Abstract

Artikel ini membahas peran aplikasi Artificial Intelligence (AI) dalam mengembangkan dan meningkatkan kompetensi profesional serta kreativitas pendidik di era Cybernetics 4.0. Artikel ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka dengan pendekatan filososfis. Adapun hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa era ini ditandai oleh integrasi teknologi informasi yang canggih dan terkoneksi, yang memunculkan tantangan baru dalam dunia pendidikan. AI dianggap sebagai solusi inovatif yang dapat membantu pendidik dalam mengoptimalkan kemampuan mereka. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana penerapan AI dapat memberikan dampak positif terhadap pengembangan kompetensi profesional pendidik, termasuk dalam hal perencanaan pembelajaran, evaluasi, dan personalisasi pendidikan. Selain itu, artikel ini juga membahas bagaimana AI dapat menjadi katalisator untuk meningkatkan kreativitas pendidik, memungkinkan mereka untuk mengakses sumber daya yang lebih luas dan memanfaatkan metode pengajaran yang inovatif. Melalui studi literatur dan analisis tren teknologi pendidikan, artikel ini menyajikan gambaran holistik tentang peran AI dalam menghadapi dinamika pendidikan di era Cybernetics 4.0. Implikasi praktis dari integrasi AI dalam konteks pendidikan dijelaskan, termasuk manfaatnya dalam meningkatkan efisiensi, akurasi, dan keberagaman pendidikan. Kesimpulannya, artikel ini merangkum pentingnya peran AI dalam mengembangkan kompetensi profesional dan kreativitas pendidik di tengah revolusi industri keempat. Penerapan AI dalam pendidikan diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi positif dalam mencetak pendidik yang siap menghadapi tantangan masa depan dan mendukung perkembangan masyarakat berbasis pengetahuan.

Abstract

A single paragraph of about 250 words maximum. For Stunting is a growth disorder in children where their height is below the standard for their age. Although the prevalence of stunting in Indonesia has decreased, it remains high according to WHO criteria. Stunting has the potential to reduce productivity in adulthood and increase the risk of degenerative diseases. The causes of stunting are complex and varied. This study aims to determine the relationship between maternal education level, nutritional intake, and family parenting on the incidence of stunting in children under five in the working area of Puskesmas Hiang, Kerinci Regency. This research used a quantitative method with a cross-sectional design. Data collection was conducted from March to May 2024. The study population consisted of 837 children under five, with a sample of 94 children selected using proportional random sampling. The independent variables in this study included “maternal education level, nutritional intake, and family parenting,” while the dependent variable was “stunting.” Data analysis was conducted using the Chi-Square test. The prevalence of stunting in children under five reached 23.4%. A significant relationship was found between maternal education level and nutritional intake (energy, carbohydrates, vitamin A, and fat) with the incidence of stunting in children under five. However, there was no significant relationship between protein intake, zinc intake, and family parenting with stunting incidence. Maternal education level, are related to stunting in children under five in the working area of Puskesmas Hiang, Kerinci Regency.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology brings not only positive impacts but also new challenges for adolescents, including risks to digital mental health (cyber wellness) and increasing cases of bullying, both offline and online. In response, this Community Service Program (PkM) was designed to empower teenagers in Pasar Sungai Tanduk Village, Kerinci Regency, to become agents of change in promoting wise internet use and bullying prevention in their community. The program employed a participatory approach based on Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), actively involving youth in all stages of the program—from needs assessment to evaluation. A total of 30 adolescents aged 13 to 18 from diverse social, economic, and educational backgrounds participated in the activities, which were held at the Grand Mosque of Pasar Sungai Tanduk Village. The program consisted of workshops, interactive discussions, mentoring sessions, and youth-led social campaigns. Evaluation results indicated a significant improvement in participants' understanding (from an average score of 45 to 85), with 83.3% actively involved in campaign planning and execution. Furthermore, 92% reported increased confidence in identifying and reporting bullying incidents, and 88% felt more mindful in their internet usage. Notably, 70% of participants shared their knowledge within their local environment. This program successfully empowered adolescents to become more digitally aware and proactive in creating a safe and inclusive community.

Abstract

The pervasive use of social media has led to a growing concern regarding social media-induced anxiety among university students. This study aims to integrate Islamic-based Behavioral Activation with the concept of Tazkiyatun Nafs, defined as the purification of the soul or self-purification, as proposed by Buya Hamka, to reduce this anxiety among university students. The method employed is a Single-Subject Experimental Design involving three participants from IAIN Kerinci, all of whom exhibited the highest scores of social media anxiety. Data were collected using the Social Media Anxiety Scale (SMAS) and analyzed through visual data analysis. The results indicate that all three respondents showed a significant decrease in social media anxiety levels from the beginning to the end of the observation period. Specifically, visual analysis revealed a substantial reduction in SMAS scores, with participants' anxiety levels consistently dropping from high initial scores to significantly lower post-intervention scores. The intervention phase appeared to have a substantial positive impact, and the reduction in anxiety continued into the follow-up phase, albeit at varying levels. These findings suggest that the Islamic-based Behavioral Activation intervention, grounded in the Tazkiyatun Nafs concept, is effective in alleviating anxiety caused by social media use among students. The significant decrease in anxiety scores during both the intervention and follow-up phases confirms that the observed changes are not merely the result of natural fluctuations but rather the outcome of the implemented intervention. This research contributes important insights into the development of psychological intervention strategies based on Islamic values to address anxiety issues in the digital age, offering a valuable approach for practitioners and a foundation for future research on culturally sensitive mental health interventions.

Abstract

Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) adalah salah satu bentuk Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi. PKM ini bersifat sosialisasi dan edukasi di salah satu Sekolah Dasar Negeri di Kota Padang, SDN 02 Lubuk Buaya Kota Padang yang berlokasi di Lubuk Buaya Kecamatan Koto Tangah Kota Padang. Kegiatan ini diusulkan untuk mengedukasikan dan meningkatkan kosakata Bahasa inggris siswa. Dalam kegiatan ini, fokus pada sosialisasi dan edukasi untuk memperkaya kosakata bahasa Inggris siswa sekolah dasar,karena kebanyakan siswa berasumsi bahwa bahasa inggris adalah pelajaran yang sulit. Sehingga mereka mempunyai kemampuan dan jumlah kosakata Bahasa inggris yang sedikit. Dengan sedikitnya kosakata yang mereka miliki membuat mereka susah menguasai semua keahlian Bahasa inggris. Seperti keahlian atau kemampuan dalam berbicara, mendengarkan, membaca dan menulis dalam Bahasa inggris.Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian ini dirancang untuk membantu siswa sekolah dasar memahami bahwa bahasa Inggris tidaklah sesulit yang mereka bayangkan. Melalui pendekatan interaktif dan menyenangkan, sehingga memberikan dampak positif terhadap persepsi dan kemampuan bahasa Inggris siswa. Upaya ini diharapkan tidak hanya dapat meningkatkan jumlah kosakata mereka, tetapi juga membangun kepercayaan diri dalam menggunakan bahasa Inggris sehari-hari. Dengan demikian, siswa di SDN 02 Lubuk Buaya dapat lebih siap menghadapi tantangan dalam belajar bahasa Inggris dan mengembangkan keterampilan bahasa mereka secara lebih baik.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model in improving students’ speaking skills, particularly in expressing opinions about English videos or podcasts that the students have watched or listened in learning process. This research method was a descriptive qualitative with participants consisting of 42 students from first-semester students of the English management Study Program at Putra Indonesia University in Padang. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation of classroom activities. The results revealed that the systematic application of the three stages of TPS—think, pair, and share—significantly improved students’ participation in giving opinion in the class. They use variation vocabulary and confidence in expressing opinions. Moreover, the model fostered a collaborative and communicative learning environment among students. Furthermore, TPS created a collaborative and communicative learning atmosphere that encouraged students to support each other and reduce anxiety in speaking English. The integration of digital media, such as videos and podcasts, also increased students’ interest and motivation in learning. Thus, implementing Think Pair Share (TPS)in speaking class proved that it is an effective and relevant strategy to enhance students’ speaking ability.

Abstract

Ketidakpastian fluktuasi harga jagung di tingkat daerah sering kali menghambat pedagang mitra dalam memperoleh informasi yang akurat dan tepat waktu. Keterlambatan data memicu kesalahan penetapan harga jual yang berdampak pada stabilitas bisnis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan aplikasi pemantauan harga jagung berbasis real-time yang mengintegrasikan teknologi augmented reality (AR) pada platform android guna meningkatkan efektivitas visualisasi data. Pengembangan sistem menggunakan metode Waterfall yang mencakup tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, implementasi, hingga pengujian. Aplikasi ini dibangun menggunakan Unity dan Vuforia Engine dengan metode marker-based AR untuk menampilkan informasi harga dalam format objek virtual 3D. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem berhasil mengintegrasikan basis data harga terkini dengan fitur pemindaian AR yang stabil pada perangkat android. Pengujian black box mengonfirmasi bahwa seluruh fungsi, mulai dari manajemen data oleh admin hingga akses riwayat harga oleh pedagang, berjalan sesuai spesifikasi. Inovasi ini memberikan solusi interaktif bagi pedagang dalam memantau dinamika pasar secara lebih responsif dan akurat.
