Abstract

Work and human needs are very dependent on the presence of electrical energy, especially for household needs. Human negligence in using electrical energy will lead to wasteful use of electrical energy which causes payments to soar among households. Research was conducted to examine the application of monitoring the electrical power used by the device remotely via an internet connection. The system can be implemented using a NodeMCU ESP32, PZEM-004T sensor, 16x2 LCD, and the Telegram application as the system user interface on a smartphone. To be able to monitor via the Telegram application the user must be connected to the internet and the microcontroller must be connected to the internet network. This system using the internet network will make it easier to monitor the electrical power of electronic devices in the home every day. The result of this research is that an Internet of Things-based home electrical power monitoring system using the Telegram application can help and make it easier for home owners to monitor electrical power when the home owner is not at home.

Abstract

Rice (Oryza sativa L.) is a crucial staple food, particularly in Indonesia, one of the largest rice-producing countries. Proper storage of rice grains is essential to maintain their quality and quantity. This research aims to develop a smart rice grain storage prototype based on the Internet of Things (IoT) that can monitor temperature, humidity, and light intensity in real-time. The method used is Design-Based Research (DBR), involving six stages: focus, understanding, definition, conception, creation, and testing. The prototype utilizes DHT22 sensors for temperature and humidity, LDR sensors for light intensity, and soil moisture sensors, all integrated with an ESP32 microcontroller. Data collected from the sensors are sent to a cloud-based platform for analysis and early warnings if storage conditions are unsuitable. The results indicate that the prototype effectively monitors storage conditions and provides accurate data. System testing shows that all components function according to specifications. This prototype helps maintain grain quality and reduce damage risk during storage. The use of IoT in grain storage enhances efficiency and reduces farmers' costs. Future research should focus on developing more advanced prototypes with automatic control features and mobile application integration.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a household water quality monitoring system using the Internet of Things (IoT) by monitoring water quality parameters such as pH, Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), turbidity, and temperature in real time. The prototyping method in the development of this system allows continuous interaction between developers and users to meet the needs of the system. Data is collected through literature studies and observations to support system development. The results of this study are that every 1 minute, the sensor data is sent to the server, and then the sensor data will be displayed on the web platform; if the sensor data value is not at the predetermined value limit according to Permenkes number 2 of 2023, the displayed value will be red. The data collected by the sensor is sent to the server built with Node.js and stored in the PostgreSQL database. The monitoring results will also be displayed on a 20x4 I2C LCD. The system successfully monitors water quality parameters in real time, with results displayed on a web platform that is easily accessible to users. The implementation of IoT technology in this system provides an innovative solution for increasing public awareness of the importance of clean water quality. With this system, it is expected to create a healthier and safer household environment for families.

Abstract

The current digital era allows people to consult about health digitally, with applications such as Halodoc which are widely used for health consultations and purchasing medicines. This research aims to measure the accuracy of reviews and evaluate the performance of the Naïve Bayes algorithm in the sentiment analysis classification of users of the Halodoc application. The Naïve Bayes algorithm is applied to identify user sentiment which is divided into three categories: positive, negative and neutral. The analysis results show that with a train-test split of 10%, the application has a positive sentiment level of 94%, negative 63%, neutral 0%, and accuracy 85%. With a train-test split of 20%, the results were 93% positive, 69% negative, 13% neutral, and 86% accuracy. Meanwhile, with a train-test split of 30%, the results were positive 92%, negative 66%, neutral 0.9%, and accuracy 84%. This research provides new knowledge about the effectiveness of the Naïve Bayes algorithm in sentiment analysis in health applications, as well as revealing the level of user satisfaction with the Halodoc application.

Abstract

Positioning in football is a factor that must be considered, because a game can run according to the tactics that have been made by the coach if the player's position is in accordance with his abilities and character.But in determining the position of the player requires sharp instincts and structured training so that the ideal position for each player is found. This research aims to provide assistance to coaches to determine the ideal position of players by creating asystem that can strengthen decisions and increase confidence in placing players in certain positions. This system uses the Profile Matching method, which uses the ideal value for each criterion and also the individual value of each player as a comparison.This research produces a system that shows the ideal position of the player with test results from 15 players resulting in a percentage of 80% match between the initial position and the recommended position.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi Internet of Things (IoT) telah mengubah cara kita berinteraksi dengan lingkungan, termasuk pengendalian jarak jauh. Saat ini, Yayasan Gunung Wayang Manunggal sedang menghadapi permasalahan dalam pengendalian jarak jauh mereka, yang meliputi pengendalian lampu dan kunci pintu ruangan bimbel (door lock). Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan merancang sistem pengendalian lampu dan door lock jarak jauh mengunakan HP guna meningkatkan efisiensi kontrol di Yayasan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Waterfall karena sistem yang dihasilkan akan sesuai dengan kebutuhan admin yayasan. Setelah dilakukan pengujian, hasil dari 10 kali pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem berhasil mengontrol semua alat tanpa ada eror, dengan tingkat akurasi 100%. Analisis mencakup dua kebutuhan, pertama admin harus dapat mengontrol lampu dan pintu (door lock) yang ada di Yayasan dari jarak jauh menggunakan aplikasi Telegram, dan kedua admin harus dapat memantau kondisi lampu dan pintu. Fitur ini memungkinkan pengendalian dan pemantauan tanpa harus hadir di yayasan. Sistem ini mempermudah admin mengontrol lampu dan pintu dari jarak jauh menggunakan HP, sehingga lebih efisien dan mudah dioperasikan. Respon positif dari admin dan peminjam ruangan menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini sangat membantu dan mempercepat akses ke fasilitas yayasan

Abstract

In today's digital era, information technology automation plays a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency across various sectors, including education and industry. This article discusses the design and development of an attendance system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) utilizing Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology. The system is designed to replace manual attendance methods, which are often time-consuming and prone to human error. The proposed system consists of RFID hardware connected to an IoT network to collect attendance data in real-time. The data is then sent to a server via the internet and can be accessed through a website. This system enables instant attendance monitoring and automatic reporting with greater accuracy and efficiency. Testing results show that the RFID and IoT-based attendance system can improve the accuracy and speed of attendance recording. Therefore, the implementation of RFID and IoT technology in this attendance system can significantly contribute to enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of attendance management.

Abstract

The impact of stock prices on new enterprises, notably Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), in Indonesia is significant. Given the significance of stock prices for MSMEs, engaging in stock price forecasting is crucial. Several stock price forecast-ing models exist, but only a limited number are suitable for predicting stock prices using limited samples, such as the stock prices of MSMEs in Indonesia. The limited sample size is because MSMEs are newly established enterprises accessing stock prices. This study aims to predict MSME stock prices in Indonesia, namely SOUL and TGUK. The forecasting model utilized is ARIMA. The results suggest that the ARIMA (0,1,1) model provides the most precise forecast for the stock price of SOUL MSMEs, while the ARIMA (1,1,2) model yields the most outstanding performance for TGUK. Investors can use the forecast results to identify profit-able investment opportunities or protect their portfolios from po-tential losses. Moreover, companies can employ stock price pre-dictions to evaluate their performance, develop financial plans, and allocate resources.

Abstract

Dengan banyaknya kendaraan di jalan, penting untuk memantau lalu lintas agar keamanan dan manajemen lalu lintas dapat terjaga dengan baik. Pengumpulan data jumlah kendaraan secara manual memerlukan banyak sumber daya dan biaya. YOLOv8 (You Only Look Once) adalah teknologi visi komputer yang memungkinkan deteksi objek secara otomatis dengan akurasi dan kecepatan tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengotomatisasi perhitungan jumlah kendaraan yang melintas dengan YOLOv8, yang dapat mendeteksi berbagai jenis kendaraan dalam berbagai kondisi cuaca. Studi ini terdiri dari beberapa tahap, yaitu pengumpulan data, preprocessing, pemodelan, dan evaluasi. Dataset diperoleh dari dataset Kaggle dan rekaman video lalu lintas di Indonesia. Dataset dibagi menjadi data latih dan validasi dan diproses dengan bounding box. Pemodelan menggunakan YOLOv8 Nano dengan 50 epoch, dan evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan confusion matrix. Implementasi dilakukan menggunakan OpenCV untuk menghitung jumlah kendaraan dari rekaman video. Sistem ini berhasil menghitung jumlah kendaraan berdasarkan klasifikasi yang berbeda dengan baik, meski ada kendala saat frame drop. Penelitian ini berhasil mengembangkan sebuah sistem yang akurat dan diuji dengan rekaman CCTV lalu lintas di Surakarta, meskipun klasifikasi jenis kendaraan belum sesuai dengan standar dinas perhubungan dan kualitas frame rate video masih memengaruhi akurasi sistem. Sebaiknya dilakukan pengujian waktu nyata dan penambahan identitas unik pada kendaraan yang dideteksi.

Abstract

Aplikasi Sirekap 2024 adalah sebuah aplikasi baru yang digunakan untuk mencatat dan melaporkan kegiatan dan hasil pemungutan suara pada Pemilihan Umum di Indonesia tahun 2024. Terdapat berbagai pandangan pro dan kontra terkait penggunaan aplikasi ini, sehingga aplikasi ini dipilih sebagai objek penelitian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengklasifikasikan ulasan pengguna ke dalam kategori sentimen positif, negatif, dan netral menggunakan tiga algoritma pembelajaran mesin yang berbeda, serta membandingkan dan menentukan algoritma terbaik. Tiga algoritma yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Naive Bayes, K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN), dan Support Vector Machine (SVM). Metode penelitian mencakup tahap pengumpulan data ulasan, preprocessing data, evaluasi hasil, dan penentuan dan perbandingan metode terbaik. Berdasarkan nilai akurasi, hasilnya adalah Naive Bayes (83%), K-Nearest Neighbors (56%), dan Support Vector Machine (84%). Support Vector Machine (SVM) terbukti menjadi algoritma terbaik dalam analisis ulasan pengguna aplikasi Sirekap 2024 karena memiliki nilai akurasi tertinggi yaitu (84%).
