Abstract

In the world of education, learning methods are very important to help students understand and remember information well. We often encounter many teachers who still use learning methods such as lectures and textbook readings which cause learning to seem monotonous, thus causing a decrease in student activeness in the teaching and learning process, lack of enthusiasm, and even feel bored causing students to be busy with their own world. With this problem, the researcher felt interested in discussing the application of the singing method in strengthening memory as a more creative and interactive approach. The main purpose of this study is to determine the application of the singing method in strengthening memory in Akidah Akhlak subjects at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Istiqlal Jakarta. This research uses a type of qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. The primary data in this study amounted to 5 people including the head of the madrasa, the moral creed subject teacher, and three students. While secondary data is obtained from books or journals. Data collection techniques used by researchers in obtaining information are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing or verification. The results showed that the application of the singing method in the subject of moral creed has a positive impact in strengthening students' memory through repetition of information that is fun and relevant between lyrics and material. This method is proven effective in increasing student involvement during the learning process.

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to analyze the concept of children's character formation from Abu Qosim As-Suhaili's perspective in the book Ar-Raudul Unuf and analyze the implementation of Al-Ummū Madrasatu al-Ūlā in children's character education from the perspective of Abū Qāsim As-Sūhaili (W.581H) in the book Ar- Raudul Unuf in the era of modern education. The research approach in this study uses qualitative research methods, with the aim of obtaining more in-depth valid data. The types of data used in this research are primary data and secondary data as well as the type of library research, then qualitative interpretation (analysis) is carried out. The results of this research show that 1). the concept of character formation in children from Abu Qosim As-Suhaili's perspective in the book Ar-Raudul Unuf is by choosing a husband or prospective father who is a believer, breastfeeding from an intelligent mother and increasing touch with the child from the moment he is born, and 2). The implementation of Al-Ummū Madrasatu al-Ūlā in children's character education from the perspective of Abū Qāsim As-Sūhaili (W.581H) in the book Ar-Raudul Unuf in the modern era is by: a). choosing a husband or prospective father who is a believer; b).breastfeeding the child of an intelligent and clever mother; c). increase contact with children from the moment they are born.

Abstract

Pada dewasa ini, dimana fenomana degradasi moral terjadi di mayoritas wilayah Indonesia, pendidik perlu untuk merubah target atau capaian pembelajaran. Capaian pembelajaran yang awalnya hanya berfokus pada kognitif siswa, sekarang perlu difokuskan pada aspek lain, terutama afektif atau sikap siswa. Pendidikan nilai sendiri merupakan salah satu upaya para pakar pendidikan dalam melakukan proses transfer of value. Pakar pendidikan juga mengadopsi beberapa pemikiran para filsuf untuk mengimplementasikan pendidikan nilai di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji lebih lanjut terkait konsep pendidikan nilai dalam perspektif filsafat pendidikan menurut John Dewey dan al-Ghazali. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa John Dewey yang lebih menekankan penanaman nilai secara rekrontruksi, kemudian dikolaborasi dengan pemikiran Al-Ghazali tentang nilai yang menekankan pada ketaatan pada ajaran agama, akan menghasilkan output peserta didik yang sempurna mengenai nilai.

Abstract

Character-based Islamic education, until now, is still essential when the moral degradation of the nation's children continues to increase from year to year. This research aims to reveal the revitalization of Islamic education and how it shapes student character at Islamic Boarding School Asshiddiqiyah 2 Tangerang. Researchers used a qualitative approach with a case study type. The results showed that the boarding school had revitalized character-building through Islamic education by formulating the achievement of character-building goals according to the needs of the times and strengthening positive habituation in daily activities based on Ahlussunnah Wal Jama'ah values (tawasuth, tidal, tasamuh, tawazun, amar ma'ruf nahi munkar). The results of this revitalization can be seen in the presence of students who optimize their potential through value transformation, value transactions, and value internalization in their daily lives.

Abstract

The problem in this journal is that the decadence of manners between teachers and students has begun to erode in this era and the need to reactualise manners education in Indonesia. The purpose of this journal is to describe the internal and external manners of students and teachers in the study of the book of Taz\kirah as-Sa>mi' wa Al-Mutakallim. The results of this study indicate that 1). the internal adab of students in the book of Taz\kirah consists of eleven points, namely: having the nature of wara', qana'ah, maintaining the manners of walking, maintaining the manners of sitting and others. The external manners of students in the book consist of four points, namely: obeying his teacher, honouring him, being patient with him, speaking kindly to him. 2). The internal manners of the teacher in the book consist of eleven points, namely: having zuhud, muraqabah, sincerity, noble character and others. The external manners of the teacher in the book consist of nine points, namely: not refusing to learn, not prolonging the lesson, being objective, not burdening the student and others. 3). The manners that need to be considered for students to overcome and minimise the decadence of manners, namely: Sincere intention, not underestimating the teacher, thanking him, and others. As for the teacher: maintain his authority, have noble character, do not answer when students talk to him, and others.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the concept of learning methodology from Imam Az-Zarnūjī's perspective and analyze the form of Islamic education learning methodology development through the study of poems in the book Ta'līm al-Muta'allim. The researchers used a literature review with a qualitative research type through a descriptive analysis and content analysis approach. The data sources were excavated from primary and secondary data, while the data collection technique used observation and documentation. The study results indicate that the learning methodology in Imam Az-Zarnūjī's perspective conceptually is learning with a strong relational system between the concepts found, namely poems as learning strategies and methods. These strategies and techniques are seen in the three educational domains: cognitive, cognitive, affective, and psychomotor. Methodologically, the researchers found three learning strategies: the planning strategy, the at-ta'dībī strategy, and the continuity strategy. The researchers also found four learning methods as a real manifestation of the existing strategy: experimental, discussion, cooperation, and drill.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) has an important role in instilling Islamic values in students. However, in practice, PAI learning is often less associated with local social and cultural realities inherent in students' lives. Integration of local culture into PAI materials is an important strategy to make learning more contextual, meaningful, and close to students' daily lives. Local culture that is full of moral values such as mutual cooperation, tolerance, politeness, and responsibility can be used as an entry point in introducing Islamic concepts. This paper discusses the importance of integrating local culture as a means to strengthen Islamic values in the educational environment. Through a contextual and dialogical approach, PAI learning becomes more inclusive and is able to shape students' characters that are rooted in Islamic values while loving their own culture. In addition, cultural integration also contributes to the preservation of local identity in accordance with Islamic principles. Innovation from teachers and policy support are needed so that this process can run effectively and sustainably. Thus, cultural integration into PAI materials is a strategic step to create education that is inclusive and relevant to the socio-cultural context of students. Collaborative efforts from various parties are needed to overcome existing challenges and optimize the potential of this integration in Islamic Religious Education learning.

Abstract

Berdasarkan fakta sejarah, kecerdasan akal manusia mulai mendapatkan perhatian yang serius pada tahun 1905, melalui tes kecerdasan (IQ) yang pertama kali dilakukan oleh Alfred Binet (Seorang pakar psikologi dari Peran c i s) yang diperuntukkan bagi anak yang berumur 2 sampai 15 tahun. Sedangkan tes yang diperuntukkan bagi orang dewasa disusun oleh Wechsler pada tahun 1939 dengan nama Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS). Terlebih dengan temuan teori kecerdasan majemuk (multiple intelligence) yang sudah diteliti oleh Howard Gardner. Namun ironisnya potensi-potensi tersebut belum dimaksimalkan betul oleh para pelajar Indonesia, sehingga mengakibatkan kecerdasan mereka masih sering dipertanyakan. Padahal mulai 14 abad yang lalu al-Qur'an mengingatkan bahwa setiap orang sebetulnya berpotensi untuk menjadi pribadi yang sempurna, yakni sebagai pribadi yang mencegah dari keburukan, pribadi yang berilmu, mempunyai saripati akal, mempunyai pandangan tajam dan mempunyai daya tahan. Tentu kesempurnaan itu akan dirasakan apabila pribadi seseorang mampu memaksimalkan betul potensi akal yang menjadi esensi tunggal yang bertugas untuk berfikir, merenung, menganalisis, menalar, memahami, mengerti, mengingat dan menyebut kekuatan besar (Tuhan) dibalik kekuatan yang diberikan kepadanya (akal).

Abstract

This paper is a literature study on akhlak education contained in Islamic education. The discussion focused on the role of religion on akhlaks. Akhlak education really requires the role of religion that has urgency and significance in akhlaks. Therefore, it is necessary to rejuvenate the akhlak education contained in Islamic education, so that akhlak education becomes attractive. This paper finds that akhlak education contained in Islamic education is constructed based on religious relations. Therefore, akhlak education strengthens Islamic education.
