Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of product quality on customer loyalty with customer satisfaction as a mediating variable among users of Scarlett Whitening serum in Bandung City. This study uses a quantitative approach as the research method, analyzed using simple regression, multiple regression, and the Sobel test through SPSS. The results show that product quality has a significant influence on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. Customer satisfaction also has a strong positive effect on loyalty and mediates the relationship between product quality and customer loyalty. These findings indicate that high product quality enhances satisfaction, which in turn strengthens customer loyalty. This study contributes to the literature by emphasizing the mediating role of satisfaction in the relationship between perceived product quality and customer loyalty in the skincare industry. To increase customer retention, Scarlett Whitening is recommended to maintain product efficacy, enhance user experience, and utilize customer satisfaction testimonials in marketing strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of product quality on repurchase interest with consumer satisfaction as an intermediate variable among students in Cimahi City. A sample of 60 respondents was obtained through purposive sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires and quantitatively processed with the Sobel Test using SPSS software version 27. The results show that product quality has a significant influence on consumer satisfaction, product quality has a significant influence on repurchase intention, consumer satisfaction has a significant influence on repurchase intention, and consumer satisfaction is proven to have a significant mediating role in the relationship between product quality and repurchase intention. The uniqueness of this research lies in its focus on examining the mediating role of consumer satisfaction in the context of students in Cimahi City, thereby providing new insights for the marketing literature by highlighting local perspectives that are rarely studied. This research contributes to three aspects. First, strengthen the theory of consumer behavior by proving that satisfaction mediates the relationship between product quality and repurchase interest, and enriches empirical studies on the role of product quality in consumer satisfaction and loyalty (especially students). Second, becomes a guideline for business actors in Cimahi City to improve product quality. Third, the application of the Sobel Test contributes to analyzing the role of mediation and can be a reference for future consumer behavior research.

Abstract

Kota Cimahi menghasilkan sampah sekitar 230 ton per hari, sementara kuota yang ditetapkan oleh TPA Sarimukti tidak lebih dari 100 ton per hari. Salah satu wilayah di Kota Cimahi yang turut berkontribusi memproduksi sampah adalah Kelurahan Melong Kecamatan Cimahi, tepatnya berada di RT 9, RT 10, dan RT 11. Masyarakat di lingkungan ini belum membiasakan membatasi timbulnya sampah, melakukan daur ulang sampah, dan/atau memanfaatkan kembali sampah sehingga memiliki nilai ekonomi. Oleh karena itu, tim pengabdian kepada masyarakat turut berpartisipasi membantu Pemerintah Kota Cimahi dalam program akselerasi mewujudkan masyarakat sejahtera di wilayah Melong melalui kampanye reduce, reuse, dan recycle (3R). Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan diseminasi berbasis edukasi singkat dalam durasi 2–3 jam. Secara keseluruhan, hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa intervensi berupa edukasi dan pelatihan terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan, kesadaran, dan motivasi masyarakat terkait pengelolaan sampah berbasis reduce, reuse, dan recycle (3R). Temuan ini mempertegas pentingnya strategi edukasi berbasis partisipasi dan motivasi kolektif dalam mewujudkan lingkungan yang bersih dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of entrepreneurial orientation and ecopreneurship on the marketing performance of small and medium-sized culinary businesses in Cimahi City, with competitive advantage as a mediating variable. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected through questionnaires from 120 culinary entrepreneurs and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The findings indicate that ecopreneurship has a strong and positive effect on both competitive advantage and marketing performance. Competitive advantage significantly enhances marketing performance. In contrast, entrepreneurial orientation contributes positively to competitive advantage but does not have a direct and significant effect on marketing performance. Overall, the results highlight the crucial role of ecopreneurship and competitive advantage in improving marketing performance. Therefore, culinary SMEs are encouraged to emphasize innovation and environmentally friendly business practices to strengthen competitiveness and achieve sustainable marketing outcomes.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational leadership on the effectiveness of public administration in the Population and Civil Registration Office (Disdukcapil) of Cirebon City. Method: The population in this study included all employees and leaders of the Cirebon City Disdukcapil, and using the census method, questionnaires were distributed to 28 respondents.  Results: The results of simple linear regression analysis show that organizational leadership has a positive and significant effect on public administration effectiveness, as indicated by a regression coefficient value of 0.425 and a significance value of 0.001. The ANOVA test also reinforces this finding with a calculated F value of 12.823 and a significance value of 0.001 (< 0.05).  Novelty: These findings indicate that visionary, participatory, and innovative leadership are key factors in improving the performance of responsive and high-quality public services, as well as strengthening public trust in population service institutions in the digital age.
