Abstract

AbstractDuring Covid-19 pandemic, the government had policy to do online learning as an alternative in learning process. It expected that online learning built students’ character. It predicted that students’ character and online learning contributed on students’ mathematics learning outcomes. The study aimed to examine positive correlation between students’ character and online learning on mathematics learning outcomes. The research was quantitative research with correlation method. The sampling technique was non probability sampling. The data analysis used SPSS version 25. The result showed that the correlation value between students' character and online learning on mathematics learning outcomes was 0.440. It concludes that there is correlation between students’ character and online learning on the mathematics learning outcomes of students at SDN 5 Panjer.Keywords: character, online learning, and mathematics

Abstract

The study aimed: (1) to describe the application of scientific approach with video, (2) to improve social science learning, (3) to describe the constraints and solutions. The research was collaborative classroom action research (CAR) conducted in three cycles. The subjects were teacher and students. The data collection techniques were tests, and non-tests. Data analysis included data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that: (1) the steps to the application of scientific approach with video in improving social science learning were watching video, asking questions based on video, collecting information from video, reasoning based on video, communicating; (2) the application of scientific approach with video improved social science learning. It was proved by the increasing of average percentages of students’ mastery. They were 87.50%  in the first cycle, 90.63% in the second cycle, and 93.75% in the third cycle; (3) the obstacles were: the students were passive in asking questions, the students were confused during presentations, the students paid less attention to video, the students were passive during discussion, the students were chatting when the teacher explained. The solutions were: the teacher gave motivation to ask questions, the teacher gave instructions before the presentation, the teacher warned the students to pay attention to the video, the teacher asked the students to work together in discussions, the teacher warned the students to pay attention to the teacher's explanation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis adanya: (1) hubungan kemandirian belajar terhadap hasil belajar IPA; (2) hubungan lingkungan belajar di sekolah terhadap hasil belajar IPA; dan (3) hubungan kemandirian belajar dan lingkungan belajar di sekolah terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode korelasi berganda. Populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 725 siswa dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 312 siswa yang dipilih secara acak dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat: (1) hubungan positif dan signifikan kemandirian belajar terhadap hasil belajar IPA (Sig. 0,000 < 0,05) dengan koefisien korelasi 0,461; (2) hubungan positif dan signifikan lingkungan belajar di sekolah terhadap hasil belajar IPA (Sig. 0,000 < 0,05) dengan koefisien korelasi 0,446; dan (3) hubungan positif dan signifikan kemandirian belajar dan lingkungan belajar di sekolah terhadap hasil belajar IPA (Sig. 0,000 <0,05) dengan koefisien korelasi 0,488. Berdasarkan analisis dan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan kemandirian belajar dan lingkungan belajar di sekolah terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar

Abstract

The study aimed to describe: the types of early reading difficulties to second grade students and (2) the factors affecting the early reading difficulties to second grade students. It was a qualitative case study. The objects were 27 second grade students at Jemur elementary school. Data collection techniques were interviews, observation, and document studies. Data analysis included data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results indicated that (1) the types of early reading difficulties experienced by students in learning Indonesian were (a) reading words containing double vowels/diphthongs, (b) reading words containing multiple consonants/digraphs, (c) combining letters and syllables into words, and (d) disfluent reading; (2) Factors affecting early reading difficulties to second grade students at Jemur elementary school were internal factors such as interest and motivation and external factors such as learning process, facilities, and infrastructure, and family environment

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of ethnoscience-based Project-Based Learning (PjBL) on students' science literacy, measure the level of improvement in students' science literacy, and analyze students' science literacy levels in terms of context, competence, and knowledge aspects. The research uses a mixed-method approach with a sequential explanatory design. The quantitative part of the study is conducted using a quasi-experiment, while the qualitative part employs field research. Data analysis techniques include the Mann-Whitney U test for quantitative data and triangulation techniques to validate data. The Miles and Huberman and Saldana model is used for qualitative data analysis.The study found that the use of ethnoscience-based PjBL significantly affects students' science literacy, with a significance value of 0.003 < 0.05. The increase in science literacy in the experimental class is categorized as high, at 0.71, while the control class shows a moderate category, at 0.60. In terms of science literacy levels, the experimental class reached a minimum of level 4, while the control class still had students at level 3. This means that students in the experimental class had better science literacy compared to the control class, particularly in terms of prospective elementary school teachers. Among the three aspects of science literacy, the competence aspect was the highest in both the experimental and control classes compared to the other aspects.

Abstract

Penumpukan limbah organik merupakan salah satu permasalahan lingkungan di Indonesia yang terkait dengan peningkatan jumlah penduduk dan aktivitas sehari-hari masyarakat. Limbah organik tersebut perlu dikelola karena menimbulkan bau menyengat dan berpotensi menyebabkan masalah kesehatan. Setiap daerah di Indonesia berkontribusi terhadap penumpukan limbah organik secara nasional sehingga diperlukan adanya solusi, termasuk di Desa Kalirejo, Kecamatan Kebumen. Tingginya aktivitas pertanian dan aktivitas sehari-hari warga Desa Kalirejo berpotensi menghasilkan banyak limbah organik berupa limbah tanaman dan limbah rumah tangga. Maka dari itu, untuk mencegah penumpukan, dilakukan program pelatihan pembuatan Pupuk Organik Cair (POC) berbasis limbah tanaman dan limbah rumah tangga. Pelatihan dilakukan terhadap ibu-ibu Desa Kalirejo yang terdiri atas kegiatan sosialisasi dan praktik pembuatan POC. Pelatihan ini menjadi sarana untuk mengenalkan POC sehingga peserta pelatihan dapat melakukan pembuatan secara mandiri dan memanfaatkannya dalam penanaman tanaman di lingkungan rumah untuk mendukung ketahanan pangan keluarga. Keberhasilan program pelatihan didasarkan pada metode kualitatif melalui observasi terhadap antusiasme peserta dan wawancara terhadap peserta. Pelaksanaan pelatihan ini mendapatkan respon positif dari peserta melalui antusiasme dalam sesi tanya-jawab. Dengan demikian, pelatihan pembuatan POC ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan kelestarian dan kenyamanan lingkungan sekitar, serta terbentuk ketahanan pangan keluarga.
