Abstract

AbstrakSeni pertunjukan wayang wong adalah salah satu kesenian di Bali dan masih ditarikan di daerah desa tradisional Sidan, Kecamatan Petang, Kabupaten Badung, Bali. Kesenian wayang wong ini menjadi menarik, karena merupakan salah satu kesenian yang dianggap sakral oleh masyarakat setempat. Tetapi di Desa Sidan, wayang wong hanya ditarikan saat upacara keagamaan khusus. Pada prosesi sebelum pertunjukan ditarikan oleh masyarakat setempat, dilakukan ritual khusus pada para penari. Pengamatan lapangan tidak ditemukan adanya dokumentasi dalam bentuk apapun yang mengacu pada rangkaian acara tersebut, termasuk foto ataupun rekaman video. Berdasarkan wawancara dengan kelompok penari, regenerasi dilakukan dari generasi ke generasi secara langsung. Tidak adanya dokumen fisik atau digital, memotivasi tindak lanjut untuk mengeksplorasi fenomena kesenian ini. Metode kualitatif melalui pengumpulan data observasi tempat rangkaian prosesi kesenian wayang wong dan wawancara dilakukan pada anggota penari serta pimpinan desa adat yang mengetahui eksistensi kesenian ini. Kemudian dikomparasikan dengan proses perancangan video, sehingga didapatkan rangkaian cerita dalam bentuk film dokumenter. Finalisasi film dokumenter kemudian didelegasikan secara langsung pada masyarakat setempat, sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai acuan kajian lebih lanjut oleh para akademisi ataupun praktisi seni. Hal ini bertujuan untuk melestarikan kesenian wayang wong sakral yang telah langka di Bali. Kata Kunci: film, dokumenter, tari, wayang wong, Bali AbstractWayang wong performance art is one of the arts in Bali and is still danced in the traditional village area of Sidan, Petang District, Badung Regency, Bali. Wayang wong art is interesting because it is one of the arts that are considered sacred by the local community. But in Sidan Village, wayang wong is only danced during special religious ceremonies. In the procession, before the performance was danced by the local community, a special ritual was performed for the dancers. Field observations were not found in any form of documentation that refers to the series of events, including photographs or video recordings. Based on interviews with dancer groups, regeneration is carried out from generation to generation directly. The absence of physical or digital documents motivates follow-up to explore this artistic phenomenon. The qualitative method was through observation data collection where a series of wayang wong art processions and interviews were conducted with dancers and traditional village leaders who knew the existence of this art. Then it is compared with the video design process so that a series of stories is obtained in the form of a documentary film. The finalization of the documentary was then delegated directly to the local community so that it could be used as a reference for further studies by academics or arts practitioners. Abstract

Introduction: Cacao fruit diseases significantly impact cocoa yield and quality in Indonesia. Early detection is critical, yet traditional methods are often time-consuming and error-prone due to the visual similarity of disease symptoms. This study aims to compare the performance of two Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) architectures—DenseNet-121 and MobileNetV2—for automated image classification of cacao fruit diseases. Methods: The dataset comprises 8000 images augmented from 2000 original photos taken in cocoa plantations in Bali, categorized into four classes: fruit rot, fruit-sucking pests, pod borers, and healthy fruits. Both CNN models were trained using the Adam optimizer, a learning rate of 0.001, and a dropout rate of 0.4. The input images were resized to 224×224 pixels. Evaluation metrics included accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score. Results: DenseNet-121 outperformed MobileNetV2 across all metrics. DenseNet-121 achieved an accuracy of 94.50%, precision of 94.75%, recall of 94.25%, and F1-score of 94.50%. In comparison, MobileNetV2 reached an accuracy of 93.88%. Although MobileNetV2 offered faster training time and lower model complexity, DenseNet-121 demonstrated superior feature extraction and stability, supported by its deeper architecture and greater parameter capacity. Conclusions: DenseNet-121 is more effective than MobileNetV2 in classifying cacao fruit diseases, providing higher accuracy and robustness. Despite requiring more computational resources, it is better suited for developing a web-based cocoa disease detection tool to assist farmers in timely and accurate disease identification.

Abstract

Isu pemerataan pendidikan di Indonesia, mulai dari pendidikan dasar hingga perguruan tinggi, masih menjadi tantangan besar. Berbagai sekolah dan lembaga pendidikan menghadapi kendala seperti fasilitas yang kurang memadai, sumber daya manusia yang terbatas, biaya pendidikan yang tinggi, serta distribusi guru yang tidak merata. Tantangan-tantangan ini menghambat upaya menciptakan sistem pendidikan berkualitas dan merata. Direktorat Sekolah Menengah Atas, Kemdikbud, menyoroti tantangan dalam mewujudkan pemerataan pendidikan di era globalisasi yang ditandai dengan kemajuan teknologi. Hal ini sejalan dengan komitmen global dan nasional dalam agenda Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), yang diharapkan dapat tercapai pada tahun 2030. Permasalahan ini membutuhkan pendekatan kolaboratif antara pemerintah, masyarakat, lembaga pendidikan, dan sektor swasta. Sebagai contoh, SD N 6 Penatih di Denpasar Timur menghadapi masalah kesenjangan pendidikan terutama terkait akses teknologi dan pengetahuan komputer khususnya pada pengoperasian sistem aplikasi microsoft excel dan desain canva. Metode yang di terapkan pada kegiatan paengabdian ini terdiri dari 5 tahapan diantaranya tahap perencanaan awal, identifikasi permasalahan, pelaksanaan kegiatan, evaluasi dan pelaporan. Pelatihan Microsoft Excel dan Canva untuk siswa kelas 5 dan 6 berhasil membuktikan efektivitas metode pengajaran yang diterapkan, dimana siswa tidak hanya memahami konsep yang diajarkan tetapi juga mampu menerapkan keterampilan tersebut secara praktis. Pengabdian masyarakat oleh lembaga pendidikan tinggi diperlukan untuk membantu mengatasi kesenjangan ini dan meningkatkan kesadaran serta kemampuan teknologi di kalangan siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada pemberdayaan anggota PEKKA (Perempuan Kepala Keluarga) di Gianyar, Bali, menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Tujuan utamanya adalah mengidentifikasi dan mengatasi tiga permasalahan kunci: kurangnya pemahaman hukum, kesenjangan layanan dan akses informasi, serta keterbatasan keterampilan ekonomi. Metode yang digunakan meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan analisis data kualitatif. Solusi yang diimplementasikan mencakup penyuluhan advokasi hukum, pengembangan platform mobile untuk digitalisasi modul, dan pelatihan bisnis digital. Proses ini diikuti dengan monitoring dan evaluasi kegiatan untuk memastikan efektivitas dan keberlanjutan program. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman hukum, akses terhadap layanan informasi, dan keterampilan ekonomi di kalangan anggota PEKKA. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan model pemberdayaan yang efektif untuk perempuan kepala keluarga, sejalan dengan program MBKM dan IKU, serta mendukung terciptanya masyarakat yang lebih sejahtera, adil gender, dan bermartabat.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an interactive mobile application-based learning media to introduce Devanagari Sanskrit script to Indonesian teenagers. The background of this research is the lack of communicative, contextual, and engaging learning media for the digital generation in learning traditional scripts. The development method uses the ADDIE model modified with a visual communication design approach and integration of local Balinese cultural values. The results show that this media successfully combines strong visual elements, interactive voice narratives, and Balinese cultural iconography in one mobile-friendly platform. Validation from design and cultural experts shows a very high level of feasibility, supported by positive responses from student users at the Dvipantara Samskrtam Foundation. This research makes a real contribution to the preservation of traditional scripts through a digital educational approach that is adaptive to the learning needs of today's teenagers. In addition, this research also opens opportunities for the development of similar learning media for other traditional scripts, thereby increasing awareness and understanding of Indonesia's rich culture among the younger generation. By integrating technology in learning, it is hoped that the preservation of Indonesian culture can go hand in hand with the progress of the times.

Abstract

A traditional village in Bali is an institution that is responsible for managing and maintaining the sustainability of a traditional village in Bali. The development of information technology has developed so rapidly that even village officials must keep up with the development of information technology. However, in reality some village officials are not fluent in using information technology either in the form of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, especially now that online meetings are also developing with many positive impacts. Based on these problems, community service was carried out by conducting Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point training, and online meetings using the Zoom application. This training was conducted with the aim of increasing the skills of indigenous village communities in using information and communication technology. In this training, participants will be taught how to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point to create documents, process data, and make presentations. In addition, participants will also be taught how to use the Zoom application to conduct online meetings. This training is expected to provide benefits for indigenous village communities in improving their skills and productivity. Based on the evaluation results that have been carried out using the pre-test and post-test methods, in general there is an increase in the ability of village officials to operate the information technology material that has been provided in this community service.
