With the promotion, it is hoped that there will be an increase in sales figures for the product or service being promoted. Sapo Rumbia Villa and Cottage markets its villas and lodging rooms through social media such as Facebook and Instagram as well as online booking applications such as Oyo. Abstract

Customs are an order of life in Karo society, for example marriage, death which gives birth to heir rights. In Karo society, legal plurality is an indisputable reality. Karo custom places men and women in unequal/unequal positions. Boys as successors to the clan have a higher (superior) position and receive honors in various traditional events, both at weddings and mourning (death) events as well as other traditional events, including in the distribution process. inheritance. In Karo society, inheritance of inheritance is given to daughters only because of the generosity of their brothers, therefore property received by daughters is called pemerean or a sign of affection or appreciation. According to the Karo tradition, daughters are considered to have no rights to their parents' families because they have become part of their husband's family. The patrilineal-based Karo customary inheritance law has begun to shift towards bilateral-based inheritance law, this is also supported by the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia with many judge decisions being used as jurisprudence for judges in deciding inheritance cases for Batak customs, especially the Karo Batak custom, that girls have the same rights as boys. Then, to strengthen this regulation, the Supreme Court issued Perma No. 2 of 1972 for Judges throughout Indonesia to follow existing jurisprudence to decide the same case.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology, especially in the field of multimedia, has changed the way we communicate and document various activities. The use of video as a means of documentation is now the main choice in conveying information, both in the personal sphere and government agencies. Dolat Rayat District, like many other districts, often carries out various activities and programs that involve the community. Some examples of activities that are often carried out include social events, community meetings, seminars, and infrastructure development projects. For the purpose of reporting and promoting these activities, good and easily accessible documentation is very important. The use of CapCut for making video documentation is very relevant because this application is available for free and easily accessible via mobile devices that are generally owned by district employees. In addition, the features in this application greatly support the creation of professional video documentation, although it does not require high video editing skills. However, most employees of Dolat Rayat District still do not master the techniques and understanding needed to make maximum use of this application. Through this assistance, it is hoped that there will also be an increase in employee capacity in utilizing technology to support their duties and responsibilities, as well as improving the quality of communication and reporting at the government level.

Abstract

The growth of the local tourism sector has encouraged the development of accommodation businesses such as homestays, including M2 Homestay, which is located in a strategic tourist area. However, the management of this homestay is still carried out conventionally, especially in terms of financial recording and business reporting, which are manually done and often inefficient. A lack of digital literacy is one of the main obstacles to implementing a technology-based management system. To address this issue, this community service program aimed to provide practical training in the use of Microsoft Excel and assist in the digitalization of business reports for the management of M2 Homestay. The implementation methods included direct training, the development of digital report templates, and hands-on assistance with the application of Excel-based recording systems. The results showed that the homestay manager gained basic skills in using Excel for business needs, including daily financial tracking, room occupancy records, and monthly reporting through visual graphs. The program had a noticeable impact, such as improved time efficiency in report preparation, greater accuracy in data recording, enhanced professionalism in business management, and increased awareness of the importance of digital tools in supporting business sustainability. This initiative demonstrates that simple technological interventions can significantly strengthen small tourism-based enterprises.
