Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya muara sungai sebagai pertemuan ekosistem air tawar dan laut yang berperan krusial bagi kehidupan organisme perairan. Produktivitas primer perairan menjadi faktor penting untuk kelangsungan hidup biota di ekosistem perairan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat produktivitas primer berdasarkan sebaran klorofil-a fitoplankton dan kelimpahan fitoplankton, serta menganalisis kondisi lingkungan fisika dan kimia di muara tersebut. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pengukuran konsentrasi klorofil-a, perhitungan kelimpahan fitoplankton, dan pengukuran parameter fisika-kimia perairan. Hasil penelitian di Muara Sungai Nibung menunjukkan variasi tingkat kesuburan perairan dari oligotrofik hingga mesotrofik, dengan analisis klorofil-a tertinggi di stasiun 1 (muara sungai) sebesar 2,67 mg/m ³ (mesotrofik), terendah di stasiun 2 (dekat pemukiman) sebesar 1,63 mg/m ³ (oligotrofik), dan stasiun 3 (area mangrove) sebesar 2,14 mg/m ³ (mesotrofik). Produktivitas primer berdasarkan sebaran klorofil-a konsisten menunjukkan tingkat oligotrofik di semua stasiun, dengan nilai tertinggi di stasiun 1 (183,85 gC/m ³/hari) dan terendah di stasiun 2 (142,33 gC/m ³/hari), serta teridentifikasi 14 spesies fitoplankton dengan Synedra sp sebagai spesies dominan (324 Sel/m ³). Parameter lingkungan yang diukur meliputi suhu (28-30 °C), pH (6,4-6,77), DO (3,07-3,43 mg/L), kecerahan (48,7-64,3 cm), nitrat (1,0-2,0 mg/L) dan fosfat (1,5-2,1 mg/L), dimana nilai-nilai tersebut masih dalam rentang yang mendukung kehidupan organisme akuatik, meski parameter DO berada di bawah kondisi ideal.

Abstract

AbstrakIkan sembilang (Plotosus lineatus) merupakan salah satu ikan air payau yang didaratkan di PPI Sukadana. Ikan ini mendiami habitat estuari dan pantai. Nelayan di Kayong Utara menangkap berbagai jenis ikan, termasuk ikan sembilang, tenggiri, kerapu, udang, dan kepiting. Sumberdaya laut yang melimpah membuat daerah Kayong Utara menjadi pusat penangkapan ikan yang penting di Kalimantan Barat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui biologi reproduksi ikan sembilang yang meliputi rasio kelamin, Tingkat kematangan gonad, indeks kematangan gonad, dan fekunditas. Penelitian dilakukan selama 2 bulan, Penggambilan sampel ikan menggunakan random sampling. Penentuan kapal menggunakan accidental sampling. Hasil tangkapan ikan sembilang (Plotosus lineatus) yang diperoleh selama penelitian sebanyak 120 ekor, terdiri dari 74 ekor jantan dan 46 ekor betina. Tingkat kematangan gonad ikan sembilang jantan di Lokasi penelitian diperoleh TKG I-IV. Sedangkan ikan sembilang betina diperoleh TKG I-V. Nilai indeks kematangan gonad ikan jantan keseluruhan berkisar antara 0,07-9,06 lebih kecil jika dibandingkan dengan nilai keseluruhan indeks kematangan gonad ikan betina berkisar antara 0,28-17,62. Hasil penelitian fekunditas total ikan sembilang secara keseluruhan berkisar antara 1660-14020 butir telur dengan rata-rata 5477.Kata Kunci : Biologi, Ikan Sembilang, Reproduksi

Abstract

Produksi ikan tongkol di Pelabuhan Perikanan Pantai (PPP) Sungai Rengas meningkat 80,19% dari tahun 2020 ke 2021, hal ini menimbulkan kekhawatiran tentang dampak jangka panjang terhadap ekosistem perairan dan risiko overfishing. Dalam mendukung operasi penangkapan ikan tongkol dengan tingkat efektivitas dan efisiensi yang tinggi dapat dilakukan dengan mempertimbangkan musim penangkapan ikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan produksi dan menentukan pola musim penangkapan ikan tongkol. Data yang digunakan adalah data time series pada periode 2019-2023 dari PPP Sungai Rengas, yang meliputi produksi ikan tongkol dan upaya penangkapan (trip). Analisis data dilakukan dengan menghitung Catch Per Unit Effort (CPUE) dan Indeks Musim Penangkapan (IMP) yang menggunakan metode moving average. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai CPUE mengalami peningkatan dari tahun 2019 hingga 2023, peningkatan signifikan terjadi dari 2022 sebesar 1,87 ton/trip menjadi 3,79 ton/trip pada tahun 2023, hal tersebut menggambarkan bahwa adanya pemulihan sumber daya ikan tongkol akibat penurunan trip pada tahun 2022. Musim penangkapan ikan tongkol yang didaratkan di PPP Sungai Rengas terjadi pada bulan November, Januari, Februari, Maret dengan nilai IMP tertinggi yaitu 244,96% (Februari). Musim paceklik terjadi pada bulan April-Juli. Informasi musim penangkapan ikan dapat memberikan waktu yang tepat untuk melakukan operasi penangkapan optimal lestari.

Abstract

Dusun Tanjung Nibung yang berada di Pulau Maya, Kanyong Utara memiliki potensi sumberdaya perairan yang cukup besar, salah satunya adalah bivalvia. Bivalvia adalah jenis biota yang memiliki nilai ekonomis dan dimamfaatkan oleh masyarakat untuk dikonsumsi dan dijual. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Februari-Maret 2022. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman, keseragaman dan dominansi Bivalvia di daerah Dusun Tanjung Nibung. Pengambilan sampel bivalvia di bagi menjadi 3 stasiun pada plot berukuran 1 m2, dengan menggunakan metode purpose sampling. Hasil penelitian jenis bivalvia yang ditemukan terdiri dari 4 spesies yaitu Anadara granosa, Hiatula chinensis, Mactra grandi dan Amusium pleuronectes. Rata-rata indeks keanekaragaman keseluruhan bivalvia yaitu 0,64 atau termasuk kategori rendah, indeks keseragaman keseluruhan bivalvia yaitu 0,26 atau termasuk kategori rendah dan indeks dominansi 0.70 yang menunjukkan terdapat spesies yang mendominasi. Hasil pengukuran parameter lingkungan perairan berada dalam kisaran optimal, sesuai dengan standar baku mutu air laut untuk biota laut.

Abstract

This study aimed to assess the fish biodiversity in the waters of Meliau Village Kapuas Hulu Regency. Fish samples were collected during three periods: July and October 2013 and February 2015. The study area was divided into four sampling stations: Leboyan River, Balai Aram Lake, Lukuk Lake and Merebung Lake. In this study, 56 fish species were identified, they represent 35 genera and 20 families. Diversity index in the wet season was greater than the other seasons. The fish diversity of Leboyan river was the greater than the fish diversity of Balai Aram Lake. This study showed that the lakes (Balai Aram, Merebung and Lukuk) are considered to be important habitat for some target fish species like Leptobarbus menalopterus, Channa pleurophthalmus, C. mauriolides and C. micropeltes for their role in spawning and nursery ground. The value of Dissolved Oxygen and pH were environment factors which were not suitable for fish, while diversity index of plankton was classified as low-medium (1.0-2.16).

Abstract

Kakap River Estuary plays an essential role in the life organisms, but it is vulnerable to environmental changes and pollution caused by human activities. This study aims to assess the presence of plankton species, their abundance and diversity as aquatic ecological bio-indicators in Kakap River Estuary. Plankton and water samples were taken for three months, with a frequency of one sample per month, viz. in March, April and June 2020 from four sampling stations in Kakap River Estuary, West Kalimantan. A total of 34 species of plankton were observed from all sampling sites, and identified to belong to 18 classes. Chlorophyceae had the highest relative abundance among the phytoplanktons (40.10%), followed by Bacillariophyceae (21.86%) and Cyanophyceae (19.28%). Oscillatoria sp. and Hydrodictyon sp. were the most dominant phytoplankton species. There were 8 classes of zooplankton identified from all sampling stations throughout the research period. Hexanauplia had the highest relative abundance among the zooplanktons (36.56%) followed by Euglenophyceae (24.37%). The plankton diversity index (H ) values ranged between 2.33 -3.11. The plankton evenness index value ranged from 0.79 to 0.89 which indicates high plankton evenness at all samping stations, and this is supported by a low dominance index value at all stations ranging from 0.06-0.16. Station 1 had high Shannon-Wienner diversity index score, while for station 2, 3, 4, their scores were in the moderate level. Overall. the diversity index of the plankton from all sampling sites indicated that the quality of the water had no pollution to light pollution level.Keywords:PhytoplanktonZooplanktonWater quality

Abstract

ABSTRACT The beardless barb (Anematichthys apogon) is one of the dominant fish species in the Telabang River, Subah Village, Tayan Hilir, Sanggau Regency. However, there is little biological information, one of the important aspects of reproduction to help plan fisheries management. The main objective of this study was to determine some aspects of the reproductive biology, namely sex ratio, growth pattern, and fecundity. Biweekly sampling was conducted by using purposive sampling method from Juli to September 2018. The result showed that significant sex ratio was 2,2 : 1 (male : female). The significant different of sex ratio from the total length structure are fish measuring 60-69, 70-79, 80-89, 100-109, 110-119, and 120-129 mm. The relationship of total length and total weight was showing positive allometric of growth pattern for males (b = 3,44) and the combination of males and females (b = 3,41), meanwhile found the isometric pattern of growth for females (b = 3, 07). The total fecundity was about 430-1.703 eggs and relative fecundity is about 42 to 199,65 eggs/gram total weight of fish. The relationship between total fecundity with length and total weight showed that total fecundity had no relationship to the length and total weight of the beardless bard. iiKeyword : Reproductive Biology, Fecundity, Allometric, Isometric.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the level of diversity of fish caught by fishermen on the coast of the Desa Mendalok. The study used purposive random sampling method by selecting random fishermen based on the fishing gear used, those were 2.5 inch trawl, 7 inch trawl and 3 layer trawl. The study was conducted weekly from September to November 2018. The data collection includes primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained from catch fishermen, namely the number and fish species. Secondary data include mendalok village profile, fisheries data marine and fisheries agency of of west Kalimantan Province and rainfall and tides from Meteorological, Climatological and Geophysical Agency. The result showed that there were 35 species fish caught belonging 23 families. The result of this study showed gelama panjang fish (Otolithes ruber), tudung tempayan (Drepane punctata), and bulu ayam fish (Thryssa setirostris) for high frequency fish caught. Abstract

Sinanodonta woodiana is known as kijing taiwan which is mostly found in the irrigation flow of the village of Sambora Toho District Mempawah Distric. However, its existence is now experiencing a decline. For this reason, management is needed that requires data on morphometric and habitat characteristics. Therefore the purpose of this study was to determine the morphometric characteristics and habitat characteristics of S. woodiana in the irrigation flow of Sambora Village, Toho District, Mempawah Regency. The research method used was Purposive Random Sampling, using three different observation stations, namely station 1 is in the upstream part of the irrigation area close to a waterfall of oil palm plantations and freshwater fish cultivation ponds, station 2 is in an area adjacent to freshwater fish cultivation ponds and settlements, and station 3 is in a downstream area close to factory waste disposal tofu, freshwater fish farming ponds, and oil palm plantations.This research was conducted in March - May 2020 in the irrigation flow of Sambora Village, Toho District, Mempawah Regency. Based on the results of the study, there were 565 individuals of S. woodiana. All characters of mean shell length (PC), shell height (TC), shell thickness (TBL), and total weight (BT) show that the size varies between male and female sex, the female sex is greater than the male sex. The density values ranged from 0.37 to 3.02ind / m2. The density between stations is different and the highest is at station I and the lowest is at station III. Abstract

This study aims to determine the structure of the fish community in the waters of Lake Terentang. Subah Village, TayanHilir District, Sanggau Regency, West Kalimantan Province. This research was conducted from July to October 2019, by taking 3 sampling points. Sampling was done 3 times at each station; at 08.00 AM -10.00 AM; 12.00 AM - 02.00 PM;05.00 PM -07.00 AM, each repeated 3 times using atrawl (gill net) with a 1.5 inches mesh size, a cast net with 1.4 inchesmesh sizeand a Bubu (traditional fish trap). Plankton sampling uses plankton net and water quality research carried out in situ while doing the fish sampling. The results showed that the fish caught totaling 1728 individuals, 19 species, 16 genera from 9 families. The species that are dominant are from the Cyprinidaefamily(7 species) and then Osphronemidae (3 species) and the least is from the Claridaeand Siluridae each of 1 species. Diversity Index (H ') based on fishing gear ranged from 2.09 to 2.52 with moderate category, Uniformity (E') ranged from 0.83 to 0.89 in the high category and Dominance (C) ranged from 0.11 to 0.26 low category. Plankton abundance obtained a total of 1009 plankton were observed which are divided into 14 species. The results of several parameters of the quality of the Lake Terentang Lake are still suitable for the life of the organism.Kata Kunci : Composition of fish species, diversity index, dominance, uniformity and RLG (Relative Length of Gut)
