Abstract

This study aims to determine the management of kitchen necessities at Hotel Grand Zuri Padang. This research is a descriptive study using qualitative data with survey method. The sampling technique in this research is purposive sampling. This study consists of four indicators, namely management: Planning related to the objective to be achieved is to meet the needs of the guests at meal times, so that kitchen operations run smoothly and achieve the revenue targets that have been set hotel. Organizing related to the work to be done in managing the goods that check stock in chiller and banquet event order to know the event, an order item, perform an examination of the goods that come, and storage of goods into the chiller. The briefing conducted by chef and chef sake done by way of coordination and control. Control of inventory management is done by the chef needs kitchen and for the chef by controlling the way employees work, ensuring that the work is progressing in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and guidebooks that have been granted to employees.Keywords: management, stock, kitchen1 Prodi D4 Manajemen Perhotelan untuk wisuda periode September

Abstract

The purpose of research is to determine the tourist’s perceptions about thetraction of tourism Pemandian Tirta Alami Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. Thisresearch consists of four indicators are: attraction, accessibilities, amenities, andancillary services. This type of research is descriptive research using surveymethod. Population in this research amounted to 16478 people’s. Samplingtechnique is non probability sampling, using incidental sampling. Sample numberin this research amounted for 100 people’s. Data collection using a questionnairebased on a Likert scale that tested for validity and reliability. Based on the resultsof the study concluded that in general the tourist’s perceptions about the tractionof tourism Pemandian Tirta Alami Kabupaten Padang Pariaman at categorysufficiently with average’s is 173,79 distance of score in 168 – <210 byinterpretation 37%.

Abstract

This research purpose to know how satisfied the tourist about tourist attractionin Gandoriah Beach Pariaman which include three of tourism satisfiedindicators that are the fulfillment of tourist experctations, the desire to useproducts/services again, and the desire to promote products/services to others.This type of research is descriptive research using survey method. Populasi inthis research amounted to 222.884 people’s and for sample this researchamounted 100 people’s. Sampling technique is non probality sampling usingincidental sampling. Data collection using a questionnaire that tested forvalidity and realibility. Based on the result of the research shown that touristsatisfaction about tourism attraction of Pantai Gandoriah Pariaman tourism isfairly satisfy categorized with avarege value 94,41 at the range score 83-103with 44% percentage.Keyword: satisfied, tourist, tourist attraction, Gandoriah Beach Pariaman

Abstract

This research beginning from the information that researchers get the guest comment by September-December 2013 occurred guest complaints related to work procedures roomboy, covering room cleanliness, guest supplies completeness, neatness, and roomboy services. While working procedures roomboy can be seen from the standard operational procedure, consisting of grooming and behavior, preperation trolley cart, striping & dusting, making bed, cleaning the bath room, set up a guest supplies and rechecking. This research aims to describe how the implementation of work procedures roomboy Premier Basko Hotel in Padang.This research is a descriptive research with qualitative methods. This research was conducted in the Premier Basko Hotel Padang. Sample data source is roomboy, floor supervisor, and executive housekeeper at Premier Basko Hotel Padang. Data was collected by observation, interviews, and documentation of data subsequently analyzed using Miles and Huberman models by performing three stages: data reduction, data display, and conclusion.The research concluded that in general the implementation of work procedures roomboy namely: 1) There are eleven roomboy 18.1% of the working procedures that do not run well on the implementation of the grooming, 2) There are 72.7 % of the eleven roomboy not work properly implement procedures and right on routine preparation trolley cart, 3) There are 45.4 % of the eleven roomboy striping that does not do well and properly, and in the implementation of dusting all roomboy already doing well and in accordance with procedures, 4) There are 81.8 % of the eleven roomboy who do not perform the procedure making the bed is good and true, 5) 100 % or all roomboy not perform the cleaning procedure with a good bath room and not in accordance with the working procedures, 6) There are 63.6 % of the eleven who did seet up roomboy guest supplies are not in accordance with the working procedures, 7) There are 27.2 % of the eleven roomboy rechecking procedure that does not run well and was not in accordance with the prescribed procedure. The conclusion of this research is still a lack of understanding on the implementation of work procedures roomboy makeup room on the status of vacant dirty rooms at Premier Basko Hotel Padang.

Abstract

In General purpose, this research is to make an inventory of potential Nagari Barulak to be a tourist village. This study was a descriptive study with qualitative approach. The sampling technique is done by purposive sampling, data were collected by observation, interview, and documentation involving informants and respondents. According to the research, the authors found some potential, Barulak has (1) Cultural Attractions, they are Masjid Taqwa Barulak, Randai Sawahliek, Silek Kampuang Datuak Malano, Pulang Padi Limo Boleh, Batagak Panghulu, Yasinan Nagari, Khatam Alqurán, Pawai Pusuang, Pangek Lapuak, Saka Anau, Tujin Jaguang, Sambalado Baluik, Randang Talua dan Kawa Daun, (2) Nature Attraction : Siboji, Puncak Kubu, Puncak Batu, Batu Baroda, Batu Kursi, Kebun Kol, Ghimau Aka (Macan Tutul), Kambing Super Boncah (3) Sepcial interest tourism: Manyuluah, Malukah, Tambakau, Baburu Kondiak. Nagari Barulak adequate public transportation such as public transportation and buses, besides Nagari Barulak have a tourist village infrastructure, such as irrigation systems, communication networks, health facilities, terminals, power supply, sewerage, roads to the security system. Barulak also has a complete tourist facilities such as Tower House, Rumah Gadang and Villa boncah highway as accommodation, 3 restaurants, traditional markets, and Barulak has public facilities such as mosque and toilet. And the important thing, Barulak communities themselves also have the courtesy, respect and hospitality to tourists.Keywords: Inventory, Potential, Tourism Village

Abstract

The study aims to determine the application of employee personal hygiene food processors catering business which in terms of: (a) public health, (b) personal hygiene and (c) clothing kitchen food processors in Padang State University campus. This study is a descriptive study with quantitative and qualitative approaches. The type of data in this study in terms of primary data include 1) the owner of a catering business 2) employees of food processing and 3) the customers who visit. This study used purposive sampling technique sampling technique with particular consideration. Based on the results of the study found several issues related to the application of the personal hygiene of food processing businesses catering services, namely: 1) in general 50% of informants food processors do not pay attention to sleep and recreation in public health, 2) as much 20% -100% of informants food processors do not pay attention to the cleanliness of hands, fingernails and toes, nose, mouth, teeth and feet, 3) 60% -100% of informants do not pay attention to hygiene food processors used clothing ranging from aprons, headgear and footwear. Abstract

This research aimed to describe the perception of tourists about tourist destinations Wildlife Park and Kinantan’s Culture in Bukittinggi terms of indicators attractions, accessibility, amenitas, human resources, image and price. The population is tourists visiting tourist destinations Wildlife Park and Kinantan’s Culture in Bukittinggi numbered 53.853 peoples. Sampling technique using incidental sampling, are 100 peoples. Data was collected using a questionnaire and analyzed through descriptive analysis. The results showed that Perception of tourists about tourist destinations Wildlife Park and Kinantan’s Culture in Bukittinggi in the category quite well (87%). While based on the indicators: 1) Tourist attractions in the category quite well (65%), 2) accessibility in the category quite well (44%), 3) Amenitas in the category quite well (60%), 4) human resources in the category quite well (49%), 5) image in the category quite well (50%), 6) Prices in the category quite well (67%). Abstract

This research aimed to describe: (a) planning, (b) organizing, (c) direction and (d) supervision in the tourist bathing Tirta Alami Padang Pariaman district. Describe the aspects of facilities management based attractions such as (a) restaurant facilities, (b) and shopping facilities (c) facilities at tourist sites attractions baths Tirta Alami. This type of research is descriptive qualitative data. Data was collected using observation, interviews, and documentation involving informants inside that one person led part tourist attraction manager baths Tirta Alami, one staff manager attractions baths Tirta Alami, one community manager of the restaurant, and one community manager shopping facilities, a research instrument that determines the research instruments, data reduction, data presentation. Based on the results of the study found several issues related to the management of the facility attractions: 1) Attraction manager and manager of the baths Tirta Alami Attraction restaurants surrounding communities do not have a good plan for the future. 2) Attraction business already has a restaurant employee organization for the field of work each, 3) Managers control of the attraction of the restaurant focused on building control, employee and the restaurant menu. 4) Attraction business tirta baths naturally do briefed on employees and building rehabilitation. The results of the study suggested that leadership part tourism managers Tirta Alami Padang Pariaman district is already planning work for one year, organizing clear for employees attractions baths Tirta Alami, monitoring regularly and strict supervision of employees and provide sanctions for employees break and give rewards for employees who abide by the regulations attractions that management can function properly.Keywords: Management, Facilities, Attractions

Abstract

The purpose of research is to determine the foreign tourists’ perceptions about the quality of service of front desk agent four star hotels in Padang. This research consists of five indicators are: tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and epathy. The type of this research is descriptive research using survey method with population amounted to 310 people. Sampling technique is proportional random sampling with sample amounted to 76 people. The data was collected using a questionnaire based on a Likert scale that tested for validity and reliability. Based on the results of the study concluded that the foreign tourists’ perceptions about quality of service of front desk agent four star hotels in Padang are less in two indicators, assurance and empathy.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the perception of tourists on promotion and facilities Adityawarman museum in the city of Padang which includes indicators: Advertising (advertising), form, function, location, and quality. As the population is a tourist attraction in the city of Padang Museum Adityawarman numbering 77,389 people. Sampling technique as for the non-probability sampling is incidental sampling with number 100. Data was collected using a questionnaire and analyzed through descriptive analysis with categorization method based on the average assessment scores. Based on the analysis of data traveler perceptions about promotion Adityawarman museum in the city of Padang relatively less well with the average of 2.12 and a variable facility is quite good with an average of 3.37. Where the indicator 1) form of tourist facilities belong to either category with an average value of (3.63), 2) belong to the category of facility function quite well with the average value of (3.40), 3) the location of facilities classified the category quite well with the average value of (3.21), 4) the quality of tourist facilities belong to the category of fairly good with an average value of 3.32.Keyword: Perception, Promotion and Facility, Tourist.
