Abstract

This study of defining Arabism aims to analyze Arab identity in the hadrami community in Betawi. Arab identity in the hadrami community in Betawi could be seen in the use of the marriage title, and their respect for the ‘alawiyyin community. The hadrami community in Betawi made religion a distinctive feature of Arab identity, thus causing conflict between the hadrami community in defining Arabism. The problem in this study is events that occurred in the past, thus materials such as archives, books, journals, and newspapers related to the theme were used as sources in this study. The analysis of this study uses the hermeneutic phenomenology method in order to obtain a reconstruction of the history of Arabism that is close to the truth. This study provides the conclusion that identity is a source of conflict, resulting contestation in the hadrami community in Betawi. Kajian tentang mendefinisikan arabisme ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis identitas Arab pada komunitas hadrami di Betawi. Identitas Arab pada komunitas hadrami di Betawi dapat dilihat pada pemakaian gelar pernikahan, dan penghormatan mereka terhadap kelompok ‘alawiyyin. Komunitas hadrami di Betawi menjadikan agama sebagai bahan dari identitas Arab, sehingga menyebabkan konflik diantara komunitas hadrami untuk mendefinisikan arabisme pada identitas Arab tersebut. Masalah pada penelitian ini adalah segala peristiwa yang telah terjadi di masa lampau, maka bahan-bahan seperti arsip, buku, jurnal, dan surat kabar yang terkait dengan tema digunakan sebagai sumber dalam penelitian ini. Analisis penelitian ini menggunakan metode fenomenologi hermeneutik agar dapat diperoleh rekonstruksi sejarah arabisme yang mendekati dengan kebenaran. Penelitian ini memberikan kesimpulan bahwa identitas adalah sumber konflik sehingga menimbulkan kontestasi pada komunitas hadrami di Betawi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui secara jelas tentang penggunaan metode Tilawati dalam pembelajaran Al-Qur?an Pada Sekolah Dasar Islam Al-Hidayah Pamulang. Metode pembelajaran tersebut salah satunya untuk mengetahui kelancaran membaca siswa dalam hal membaca Al-Qur?an. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif bersifat deskriptif analisis dengan latar penelitian di Sekolah Dasar Islam Al-Hidayah Pamulang, subyek penelitiannya adalah siswa kelas 3. Peneliti melakukan observasi terhadap aktivitas guru meliputi pelaksanaan kegiatan pembuka, pelaksanaan kegiatan inti, dan pelaksanaan kegiatan penutup. Selain observasi aktivitas guru, peneliti juga mengamati aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran meliputi kelancaran membaca Al-Qur?an siswa, kemampuan membaca sesuai dengan tajwid, dan kemampuan siswa dalam melafalkan huruf sesuai dengan makhrajnya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan penulis di SDI Al-Hidayah Pamulang bahwasannya, proses pembelajaran Al-Qur?an dengan menggunakan metode Tilawati ini berjalan dengan baik karena guru sangat berperan penting terhadap metode sehingga hasil yang dicapai siswa sangat berpengaruh dengan kompetensi guru dalam penyampaian metode.

Abstract

This research analyzes the issue of religion in understanding multiple realities. So it needs to be explained how religion can be one of the triggers of the problem and eventually become tyrants of other religions or beliefs. The problem that is limited in this study is that it relates to religion which is limited to the reality of conflicts that occur, as long as the conflict is published; both through research and through mass media. Furthermore, this research tries to look at the background of the understanding of diversity that occurs in society, so that it can be explained how it exists in interreligious relations in order to be in line. Religious expression among religious followers can influence patterns of integration and conflict. It will increase and become a trigger for conflict when it relates to the factors of economic and political inequality both locally, nationally, and even the constellation that is originally reasonable in the community, then strengthens and becomes clear, especially in society so that conflicts arise. Social integration can be a conflict resolution if maintained through bonds among citizens and social organizations that cross primordial boundaries.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze historical evidence of the usage of mosques by Arabs in old Jakarta to dominate society. This was shown through that they held a religious position in the mosques. Arabs have a strong influence on the diversity of society but they also try to influence and control the community. The main source used in this study is historical data. The data is interpreted by means of content analysis and using descriptive analytical method with qualitative approach. The conclusion of this research is that mosques are used by Arabs to reproduce Arabic identities.

Abstract

This study concluded that polygamy practiced by some Muslims did not have adequate syar'i arguments and were not in accordance with the principles of social justice outlined in the Qur'an. Whereas the arguments that have been used by classical scholars only constitute the justification of the verses of the Qur'an to synchronize classical culture with gender bias. The verses of polygamy in essence contain the rules of justice in treating orphans and not for the legality of polygamy in Islam.

Abstract

This study aims to find out clearly about the use of the Tilawati method in learning the Qur'an in the Al-Hidayah Pamulang Islamic Elementary School. One of the learning methods is to find out the students' fluency in reading the Qur'an. This research is a descriptive qualitative analysis with a background in Al-Hidayah Pamulang Islamic Elementary School, the research subjects are Grade 3 students. The researcher observes the teacher's activities including the opening of the opening activities, the implementation of the core activities, and the implementation of closing activities. In addition to observing teacher activities, researchers also observed student activities in learning including fluency in reading the Koran of students, the ability to read in accordance with recitation, and the ability of students to recite letters in accordance with their meaning. Based on the results of research conducted by the author at SDI Al-Hidayah Pamulang that the Al-Qur'an learning process using the Tilawati method runs well because the teacher plays an important role in the method so that the results achieved by students are very influential with the competence of the teacher in the delivery of the method.

Abstract

The Indonesian nation's character and religion are very well known. However, the rapid impact of globalization is slowly eroding this character. This failure occurred as a result of the ongoing educational process's neglect of morals. In facing changing circumstances and moral decline, students need religious character to be able to have and behave well in accordance with religious ideals. By establishing religious ideals to develop a religious personality in each student, school education plays an important role in determining personality and moral behavior. This paper aims to describe the analysis of the religious character of the tahsin and tahfidz camps at Al-Azhar 19 Ciracas Islamic High School. The source of this research is primary data sources obtained through direct observation at the school and Villa Degung Hillside Bogor, documenting activities that occur at the school and villa as a place for tahsin and tahfidz camps, as well as conducting interviews with the school principal, tahsin and tahfidz teachers, mentor Tahsin and Tahfidz and several students in grades 10, 11 and 12 at the school. Meanwhile secondary data was obtained from books, documents, journals, theses, data and articles obtained from the internet. This article shows that: success in forming religious character through tahsin and tahfidz study camps at SMAI Al-Azhar 19 Ciracas is demonstrated by attitudes and behavior that are obedient in carrying out the teachings of the religion one adheres to, tolerant towards the practice of worship of other religions and living in harmony with followers of other religions

Abstract

This research explores the use of gamification in learning, especially the use of the Baamboozle platform. This is related to the role of PAI teachers in increasing students' learning motivation, especially in grade 5 at Sinar Scholar Islamic Elementary School. The aim of this research is to analyze teacher strategies in increasing student learning motivation in PAI classes. This research agrees with research entitled "Teacher Strategies in Increasing Student Learning Motivation in Islamic Religious Education Subjects" written by Alif Achadah which states that teachers must have ideal strategies in teaching according to different conditions at each level so that students are motivated to learn. can increase. This research uses a type of qualitative research in the form of field research. The research method uses a descriptive analysis model with a sociological and psychological approach. Research data sources consist of primary data sources including interviews with related parties, documentation collection, observation, triangulation, and secondary data sources secondary data obtained from all written data relevant to the research topic. Data analysis uses Miles and Huberman theory, starting from collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, drawing conclusions, and validating data. This research presents the conclusion that the implementation of active learning through the Baamboozle platform used in PAI subjects in class V of Sinar Scholar Islamic Elementary School is in accordance with the RPP and is considered effective in increasing students' learning motivation.
