Abstract

This research is about the role of Export Market Orientation as mediation of Entrepreneurship Orientation and Learning Orientation on Export SME Performance in Indonesia. The main phenomenon is the total contribution of non-oil and gas exports (SMEs) which has a tendency to stagnate or even decrease since 2015 of 15.73%, then in 2019 it becomes 14.38%, far from the target set by the government at 17%, this is due to the lack of Indonesian UKM products interested in the global market. This causes the products of Indonesian SMEs to be unable to compete with SMEs of other countries in terms of export earnings. There are many factors that can cause this to happen, such as: lack of good standardization, many entrepreneurs only cater to the domestic market because they do not understand how to export, limited competent human resources and lack of access to financial institutions. Due to the limitations of the research model, especially those studying exports in developing countries, research using a quantitative approach with the SEM-PLS data analysis method is considered appropriate. The choice of the SEM-PLS method, because this research is predictive in nature, will of course be able to better represent the research model. In this study, there were 84 SMEs respondents who were registered with the Ministry of SMEs and Cooperatives. The results revealed that export market orientation had an effect as a mediating relationship between learning orientation and the performance of export SMEs, however, in an indirect relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and export performance, the mediating role of export market orientation not significant. This confirms that information related to export data needs good collaboration between company owners and employees.

Abstract

In "Rencana Pembangunan Jangka Menengah Nasional 2015-2019," which is regarded as a vital monetary sector, one of Indonesia's national development goals is the agricultural sector. One indicator of the success of agricultural development is the degree of farmer welfare, typically determined by the Nilai Tukar Petani (NTP). By comparing the quantity of NTP in each subsector and the implementation of the farming engagement activities, this article compares the level of farmer welfare in two farming sub-sectors, specifically estate crops and horticultural crops. The secondary data from Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) from 2015 to 2021 were divided into two periods before and during pandemic COVID 19 (2015–2019 and 2020–2021), and the descriptive data on the farmer involvement activities with the sample point at Belitung Island. The data were analyzed with SPSS version 25 through Eta correlation analysis. The investigation revealed that horticultural crops and the NTP estate changed, with the NTP of horticultural plants being the most stable. Meanwhile, the horticulture and NTP estate crops tended to decrease and become less stable during pandemic COVID 19. We concluded that the agriculture industry was sustainable, particularly SME horticultural and estate crops. For a sustainable farming option, we advise employing marginal land for short crops using organic compost and reusing agriculture waste for bioorganic fertilizer.

Abstract

The future of Indonesia is determined by the quality of human resources, especially the millennial generation. In the context of facing the problem of fraud cases in Indonesia, of course we hope that the millennial generation is relatively more sterile from permissive values towards fraud behavior. A negative work environment (deviant workplace behavior) can affect employee performance in an organization. Fraudulent behavior will have an impact on the poor performance of millennial employees. This can also affect organizational performance in a company. Survey fraud conducted by AFCE (2019), that the biggest fraud perpetrators were employees with a percentage of 31.8% and 20% with an age group of 20 - 35 years. This means that most fraud perpetrators come from the millennial age group. This study aims to analyze the effect of deviant workplace behavior and work commitment on millennial employees with the implementation of anti-fraud strategies as a mediating variable at Permodalan Nasional Madani. This study uses quantitative research methods and this research data is taken using purposive sampling, meaning that the sample is based on certain characteristics, traits or characteristics. The number of samples in this study were 140 millennial employees at PT Permodalan Nasional Madani. The results showed that the performance of millennial employees has a significant effect on deviant workplace behavior and work commitment through the implementation of anti-fraud strategies.
