Abstract

Diesel Engine yang beroperasi pada salah satu pembangkit listrik di wilayah Sulawesi mengalami kerusakan pada turbocharger, indikasi sebelum kejadian unit trip/shutdown dan terindikasi di sistem Module Bearing Display Module (BDM) turbin dan kompresor disisi bank kiri, Module vibrasi display (VDM) pada bank kiri, modul vibrasi display axial bank kiri. Untuk mengidentifikasi kerusakan, operator melakukan pengecekan turbocharger pada bank kiri yang mengalami kerusakan dan setelah dilakukan pembongkaran komponen turbocharger ditemukan turbin wheel patah. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini menentukan akar penyebab kerusakan turbocharger agar kerusakan yang sama tidak terulang kembali. Adapun metode dalam penelitian ini adalah uji laboratorium komponen turbocharger yang patah. Dari kerusakan turbocharger bank kiri probability disebabkan oleh: 1) partikel valve, 2. Partikel bellow. Hasil dan Pembahasan kerusakan turbin wheel disebabkan vibrasi pada engine, yang mengakibatkan kerusakan pada wheel turbocharger. Vibrasi yang berasal dari sistem pembakaran yang tidak normal, dan menyebabkan pengelasan antara sliding plate dengan metal base pada bellows terlepas dan terdorong gas buang menuju turbocharger. Saran pengecekan secara berkala secara mengukur parameter vibrasi pada unit pembangkit.

Abstract

Lack of radiator water in the 5K Kijang car cooling system, has an impact on decreasing vehicle performance. This leakage causes the cooling water in the radiator to decrease and can trigger a high cooling system temperature (overheating) on the engine. The discussion of the effect of damage to the radiator cap on the engine temperature of the Toyota Kijang 5K is able to help improve the understanding of vehicle users in general about the cooling system, can treat and repair if there is damage to the radiator cap. The radiator cap test was carried out by observation on a 5K Toyota deer by testing the radiator cap pressure using a radiator cup tester and visualizing the radiator cap components. After inspection there is damage to the radiator cap seal and the results of the radiator cap test 0.6 kgf / cm2 which causes the radiator cap pressure to be low, while the standard pressure is 0.9 kgf / cm2 - 1.03 kgf / cm2 and there is damage to the radiator cap seal so that it can cause engine overheating. Repair steps by replacing the new radiator cap components, efforts that need to be considered to prevent losses due to damage to the cooling system components, check the level of coolant, do a daily check properly and correctly, do preventive maintenance regularly.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic made all teaching and learning processes at SMK YAF-Banjar conducted online, to prevent the widespread transmission of Virus-COVID-19. Students continue to learn at home according to the schedule of lessons from school. The competency test of students' machine design drawings conducted by the school is done online so that the competencies of students in grade 12 meet the educational standards and requirements for graduating students to face the workforce. The purpose of the online competency test is to test students' abilities in terms of machine image design. The method used in the student competency test is to contact every student who studies at SMK YAF. The results and discussion in this competency test the results carried out have not been maximized, due to signal constraints where students live, then from the online competency test 3 criteria are communicated including, 1) knowledge, 2) skills, 3) attitude. From the results of the assessment of knowledge and skills the average value is 75. From this value it must still be improved in terms of knowledge and skills. In the knowledge, criteria is an understanding of SOP and applying quality standards of work, while for skills are the results, including 3D arrangement drawings, detailed drawings of 2D components, projections and cuts, grading, linear and geometrical tolerances, markings of work and roughness prices.

Abstract

During quite a high job competition, each individual must improve their abilities in various fields of science and skills. Development of human resources to improve product quality and selling value. Human Resources (HR) that are not supported by soft skills and hard skills will reduce the ability to work, of course, needed by young people with a higher desire to improve hard skills and soft skills. This welding training, one of the STTMC programs aimed at improving the quality of young people in STTMC and surrounding areas. Whereas in the industrial environment increasing human resources to compete in labor competition. In building good relationships between universities and communities around the industry.  Also, we can equip young people with the skills needed in the fields of welding, entrepreneurship, industry, and the world of projects. Where the majority of the world of work requires smart people and have the ability in the field of hard skills. Abstract

Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Muhammadiyah Cileungsi has the duty of the College Dharma Chess which includes education and teaching activities, research and community service, and AIKA and Al-Islam. The purpose of this research is to teach writing methods to teachers, to facilitate teaching and learning. The method used in this research are identification of the problem, conduct a field survey, finding material, and direct training  to representatives of each high school / vocational school teachers. In this training participants were given the easiest writing method. From telling great writers in life in the world, where they can exist in writing. Then the participants were asked to write an article to get used to writing. After the end of the activity, participants are asked to share in the group or discuss directly with the speaker, so that the writing that has been made can be immediately reviewed. Solutions in writing training, taking the time to write, and frequent discussions with people who often write. The result of this research is the teachers know writing techniques to develop teaching activity in the classroom.

Abstract

In managing and marketing the production of red ginger intonutritious drinks, there are often obstacles, starting from theprocess of selecting materials, production, packaging, to themarketing process. The purpose of this activity is to understandthe production process to sales. The method used is to provideassistance in managing red ginger production from production toonline marketing. From the results of the assistance carried outon the production of red ginger, 80% of the percentage isconsidered to provide a very good contribution to producersregarding their sales. As for the marketing process, it is donethrough social media or online digital marketing and the nearestwarung. The suggestion in the production of red ginger is thatthere needs to be an increase in more beautiful packaging models,to get the product's appeal to its customers.

Abstract

Snack food production has its characteristics in the community, in the manufacture of food, there are often obstacles, ranging from raw materials, manufacturing methods, and capital. The purpose of this community service is to increase the added value of the production of cracker snacks made from tofu and rice, to become rainbow crackers in UMKM-Cileungsi. The method of implementing community service is assistance in designing the cracker production process, testing the production process, mentoring, and training to make tofu crackers and rainbow crackers. The attention of UMKM and the community regarding PKM is considered positive and can make a very good contribution to the surrounding community. so that they have creative ideas in creating superior products with various flavors & shapes from easily available raw materials. At the same time providing new business opportunities

Abstract

Turbin Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Mikrohidro (PLTMH) yang dapat menghasilkan daya s/d 2.500 Watt. Mesin dirancang untuk mampu dioperasikan dengan mudah, dan perawatan yang murah. Jenis turbin yang dipilih adalah turbin air Cross-Flow untuk head rendah. Turbin beroperasi pada tekanan impuls, dimana energi potensial air diubah menjadi energi kinetik melalui nozel untuk mendorong sudu-sudu depan turbin. Turbin jenis ini memiliki umur pakai yang tahan lama, murah investasinya, murah biaya operasinya, mudah dibongkar pasang, tidak merusak lingkungan dan bebas limbah. Turbin dirancang berdasarkan data hasil survey lapangan, yaitu;  Head (H)= 1,85 m; Debit air (Q)=0,2  m3/s; Putaran turbin (rencana) (n)= 214 rpm; Efisiensi turbin (rencana )(ηt)= 68%; Massa jenis air (ρ)= 997.8 kg/m3.  Dari hasil perhitungan, didapat spesifikasi rancangan turbin Cross-Flow sebagai berikut : Tinggi air jatuh (H) = 1,85 m; Debit air (Q) = 0,2 m3/s; Efisiensi turbin (rencana) (ηt) = 68%; Daya (N) = 2,497 kW; Putaran (n) =214 rpm; Kecepatan spesifik (ns) = 770,4138831 rpm; Diameter sudu jalan (DL) = 0,40 m; Diameter naff (Dn) = 0,035 m; Lebar sudu pengarah (B) = 0,032 m; Jumlah sudu jalan = 26 buah.

Abstract

To meet the electricity needs at night and the production of agricultural products in Kp. Mulyasari was designed and built a Micro Hydro Power Plant (PLTMH) Turbine which can produce power up to 2,500 Watt. This machine is designed to be easy to install, easy to operate, inexpensive to maintain. The selected turbine type is a Cross-Flow air turbine for a low head. Turbines operate at impulse pressure, where the potential energy of water is converted into kinetic energy through the nozzles to push the turbine's front blades. In the design of this turbine, it is designed, so that it has a long life span, low investment value, minimal maintenance costs, easy installation costs, and is driven by water, thereby conserving natural resources. The turbine is designed based on data from field survey results in Kp. Mulyasari, with results; Head (H) = 1.85 m; Water discharge (Q) = 0.2 m3 / s; Turbine rotation (planned) (n) = 214 rpm; Turbine efficiency (plan) (ηt) = 68%; Density of water (ρ) = 997.8 kg / m3. From the calculation results, obtained the Cross-Flow turbine design specifications as follows: High waterfall (H) = 1.85 m; Water discharge (Q) = 0.2 m3 / s; Turbine efficiency (plan) (ηt) = 68%; Power (N) = 2,497 kW; Rotation (n) = 214 rpm; Specific speed (ns) = 770,4138831 rpm; Road blade diameter (DL) = 0.40 m; Naaf diameter (Dn) = 0.035 m; Steering blade width (B) = 0.032 m; Number of road blades = 26 pieces.

Abstract

Water pump adalah pompa sentrifugal yang tugasnya mensirkulasikan air ke dalam sistem pendingin pada engine.Dari data problem komponen di tahun 2020 pada Workshop Plant Rebuild Center PT X,sering terjadi kebocoran seal air pada water pump engine type SAA6D170E-5 sebanyak tujuh kali. Oleh karena itu,tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mencari penyebab terjadinya kebocoran pada seal air di water pump untuk dilakukan perbaikan agar tidak terjadi kerusakan lagi pada komponen water pump. Dengan menggunakan metode alir,dapat menganalisis kerusakan water pump. Dari hasil analisis tersebut untuk mendapatkan beberapa temuan penyebab sering terjadinya kebocoran pada water seal yaitu adanya partikel debu yang masuk ke permukaan water seal,pemasangan bearing shaft yang belum standar,dan metode pemasangan water seal yang salah. Setelah itu dilakukan perbaikan proses assembly,dari penambahan hose transparan di lubang indikator,mengganti alat pemasangan bearing dan mengganti pelumas water seal dari oil ke sabun.Setelah dilakukan perbaikan,dapat di evaluasi kualitas dari komponen water pump dari data problem engine type SAA6D170E-5 di bulan mei sampai bulan September tahun 2021 bahwa komponen water pump tidak terjadi kerusakan.Sehingga dengan perbaikan proses assembly komponen water pump pada engine type SAA6D170E-5 dan di tuangkan pada prosedur INK (Intruksi Kerja) yang sesuai dengan shopmanual yang terbaru menjadikan hasil kinerja dari komponen water pump menjadi baik dan berkualitas sangat tinggi
