Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) the mathematical fluency procedural ability of students taught using the peer lesson learning model and those not taught with the peer lesson learning model in class VIII, and (2) the effect of the peer lesson learning model on the mathematics procedural fluency ability of grade VIII students . The population in this study was grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 11 Sungai Penuh, for the study sample consisted of 2 classes from 3 classes in the population, the samples in this study were taken by random sampling technique in which class VIII B was an experimental class and class VIII C was a control class. . Based on the results of research using the t-test for hypothesis testing, it was found that the peer lesson learning model affected the mathematical procedural fluency ability of students in class VIII.

Abstract

Abstract

Personnel data management in the military is a crucial aspect in supporting the operational effectiveness of units. This study aims to design and implement a web-based Personnel Information System (Sisfopers) at Kogartap II/Bandung to make data management more efficient, secure, and integrated with the existing military IT infrastructure. The research method employed is developmental research (R&D) with a qualitative-descriptive approach, supplemented by data collection through literature review, observation, interviews, and documentation. The system is developed using the SDLC (Waterfall) model and UML to model functional requirements and process flows. The results indicate that the developed Sisfopers can accelerate administrative processes, maintain the security and integrity of personnel data, and support data-driven decision-making by the leadership. This study is expected to serve as a reference for the development of personnel information systems in other military environments

Abstract

Teacher interpersonal communication is an important factor influencing the quality of both the learning process and learning outcomes, particularly in mathematics, which is often perceived as a difficult subject by students. This study aims to analyze students’ perceptions of the interpersonal communication of mathematics teachers at SMA Negeri 3 Sungai Penuh. The study employed a descriptive quantitative approach involving 25 students as respondents. Data were collected through a closed-ended questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability and were supported by classroom observations. The research instrument consisted of five indicators of interpersonal communication: openness, empathy, mutual support, positive attitude, and similarity. The results indicate that students’ perceptions of mathematics teachers’ interpersonal communication are categorized as good, with percentages of 78.25% for openness, 77.75% for empathy, 78% for mutual support, 76.5% for positive attitude, and 85.25% for similarity. However, several aspects still require improvement, particularly in terms of equitable distribution of attention and appreciation of students’ efforts. These findings suggest that improving the quality of teachers’ interpersonal communication has the potential to create a more inclusive, conducive, and effective mathematics learning environment. Therefore, it is recommended that mathematics teachers continuously develop their interpersonal communication skills through reflective teaching practices and ongoing professional development to support the improvement of mathematics learning quality.

Abstract

lThis studyl aimsl to analyze lthe effectiveness lof using lKahoot lgame-basedl learningl media lin increasingl lstudents' mathematicsl learning motivation viewed from impulsive and reflective learning styles of grade VIII students at MTsN 1 Kerinci. This researchl employed lan experimentall method withl la Control Group Post Test-Only lDesign. lThe research samplel consisted lof 41 students divided into experimental classl (VIII A, 20 students) and control class (VIII D, 21 students) selectedl through lrandom lsampling. Research instrumentsl included llearning motivationl questionnaires and impulsive-reflective learning style questionnaires. Datal were analyzedl using independentl t-testl and ltwo-way lANOVA. The resultls showed significant differences in learning motivation between experimental and control groups (t_count = 4.523 > t_table = 2.023; p < 0.05). Students with impulsive learning styles demonstrated higher motivation improvement (mean = 78.45) compared to reflective students (mean = 74.32) when using Kahoot. Therel was al significant linteraction effectl between llearning medial land learning style (F = 6.847; p < 0.05). lThis study lconcludes that lKahoot is leffective in lincreasing mathematics llearning motivation, especially for students with impulsive learning styles.
