Abstract

Human capital management is vital in organizations for improving individual performance. Purpose: to analyze the influence of LCI and LCE on employee performance, with Islamic work ethics as a moderating variable. This study employs a quantitative approach, utilizing primary data collected through questionnaires. Sampling was conducted using purposive sampling techniques on 69 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Results: (1) LCI significantly influences employee performance, (2) LCE influences employee performance, (3) Islamic work ethics act as a moderating variable in the relationship between LCI and employee performance, but do not moderate the relationship between LCE and employee performance. Conclusion: Proper management of Islamic work ethics is an important factor in improving employee performance. This is particularly related to how individuals perceive external control (LCE) in the workplace as part of efforts to enhance productivity.

Abstract

One of the main keys to determining the success of an organization in achieving goals is employee work discipline. A high level of work discipline reflects the employee's commitment and responsibility to the existing regulations. However, many employees have proven to be less than optimal in implementing employee discipline rules. There are many factors that can affect the lack of work discipline among employees. This study aims to determine the influence of Leadership and Supervision on Work Discipline with Commitment as an intervening variable in employees of the Grobogan Regency Disperindag, with a population of 57 ASN employees, sampling 55 ASN (PNS and PPPK) using the census method. The data collection method in this study uses a questionnaire and a data collection scale with a Likert scale. The analysis technique used in this study employs SEM (Structural Equation Model) with the Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis technique operated using the help of SmartPLS software version 3.0. The results of the study show that Leadership has a positive and significant effect on Commitment; Supervision has a positive and significant effect on Commitment; Commitment has a positive and significant effect on Work Discipline; Leadership does not have a significant effect on Work Discipline; and Supervision does not have a significant effect on Work Discipline. In addition, Leadership has a positive effect on Work Discipline through Commitment, and Supervision has a significant effect on Work Discipline through Commitment.

Abstract

This regional community service program seeks to empower Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Semarang sub-districts of Meteseh and Tembalang by integrating clean energy solutions and smart technology. Meteseh faces significant challenges with plastic waste management, while Tembalang struggles with maintaining a stable energy supply for its MSMEs. To address these issues, the project introduced a solar-powered smart plastic waste shredding machine in Meteseh and a solar panel monitoring system in Tembalang. The shredding machine reduced unmanaged plastic waste by approximately 65%, enabling the processing of up to 15 kg of plastic per hour, while promoting recycling and environmental sustainability. In Tembalang, the solar energy system increased the operational hours of MSMEs’ craft production by 6–8 hours per day, resulting in a 100% increase in production capacity and a 30% reduction in operational energy costs. These initiatives have enhanced MSMEs’ productivity, sustainability, and resilience while fostering socio-cultural transformation and green economic awareness within the communities. The program demonstrates the measurable and transformative potential of clean energy and smart technology in regional development, offering a scalable and replicable model for sustainable economic growth across Indonesia and beyond.
