Abstract

Kerusakan pada alat ukur suhu infrared thermometer mempengaruhi kualitas pengukuran, yang disebabkan jatuh, terbentur, maupun umur dari alat ukur. Kalibrasi alat ukur dibutuhkan untuk mengetahui akurasi terhadap hasil pengukuran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini merancang alat kalibrasi pengukur suhu berbasis digital. Metode yang dilakukan pembuatan alat kalibrasi pengukur suhu berbasis digital temperatur menggunakan VDI 2221 (verein deutscher ingenieure), persatuan insinyur Jerman. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan alat kalibrasi pengukur suhu mendapatkan data koreksi sebesar 0.1 oC. Alat kalibrasi dengan benda kerja didapatkan nilai 0.4 oC. Adapun hasil pengujian sesuai dengan fungsinya dengan menggunakan alat pemanas temperatur 50oC, 75oC, 100oC. ditemperaturr 50oC, 75oC, 100oC

Abstract

Machine failure on the M-145 bucket elevator contributed to downtime in January 2021, as much as 605 minutes or 6.75 hours, starting from January 17-20 2021 with a total of 17 production downtimes. The purpose of this study was to analyze the damage to the M145 elevator to determine the root cause of the damage and in this study used the fishbone diagram method. From the results of research conducted there was damage to the M145 elevator that the cause of the overflow was due to the peeling of the rubber coating on the top pulley of the upper motor pulley so that the belt became loose and caused friction on the conveyor belt, the tightness of the conveyor belt which was rarely checked, from the beginning of the construction of the bucket which caused the material to be indirect. lifted to the top but first stirred at the bottom so that it inhibits the speed of the bucket elevator. In preventing overflow damage on the M145 elevator machine by repairing or replacing the top pulley with a new pulley or repair by providing a good pulley rubber coating, as well as changing the direction of the elevator inlet so that the bucket is no longer stuck with raw materials

Abstract

Kebocoran oli pada shockbreaker kendaraan roda dua bagian depan berdampak pada ketidak nyamanan dalam berkendara, terutama kondisi jalan yang berlubang atau jalan berbatu. Kehandalan shockbreaker yang menurun, akan berdampak juga pada kondisi mesin maupun komponen motor itu sendiri dan pengendara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan akar penyebab terhadap kebocoran oli pada shockbreaker dan metode perawatan yang harus dilakukan, supaya kejadian yang sama berkurang atau tidak terulang kembali. Dalam penelitian ini untuk mempermudah proses yang dilakukan menggunakan metode fishbone diagram. Adapun hasil penelitian kebocoran yang terjadi pada shockbreaker bagian depan disebabkan oleh kontaminasi debu, saat shockbreaker bekerja terdapat kontaminasi debu dan kontak dengan seal bagian atas, sehingga mengakibatkan gesekan dan merusak seal shockbreaker. Scratch pada poros disebabkan gesekan seal yang rusak, dan oli yang berada di tabung keluar dan menimbulkan kebocoran. Agar kejadian kebocoran tidak terulang kembali adalah mengganti secara berkala oli shock breaker dan seal, supaya keandalan komponen shock breaker meningkat, serta kenyamanan pengemudi terjaga

Abstract

Di setiap kota atau perumahan masalah sampah menjadi urusan serius. Dampak buruk dari sampah berupa polusi udara, pencemaran tanah dan air sampai gangguan kesehatan. Salah satu sumber sampah adalah rumah tangga. Untuk sampah non organik, secara umum sebagian masyarakat sudah menangani dengan cara dipungut oleh para pemulung atau dikumpulkan oleh pemilik rumah untuk kemudian dijual kepada para pengepul. Masalah ada pada sampah organik.Sampah organik perlu dihancurkan untuk bisa dimanfaatkan sebagai kompos atau sumber energi dalam bentuk biogas. Metode yang telah dilakukan ini menghasilkan prototipe alat penghancur sampah organik yang baik dari sisi dimensi dan daya listrik memungkinkan dipakai di setiap rumah keluarga Indonesia. Ukuran alat yang dibuat adalah: Tinggi 37 cm, Lebar 20 cm, Panjang 23 cm. Berat total 5 Kg. Alat ini juga bisa dioperasikan dengan menggunakan sumber listrik dari rumah tipe RS karena menggunakan motor listrik 400 Watt. Kapasitas pencacahan dari alat yang dihasilkan dari penelitian ini adalah10 Kg/jam.

Abstract

Damage to the main bearing components on the generator set unit operating in the PLTD to supply power to PLN. Based on the initial indication of engine blow-by and high vibration in the damper area of the service meter unit (SMU): 25555. The purpose of this study is to determine the root cause of the main bearing damage that changes shape and color in the diesel engine generator set. The method used in this research is a visual inspection and removing engine components. The results and discussion of the research obtained changes in the shape and color of the main bearing, starting from the main bearing material (rotating) spalling so that it rubs against the main journal. The friction that occurs causes changes in the shape of the main bearing and causes the main bearing to rotate. The keywords on the main bearing are released due to thinning so that the main bearing rotates and closes the supply of lubricating oil to the main and rod bearings. Based on the analysis, the most likely cause of adhesive wear on Main Bearing #1 is crankshaft misalignment towards the front of the engine.

Abstract

Diesel Engine yang beroperasi pada salah satu pembangkit listrik di wilayah Sulawesi mengalami kerusakan pada turbocharger, indikasi sebelum kejadian unit trip/shutdown dan terindikasi di sistem Module Bearing Display Module (BDM) turbin dan kompresor disisi bank kiri, Module vibrasi display (VDM) pada bank kiri, modul vibrasi display axial bank kiri. Untuk mengidentifikasi kerusakan, operator melakukan pengecekan turbocharger pada bank kiri yang mengalami kerusakan dan setelah dilakukan pembongkaran komponen turbocharger ditemukan turbin wheel patah. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini menentukan akar penyebab kerusakan turbocharger agar kerusakan yang sama tidak terulang kembali. Adapun metode dalam penelitian ini adalah uji laboratorium komponen turbocharger yang patah. Dari kerusakan turbocharger bank kiri probability disebabkan oleh: 1) partikel valve, 2. Partikel bellow. Hasil dan Pembahasan kerusakan turbin wheel disebabkan vibrasi pada engine, yang mengakibatkan kerusakan pada wheel turbocharger. Vibrasi yang berasal dari sistem pembakaran yang tidak normal, dan menyebabkan pengelasan antara sliding plate dengan metal base pada bellows terlepas dan terdorong gas buang menuju turbocharger. Saran pengecekan secara berkala secara mengukur parameter vibrasi pada unit pembangkit.

Abstract

Lack of radiator water in the 5K Kijang car cooling system, has an impact on decreasing vehicle performance. This leakage causes the cooling water in the radiator to decrease and can trigger a high cooling system temperature (overheating) on the engine. The discussion of the effect of damage to the radiator cap on the engine temperature of the Toyota Kijang 5K is able to help improve the understanding of vehicle users in general about the cooling system, can treat and repair if there is damage to the radiator cap. The radiator cap test was carried out by observation on a 5K Toyota deer by testing the radiator cap pressure using a radiator cup tester and visualizing the radiator cap components. After inspection there is damage to the radiator cap seal and the results of the radiator cap test 0.6 kgf / cm2 which causes the radiator cap pressure to be low, while the standard pressure is 0.9 kgf / cm2 - 1.03 kgf / cm2 and there is damage to the radiator cap seal so that it can cause engine overheating. Repair steps by replacing the new radiator cap components, efforts that need to be considered to prevent losses due to damage to the cooling system components, check the level of coolant, do a daily check properly and correctly, do preventive maintenance regularly.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic made all teaching and learning processes at SMK YAF-Banjar conducted online, to prevent the widespread transmission of Virus-COVID-19. Students continue to learn at home according to the schedule of lessons from school. The competency test of students' machine design drawings conducted by the school is done online so that the competencies of students in grade 12 meet the educational standards and requirements for graduating students to face the workforce. The purpose of the online competency test is to test students' abilities in terms of machine image design. The method used in the student competency test is to contact every student who studies at SMK YAF. The results and discussion in this competency test the results carried out have not been maximized, due to signal constraints where students live, then from the online competency test 3 criteria are communicated including, 1) knowledge, 2) skills, 3) attitude. From the results of the assessment of knowledge and skills the average value is 75. From this value it must still be improved in terms of knowledge and skills. In the knowledge, criteria is an understanding of SOP and applying quality standards of work, while for skills are the results, including 3D arrangement drawings, detailed drawings of 2D components, projections and cuts, grading, linear and geometrical tolerances, markings of work and roughness prices.

Abstract

Abstract

Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Muhammadiyah Cileungsi has the duty of the College Dharma Chess which includes education and teaching activities, research and community service, and AIKA and Al-Islam. The purpose of this research is to teach writing methods to teachers, to facilitate teaching and learning. The method used in this research are identification of the problem, conduct a field survey, finding material, and direct training  to representatives of each high school / vocational school teachers. In this training participants were given the easiest writing method. From telling great writers in life in the world, where they can exist in writing. Then the participants were asked to write an article to get used to writing. After the end of the activity, participants are asked to share in the group or discuss directly with the speaker, so that the writing that has been made can be immediately reviewed. Solutions in writing training, taking the time to write, and frequent discussions with people who often write. The result of this research is the teachers know writing techniques to develop teaching activity in the classroom.
