Abstract

Banten Province has large natural resources, especially natural resources in the form of wood. The amount of natural resources must be accompanied by human resources who can process natural resources so that they have a high selling value. KOTAKU, which operates under the Direktorat Jenderal Cipta Karya Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat in collaboration with the University of Banten Jaya, conducts training for the community to produce building materials, especially in the production of frames and doors. The objectives of the implementation of these activities include increasing the capacity of the community in producing building materials, especially the manufacture of frames and doors and as an effort to improve the economy of the people in Banten Province. This activity is carried out for four days by presenting instructors who have qualifications and experience in producing building materials. The target of this activity is the people living in the Banten Province, especially Lebak Regency, Serang City, and Serang Regency. After participating in this training activity, the community is expected to have better skills and abilities in processing wood and can create jobs, both for themselves and for others.

Abstract

Pandeglang merupakan salah satu kota di provinsi Banten, saat ini mengalami perkembangan yang cukup pesat khususnya pada sektor pariwisata, mengakibatkan peningkatan kebutuhan akan sarana prasarana transportasi. Observasi awal menunjukan ruas jalan Jenderal Ahmad Yani kabupaten Pandeglang sering terjadi kemacetan. Hal ini perlu dilakukan penelitian untuk mengetahui kondisi eksisting, mengetahui faktor penyebab kemacetan dan mementukan upaya alternatif yang akan memberikan masukan dalam penanganan kemacetan serta peningkatan kinerja ruas jalan. Penelitian ini memerlukan data priner dan data skunder serta metode penelitian deskriptif kualintatif berdasarkan manual kapasitas jalan indonesia tahun 1997. Hasil pengamatan kondisi eksisting pada ruas jalan Jenderal Ahmad Yani kabupaten Pandeglang diantaranya jalan termasuk jalan kelas II dan merupakan jalan provinsi dengan tipe jalan 4 lajur 2 arah tak terbagi, volume lalu lintas terbesar terdapat pada hari minggu sebesar 3407 kendaraan arah Pandeglang- Serang, hambatan samping sebesar 1229,2, kecepatan arus lalu lintas 51,85 km/jam, kapasitas jalan sebesar 5343,36 smp/jam sehingga derajat kejenuhan sebesar 1,6 untuk arah Pandeglang-Serang dan 1,5 untuk Arah Pandeglang-Labuan. Faktor penyebab terjadinya kemacetan akibat banyaknya hambatan samping. Berdasarkan data responden upaya untuk mennanggulangi kemacetan dengan menerapkan manajemen sistem transportasi penyediaan fasilitas lahan parkir dengan persentase 45,1% dan meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan transportasi angkutan uumum sebesar persentase 29,4%.

Abstract

Jalan merupakan prasarana transportasi yang sangat penting bagi masyarakat. Kendaraan berlebih adalah suatu kondisi beban ganda kendaraan melebihi beban standar yang digunakan pada asumsi desain perkerasan jalan atau jumlah lintasan operasional. Umur rencana jalan adalah jumlah beban kendaraan lalu lintas Ekivalen Single Axle Load (ESAL). Jalan Raya Bojonegara merupakan jalan beton (Rigid Pavement), kondisi jalan Raya Bojonegara sering terjadi kerusakan jalan disebabkan oleh kelebihan beban kendaraan, dengan demikian tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui angka beban ESAL kendaraan di Jalan Raya Bojonegara, untuk mengetahui persentase penurunan umur perkerasan jalan serta untuk meninjau jenis kerusakan jalan akibat besarnya kendaraaan berlebih. Metode penelitian yang digunakan menggunakan metode AASHTO 1993. Berdasarkan hasil survei di Jalan Raya Bojonegara pada tahun 2022 dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif pengambilan data primer dan sekunder didapat sebesar 9.732 kendaraan dan berdasarkan hasil survei kerusakan jalan terdapat jenis kerusakan seperti retak pumping,retak sudut, retak melintang, retak berlubang dan retak remek. Berdasarkan hasil analisa perhitungan menggunakan metode AASHTO 1993 dengan rumus kumulatif ESAL dan rumus reaming life, persentase penurunan umur perkerasan jalan terdapat dari hasil perhitungan beban ESAL pada tahun awal pembangunan di tahun 2016 sampai akhir umur rencana pada tahun 2036 mendapatkan persentase penurunan sebesar 95,91 % dan mengalami penurunan masa pelayanan di tahun ke 9 dari awal tahun pembuatan jalan.

Abstract

The selection of concrete constituent materials is something to note, considering that it affects the quality and weight of concrete types. The high density of concrete makes the dead load on the structure large. Styrofoam in the concrete mixture will form cavities, thus reducing the overall weight of concrete and light concrete forms with a smaller volume weight. This study aims to find out the effect of the addition of Styrofoam to the compressive strength and strong bending of concrete. Percentage increase of 0%,5%, 15%, 30%  of concrete volume with a sample count of 3 pieces for each  variation Methods used experimental methods and literature studies. Test results at a concrete age of 28 days showed that the highest compressive strength obtained at a percentage of 5% of 17.78  MPa and a bending force of 2.32  Mpa. A variation of  30%  obtained a compressive strength of 12.97 Mpa and bending strength of 1.98  Mpa with a volume weight of 1881.25 kg/m3  in the categories light concrete. So the greater the addition of Styrofoam, the lower the value of compressive strength and strong bending produced. With that percentage (30%),  it is recommended for non-structural buildings in indoor conditions.

Abstract

Kampung Ciguha Desa Carenang terdapat banyak pohon pisang dan biasanya masyarakat hanya memanfaatkan buah pisang, daun pisang maupun jantung pisang. Pengembangan pengetahuan dalam manfaat dari pelepah pisang mempunyai nilai ekonomis. Pelepah pisang memiliki serat yang dapat mencegah penyakit diverticulitis, konstipasi (sembelit), mencegah obesitas, diabetes mellitus, artherosclerosis, jantung koroner, kolesterol dan kangker usus oleh karena itu sangat baik untuk dikomsumsi. Bentuk aktivitas pengabdian yang dilakukan dengan penyuluhan, praktek, pelatihan dan kemitraan kelompok pengembangan kesejahteraan keluarga (PKK) bersama Universitas Banten Jaya. Adapun sasaran pengabdian pada ibu-ibu rumah tangga yang terhimpun pada kelompok PKK bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan keluarga. Pengolahan pelepah pisang menjadi keripik memerlukan tahapan proses dimulai dengan pemilihan pelepah pisang, merendam sampai pegorengan dan packaging. Hasil pengabdian yang diperoleh bahwa kelompok PKK telah berhasil memanfaatkan pelepah pisang menjadi keripik dengan berbagai rasa yang memiliki nilai ekonomis berdampak pada peningkatan kesejahteraan keluarga dan kerjasama. Pelepah pisang menjadi produk yang dapat dijual serta dapat menciptakan mata pencaharian baru. Ciguha Village Carenang Village has many banana trees and usually people only use banana fruits, banana leaves and banana hearts. The development of knowledge in the benefits of banana fronds has economic value. Banana fronds have fiber that can prevent diverticulitis, constipation (constipation), prevent obesity, diabetes mellitus, artherosclerosis, coronary heart disease, cholesterol and intestinal cancer, therefore it is very good to consume. The form of service activities carried out by counseling, practice, training and partnership of family welfare development groups (PKK) with Banten Jaya University. The target of devotion to housewives gathered in the PKK group aims to improve family welfare. Processing banana fronds into chips requires a process stage starting with the selection of banana fronds, soaking until pouring and packaging. The results of the service obtained that the PKK group has succeeded in utilizing banana fronds into chips with various flavors that have economic value have an impact on improving family welfare and cooperation. Banana fronds become a product that can be sold and can create new livelihoods.

Abstract

Meningkatnya pertumbuhan jumlah penduduk serta keinginan untuk memiliki kendaraan pribadi membawa permasalahan lalu lintas berupa kemacetan di Kota Jakarta. Solusi kemacetan yang digemari oleh mayoritas pekerja di Kota Jakarta yaitu memanfaatkan transportasi publik. Salah satu moda transportasi publik yang dominan adalah kereta api. Namun, hal ini lantas membuat permasalahan baru di tempat pengadaan moda kereta api yaitu stasiun. Lahan yang terbatas dan tingginya pengguna kereta api menyebabkan kapasitas ruang parkir yang ada tidak dapat menampung seluruh kebutuhan parkir, sehingga mengharuskan pengunjung untuk memarkirkan kendaraannya di luar stasiun Palmerah. Penelitian ini akan membahas bagaimana karakteristik parkir di stasiun Palmerah, lalu apakah kebutuhan parkir sudah terpenuhi, dan bagaimana redesign parkir agar lahan yang ada menjadi lebih efisien. Dari penelitian ini diketahui bahwa indeks parkir di stasiun Palmerah mencapai angka 220%. Hal ini mengartikan bahwa fasilitas parkir di stasiun Palmerah bermasalah. Adapun jumlah kebutuhan ruang parkir yang didapatkan setelah penelitian berbanding jauh dengan lahan yang ada. Lahan yang ada hanya menampung 70 SRP sedangkan kebutuhan parkir adaah 143 SRP. Me-redesign fasilitas ruang parkir menjadi bangunan bertingkat menggunakan sistem APS adalah solusi yang baik untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini. Lahan parkir akan di-redesign menjadi bangunan bertingkat empat dengan kapasitas maksimum 152 SRP dari total kebutuhan 143 SRP. Dengan me-redesign lahan parkir dengan bangunan bertingkat bersistem APS, stasiun Palmerah akan mampu menampung kendaraan dengan jumlah melebihi akumulasi dan volume parkir maksimum.

Abstract

In the construction of the new classroom building of madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 5 Lebak, Banten Province, of course, there is a formwork. The formwork used is made of multiplek wood and beam wood. Along with the development of technological advances, especially in the application of concrete printers or formwork, fiberglass formwork made of plastic was created. Fiberglass formwork has several advantages over conventional formwork including that it does not require a lot of labor and can also reduce waste waste left over from concrete casting (wood and boards The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of work on column structures and floor plates in classroom construction projects reviewed against strength, rigidity and stability, and be able to compare the use of conventional formwork with fiberglass formwork. The required data consists of primary data and skunder data, primary data is obtained directly conducting interviews with related parties while skunder data is in the form of maps, specs, time schedules, and images The results of the comparison deviation of the two types of formwork in terms of strength there was a weight difference of 32.5 kg / cm2, the stiffness was 0.087 cm. Furthermore, in the calculation results of the strength of the floor slab structure, there are 1.98 kg / cm, rigidity 0.018 cm. Then the calculation of the control of the weight placement reaction of 1902.04 kg.and the latitude force of 1056.69 kg and the control of scaffolding 1611.55 kg / cm2

Abstract

The cases of narcotics and illegal drugs abuse among the younger generation have been increasing and could impede the sustainability of Indonesia’s young population in the future. Therefore, efforts to protect the younger generation from these issues are highly necessary. The socialization activity at Public Junior High School 1 Pamarayan, Serang Regency regarding the dangers and impacts of narcotis abuse aimed to help participants understand the impact of narcotics abuse, namely physical, psychological, and socio-economic impacts. This activity applied lecture and participatory discussion method using PowerPoint slides, organized by the university students from community services Group 15 Kampungbaru Village, Pamarayan. The speaker (resource person) in this socialization was the staff from National Narcotics Agency, Serang Regency. This activity was conducted on September 4, 2023, attended by a total of 51 participants. The results reveal that the socialization has positively contributed in increasing students’ knowledge and understanding of the dangers and impacts of narcotics abuse, as proven by the number of students who actively participated and became more aware about the dangers of narcotics. This socialization is expected to be a solid foundation to fortify the younger generation as Indonesia’s next generation, especially students at Public Junior High School 1 Pamarayan, from the dangers of narcotics abuse

Abstract

Transportation has a very important role for people's lives. Judging from the current condition of Serang City, if viewed from the perspective of facilities and infrastructure, it has started to be inversely proportional. The Cikepuh intersection is an important intersection because motorists often pass it to get to the old Banten, East Serang Toll Road and the Rau main market. Where the need for roads is not proportional to the large number of existing vehicles. The increase in vehicle volume will affect the level of traffic performance which will eventually cause congestion. This study aims to determine performance factors and alternative strategies, methods of analysis using MKJI 1997. For data collection to calculate the volume of traffic flow by conducting a survey for 3 days, namely Monday, Saturday and Sunday, with an interval of 15 minutes and taken in the morning : 06.00-09.00, afternoon: 11.00-14.00, and afternoon: 16.00-18.00. Obtained the value of the degree of saturation (DS) of 2.4. Get a queue opportunity of QP% = 28.6% -75.9%, the average approach width of WI = 2.90m, the value of Degree of Saturation (DS) > 0.75. Exceeds established safety standards. The average capacity is 624.5 smp/hour, and it greatly affects the intersection delay (D) showing instability, namely 6.656 s/pcu. From the data attached to the Cikepuh intersection, there should have been an increase in the road, because it was not sufficient for motorists to pass through the intersection. Due to the lack of traffic lights and street lighting, the lack of road width and intersection geometry with increased driver capacity.
