Abstract

Java 2 Micro Edition adalah salah satu platform yang digunakan untuk mengembangkan aplikasi pada perangkat mobile bergerak yang merupakan sebuah produk dari vendor Sun Microsystem Coorporation. Platform software bersifat Open Source dan paling banyak didukungkan pada perangkat-perangkat mobile saat ini, karena hampir sebagaian besar vendor terutama untuk produk perangkat seluler telah dijejali dengan dukungan Java Virtual Machine, yang berfungsi sebagai lingkungan untuk menjalankan aplikasi-aplikasi berbasis java.Penelitian ini membahas perancangan antar muka dan pembuatan aplikasi mobile (MIDlet) berupa Katalog Pustaka Online sederhana, yang dikoneksikan ke Database MySQL sebagai sumber data pustaka yang diakses melalui J2ME Toolkit sebagai emulator compiler dan Java API (Application Programming Interface) sebagai sumber pustaka pemrogramannya.

Abstract

Face recognition techniques and classification methods have been proposed, but not many techniques that compare performance between methods. This research wants to analyze the performance of recognition. The method which are studied and compared are support vector machine and learning vector quantization. The result showed that the performance of the method, on the varied training number, LVQ method is better than SVM. In large number of classes, LVQ method is better than SVW.Keywords: classification, face recognition, LVQ, SVM

Abstract

Currently, the use of computer media for measuring the level of color blindness for the recruitment of prospective workers in companies/organizations or the selection of prospective students in educational institutions is still rare. Most methods used to measure the level of color blindness still use conventional methods without involving a lot of computer media. The reason is that the level of color blindness measuring devices is still not affordable for companies or educational institutions. Based on this fact, a proposed method for measuring color blindness using computer media is by applying the Color Filtering algorithm to the HSV color space on the Ishihara images. The purpose of this paper is to design and build applications to detect the level of color blindness using the Color Filtering algorithm. The color filtering algorithm is an image processing technique that is used to manipulate an image based on the specific color obtained from a color space. The use of HSV color space is used because the human eye uses Hue to refer to colors known to humans, such as red and green. This property reflects the colors captured by the human eye that respond to various wavelength values of light. The results of this paper are the application of the Color Filtering algorithm to Ishihara-based HSV images expressed as highly relevant for detecting the level of a person's color blindness.

Abstract

Alumni search application STMIK Sinar Nusantara using fuzzy Model Tahani algorithm for processing crisp values into fuzzy. Alumni search parameters consisting of age, duration of study, the waiting period of work, the first salary, GPA, office waiting period now, the scale of the company where the alumni work and whether or not ever leave for college and liveliness of association for college.The objective of the application is to facilitate the search of alumni based on user criteria. Application design using Data Flow Diagrams, relational database and programming language used PHP and MySQL. The result of this system has produced alumni accurate information according to the search criteria entered by the user. Keywords: Alumni search, Fuzzy Tahani, Fuzzy Database.

Abstract

Dalam protokol HTTP, setiap koneksi data yang terjadi antara aplikasi client dengan server tidak ada keterkaitan koneksi antara halaman satu dengan halaman lainnya. Hal ini sangat bertolak belakang dengan model koneksi pada aplikasi desktop, yang memiliki kecenderungan koneksi yang terjadi bersifat persistent, dalam artian koneksi data antar client dengan server akan terus terpelihara sampai salah satunya client atau server yang memutuskan koneksi. Dengan latar permasalahan ini, pengelolaan session dalam protokol HTTP perlu penanganan khusus, terutama untuk memelihara koneksi yang terjadi antara client dengan server. Mekanisme pengelolaan sesi pada aplikasi yang memanfaatkan protokol HTTP terutama dalam aplikasi berbasis web maupun aplikasi mobile dapat dimanfaatkan untuk mengimplementasikan fasilitas shopping-cart dalam e-commerce dan juga fasilitas otentikasi user untuk memvalidasi user yang berhak mengakses aplikasi terkait privasi aplikasi. Session ini dimanfaatkan untuk memberikan kemampuan pada aplikasi untuk mengingat data transaksi yang telah dilakukan sebelumnya, meskipun user telah berpindah-pindah mengakses menu-menu aplikasi lainnya. Pada aplikasi mobile untuk mengelola koneksi data via protokol HTTP diperlukan penanganan khusus, sehingga ini yang dijadikan permasalahan yang diangkat penulis terutama penerapan mekanisme session pada aplikasi mobile berbasis Java 2 Microedition kali ini. Adapun metode yang disajikan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan cookie fetch, untuk membangun fasilitas session.

Abstract

The development of internet has become one of the most popular data communication media. The ease of use and complete facilities are the advantages possessed by the internet. However, along with the development of internet media and applications that use the Internet,  crime on information system increases as well. With various illegal information-gathering techniques developing, many are trying to access information that is not their right. There are several security techniques for sending messages confidentially and securedly, one of which is known as steganography. This study combined steganography and cryptography. The message was encrypted first using base64 then inserted using the LSB Crossed method. This method was aimed at making the process of extracting messages by unauthorized ones not easy. Embedding message into images was using the last binary number of the RGB value of an image by randomizing the placement of binary numbers by integrating base64 coding so that it combined base64 messages which next the text messages would be encrypted. The measurement results in the stego image using PSNR (Peak Signal to Noise Ratio) showed that the image quality after the insertion process was > 50 db

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop a decision support application for the selection of students in web-based college. With this application, a decision is expected to provide an alternative for students in selecting a college. The decision support method used is the method of Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). To be able to use this application service students must make the registration process first. In terms of programming language the author uses language program Hyper Text Preprocessor (PHP). Abstract

Land transport like buses and public transportation is becoming a tool in the dibtuhkan transportation to tourist sites. Solo is one of the most visited tourist attractions where travelers who want to spend a lot of time for play, recreation, or for science in the city solo. However, information about transportation is less visible, and even the manual nature of the process information. Therefore we need a method to solve problems in the field of transport, which will be searched in the search for the closest distance transport journey from the initial position to tourism in the town of Surakarta. Genetic algorithms can be implemented for searching transit lines to attractions in the city of Surakarta. This is expected to help in the journey to the attraction in order to be faster if you know the closest point so that it can minimize the distance from one attraction to another attraction. This study yielded information such as street names as Surakarta travel route, transit lines, the travel distance and total travel animation from the initial position to the departure to the tourist sites. Based on the test results shows that Genetic algorithms can produce close to transport routes are the closest results in the case of the determination of the town of Surakarta tourism transport compared with the results from google maps route vehicles. Abstract

Stored Procedure merupakan fasilitas DBMS yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk  mengoptimalkan dalam penyusunan  aplikasi berbasis Client-Server. Dengan menggunakan fasilitas stored procedure ini programmer hanya perlu merumuskan aturan bisnisnya secara tersentral dikomputer server, sehingga di setiap aplikasi client tidak perlu dirumuskan lagi algoritma aturan bisnis dari sebuah transaksi, hanya dengan memanggil nama stored procedure yang ada dikomputer server saja aplikasi client telah dapat mengakses data yang sesungguhnya. Cara seperti ini akan menghemat penulisan kode-kode program pada aplikasi client sehingga akan lebih mempermudah dalam membentuk keseragaman akses data oleh berbagai client dalam lingkungan aplikasi terdistrubusi meskipun setiap aplikasi client dibuat dengan menggunakan platform bahasa pemrograman yang berbeda-beda.

Abstract

Along with the development of Surakarta's infrastructure, the need for transportation has also increased. Indirectly, it will also cause several problems that must be considered, such as traffic accidents. Data regarding traffic accidents can be used to classify road sections based on the characteristic similarity factor inherent in the data. The sample data used were 1429 accident data from 89 road data in the city of Surakarta. The clustering method used to get the expected results is the Fuzzy C-Means method. The results of accident data grouping are displayed using tables and maps that describe the mapping of road sections in the jurisdiction of the Surakarta City Police. The variables used to cluster data are the number of events, the number of victims who died, and the number of injured victims. The result of this research is a system application that can classify accident-prone areas using the Fuzzy C-Means method into 3 clusters, where the first cluster consists of 5 data, the second cluster consists of 20 data, and the third cluster consists of 64 data.
