Abstract

Kerupuk Ikan merupakan makanan khas Kota Samarinda yang berbahan dasar ikan gabus, dan teksturnya menyerupai kerupuk. Kerupuk ikan yang dijual di Kota Samarinda dikemas secara sederhana, yaitu langsung dikemas menggunakan plastik, dan minim informasi yang terdapat pada label kemasan. Sehingga peneliti akan melakukan studi lebih lanjut untuk dilakukan pengembangan terhadap kemasan kerupuk ikan yang menarik dan diniminati agar meningkatkan daya beli konsumen. Pengembangan kemasan yang sesuai dengan keinginan konsumen dilakukan dengan bantuan metode kansei engineering. Metode kansei engineering merupakan metode perancangan dan pengembangan berdasarkan perasaan konsumen untuk mengetahui desain yang diinginkan. Metode kansei engineering dilakukan dengan beberapa tahap yaitu, pengumpulan kata kansei dari hasil wawancara, kemudian penyebaran kuesioner semantic differential untuk menyeleksi kata kansei dan dilanjutkan dengan penyebaran kuesioner semantic differential II untuk mengetahui desain kemasan berdasarkan kata kansei. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah kemasan yang diinginkan oleh konsumen berbahan Plastik, menggunakan label digital printing, dan menggunakan lebih dari tiga warna pada label.

Abstract

Pada proses produksi batik cap di CV. XYZ ditemukan permasalahan pada kualitas produknya antara lain ditemukan warna lain yang masuk pada motif dan warna tidak merata. Salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisa kualitas adalah metode six sigma dengan prinsip define,measure,analyze,improve dan control (DMAIC). Pada tahap perbaikan (improve) digunakan metode kaizen. Kaizen merupakan alat yang efektif untuk continuous improvement dengan langkah-langkah kecil dan bertahap. Berdasarkan penerapan metodologi six sigma, diperoleh nilai DPMO 36.585 yang berada pada nilai sigma 3,29 dari jumlah keseluruhan produksi batik cap sebanyak 164 helai kain dengan jumlah produk cacat 12 helai kain batik. Usulan perbaikan dengan menerapkan metode kaizen 5S yang terdiri dari tahap seiri,seiton,seiso,seiketsu dan shitsuke diberikan terhadap setiap penyebab terbesar sehingga berbagai usulan perbaikan yang berbeda-beda pada setiap permasalahan. Untuk meningkatkan kualitas, sebaiknya usulan perbaikan yang didapatkan melalui penerapan kaizen 5s tersebut dapat dipertimbangkan serta diterapkan sehingga menjadi rekomendasi bagi perusahaan.

Abstract

Kopiria is a coffee shop made from the processed milk coffee segment or what is now usually called contemporary coffee. Good service can influence customer satisfaction, so it is important for shops to pay attention to customer satisfaction, in order to satisfy their customers and be able to compete with competing coffee shops. This makes it necessary to carry out an improvement analysis using the QFD method to determine customer satisfaction problems with improvements that must be made as well as the FMEA method to identify potential failures in the service process in order to maintain and increase the number of customers interested in visiting this coffee shop. The results of processing the attributes of the interests of consumers' desires which were integrated using the FMEA method obtained 5 suggestions for improving customer satisfaction in service, namely monitoring the implementation of Production SOPs, routine employee training, installing generator sets, installing automatic door closers, and increasing parking security.

Abstract

Bengkel Bintang Motor adalah salah satu pelaku usaha di bidang otomotif di Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara yang menawarkan pelayanan seperti perawatan mesin, penjualan spare part atau suku cadang sepeda motor, modifikasi, serta service ringan dan service berat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi tingkat kepuasan pengguna terhadap layanan yang disediakan oleh Bengkel Bintang Motor. Dengan menerapkan metode SERVQUAL, ditemukan bahwa semua atribut SERVQUAL menunjukkan nilai gap negatif sebesar -0,878, yang mengindikasikan bahwa penyedia layanan belum berhasil memenuhi harapan pelanggan. Selain itu, analisis menggunakan metode Kano menunjukkan bahwa dari 12 atribut, terdapat kategori one-dimensional yang mencerminkan kebutuhan pelanggan yang jelas dan perlu diprioritaskan serta ditingkatkan dalam layanan. Terdapat juga 6 atribut dalam kategori attractive yang menunjukkan bahwa pemenuhan atribut ini dapat berkontribusi pada peningkatan kepuasan pengguna yang signifikan. Sementara itu, 2 atribut termasuk dalam kategori must-be, yang berarti layanan tersebut penting untuk mempengaruhi kepuasan pelanggan. Penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa kepuasan pelanggan terhadap layanan Bengkel Bintang Motor masih rendah dan memerlukan evaluasi serta perbaikan agar dapat lebih efisien dalam memenuhi kebutuhan pelanggan.Kata Kunci:  Kualitas Pelayanan, Kepuasan Pelanggan, Service Quality, Kano

Abstract

In daily life, stoves are essential tools used in cooking. They play an important role in energy use for households and small businesses, especially MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises). In Samarinda and surrounding areas, food-related MSMEs are growing rapidly, ranging from snacks to trendy beverages. One of the major components of production costs is fuel. The 3-kg LPG cylinder, commonly called the "melon gas," is widely used due to its affordability and availability in urban areas. However, frequent shortages cause price instability and make it unreliable. To address this, a community service program was conducted through education and mentoring on the use of stoves fueled by used cooking oil as an alternative. Emission test results showed that a stove using used cooking oil reached 303°C with O₂ at 11.13%, CO at 9 ppm, and NaO at 16 ppm in 1 minute. In comparison, a gas stove reached 310.2°C with O₂ at 12.28%, CO at 61 ppm, and no NaO detected. These results show that used cooking oil can be a cost-effective alternative for MSMEs. It not only provides a solution to the unstable LPG supply but also helps reduce environmental impact by reusing waste oil from food processing. The used-oil stove has been well received by local entrepreneurs as an affordable and eco-friendly option.

Abstract

The intergenerational leadership transition in family-owned startups poses unique challenges in financial decision-making. Unlike established family companies, startups have a more fluid organizational structure and rely on flexibility in dealing with risks and high capital requirements. This study aims to identify patterns of financial decisions during the generational transition process and examine the influence of family dynamics on financial preferences and strategies taken. Using an exploratory qualitative approach, this study was conducted on five family startups in Indonesia that are undergoing a succession process. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with cross-generational family members involved in finance and leadership functions. The analysis was carried out thematically with a grounded theory approach. The results show that the difference in risk orientation and decision-making horizon between the founding generation and the next generation creates tension as well as opportunities for adaptation. The founding generation tends to maintain internal control and avoid debt, while the new generation is more open to external investors and growth-based financial approaches. This study presents an early model of intergenerational financial dynamics and provides insights for the designers of family-based organizational transition strategies.

Abstract

Loja Coffee Shop in Sangatta, East Kutai, has experienced sales fluctuations due to new competitors. Identification results revealed 10 internal and 10 external factors, with an IFE score of 2.781 and an EFE score of 2.48. A CPM analysis showed Loja’s advantage over De’Atake Cafe. A customer questionnaire yielded a score of 24.37. The IE Matrix suggests a hold-and-maintain strategy. The SWOT analysis produced SO, ST, WO, and WT strategies, with priorities on market expansion, market growth improvement, and profit maximization. The expansion strategy involves opening new branches or franchises in potential locations. Other strategies include partnerships with the government, growth in online markets, digital payments, and social media promotions. To maximize profits, Loja can implement upselling, holiday discounts, and bundle offers. Maintaining flavor quality is also essential as a key differentiator.

Abstract

This study investigates the managerial consequences of algorithm-based decision-making in incentive allocation on production line workers’ perceptions of procedural fairness. Grounded in organizational justice theory and the socio-technical systems framework, the research explores how algorithm transparency, process clarity, and perceived impartiality influence fairness judgments. Using a mixed-method approach, data were collected from 186 factory workers through surveys, complemented by in-depth interviews, and analyzed using structural equation modeling. The findings reveal that low algorithm transparency correlates negatively with perceptions of procedural fairness, while the absence of human involvement in decision-making reduces trust in managerial systems. These results emphasize the need for human-centered algorithm design and fair management practices to uphold employee trust and fairness in Industry 4.0 environments.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of integrating environmental cost accounting on profit margin optimization in manufacturing companies adopting circular economy principles. As sustainability pressures increase, firms must internalize environmental externalities through proper cost identification, allocation, and reporting. Using a quantitative approach, the study analyzes secondary data from 60 manufacturing firms listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2019 to 2023 through multiple regression analysis. The key variables include the integration of environmental cost components—prevention, remediation, and disposal—and their influence on gross and net profit margins. Results show a significant positive relationship (p < 0.01), with integration linked to improved efficiency, waste reduction, and profitability.

Abstract

Pada proses pemanenan buah kelapa sawit, pekerja menggunakan tojok konvensional yang dinilai kurang ergonomis, terutama pada bentuk dan ukuran pegangannya. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk merancang tojok ergonomis dengan tujuan meningkatkan kenyamanan pekerja saat menaikkan buah sawit ke truk. Metode yang digunakan meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan analisis data kuantitatif. Hasil perancangan menghasilkan tojok berbahan stainless steel dengan panjang 120 cm, berat 0,9 kg, lebar pegangan 16 cm, diameter pegangan 2,7 cm, dan panjang mata tojok 21 cm. Pegangan berbentuk T diubah menjadi lebih ergonomis. Evaluasi penggunaan tojok ergonomis dilihat dari perbandingan nilai keluhan Gotrak dan Ergonomics Risk Assesment (ERF) menunjukkan penurunan risiko ergonomis, seperti berkurangnya segmen tubuh berisiko tinggi dari 4 menjadi 1 dan peningkatan segmen tubuh berisiko rendah dari 7 menjadi 8. Skor ERF turun dari 9 menjadi 8, dan potensi bahaya pada leher, bahu, tubuh, dan pergelangan kaki berkurang signifikan, sehingga meningkatkan kenyamanan pekerja.
