Abstack: Teaching experience is a task to be done by teachers with supporting factors and increase knowledge in the work. Labor discipline is an attitude of respect, honor, obey and comply with applicable regulations without violating the rules that have been defined. Teacher performance is the result of work that has been accomplished by a teacher as an educator to achieve educational goals. This study aims to determine the effect of teaching and discipline of work on teacher performance. The population in this study are all teachers of SMK Labor Binaan FKIP UNRI, using sampling techniques through sampling methods saturated. Data were collected using questionnaires and documentation. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis, t test and F test with significance level of 0.05%. Based on the research showed that the experience of teaching and discipline simultaneously positive and significant impact on teacher performance. It is based on the analysis results, which show the calculation results F test > F table (11.656 > 3.316). Furthermore, by t test to determine whether each of the independent variables affect the dependent variable. The results showed a partial teaching experience no significant effect on the performance of teachers. This is evidenced in which t test < t table (1.691 < 2.042). Further to the work discipline variable indicates that a significant effect on the performance of teachers. This is evidenced in which thitung> t table (4.620> 2.042). The predictive ability of the two variables on the performance of teachers in the study amounted to 43.7% (R Square .437) while the remaining 56.3% is influenced by other factors which are not included in this study.Keywords: teaching experience, work discipline, teacher performance.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keadaan disposisi berpikir kritis siswa, faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi disposisi berpikir kritis siswa serta solusi untuk meningkatkan disposisi berpikir kritis siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika di kelas XI IPS pada salah satu Sekolah Menengah Atas di Kota Sungai Penuh Provinsi Jambi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian lapangan pada siswa Jurusan Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS). Secara ontologi, terdapat dugaan bahwa siswa IPS memiliki tingkat disposisi (sikap positif) yang rendah terhadap mata pelajaran Matematika. Sementara itu secara epistemologi, disposisi berpikir kritis matematis siswa IPS sangat berguna pada kehidupan sehari-hari. Objek penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa Kelas IX IPS 1 SMA Negeri 5 Sungai Penuh yang berjumlah 23 orang dengan 1 orang Guru Matematika sebagai informan penelitian. Penelitian ini menggunakan Angket (Kuesioner) Disposisi Berpikir Kritis, Pedoman Wawancara untuk Guru dan Siswa serta Lembar Observasi Aktivitas Guru dan Siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh bahwa: 1) terdapat 5 orang siswa (22%) memiliki disposisi berpikir kritis yang tinggi; 2) terdapat 13 orang siswa (56%) memiliki disposisi berpikir kritis yang sedang; dan 3) terdapat 5 orang siswa (22%) memiliki disposisi berpikir kritis yang rendah. Rendahnya disposisi berpikir kritis siswa IPS dapat ditanggulangi dengan memberikan strategi pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa IPS dalam pembelajaran matematika serta diklat peningkatan kompetensi guru seperti PKB dan PKP. Kata Kunci : disposisi, berpikir kritis, kualitatif, deskriptif, siswa IPS, ontologi, epistemologi ABSTRACT This study aim to analyze the condition of studentsâ€™ critical thinking disposition, all factors that affect studentsâ€™ critical thinking disposition, and the solution to improve studentsâ€™ critical thinking disposition in mathematics learning at XI IPS grade in one of the senior high school in Sungai Penuh City, Jambi Province. This study is a qualitative research using descriptive approach with field research type on Social (IPS) Major Students. Ontologically, there is a notion that IPS students has a lower disposition (positive attitude) through Mathematics subject. Otherwise, epistemologically, studentsâ€™ critical thinking disposition on IPS students is usefull in their daily life. The object of this study is all of XI IPS 1 state senior high school (SMA) 5 students that contain 23 students with 1 mathematics teacher as the research informer. This study use critical thinking disposition quationnaire, interview guidelines for teacher and students then observation sheet for teacher and studentâ€™s activity. According to the data analysis result, obtain that: 1) there are 5 students (22%) has higher critical thinking disposition; 2) there are 13 students (56%) has medium critical thinking disposition; and 3) there are 5 students (22%) has lower critical thinking disposition. The lowerness of IPS studentsâ€™ critical thinking disposition can be solved by applicate learning strategies that can improve IPS studentsâ€™ critical thinking disposition in learning mathematics and a training to improve teacher competence like PKB dan PKP. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) pada materi Persamaan dan Pertidaksamaan Linear Satu Variabel. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan Plomp yang terdiri dari penelitian pendahuluan (preliminary research), tahap pengembangan (prototyping stage) dan tahap penilaian (assessment phase). Rancangan LKPD divalidasi oleh pakar dan diujicoba. Instrumen validitas menggunakan lembar validasi dan instrumen praktikalitas menggunakan angket respon guru dan angket respon peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKPD berbasis Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) yang dihasilkan telah memenuhi kriteria kualitas produk yang valid dan praktis. Rata-rata indeks validitas pada semua aspek adalah 0,797 dengan kategori valid, sehingga dapat direkomendasikan untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran khususnya pada materi Persamaan dan Pertidaksamaan Linear Satu Variabel. Indeks rata-rata angket respon peserta didik adalah 84,478% dengan kategori sangat praktis dan indeks rata-rata angket respon guru adalah 87,222 % dalam penggunaan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis Realistic Mathematic Education (RME).

Cucumber fruit extract is known to contain several secondary metabolites such as flavonoids, saponins, and alkaloids which have antioxidant effect that are useful in making soap.This study aims to determine the effect of cucumber fruit extract on solid soap quality standards. Cucumber fruit is extraxted by maceration method and making VCO (Virgin Coconut Oil) with traditional method. Condensed extract of cucumber fruits is formulated into soap preparations with a concentration of 1g, 2g and 3g. The physical evaluation parameters of the preparation studied were organoleptic tests. pH tests, Moisture content tests and free alkali content tests which were carried out every week at room temperature storage for a period of 4 weeks. The results showed that the VCO (Virgin Coconut Oil) soap formula with cucumber fruit extract produced solid soap that was stable in organoleptic testing, and met the pH standard of solid soap

The implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in madrasahs, guided by the Ministry of Religious Affairs Regulation (KMA) Number 347 in 2022, offers both advantages and challenges. This policy empowers madrasahs in Indonesia to develop education unit-level curricula that cater to the specific needs and management of education. The advantages of implementing the Merdeka Curriculum lie in its ability to respect and enhance Islamic education. Madrasahs can emphasize religious understanding, Quranic studies, and character education, enabling students to deepen their religious knowledge and strengthen their religious identities. Moreover, the curriculum's flexibility allows madrasahs to tailor educational experiences to the needs, social contexts, and local cultures of their students, making learning more relevant and meaningful. By incorporating practical and contextual subjects, the Merdeka Curriculum facilitates the development of broader skills, equipping students with academic, social, and life skills essential for their holistic growth. However, challenges arise in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum. Educators need comprehensive training and professional development to effectively design and implement a flexible curriculum. Ensuring consistent education standards across madrasahs is also crucial, as the freedom to determine curricula may result in variations. Integration with the national curriculum is essential to ensure that fundamental subjects such as literacy, numeracy, and general knowledge are adequately covered.

Child-friendly schools, or SRA for short, are schools that prioritize the safety, welfare, and rights of their students and take steps to ensure that they are free from threats of violence and discrimination. The purpose of this study is to Describe the Planning, Implementation, and Monitoring Implementation of the Child-Friendly School Program at SDIT An-Nur, Muara Jambi Regency. A qualitative research method with a descriptive approach is used in this study. The results of the study showed: 1) The planning that was completed at SDIT An-Nur, Muaro Jambi Regency, succeeded in meeting the standard requirements for SRA program planning. 2) The implementation of a Child-Friendly School at SDIT An-Nur, Muara Jambi Regency, was very successful and met the SRA indicators and received an award from the City Education Office at the Green School Festival activity with the nomination of the best SD-S at the Child-Friendly School level in Jambi City. 3) For monitoring, the researcher sent a pre-made questionnaire to representatives of the principal and teaching staff at SDIT An-Nur in Muara Jambi Regency and asked them to fill it out. Then the questionnaire was reviewed by the relevant agencies and services. The evaluation of the SRA program at SDIT An-Nur, Muara Jambi Regency, was compared and contrasted with the overall program evaluation.

This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach to explore high school students' understanding of algebraic concepts in Sungai Penuh City. The sample consists of 30 10th-grade students who were subjects of the study, assessed using a validated algebraic concept understanding test. The research process involved introducing the research objectives to the students and administering the test with adequate time. Data analysis was conducted descriptively to identify answer patterns, challenges faced by students, and the level of understanding of algebraic concepts demonstrated. Findings indicate significant challenges in students' mathematical concept comprehension, particularly in grasping basic concepts such as algebraic terms and the use of mathematical representations. To enhance students' understanding, it is recommended to implement a holistic learning approach that strengthens foundational concepts, integrates various mathematical representations, and provides direct problem-solving experiences. This research is expected to contribute to improving the effectiveness of mathematics education at the high school level.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, the implementation of learning in schools underwent a change from face-to-face learning in class to online learning. One form of online defense that is carried out at SMPN 3 Sungaipuh is learning mathematics using the Photomath application. The purpose of this study was to determine the planning, implementation, evaluation and constraints encountered in learning Mathematics using the photomath application. This type of research use a descriptive qualitative analysis approach. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study are that in implementing Mathematics learning assisted by the photomath application in solving Mathematics problems can be done in 4 stages, namely: (1) The planning stage, which starts from the stage in recognizing the photomath application and downloading it on the teacher's and students' android. (2) The stage of implementing the photomath application, which is the stage that starts from writing questions, taking photos and scanning questions, answering questions and solving steps in the photomath application, copying questions, working on practice questions, and evaluation/assessment, (3) Evaluation results Mathematics learning with the help of the photomath application has been going well as seen from the 20 grade VIII students of SMPN 3 Sungai Full who managed to solve the problems well as many as 15 people. (4) Constraints/weaknesses in using the photomath application are difficult for students who do not have an Android which will make students only copy answers. Based on the results of the research above, researchers suggest using the photomath application to help teachers teach students to answer sample questions quickly and in complete steps -the steps.
