Abstract

Abstract : This research is titled The Readability of Indonesian Text Book and Reading Comprehension Students of Class X SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru. This study aims to describe the relationship between the readability of Indonesian texts and reading the understanding of students of class X SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru. The data of this research is the result of Indonesian language readability test and reading comprehension ability of class X students of SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru consisting of 13 parallel classes with population 415 students and sample size 204 students. Technique of collecting data by giving test of Indonesian text readability and comprehension reading test. To find out whether or not the value expected by the students is calculated using chi square, to find out whether there are differences in mean groups between samples is calculated using Kruskall Wallis, and to find the relationship between the readability of Indonesian texts and reading comprehension is calculated using Rank Order correlation. Based on the research, it is found that (1) the readability of Indonesian text is moderate; (2) the readability of Indonesian texts between different sample groups, Meaning, there is a difference between the readability of Indonesian text between fellow class X or between one or more classes of X; (3) the reading comprehension ability is low; (4) the ability to read understanding among groups of the same group. Meaning, there is no difference reading comprehension between fellow class X or between one or several classes of X; (5) the readability of Indonesian texts and reading comprehension have no significant relationship, Meaning, there is no relation of readability of text and reading comprehension. It can be concluded that the relationship between the two only reached the correlation coefficient of 0.353 including the qualification of low relations.Key Words: readability, text, reading comprehension, cloze test

Abstract

Abstract: This study discusses the style of language in the text song lyrics randai Overseas Kuantan.Tujuan this study is to describe the kinds of figure of speech or style of any language contained in the text song Randai Overseas Kuantan. The shape of this research is descriptive qualitative. The method is a qualitative descriptive analysis of words or phrases not in the form of figures and aims to describe the state of the object under study at the time the study was conducted. Sources of data in this study is the song randai Overseas Kuantan. Data collection techniques in the text song randai Overseas is a quote Kuantan or corpus consisting of sentences that contain phrases and language style. Stylistic use of language is typically to obtain the value of art works made. Style of language in general, there are four: (1) stylistic comparison (2) conflict style (3) style assertion (4) style satire. Based on these results we can conclude the text of the song lyrics randai Overseas Kuantan authors found that four types of language style. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh banyaknya penggunaan slang di media sosial terkhususnya di media sosal twitter. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data diperoleh menggunakan teknik baca dan teknik catat serta rekam (screenshot). Sumber data penelitian adalah tweets yang ada pada akun pengguna Twitter. Kemudian data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis tematik melalui tahap mengidentifikasi data, mengklasifikasi data, menganalisis data, memaparkan data dan menyimpulkan data. Dari data yang diperoleh, Ditemukan data yang berbentuk singkatan, (1) bentuk salah ucap yang lucu, (2) bentuk yang dipendekkan dan (3) bentuk interjeksi. Jenis slang yang ditemukan yaitu (1) slang rumahan, dan (2) slang masyarakat, Ditemukan pula fungsi slang yaitu (1) digunakan untuk bercanda, (2) digunakan untuk berbeda dengan orang lain, (3) digunakan untuk menarik perhatian, (4) digunakan untuk mempersingkat, (5) digunakan untuk memperkaya bahasa, (6) digunakan untuk memudahkan berhubungan sosial, dan (7) digunakan untuk keramahan dan keintiman.

Abstract

Abstact: In essence, humans are social beings, namely beings who need other people to fulfill the needs of life and survival, for which humans live to communicate in an environment and interact with each other. The lifestyle of hedonism is a pattern of life that seeks pleasure such as spending a lot of time outdoors, playing more and enjoying buying expensive items.Research refers to psycholinguistic theory which means the science that studies language behavior, both visible behavior and invisible behavior. in the form of perception, language production, and language acquisition. Behavior that appears in language is human behavior when speaking and writing or when he produces language, whereas behavior that is not visible is human behavior when understanding what is read or read so that it becomes something that it has or processes something that will be said or written.The behavior of hedonism through Instagram social media in the form of self-expression means that a view of life is assumed that someone will be happy by looking for as much happiness as possible to avoid painful feelings, and that pleasure or pleasure is the purpose of life for those who participate in enlivening Instagram social media which is mostly done especially for teenagers today. Overall, this study shows the behavior of egoistic hedonism from the first appearance that the researchers consider the photo to be a picture of the attitude of hedonism raised by Awkarin. It also reflects a luxurious lifestyle and spree. And not only that the description of the post exposes words that are considered luxurious and sometimes seem impolite, using the word reflects hedonism.Key Words: Behavior of Hedonism, Psycholinguistics, Instagram

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan jenis tindak tutur representatif dalam acara talk show Kick Andy pada kanal youtube. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Adapun sumber data yang telah dikaji dalam penelitian ini yaitu berupa video unggahan pada kanal youtube yang membahas tentang program acara talk show Kick Andy. Analisis data pada penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan model intraktif mencakup tiga tahap yaitu (1) reduksi data, (2) penyajian data, dan (3) verifikasi atau penarikan simpulan. Berdasarkan simpulan yang didapat bahwa ditemukan jenis tindak tutur representatif menyatakan, memberitahukan, menyarankan, mengeluh, membual, menuntut, dan jenis tindak tutur melaporkan tidak ditemukan dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) bentuk tindak tutur ilokusi yang terdapat dalam dialog film Kisah untuk Geri karya Monty Tiwa dan (2) fungsi tindak tutur ilokusi yang terdapat dalam dialog film Kisah untuk Geri karya Monty Tiwa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah film Kisah untuk Geri karya Monty Tiwa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini melalui teknik simak dan teknik catat. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) reduksi data, (2) penyajian data, dan (3) penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan empat bentuk tindak tutur ilokusi dalam dialog film Kisah untuk Geri karya Monty Tiwa, yakni (1) bentuk deklaratif, (2) bentuk interogatif, (3) bentuk imperatif dan (4) bentuk eksklamatif. Kemudian fungsi ilokusi yang ditemukan dalam dialog film Kisah untuk Geri karya Monty Tiwa yakni, (1) fungsi asertif, (2) fungsi direktif, (3) fungsi komisif, (4) fungsi ekspresif, dan (5) fungsi deklaratif.

Abstract

Environmental awareness is of an absolute requirement for effective environmental development efforts. Since it is closely related to the norms and ethics, environmental management by using educational path were a strategic position. Environmental education is specifically important because the world is recently experiencing imbalance (disequilibrium) state in term of environment. The present study aims at formulatingdevelopment strategies with environmental conceptson high school students. KharismaBangsa Bilingual Boarding School Tangerang and SMAN 8 Pekanbaru,which have obtained various achievements and appreciation in the environmental field, were taken as object of the study. ASWOT analysis were performed to both schools target for finding out the formulation strategy. The study suggested thatboth schools KharismaBangsa and SMAN 8 should implement an aggressive strategy, the strategy S-O (Quadrant I) which is, applied tohigh school students. It was found that the students’ awarenessincreased toward the environment whichaccordingly, were related to that support of parents, schools, and developed environmental activities with the community.

Abstract

Background. Richard Eliezer's confession after the verdict in the Rosi program on Kompas TV attracted public and media attention. This confession contains complex dimensions in terms of legal, social, and psychological aspects that deserve further analysis. The discourse that occurs in this program reflects the dynamics of power and ideology that influence public perception. Purpose. This research aims to analyze the critical discourse of Richard Eliezer's confession after the verdict in the Rosi program on Kompas TV. This analysis will explore how the language and narratives used by Richard Eliezer and the program presenters shape public perception of his case and identify the ideology and power operating behind the discourse. Method. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The method of analysis in this research is description and interpretation. The data of this research is taken from the discourse of the news video of Richard Eliezer's expression after the verdict of the murder of Brigadier Yoshua. Results. The results showed that Richard Eliezer's confession was structured with language that sought to construct his image as a victim and seek public sympathy. The program presenter played an important role in reinforcing this narrative through empathetic and supportive questions. The ideologies identified in this discourse include attempts to redefine justice and challenge existing power structures. Conclusion. That the discourse in the Rosi program related to Richard Eliezer's confession after the verdict shows efforts to reconstruct self-image through the strategic use of language and narrative. The discourse not only reflects the power and ideology operating but also directs public opinion towards a particular interpretation of justice. This analysis provides a deeper understanding of how the media can influence perceptions and shape social reality.
