Abstract

This study examines the green skills-based job readiness training model to prepare graduates to enter the workforce in order to overcome the challenges of the transition to new environmentally friendly jobs through the Research & Development method or abbreviated as R & D, with a mixed methods approach (quantitative and qualitative) which aims to find an effective green skills-based job readiness training model to prepare graduates to enter the workforce, especially in various environmentally friendly job schemes. Through in-depth interviews, FGDs and questionnaires, this study found that respondents realized the importance of green skills-based job readiness training, felt its benefits, and showed a positive attitude towards the developed training model. The conceptual training model is based on rational aspects, assumptions, objectives, principles, strategies, procedures, competencies and success indicators. Meanwhile, the implementation of the training model refers to six main steps, namely getting started, planning, generation and evaluation of green productivity options, implementation of green productivity options, monitoring and review, and sustaining green productivity.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has had a significant impact on family parenting patterns, particularly with young children's use of gadgets. Children often experience excessive use of digital devices without supervision, as many parents lack adequate digital literacy skills. This community service activity aims to improve parents' understanding and skills in managing their children's use of gadgets through a natural digital literacy approach. The activity was carried out at PAUD SPNF-SKB, Central Bengkulu Regency, on October 8-22, 2025, involving 26 parents of PAUD students. Participants engaged in hands-on workshops that demonstrated effective strategies for setting boundaries and fostering healthy tech habits. By empowering parents with knowledge, the initiative sought to create a more balanced relationship between children and their digital devices, ultimately enhancing family dynamics and children's overall well-being. The implementation methods included participatory counseling, interactive training, and assistance through home visits and online communication. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in parents' knowledge and attitudes regarding digital parenting. The average score on the pretest was 5.15 (42.9%), and it went up to 10.77 (89.8%) on the posttest. During the training phase, all participants successfully developed a digital family agreement containing rules for gadget use at home, with 77% committing to consistent implementation and 33% planning to implement it gradually. The results of the mentoring showed a decrease in the duration of children's gadget use from an average of 3-4 hours per day to 1-1.5 hours per day, as well as an increase in children's interest in non-digital activities such as reading, drawing, and playing outdoors. In addition, 77% of participants reported an increase in emotional closeness with their children after applying the principles of digital literacy based on human nature. This activity proves that the natural-based digital literacy approach is effective in improving parental competencies in the digital age while strengthening family relationships.

Abstract

Background: Bullying among adolescents remains a serious social problem in Indonesia, including in rural areas experiencing rapid digitalization. Parenting styles and increasing exposure to social media are key factors influencing aggressive behavior and bullying among adolescents. Research Objectives: This study aims to analyze the influence of parenting styles and social media exposure on bullying behavior among adolescents in Sukaharja Village, Bogor Regency. Research Method: This study employed an explanatory quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. A total of 245 adolescents aged 12–18 years were selected using stratified random sampling. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using Pearson correlation and multiple linear regression. Research Findings: The results show that parenting style has a significant negative effect on bullying behavior, while social media exposure has a significant positive effect. The regression model explains 35.4% of the variance in adolescent bullying behavior, with age and gender also showing significant influence. Conclusion: Positive and authoritative parenting combined with parental guidance in social media use plays a crucial role in reducing bullying behavior among rural adolescents. Novelty/Originality/Value: This study provides empirical evidence on the combined influence of parenting styles and social media exposure on bullying behavior in a rural Indonesian context, offering a holistic perspective for family- and community-based bullying prevention strategies.
