring dan peralatan dapur. Hal inilah yang membuat sabun cuci piring memiliki nilai pasar yang luas. Adapun tujuan sosialisasi ini dilakukan adalah untuk meningkatakan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat Desa Pematang, Kecamatan Na IX – X, Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Utara terkhusus kaum ibu – ibu guna mendorong kemandirian ekonomi untuk mengembangkan Home Industri lokal di desanya. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode sosialisasi dan diskusi mengenai bahan baku, prosedur kerja dan perhitungan biaya produksi pembuatan sabun cuci piring. Hasil dari kegiatan sosialisasi pemahaman sabun cuci piring ini adalah masyarakat Desa Pematang, Kecamatan Na IX – X, Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Utara menjadi paham mengenai bahan – bahan yang digunakan dalam pembuatan sabun cuci piring guna mengoptimalkan pengembangan ekonomi kreatif dan Home Industri
