Abstract

Riau Province is one of the regions known for its plantation products, especially in the oil palm sector, so that Riau Province and regional districts focus on oil palm plants as the main commodity of plantations in Riau. Based on data from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Riau Province, the annual production of oil palm plantations, especially smallholder plantations in Riau province has always increased. So is the demand for world CPO. But sometimes the selling price of oil palm fresh fruit bunches (FFB) for smallholder plantations always changes due to many influential factors. With the Artificial Neural Network approach, the Backpropagation algorithm we conduct training and testing of the time series variables that affect the data, namely data on the area of oil palm plantations in Riau Province; Total palm oil production in Riau Province; Palm Oil Productivity in Riau Province; Palm Oil Exports in Riau Province and Average World CPO Prices. Then price predictions will be made in the future. Based on the results of the training and testing, the best Artificial Neural Network (ANN) architecture model was obtained with 9 input layers, 5 hidden layers and 1 output layer. The output of RMSE 0000699 error value and accuracy percentage is 99.97% so that it can make price predictions according to the given target value.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi pada saat ini semakin hari semakin meningkat,manusia selalu ingin menerapkan sebuah alat ataupun teknologi yang dapat membantu pekerjaan manusia,sehinga teknologi menjadi kebutuhan bagi manusia. Air dibutuhkan bagi tanaman untuk pertumbuhan, selain digunakan pada proses fotosintesis, air juga dimanfaatkan oleh tanaman untuk melarutkan mineral yang diserap akar dari tanah sebagai proses perkembangan tamanaman tersebut. Penyiraman tanaman secara rutin dapat menjaga serta merawat tanaman agar dapat tumbuh dengan baik. Penyiraman tanaman secara otomatis menggunakan perangkat NodeMCU ESP8266 memungkinkan user untuk mengontrol dan memonitor alat penyiraman tanaman berbasis IoT. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan sistem penyiraman tanaman otomatis berbasis IOT bekerja dengan baik. Sistem yang telah dibuat mampu memantau penyiraman otomatis secara realtime dan menampilkan status pompa air untuk 3 kondisi yang di kirimkan oleh sensor kelembapan tanah.Penelitian ini bertujuan Untuk mempermudah proses penyiraman tanaman dan mempermudah para petani dalam mengecek tanaman yang Di jaganya. Sehingga petani terhindar dari Kelalaian dalam menjaga tanaman dan tamanan pun dapat tumbuh Subur dengan asupan air yang diberi secara otomatis. Penelitian ini terdiri dari Mikrokontroler Node MCU ESP8266, Soil Moisture Sensor,Relay,Kabel Jumper dan Pompa. Hasil penelitian menujukkan sistem penyiraman tanaman otomatis berjalan dengan baik dan mampu melakukan monitoring kondisi kadar air dalam tanah dan status pompa air.

Abstract

Pendidikan Tinggi Islam di Indonesia telah mengikuti dinamisasi perubahan sejalan dengan perubahan zaman, seperti dengan cara reformasi kurikulum dan revisi visinya untuk menjadi lembaga pendidikan yang modern. Tantangan global untuk mewujudkan sustainable development goals mengharuskan perguruan tinggi mengambil peran sentral. Mengembangkan perguruan tinggi baru merupakan suatu tantangan berat yang harus dihadapi oleh pengelola. Berbagai upaya dilakukan untuk menemukan strategi jitu agar perguruan tinggi yang telah didirikan dapat berkembang sesuai dengan harapan. Menyikapi tantangan yang tidak mudah tersebut, Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi Bisnis Islam (STIEBI) Al-Azhar memandang perlu untuk merumuskan strategi terutama strategi promosi pengembangan perguruan tinggi yang mendukung untuk memaksimalkan pencapaian target penerimaan mahasiswa baru. Pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan di STIEBI Al-Azhar sebagai bentuk respon terhadap kebutuhan perguruan tinggi tersebut dalam menghimpun berbagai informasi tentang pengembangan perguruan tinggi. Kegiatan diikuti pembina yayasan, pejabat struktural dan dosen STIEBI Al-Azhar Bukittinggi yang berjumlah 8 orang dengan menggunakan metode diskusi. Kegiatan in merumuskan pelaksanaan promosi kepada masyarakat dan sekolah-sekolah melalui pola kemitraan.

Abstract

At SMK Taruna Pekanbaru in the Basic Electronics subject, there are several obstacles experienced in learning such as a lack of interest and enthusiasm for student learning, the learning method used still uses the lecture method, and the learning media still fixated on using PowerPoint. The lack of use of varied and interesting learning media makes students feel bored and difficult to understand the basic lessons of electricity and electronics. Based on these problems, this development research aims to produce interactive learning media with Lectora Inspire on basic electricity and electronics material and to describe the feasibility of learning media with Lectora Inspire on basic electricity and electronics materials for class X TAV SMK Taruna Pekanbaru. The method used in this research is research and development (R&D). The development model used in the development of this interactive learning media is ADDIE. This research produces a product in the form of basic electrical electronics learning media for class X TAV students at SMK Taruna Pekanbaru. This basic electronics learning media was developed using the Lectora Inspire application. Learning media for basic electricity and electronics in terms of material aspects and benefits are categorized as good from the validation of material experts to be used as learning media for basic electricity and electronics. Based on the validation of media experts in terms of two aspects, namely the display aspect and the programming aspect, it is categorized as very good for use as a basic learning medium for electricity and electronics. As well as the teacher's assessment of three aspects, namely content quality and learning objectives, technical quality, and instructional quality which are categorized as good.

Abstract

Universitas Muhammadiyah Riau is really need the support of technology information in order to facilitate its activities. At  the time, there are usually find a case of an error of the recruitment  process in an institution. It is also possible at Universitas Muhammadiyah Riau. It is actually depend on parties the agency that will make or break its own admission employes. Actually, the process of selecting the employee in accordance with the intelectual capability in quantity and the ability to work in accordance with its quality controlled. There are several criteria assessment in process of making decision recruitment at Universitas Muhammadiyah Riau. There assessment are based on the criteria of education, work experience, performance, test, interview, age, status, and address. The objectives to be achieved is to create a system that can help decision makers to determine the process recruitment optimally by using method of SAW (Simple Additive Weighting). The result of this research is building decision support system for acceptance new employes, and finally it can be uses as supporting for process accepting new employes.

Abstract

Tingginya minat dosen Universitas Muhammadiyah Riau menerapkan pembelajaran dengan e-learning dimana masih banyak terdapat kelemahan dari sisi infrastruktur ataupun masih kurangnya pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap sistem e-learning tetapi tidak pernah diketahui bagaimana efektifitas daripada pembelajaran dengan e-learning tersebut. Untuk mengetahui tingkat efektifitas tersebut, maka diterapkanlah jaringan syaraf tiruan yang dapat menyelesaikan masalah yang tidak terstruktur dan sulit didefinisikan, bisa belajar dari pengalaman, dan mampu menemukan jawaban terbaik  untuk memprediksi efektifitas pembelajaran dengan e-learning menggunakan metode back propagation. Untuk memprediksi Efektifitas pembelajaran dengan e-learning digunakan 4 indikator yaitu kesesuaian tingkat pembelajaran, ketuntasan belajar mahasiswa, sikap dan motivasi mahasiswa, serta efisiensi waktu. Dari penelitian penerapan jaringan syaraf tiruan ini nantinya diharapkan dapat memprediksi seberapa besar tingkat efektifitas pembelajaran dengan e-learning

Abstract

A virtual learning environment (VLE) is an online learning platform that allows many students, even millions, to study according to their interests without being limited by space and time. Online learning environments have many benefits, but they also have some drawbacks, such as high dropout rates, low engagement, and students' self-regulated behavior. Evaluating and analyzing the students' data generated from online learning platforms can help instructors to understand and monitor students learning progress. In this study, we suggest a predictive model for assessing student success in online learning. We investigate the effect of hyperparameters on the prediction of student learning outcomes in VLEs by the long short-term memory (LSTM) model. A hyperparameter is a parameter that has an impact on prediction results. Two optimization algorithms, adaptive moment estimation (Adam) and Nesterov-accelerated adaptive moment estimation (Nadam), were used to modify the LSTM model's hyperparameters. Based on the findings of research done on the optimization of the LSTM model using the Adam and Nadam algorithm. The average accuracy of the LSTM model using Nadam optimization is 89%, with a maximum accuracy of 93%. The LSTM model with Nadam optimisation performs better than the model with Adam optimisation when predicting students in online learning.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the largest palm oil producers in the world, so Indonesia has a role in meeting global demand for palm oil. Indonesia has extensive palm oil plantations in various states, producing around 43 million tons of palm oil. In general, Pekanbaru Riau, in the higher areas the soil is of the Red Yellow Podzolic (PMK) type, while in the lower areas the soil is peat type. PMK mineral soil has a thickness of organic soil material < 60 cm and some of it is still experiencing decomposition so it still contains a lot of fiber so that the agroecosystem on this soil will experience many problems, especially in dry areas with high slopes so that crop cultivation farmers have difficulty measuring soil moisture. Plant seeds cannot live and develop well if soil moisture does not meet requirements. For this reason, it is necessary to fertilize the seeds regularly, on a schedule and have sufficient water available. Based on the problems above, an oil palm tree nursery system was developed using the (Internet of Things) concept. Remote monitoring and control of the tool can be done via an Android application and real time internet access. From the test results of the two tools, namely the soil moisture monitoring system and the moist detector analyzer, the data obtained from soil measurements on oil palm seedlings shows very close measurement values, even from several experiments the data shown is very close, only 1-2%. Of course, from the data displayed the researcher made a comparison with the appropriate/unsuitable information as a reference for the suitability of this tool to be used

Abstract

Technology in education is needed as a learning medium that is used as a communication link between students and teachers. One application that can be used is Canva. The aim of this service is to introduce the Canva application and provide training and assistance to students, teachers and education staff in using the Canva application so that the learning process is more interesting and better. Training/counseling activities are carried out using training and workshops using laptops and smartphones equipped with video tutorials that have been prepared on YouTube. Providing workshops and training was successful in using the Canva application for teachers, education staff and students at Kalamullah Qur'an and Multilingual School Pattani Thailand. Using the Canva application can make it easier to design learning media in the form of 2D animation. Keywords: Learning Media, Canva Application, 2D Animation

Abstract

Teknologi jaringan generasi kelima (5G) berkembang menjadi fenomena baru dalam dunia telekomunikasi saat ini. Pasca meningkatnya jumlah pengguna internet di Kota Pekanbaru, teknologi 5G harus segera diterapkan. Studi ini menggunakan studi literatur dan wawancara sebagai metode observasi. Metode SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) digunakan untuk menganalisis data yang dikumpulkan. Rekomendasi yang dibuat oleh ITU (International Telecommunication Union) melalui program International Mobile Telecommunication (IMT)-2020 adalah standar untuk penerapan teknologi jaringan 5G. Jumlah stasiun base transceiver (BTS) berteknologi 4G yang dapat dilayani terus meningkat. Dengan 97% BTS 4G yang tersedia, Kota Pekanbaru memiliki peluang untuk menerapkan jaringan 5G. Infrastruktur yang kuat juga menjadi kekuatan.
