Abstract

Home industry that processes coffee beans into coffee powder is the Cap Jempol household industry where this industry processes coffee beans into ground coffee. The household industry for Cap Jempol is located in Air Bang Village, Curup Tengah District. The home industry has started its business since 1987 processing dry coffee beans into coffee powder. The purpose of this study includes to reveal the amount of revenue and income obtained from the ground coffee business in the Cap Jempol home industry and provide management recommendations to increase income. The type of data used in this research is primary data which is collected through direct interviews with respondents. The results of this study are the business of thumbprint coffee powder management obtains an average profit of Rp. 2,688,116, - per week with an average Boruto income of Rp. 10,201,667, - with a total production cost of Rp. 7,861,884, -. For business development, it can be done by increasing technology-based promotions such as penetrating online markets with more attractive brand design and product packaging, increasing the use of production technology and carrying out quality control on the products produced, increasing business capital, collaborating with sources of innovation in quality improvement. and production quantity.

Abstract

The businessmen is the home industry, the home industry is a small business that has an important role in the growth of the region and the country. The home industry is the backbone of the populist economic system aimed at reducing the problem of unemployment in society. Management of marning corn is one of the management of agricultural products. Corn is one of the important food commodities and is a priority for research and development centers and is a source of vitamins and minerals to fulfill needs. This study aims to determine the income of the marning corn home industry and at the same time provide recommendations for sustainable management in improving the quality and quantity of marning corn products in Bukit Barisan Village, Kepahiang Regency. The method used in this researc is the income analysis, SWOT, and QSPM. The result of this research is the income from each production process is Rp. 234.168,-. with a production cost of Rp. 557,832,-. The development of a home industry for marning corn in Bukit Barisan Village can be done by increasing the amount of production and expanding the market, increasing product quality, cooperation with agencies related to business development, product branding.

Abstract

Coffee is a major agricultural commodity in Indonesia, but its production declined by 1.43% compared to 2021. To boost productivity, vegetative propagation through stem-cutting is a promising method. This study investigates the use of coconut water as a natural plant growth regulator (PGR) to enhance the growth of coffee cuttings. Conducted from June to September 2024 at the Greenhouse of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Pat Petulai, the experiment used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with five soaking durations in coconut water: 0 (control), 3, 6, 9, and 12 hours. Results were analyzed using ANOVA and followed by the Least Significant Difference (LSD) test at a 5% significance level. The 9-hour soaking treatment (P3) showed the highest shoot length by the 4th week, while the control had the lowest leaf length. However, soaking duration did not significantly affect shoot diameter, leaf length, or overall shoot growth, indicating a limited influence of coconut water on coffee cutting development

Abstract

Pisang merupakan komoditas yang sangat mudah dijumpai terutama di Desa Sindang Jaya. Salah satu bagian pisang yang kerap tidak dimanfaatkan masyarakat dan sering menajadi sampah adalah pelepah pisang. Pelepah pisang dapat dimanfaatkan dan diolah menjadi olahan keripik. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi masyarakat Desa Sindang Jaya dengan harapan mampu meningkatkan kapasitas dan keterampilan dalam menjalankan usaha berbasis potensi lokal. Pengabdian dilakukan pada hari Senin tanggal 03 Maret 2025. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Desa Sindang Jaya kecamatan sindang kelingi Kabupaten rejang lebong provinsi Bengkulu. Pengabdian dilaksanakan dengan metode observasi dan perencanaan, persiapan, pelatihan dan pelaksanaan, serta evaluasi. Berdasarkan hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang sudah dilaksanakan dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan pelatihan peningkatan nilai jual pelepah pisang menjadi olahan keripik pisang menjadi ilmu baru bagi masyarakat sindang jaya dan menjadi peluang usaha baru bagi masyarakat untuk meningkatkan ekonomi keluarga dengan memanfaatkan bahan yang melimpah dan sering tidak digunkan oleh masyarakat.

Abstract

The increased global emphasis on sustainable farming has accelerated interest in microorganism-based biopesticides as an alternative to chemical pesticides. This systematic literature review of 65 articles acquired from the Scopus database explains research trends, top journals, affiliations, and actual applications of microorganism-based biopesticides in increasing crop production. The results show a marked escalation in publications since 2018, with India, the United States, and Europe leading the research. Top journals such as Microorganisms for Sustainability and Crop Protection are essential for knowledge dissemination. Leading academic institutions, such as Banaras Hindu University, and governmental institutions, such as the USDA Agricultural Research Service, drive innovation in the field. This study chronicles the increasing global recognition of biopesticides as a contribution to sustainable agriculture and identifies the major areas requiring additional research, such as field efficacy, scalability, and regulation. These findings are valuable to policymakers, researchers, and agricultural stakeholders interested in introducing biopesticides into conventional farming systems.

Abstract

Kabupaten Rejang Lebong terletak pada wilayah timur Provinsi Bengkulu dan merupakan kabupaten penghasil kopi robusta nomor 2 setelah Kabupaten Kepahiang. Kabupaten Rejang Lebong merupakan daerah dataran tinggi dengan tingkat kesuburan tanah yang tinggi. Tanah yang subur tersebut merupakan habitat yang cocok untuk budidaya kopi. Luas Kebun kopi di Kabupaten Rejang Lebong adalah 13.422,00 hektar (BPS Rejang Lebong, 2018). Desa Tanjung Dalam Kabupaten Rejang Lebong sebagian besar masyarakatnya merupakan petani kopi. Rendahnya kualitas tanaman kopi di Indonesia salah satunya disebabkan karena kualitas benih biji kopi yang digunakan pada teknik penanaman generative masih rendah, sehingga diperlukan cara cepat pengembangbiakan tanaman kopi agar hasil yang didapatkan lebih sempurna. Salah satu cara yang banyak dilakukan adalah dengan stek batang tanaman kopi. Tujuan dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk menerapkan teknik pembibitan dengan metode stek pada masyarakat Desa Tanjung Dalam Kabupaten Rejang Lebong. Pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilaksakan pada bulan Februari sampai dengan Maret 2024 di Desa Tanjung Dalam Kabupaten Rejang Lebong Provinsi Bengkulu. Metode yang dilaksanakan meliputi penyuluhan, demonstrasi, penerapan teknik stek pada tanaman kopi, dan monitoring. Berdasarkan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini diperoleh hasil bahwa petani Desa Tanjung Dalam Kabupaten Rejang Lebong mengetahui dan trampil melakukan teknik stek pada tanaman kopi. Untuk memperoleh manfaat yang maksimal dari kegiatan ini perlu adanya kegiatan berkelanjutan dengan pengawalan dan pengembangan teknologi teknik stek pada pembibitan tanaman kopi.

Abstract

Produksi padi sawah merupakan salah satu sektor strategis dalam keberlanjutan ketahanan pangan nasional, namun masih terdapat penurunan produksi yang salah satunya dapat disebabkan oleh faktor dari jumlah bibit per lubang tanaman, oleh karena penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat efektivitas variasi jumlah bibit per lubang dalam meningkatkan produksi padi sawah sehingga dapat direkomendasi penanaman yang optimal untuk kondisi lokal. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan polybag yang dirancang menggunakan sistem percobaan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan satu faktor, yaitu jumlah bibit per lubang tanaman dengan perlakuan P1 (satu batang per lubang); P2 (dua batang per lubang); P3 (tiga batang per lubang); P4 (empat batang per lubang); P5 (lima batang per lubang); P6 (enam batang per lubang), masing-masing perlakuan diulang sebanyak 4 ulangan. Setiap percobaan dilakukan pengamatan terhadap Jumlah Anakan, Jumlah Anakan Produktif, Jumlah Anakan tidak Produktif, dan Bobot Malai. Berdasarkan hasil analisis varian menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan jumlah bibit per lubang tanam memiliki pengaruh yang sangat nyata terhadap Jumlah Anakan dan Anakan Produktif. Jumlah Anakan Produktif P3 (23,75) tidak berbeda nyata terhadap P4 (25,75) dan P5(26,50), akan tetapi P3 meliliki nilai Bobot Malai tertinggi (60,26) dibanding dengan perlakuan yang lain walaupun tidak berbeda nyata secara statistik. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa P3 merupakan jumlah bibit yang paling bagus dalam peningkatan produksi tanaman padi sawah

Abstract

Agribusiness cooperatives are economic institutions consisting of agribusiness stakeholders whose primary objective is to empower members through collective enterprise management, enhanced market access, and the provision of capital services and agricultural production inputs. In this context, agribusiness cooperative management plays a vital role in strategic decision-making, operational efficiency, and the development of programs aimed at increasing members’ income. Recent studies indicate that the implementation of effective management strategies can improve members’ welfare through holistic and participatory service delivery. In an era of increasingly dynamic economic competition, agribusiness cooperatives face significant challenges in optimizing their institutional functions to generate tangible economic benefits for members. Recent empirical studies demonstrate that effective cooperative management strategies, such as strengthening member participation, sound financial management, and agribusiness development programs, contribute significantly to improvements in members’ income and overall welfare. Moreover, the member-based nature of cooperatives requires democratic governance mechanisms to ensure active member involvement in the decision-making process.
