Abstract

The lack of support hampers the performance of female legislators. This is one of the obstacles in achieving 30 percent female representation in the legislature. In its implementation, there has been a law that regulates political parties and elections that provides opportunities for women to enter politics and participate in parliament. This study aims to find out the comparison of the implementation of women's representation in members of the Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) in Sukoharjo Regency in the 2014-2019 period and the 2019-2024 period and the factors that cause instability in women's representation in the DPRD. The author uses empirical juridical research methods and uses primary and secondary data sources. The authors collected data through literature studies and field studies. The data collection method was carried out by observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The data analysis method is used to analyze data obtained from literature studies and interview results, which are then analyzed descriptively and qualitatively to obtain the facts and realities revealed in the research. The results of the study show that first, the representation of women in the membership of the DPRD in Sukoharjo Regency in the 2014-2019 period and the 2019-2024 period has not been able to meet 30 percent of women's representation. When presented in the 2014-2019 period, women's representation was 15.56%, while in the 2019-2024 period, women's representation was 22.22%. Although it has increased, the increase has not been able to meet the 30% representation of women in the legislature. The government continues to strive to fulfill the 30% percentage of female representation. Furthermore, the factors that cause instability in women's representation include political and cultural barriers, obstacles from within women, social and economic obstacles to candidacy

Abstract

Background: Land and building asset management is an important aspect in ensuring the sustainability of good school governance. This community service activity aims to improve the capacity of asset management at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Wates through advocacy, asset certification, training in the use of information systems, and the preparation of sustainable management strategies. Method: The methods used include observation, interviews, document studies, and information technology simulations using the Muhammadiyah Asset Management Information System (SIMAM) application. Result: The results show that the school has a total land asset area of 4,500 m² with varying ownership statuses, namely certified property, uncertified property, and leased property. The existence of assets that have not been certified indicates the need to accelerate legal advocacy. In addition, SIMAM training has succeeded in increasing the understanding of school administrators regarding digital-based asset recording. This activity also produces a structured and sustainability-oriented asset management strategy, including the use of assets for educational activities and school economic development. Conclusion: This activity is expected to be a model for institutional empowerment in other schools with similar characteristics.

Abstract

There are still few studies on sexual harassment toward boys. In society, there is still a lot of skepticism and stigma about whether boys can be perpetrators or victims of sexual harassment. The purpose of this study was to explore the occurrence of sexual violence towards boys, such as the dynamics of the perpetrators and victims, the motivation of the perpetrators to commit sexual violence, and the impact of sexual violence on victims. This study used a descriptive qualitative method, with 17 subjects aged 0–18. The data collection used a study of documents collected from trial facts in the Directory of Supreme Court Decisions. The data were analyzed by the N-Vivo application for data processing, management, ideas, queries, visualization, and reporting. This study found that imitation was the main trigger for perpetrators to commit sexual harassment. From the victim's side, the impact the victim feels is a feeling of trauma, depression, and sensitivity. The role of the environment and online media needs attention in preventing and handling sexual violence against children.

Abstract

For an extended period, education institutions have functioned independently, resulting in a notable disparity in educational quality. The Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) promotes collaboration between educational institutions and schools, with the aim of serving as mentors for joint program development. This groundbreaking research delves deeply into the pivotal roles played by both lecturers and students within the MBKM program. They emerge as mentors in the crusade for implementing anti-corruption education within the dynamic context of Sekolah Penggerak, also known as the driving school program (DSP). Conducted as a qualitative descriptive study, this research draws its data from the collaborative efforts between higher education institutions and schools in developing anti-corruption education, leading to recognition from the Indonesian Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK-RI). The data collection process unfolds through a meticulously orchestrated combination of observations, in-depth interviews, and thorough documentation. The findings of this study are nothing short of transformative, as they underscore how the active involvement of MBKM’s lecturers and students in anti-corruption education serves as a potent catalyst, reinforcing the integrity zone policy within the DSP program. This seamless integration of anti-corruption education with Islamic education, encompassing profound concepts like riswah (bribery), ghulul (betrayal), and mukabarah-ghasab (seizing), represents a paradigm shift in pedagogical strategies.
