Abstract

The proposed Qanun on polygamy by the Acehnese elite (executive and legislative) is aimed at the wider community because of the widespread phenomenon of unregistered marriages. Siri marriage is not prohibited in Aceh in fact the administrative requirements are relaxed for ordinary people. This gap raises the question of whether the Acehnese elite proposed the polygamy qanun for the benefit of society or for subjective interests. This article is classified as field research with a qualitative approach. The methodology used is descriptive-analytical research. The results of the research found that the reactor for the implementation or key factor of family law qanun in Aceh lies in the condition where polygyny requirements are tightened beyond the provisions of the Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI) and the requirements for Siri Marriage which are relaxed. based on KHI provisions. The motive was the Acehnese elite's efforts to have their unregistered wives recognized (legality) in Aceh's polygyny qanun. These findings can be input for family law studies to create more objective and independent regulations, especially in regions that have special autonomy rights.

Abstract

This research explores in depth the concept of moral integrity which is the main basis for economic actors in the current context. The focus of this research is to identify ethical principles that should be upheld and behaviors that economic actors should avoid ensuring sustainability and fairness in economic interactions. A qualitative approach is used to investigate the impact of moral integrity on economic decisions. Research findings show that moral integrity must involve a commitment to values such as honesty, justice, and social responsibility. On the other hand, behavior that should be avoided includes practices that can harm society, such as fraud, corruption, and exploitation. This article provides a holistic picture of the role of moral integrity in shaping the character of economic actors and its impact on economic sustainability. The implications of this research finding can guide companies, regulators, and individuals in designing policies, business practices, and ethical guidelines that are in accordance with Islamic moral and justice principles. This research contributes to a deep understanding of moral integrity in the complex context of today's economic interactions.

Abstract

The research aims to analyze the implementation of business ethics values in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Banda Aceh City. Through a quantitative approach with survey method, data collection involved 150 SME owners as respondents selected through stratified random sampling technique. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The results show that the implementation of business ethics values has a positive and significant effect on SME performance, with honesty in transactions as the most dominant factor (41.2%). There are significant differences in the implementation of business ethics values based on business sectors, where the service sector shows a higher level of implementation. The research findings benefit the development of business ethics for SMEs in developing countries

Abstract

Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) memiliki peran strategis dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik yang beriman, berakhlak mulia, dan bertanggung jawab secara sosial. Namun, praktik pembelajaran PAI di berbagai satuan pendidikan masih cenderung berorientasi pada pendekatan teacher-centered, sehingga peserta didik belum sepenuhnya diposisikan sebagai subjek aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji konsep dan implementasi metode pembelajaran PAI berbasis subjek didik melalui pendekatan humanistik dalam rangka penguatan karakter peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kepustakaan, yang menganalisis berbagai sumber berupa buku referensi, artikel jurnal nasional dan internasional, serta dokumen kebijakan pendidikan yang relevan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran PAI berbasis subjek didik menempatkan peserta didik sebagai individu yang memiliki potensi, pengalaman, dan kebutuhan belajar yang beragam, sehingga menuntut penerapan metode pembelajaran yang partisipatif, reflektif, dan kontekstual. Pendekatan humanistik dalam pembelajaran PAI diwujudkan melalui metode diskusi reflektif, pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman, pembelajaran kolaboratif, serta pemecahan masalah yang bernuansa nilai-nilai keislaman. Penerapan metode tersebut berkontribusi positif terhadap penguatan karakter peserta didik, khususnya dalam aspek religiusitas, kejujuran, tanggung jawab, toleransi, dan kepedulian sosial. Selain itu, pendekatan humanistik juga mendorong terciptanya hubungan edukatif yang lebih dialogis dan humanis antara guru dan peserta didik. Artikel ini merekomendasikan perlunya peningkatan pemahaman dan kompetensi guru PAI dalam mengembangkan metode pembelajaran berbasis subjek didik sebagai strategi efektif untuk mewujudkan pembelajaran PAI yang bermakna dan berorientasi pada pembentukan karakter
