Abstract

This study introduces the development of a digital learning environment in the form of an electric diorama (DIOTRIK) based on Augmented Reality (AR), designed using the theme Natural Scenery and Its Utilization to enhance science knowledge among fifth-grade elementary students. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach, adapting the Borg and Gall model. The experimental design used in the field test was a One-Group Pretest–Posttest Design. Data were collected through interviews, surveys, experiments, and documentation. The results of the media validation showed that the diorama design was categorized as very valid by media experts with a score of 98%, and valid by material experts with a score of 73%, indicating that the developed product is highly feasible for use. The effectiveness of the learning environment was reflected in the posttest average score of 89.28 compared to the pretest average of 58.03. The N-Gain value of 0.782 falls into the high category (0.70 ? n ? 1.00). Thus, the use of visual aids such as the DIOTRIK AR diorama positively impacts students’ learning outcomes compared to learning without visual support.

Abstract

Corrective feedback plays a crucial role in the teaching and learning process, particularly in developing students' writing skills. This research explores English language students' perceptions of lecturers' corrective feedback in writing classes and its impact on their writing motivation. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through questionnaires and interviews from 15 participants. The findings reveal that students have a positive perception of the corrective feedback provided by lecturers during writing classes. They perceive the feedback as beneficial in enhancing their understanding of writing tasks and identifying areas for improvement. Notably, only 27% of students acknowledged experiencing negative emotions such as sadness, confusion, or disappointment when unable to comprehend the lecturers' feedback. Overall, students greatly appreciate the oral and written corrective feedback, as it substantially aids in developing their writing proficiency. Furthermore, the study highlights the positive impact of lecturers' feedback on students' motivation in writing, fostering enthusiasm, focus, and a willingness to learn. These findings underscore the importance of effective corrective feedback strategies in enhancing students' writing skills and sustaining their motivation in the learning process.

Abstract

This study explores EFL students' perceptions and experiences regarding the implementation of the Think-Pair-Share (TPS) strategy to enhance reading comprehension. Recognizing the vital role of reading skills in language development and academic success, the research investigates how TPS facilitates active learning, critical thinking, and collaboration among students. Data were collected through interviews with seven participants and questionnaires from twenty-four students majoring in English Language Education at Nahdlatul Ulama Sunan Giri University during the 2022/2023 academic year. The findings reveal that the majority of students view TPS as a highly effective and enjoyable strategy that improves their understanding of reading texts, builds confidence, and fosters peer interaction. Despite these positive outcomes, students face challenges such as limited time for discussion, difficulty in expressing ideas, and differences in background knowledge, which can hinder discussion quality. The study highlights the importance of teachers considering students' abilities and providing appropriate guidance to maximize the strategy’s benefits. Overall, TPS proves to be a valuable approach in motivating students, increasing their engagement, and improving reading comprehension skills.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to create a product developed from the 4th grade elementary school learning environment in the form of augmented reality-based comic book. In this research, ADDIE is used in a series of processes including analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation (research and development) of models and development methods. The measurement tools used by researchers in this research are tests and questionnaires. Product validation tests are carried out by material, media and language experts, and surveys are evaluated by class teachers. Expert validation testing shows over 87% effectiveness. The eligibility test will be carried out 100% by the class teacher. Meanwhile, the calculated average category growth rate increased by 93.6%.

Abstract

Thist study aims to develop a learning media called DIOSIR (Water Cycle Diorama) based on Augmented Reality to enhance the learning motivation of fifth-gradet elementaryt school studentst. The researcht approacht used ist Researcht and Developmentt (R&Dt), following the development steps of the Borg and Gall model. Datat weret collectedt usingt four mtethodst: interviewst, observationst, questionnairest, and documentationt. The resultst showedt thatt the media received a validity score of 92% from media experts and 90% from content experts, both of which fall into the "very valid" category. Furthermore, teachers' responses indicated a feasibility level of 100%, which is categorized as "highly feasible." Meanwhile, students' responses showed that the DIOSIR media had a positive impact and was effectively able to increase learning motivation, as indicated by an average N-Gain score of 0.6029, which is categorized as moderate.

Abstract

Adanya berbagai permasalahan dalam proses pembelajaran matematika sepertii kurangnya keaktifan siswa dalam proses belajar, kurangnya inovasi media guru dalam mengajar, dan kurangnya kemampuan matematis siswa menjadi latar belakang dalam penelitian ini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hasil dan peningkatan kemampuan matematis siswa dalam penerapan gerak kinestetik tari melalui congklak. Metode yang dipilih adalah penelitian tindak kelas (PTK) dengan tiga siklus. Hasiil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan gerak kinestetik tari berbantuan media congklak dapat meningkatkan kemampuan matematis siswa, terutama dalam konsep penjumlahan dan pengurangan. peningkatan kemampuan matematis siswa terlihat dari hasil tes yang diilakukan selama penelitian yaitu, dengan presentasi 87.5% siswa yang tuntas di siklus III. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa, penerapan gerak kinestetik tari dengan media congklak dapat menjadi alternatif metode pembelajaran matematika yang efektif.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengkaji pengembangan media kartu kuartet berbasis edutainment dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca intensif melalui tahap uji kevalidan dan kelayakan media kepada ahli media, ahli materi, ahli bahasa dan respon guru. Metode yang digunakan Research and Development (RD) dengan model ASSURE milik Iskandar yang terdiri dari 6 tahapan, (1) menganalisis karakteristik siswa, (2) menetapkan standar pembelajaran, (3) memilih media, metode, dan materi, (4) menggunakan media, metode, dan materi, (5) mendorong siswa, (6) evaluasi dan revisi. Setelah dilakukan observasi awal didapatkan perlunya tindakan pengembangan media kartu kuartet berbasis edutainment materi unsur teks bacaan dalam menunjang keterampilan membaca intensif pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia secara optimal. Berdasarkan tindakan hasil penelitian tersebut, diperoleh bahwa peningkatan keterampilan membaca intensif sebanyak 21 siswa setelah menggunakan media kartu kuartet melalui perhitungan rumus n-gain score dari data nilai pre – test dan post – test memperoleh presentase 71% kriteria “Tinggi”. Peneliti, simpulkan peningkatan keterampilan membaca intensif melalui uji kevalidan dan kelayakan media kartu kuartet berbasis edutainment yang telah peneliti lakukan dikatakan lebih baik dari sebelumnya.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a Wordwall-assisted Smart Card with a focus on ecosystem material, as well as increasing students' Adversity Quotient. In addition, this research also aims to test the effect of using Smart Cards assisted by Wordwall on Adversity Quotient abilities in grade V elementary school students. The approach used in this research is Research and Development (R&D), following the development steps proposed by Borg and Gall. The results of validation from media experts showed a score of 95%, while validation from material experts obtained a score of 94%. Both results are included in the "Very Valid" category. Based on student responses, the use of Smart Card media assisted by Wordwall showed a significant increase in the experimental class. This is evidenced by the results of the paired t-test whichmshows a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.00 which is smaller than 0.05. On the other hand, the control class also showed a significance result (2-tailed) of 0.003 which is also smaller than 0.05. In the hypothesis test, analysis using the Independent t-test resulted in a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.001 which is smaller than 0.05. Thus, the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted.

Abstract

Tingkat penggunaan MyPertamina di kalangan pekerja Pertamina masih relatif rendah meskipun perusahaan mendorong transformasi digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan menggali persepsi pekerja terhadap penggunaan MyPertamina dan merumuskan strategi peningkatan adopsi dengan menggunakan teori UTAUT. Melalui metode kualitatif deskriptif, wawancara dilakukan kepada delapan pekerja Pertamina dari berbagai entitas dan generasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, dan facilitating conditions berpengaruh terhadap keputusan penggunaan, namun konsistensi aplikasi yang belum stabil, persepsi urgensi rendah, keberadaan alternatif pembayaran lain, serta kampanye internal yang terbatas menjadi hambatan utama. Penelitian ini mengusulkan strategi peningkatan penggunaan melalui integrasi MyPertamina dengan skema payroll, penguatan sosialisasi internal, perbaikan stabilitas aplikasi, dan perluasan insentif berbasis reward.

Abstract

Anak-anak dari orang tua yang bercerai seringkali mengalami dampak psikologis dan sosial yang parah, seperti penurunan prestasi akademik. Untuk mengurangi dampak buruk perceraian terhadap prestasi akademik siswa kelas VIII di SMP Islam Ibnu Mas'ud, penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengetahui inisiatif internalisasi nilai-nilai Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi terhadap anak-anak yang pernah bercerai dan pasangannya, guru PAI, dan wali kelas digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa dapat memperoleh sikap positif terhadap lingkungan sosial dan akademik, mempertahankan motivasi belajar, dan memperkuat ketahanan diri mereka dengan menginternalisasi nilai-nilai Islam termasuk kesabaran, kepercayaan, rasa syukur, dan kejujuran. Guru dan pengelola sekolah menggunakan pendekatan individual, pembinaan rohani, dan pembelajaran PAI untuk melaksanakan internalisasi. Oleh karena itu, mengasimilasi prinsip-prinsip Islam telah terbukti menjadi strategi pencegahan dan perbaikan yang berhasil terhadap penurunan prestasi akademis yang disebabkan oleh perceraian orang tua.
