Abstract

This study aims to determine the potential of fun tubing attraction in the area of the tourist attractionweir Anai Korong Sakayan Nagari Pasielaweh district Padang Pariaman with an indicator of natural resources, location, culture, and entertainment seen from the scenery an water in natural resources, location and area of the location, washing and bathing in culture, experience and games from entertaiment. This research is a qualitative descriptive reseach with qualitative method. Data collection techigue is done by, interview method, observasi, documentation involving informant by using purposive sampling technique. the The results of the study note that potential of fun tubing attractions can be: 1) natural resources have the potensial of natural secenery is still natural example of hills and paddy fields. constraints that often experienced in fun tubing tourist attraction is the unstable water disharge. 2) The location of fun tubing tourist attraction area of anai Korong Sakayan Nagari Pasielaweh district Padang Pariaman. the location of this fun tubing tourist attractions in very strategis because it is close together to other tourist attraction. 3) cultural life of the local community still utilize the natural values that exist in the river such as rocks and sand but it also utilizes other natural resources that exist. 4) the excitement of playing water by following the flow of the flowing river and test adrenaline of the tourists who play fun tubing.keywords: potential, attractions, tours, tourist attraction, fun tubing

Abstract

The purpose of research is to know the standard business restaurant imp-lementation in the area of attractions Gandoriah Pariaman Beach.This research consists of two indicators are: product and service. This type of research is descriptive research using kualitatif data and kuantitatif data. Determination the research with the informant of purposive sampling is 7 restaurant owner.Data collection through interview, documentation and observation.Technic analysis data with reduction data, presentation data and conclusion.Based on the results of the study concluded that in general thestandard effort restaurant implementation about product in the form of spacious room of appropriate seating capacity, sufficient lighting and air circulation, food has been available, a clear sign is already applied. Food storage according hygiene sanitation applied 57,14%, restroom are clean and well maintained 14,28%, tables, chair and tableware according hygiene applied 57,14%, list menu accompanied price applied 57,14%. For service, serving meals are served by employees, payment is made by direct payment with respect to paying visitors and handling guest complaint by way of explaining to guest.Key Word: Implementation, Business Standar Restaurant1Prodi D4

Abstract

The purpose of research isto know the waiter/ waitress profile four star Hotel Padang  to see from 5 indicators. This study is a descriptive correlational cuantitative study. The population in this research iswaiter and waitressfood & beverage service four star Hotel Padang for 39 persons. Sample selection techniques in the study using total population.Data collection techniques with a structured questionnaire based on Likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. Research results show is: 1) Education background of waiter/waitress is SMA/SMK level as big as 58,97 %, 2) Work experience in the range 1-5 years as big as 69,23%,3) Work competen is haven’t profession sertification as big as74,36%,4) Performance waiter is sufficient with an average value 31,54 in the range 31,25-35,75 and performance waitress is sufficient with an average value 35,73 in the range 31,85–36,15,5) Attitude is sufficient with an average value60,79  in the range 55,5 – 62,5.   Keywords:profile, waiter/waitress,hotel

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence between work discipline on employee performance at Grand Rocky Hotel Bukittinggi. The type of this research is clausal assosiative. The sampling technique is using proportional random sampling. The sample of this research are amounted to 51 people. Data collection is using questionnaire. The primary’s data is work discipline and the secondary’s data is employee performance. Based on likert scale that has been tested of validity and reliability. The result of this research is concluded that in general about work discipline at Grand Rocky Hotel Bukittinggi is good at 47,06%. Employee performance at Grand Rocky Hotel Bukittinggi is also good at 50, 98%. The result is also indicate that signification between work discipline on employee performance at Grand Rocky Hotel Bukittinggi is 81,8%.Key Word: Discipline, Performance, Employee

Abstract

The purpose of research is to determine the Effects of Products and Prices Souvenirs Against Satisfaction Tourists in Lapau Panjang Cimpago Padang City. This type of research is a causal associative research. Population in the research is not known the exact number. Sampling technique is non probability sampling, using accidental sampling. Number of sample in this research amounted to 97 people. Data collection using a questionnaire based with the Likert scale that tested for validity and reliability. Based on the results of research using using multiple linear regression shows that the product and price influence the satisfaction of tourists as a dependent variable significantly with the value of R square of 0.344.Key Words : Product, Price. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the market equilibrium between demand and supply is affected by six factors such as: the price, price of substitute goods, consumer income, the number of buyer, the cost of production, and the number of producers on the market.These types of descriptive quantitative research with survey method, population in this study was the visitors who buy specialities Sala Bulek and all of the Sala Bulek traders on the Gandoriah Beach. The research sample amounted to 10 consumers and 10 traders. The type of data used is primary data obtained through observation, interviews, documentation and questionnaire. The sampling technique is non-probability sampling with purposive sampling types. Then test the classical assumption of normality test and heterokedastistas using an Eviews7 and SPSS 16 application. The analisys tools is the model of simultaneous equations two stage least squeres method (2SLS). Next, define the market equilibrium through mathematical approach and chart/curve. After that Break event point analysis.The study found there is a equilibrium market between demand and supply that is affected by price (P), price of substitute goods (Ps), consumer income (Y), the number of buyer (N), the cost of production (C), and the number of producers on the market (Tp). Simultaneous equation analysis results the market equilibrium occurs when the IDR. 400 equilibrium price, and quantity of 550 pieces. And than Break Event Point (BEP) analyze result optained BEP (unit) of 260 units and BEP (rupiah) of IDR.130.000.Keyword: Demand, Supply, Sala Bulek,Equilibrium Market.

Abstract

This research is aims to describe sanitation in the several restaurants which located in along Gandariah beach at the Pariaman city. It has two indicators in such kind of room which is consists of space for eat, drink, and some supporting facilities. The type of this research is descriptive text by using qualitative and quantitative approach. The data is conducting by doing interview, observation, documentation, and questionnaire. This research using purposive sampling technique. then the data analyzed by reducing, presenting the data, conclusions and the percentage of respondents score level. The result of research are the condition of floor is quite good, the wash basin is made in glass bottle which is very unique, the fresh and clean water is come from drill well, it has five restrooms but only one of them explains about who can use it, three restaurants have their own restroom and one of them does not have roof, and there is limited trash can based on quality even quantity. Thus, the category of restaurant sanitation is good. The room for eat or drink is good category (2970-3861) with score 17,6 and TCR 79,36%. The category of facility is good (2835-3685,5) with score 13,90 and TCR 66,20%.Key words: Restaurant sanitation, Gandoriah beach

Abstract

This study aims to explore the contribution of employee service quality Front Office to the satisfaction of the guests staying at the Hotel HW Padang . This research is a quantitative (associative causal). The population in this study is the number of guests staying during the 10 months from January to October 2015 the number of 11,080 people. The number of samples in this study was of 100 people were taken using the formula Riduwan. The sampling technique is non-probability sampling, (incidental sampling). Collecting data using a questionnaire based on the Likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. Results of correlation found sig 0.969 > 0.05, then the variable quality of service can not identifies variables guest satisfaction significantly, with R Square of 0.002. This means that Quality Service Customer Satisfaction affects only 0.2% and 99.8 % influenced by factors.Keywords: Quality, Service, Employee, Satisfaction, and Guests.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the Objek Wisata Pantai Air Manih are managed poorly, visible from traveler ratings and the public on the management of a tourist attraction less well categorized. This study aimed to describe: (a) planning, (b) organizing, (c) directing, and (d) supervision Tourist Attractions the Objek Wisata Pantai Air Manih. The results showed that the management of tourist attraction in the attractions Pantai Air Manih still limited in environmental management level manager. For the next plan of long-term planning as a marine tourism and short term to increase the number of tourists, the organizing manager of coordination but is still limited to oral and written, while briefing the manager at the attraction waiting for instructions from the department and on the supervision, management oversight carefully and remind each respective task management officers in the field.Keywords: Management, Tourist Attractions.

Abstract

This purpose of research is to see how big the influence of variable Direct Marketing (X) to Purchasing Decision at Grand Rocky Hotel Bukittinggi. The sample in this research were 97 people taken using the thechnique of sampling purposive sampling. The data collection was done with the questionnaire using scale likert that they are highly capable validity and reliability. This research result indicate that (1) the Direct Marketing in good category (78%), (2) the Purchasing Decision in good category (87%), (3) the Direct Marketing affect Purchasing Decision of 15,2% and 84,8% influenced by other factors. Then obtained regression coefficient value of 0,338 with a value of t 4,122 on sig. 0,000 < 0,05. This mean that each increase of 1 unit Direct Marketing will increase 0,338 unit of Customer DecisionKeywords: Direct Marketing, Purchasing Decision
