Abstract

Science and technology is always experiencing dynamics in the form of changes and developments. Industrial revolution 4.0. has brought new technology which is always characterized by cyber physical systems such as artificial intelligence, advance robotics, autonomous vehicles, 3d printing, virtual reality, and crypto currency, and others. The impact of the presence of these new technologies brings major and fundamental changes in various fields of life, including the maritime sector. The industrial revolution 4.0., has given rise to the phenomenon of shifting community activities which were initially carried out in the real world, now carried out in cyberspace. Everything is digital and all activities are done online with the help of internet media. In realizing the vision of the five pillars of PMD through the mastery and development of science and technology, several strategies are needed, including: (1) Building a maritime culture, through efforts: (a) the use and application of smart education technology, (b) carry out a cultural revolution or mental revolution, (c) build and expand internet network access infrastructure that is evenly distributed and reaches all regions of Indonesia. (2) Utilization of Maritime Natural Resources, with strategies, including: (a) Increasing the quantity and quality of exploration and management of natural resources classified as potential recoverable resources. (b) Increase the quantity and quality of exploration and management in the field of natural resources which are classified as potential non-recoverable resources, such as large oil and gas, minerals and mining materials. (c) Improving marine tourism management based on marine natural resources. (3) Development of Maritime Infrastructure and Connectivity, through efforts to prioritize the development of sea highways for inter-island domestic connectivity, by developing port infrastructure, and shipping and navigation safety infrastructure. Abstract

Abstract

The Naval Collaboration Flexible learning (NCFL) learning model is the result of innovation in the field of learning technology to make it more effective, efficient and increase attractiveness in order to achieve learning success. The NCFL learning model was developed by synthesizing various learning and learning theories, system-based, referring to the suitability of the needs and the latest science and technology developments, and still maintaining the distinctive cultural features of the Navy, and based on the values of Pancasila. The problem studied is how the influence of the NCFL learning model in the field of Islamic Religious Education at the Naval College of Technology. The method used is a quantitative method with the process of collecting data through questionnaires to 35 students of the Naval College of Technology and data analysis using SPSS 25.0 software. The results showed that there was a significant influence on the application of the NCFL learning model at the Naval College of Technology, especially in the field of Islamic Religious Education. From the simple linear regression test, the regression equation formula Y = 9.657 + 0.579 X1, meaning that if the X1 value is increased by 1 point, the strength of the Y relationship will increase by the value of the X1 variable, namely 0.579. Furthermore, from the formulation of the regression equation Y = 24.352 + 0.461 X2, which means that if the X2 value is increased by 1 point, the strength of the Y relationship will increase by the value of the X2 variable, namely 0.461. In the multiple linear regression test, the equation formula is Y = 8.274 + 0.476 X1 + 0.187 X2, meaning that if the two variables X1 and X2 are increased by a constant 1, there will be an increase in the Y output value of the X1 and X2 variables, namely (0.476 + 0.187 = 0.663).

Abstract

Based on the recently released PISA (Program for International Student Assessment) report, Tuesday, December 3, 2019, Indonesia's reading score was ranked 72 out of 77 countries, mathematics scores were ranked 72 out of 78 countries, and science scores were ranked 70 out of 78 countries. . Data from international research institutions such as the Progress in International Reading Literacy Study (PIRLS), and Trends in International Mathematics and Science Studies (TIMS) show similar findings. In connection with this condition, the author wants to discuss the causal factors and how to improve the literacy culture of students in elementary schools. The approach method in this paper uses literacy studies. From various literatures it is found that there are three factors that cause low interest in reading. First, the lack of reading habits that are instilled from an early age. Second, the lack of book production in Indonesia as a result of the undeveloped regional publishers. Third, the lack of main educational facilities for internet-based information systems, which during the Covid'19 pandemic became the only reliable access to obtain various information, while not everyone has the ability to access the internet. Therefore, efforts are needed to solve the problem of low literacy culture. Various literatures suggest several efforts to improve literacy culture among elementary school students, including: firstly implementing the School Literacy Movement program launched by the Government, secondly holding literacy competitions such as writing competitions, reading poetry, etc., as well as reading corners in each class. , and the third held a one day one page program through assignments to read 1 page every day and summarize the reading results. Through these programs, it is expected to be able to improve the literacy culture of elementary school students and can systemically improve the quality of the nation.

All stages of course delivery must be evaluated to ensure that education is carried out correctly and effectively. Where each action runs separately or simultaneously. The implementation of Suspapotmar in Kodiklatal is inseparable from the Indonesian Navy's Education Quality Standards, which are an important component in improving educational management and the quality of educational outcomes, which helps the Indonesian Navy achieve its vision of becoming world class. It is very important for the Kodiklatal educational institution to organize the Suspapotmar course program, because apart from this course it is also needed for Serdik and is in accordance with the needs of the organization and Indonesian Navy soldiers. Not infrequently, after students complete the course and return to their workplace, they can experience problems. Therefore, evaluation will determine whether the learning program is running well. Data analysis techniques using qualitative research analysis are carried out starting from the stage of entering the object, while at the object and at the end of the object. So the results show that the determination of Suspapotmar students is in accordance with the required classification and has gone quite well. From observations in the field, all teaching staff have taken the required education. From the results of interviews with students and teaching staff, researchers received input stating that the facilities had been met.
