Abstract

This research aims to find out the indirect influence of Self-Confidence on Learning Outcomes through the economics learning motivation of Class XI Students at SMK Negeri 2 Jambi City. This type of research is causal associative using a quantitative approach. This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 2 Jambi City. The method used is a survey method through distributing questionnaires from a population and sample of 124 people, using a saturated sampling technique or census. Data processing uses SPSS Amos (Statistical Product and Service Solution) version 17.1 for Windows 8. The results of this research show that: 1) There is a significant positive influence between social support on learning outcomes of 0.455, t count > t table, namely 5,640 > 1.67. 2) There is a positive and significant influence between self-confidence on learning outcomes of 0.402, t count > t table, namely 4,849 > 1.675. 3) There is a positive and significant influence between motivation on learning outcomes of 0.419, t count > t table, namely 1.675 > 0.05. 4) There is a positive and significant influence between social support and motivation of 0.272, t count > t table, namely 3,119 > 1,655. 5) There is a positive and significant influence between the work environment on work motivation of 0.844, t count > t table, namely 10.177 > 2.015. 6) There is a positive and significant indirect effect between support for economic learning outcomes through motivation of 0.559, F hit > F table or 518.919 > 2.698. 7) There is a positive and significant indirect influence between self-confidence on learning outcomes through motivation of 0.504, F hit > F table or 18.919 > 2.68. This research concludes that there is a positive and significant influence between social support, self-confidence, and motivation for the economic learning outcomes of class XI students at SMK Negeri 2 Jambi City. Without ignoring other factors that can also influence Economics learning outcomes. In an effort to improve economic learning outcomes, students should increase their sense of ownership and awareness of responsibility and comply with applicable policies for the common good

Abstract

This research aims to improve the sharia economic sector, which is important in Indonesia's economic progress. This research is field research with a qualitative approach. This research uses two types of data sources: primary and secondary. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation, interviews with people, and documentation. The research results show that the halal value chain in the development of halal tourism products in Kampoeng Radja in Jambi City still needs improvement, such as tourism assets that are not yet sharia-based, especially culinary delights that do not yet have a halal certificate

Abstract

Background: Cancer patients often experience a decline in their nutritional status due to chemotherapy, which can result in malnutrition and negatively impact their quality of life. However, there has been limited research on the prevalence of these conditions in breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy in Indonesia. Purposes: This research aims to explore the connection between the quality of life and the nutritional status of breast cancer patients receiving chemotherapy treatment. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted in a private hospital in Pekanbaru using non-probability sampling. Demographic profile, nutritional status assessment by PG-SGA, and quality of life assessment by the EORTC QLQ C-30 module were obtained. Mann-Whitney and Spearman's tests analyzed the association between nutritional status and QoL. Results: The average age of breast cancer patients was 45.46±14.375. The prevalence of overweight and obesity was 64.1%. According to the PG-SGA score, the vast majority of patients, approximately 91%, were discovered to be well-nourished. The nutritional status was significantly associated with most functional and symptom scales (p0.05). Improved nutritional status is associated with increased functionality and a reduction in symptoms, while malnutrition has been linked to decreased quality of life across multiple dimensions. Conclusion: The nutritional status of breast cancer patients affects some dimensions of quality of life. Well-nourished patients had better function and fewer symptoms.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to find out the analysis of product quality and discounts on consumer satisfaction through purchasing decisions as an intervening variable at the Thrift Dinda Sayudha store in Situbondo. The sampling technique in this study was simple random sampling. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in this study used Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM) The results of the direct effect hypothesis test using the Smart PLS 3.0 application, show that product quality has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, discounts have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, product quality has a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction, discounts have a negative and insignificant effect on satisfaction consumers, purchasing decisions have a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction, product quality has a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction through purchasing decisions, discounts have a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction through purchasing decisions.

Abstract

The Fun English at SDN 6 Tambak Ukir (FeaST) program was designed to enhance English vocabulary acquisition among elementary school students in 3T (underdeveloped, outermost, and frontier) areas. Implemented at SDN 6 Tambak Ukir, Situbondo, the program addressed the lack of English learning resources and specialized teachers by engaging university student tutors to facilitate interactive learning activities. The program was carried out in three phases: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Activities included vocabulary games, reading exercises, and storytelling to encourage student participation. The results showed a significant improvement in students' English vocabulary and increased engagement in learning. Teachers also gained new teaching strategies to sustain the program beyond its initial implementation. However, challenges such as limited student attendance and varying language proficiency levels required adaptive teaching methods. The FeaST program demonstrates that structured intervention can enhance English language learning in remote schools. Further development and integration into the school curriculum are recommended to ensure long-term sustainability.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan tentang proses penanaman sikap peduli lingkungan di sekolah, faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam proses pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter siswa peduli lingkungan di sekolah dan mendeskripsikan hasil yang dicapai sekolah setelah dilaksanakan pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Penelitian kualitatif ini bermaksud memahami fenomena apa yang dialami oleh subjek penelitian. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif karena dalam melakukan tindakan kepada subjek penelitian yang sangat diutamakan adalah mengungkapkan makna, yakni makna dan proses dalam penanaman sikap peduli lingkungan. Hasil penelitian pelaksanaan program sekolah adiwiyata oleh kepala SD Pertiwi I Kota Jambi telah melakukan pengelolaan secara baik sesuai kriteria yang berlaku. Faktor pendukung dan penghabat dalam pengelolaan sekolah adiwiyata di SD Pertiwi I Kota Jambi telah menjadikan sekolah adiwiyata banyak keuntungan yang diperoleh sekolah ini anatar lain kondisi kebersamaan dalam suasa yang nyaman dan kondusif Kata Kunci : Pengalaman, Penerapan Adiwiyata

Abstract

In the context of vocational education, equipping students with both English proficiency and creative expression skills is essential for enhancing their employability and personal development. This community-based project, conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Situbondo, Indonesia, aimed to strengthen students’ foundational English skills and promote creative literacy through a dual-focus approach: communicative English training and guided literary writing. Utilizing Communicative Language Teaching (CLT), Project-Based Learning (PjBL), and experiential learning frameworks, the program provided students with practical speaking exercises and mentorship in producing English-language poems and short stories. These works were curated and published in a collaboratively designed school wall magazine. The findings reveal that interactive instruction and creative output fostered student engagement, confidence, and linguistic competence. Moreover, the program functioned as a catalyst for promoting school-based literacy culture. This study highlights the pedagogical value of integrating language instruction with creative production in vocational settings and advocates for scalable, context-sensitive community engagement models to support English learning in under-resourced schools.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis bagaimana pelatihan dan kinerja pegawai dan menganalisis pengaruh pelatihan terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Kantor Inspektorat Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan rumus statistik untuk menganalisis data yang diperoleh dari lapangan. Data yang didapat dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dengan cara menyebarkan kuesioner kepada 36 responden yang menjadi sampel yaitu pegawai Kantor Inspektorat Kota Jambi. Data tersebut selanjutnya diolah menggunakan rumus korelasi Product Moment, dan juga diolah dengan dibantu software komputer yaitu program SPSS versi 24. Program SPSS digunakan untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan antara pelatihan dan kinerja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari uji persamaan regresi bahwa variabel Pelatihan mempunyai arah positif terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan tingkat signifikan dibuktikan thitung 16,740 > ttabel 2,032 dengan kata lain variabel pelatihan mempunyai hubungan yang sangat erat terhadap kinerja. Untuk perhitungan korelasi sebesar 0,952 menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif antara pelatihan dengan kinerja sebesar 95,2%, dan untuk hasil dari uji model summary koefisien determinan diperoleh hasil sebesar 0,906 atau 90,6%, sisanya sebesar 9,4% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti didalam  penelitian ini

Abstract

This research evaluated a method involving provision of a concoction of Boesenbergia pandurata, Solanum ferox dan Zingimber zerumbet extracts for pathogen prevention in tilapia. The concentration of each extract was 600 ppm of Boesenbergia pandurata/BP, 900 ppm of Solanum ferox/SF and 200 ppm of Zingimber zerumbet/ZZ. The examination was performed by issuing two combinations of extracts (SF:BP, SF:ZZ) against Aeromonas hydrophila and Pseudomonas fluorescens (105 CFUmL-1). Preventive trials were carried out by providing a concoction of extracts through intraperitoneal injection (0.1 mL/fish) in tilapia (15±2 g) and the immersion method was performed by bathing the fish in the extracts for 20 minutes, with pathogen challenging during the following 24 h being carried out. The composition of the used extract was by SF60:ZZ40; SF50:ZZ50; BP90:SF10; BP50:SF50; and fish without being given the extract. Haematology and immunology parameters were observed at the 4th week after challanges with pathogenic bacteria. The number of white blood cells (WBCs) increased significantly (P <0.05) compared to controls without extract, with a similar increase observed for red blood cell (RBCs), but heamatocrit (Ht) and hemoglobin (Hb) values did not significantly increase compared to control. Phagocytic index, respiratory burst and lysozyme activities also experienced a significant increase in fish fed with combined extracts compared to controls. The numbers of pathogenic bacteria in the body of the fish given extract were also lower than the control and significantly different at the 4th week. The results of this study indicate that giving combined extracts of SF50:ZZ50 and BP90:SF10 provides the best protection (RPS) against infection of A. hydrophila and P. fluorescent by injection of 100%. This study indicates that providing combined extracts by injection and immersion in the ratio of SF50:ZZ50 has a positive effect in increasing the non-specific immune system of tilapia and increasing protection against bacterial infections.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of Return on Equity (ROE), solvency, EBITDA, and employee motivation on the performance of the Regional Public Drinking Water Company (Perumda AM) in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province for the 2018-2023 period using a quantitative approach with secondary data from annual reports and multiple linear regression analysis. The results indicate that ROE significantly influences company performance (sig. 0.041 < 0.05), while solvency (sig. 0.619), EBITDA (sig. 0.719), and employee motivation (sig. 0.170) do not. The Adjusted R Square coefficient of determination is 0.208, explaining 20.8% of the variation in performance. This finding confirms the inconsistency of previous research and emphasizes the role of profitability in the context of regional public service companies.
