Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah melihat proses berpikir kritis mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah trigonometri, metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa pendidikan matematika semester satu tahun ajaran 2019/2020 FKIP Univeritas Muhammadiyah Tangerang, sampel yang digunakan adalah kelas 1A1 yang berjumlah 25 orang. Untuk mengukur Tingkat Berpikir (TB) Intrumen yang digunakan adalah soal tes dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah dari 25 orang sampel didapat  TB-0: 47%, atau 12 Orang TB-1: 28% (7 orang), TB-1: 14% (3 orang), dan TB-2:11% (3 orang).  Berdsarkan hasil diatas dapat simpulkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa semester awal masih rendah. Untuk itu diharapkan pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan serta bahan ajar yang digunakan dapat mengembangkan berpikir kritis.

Abstract

Pendidikan memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam masyarakat. Melalui pendidikan, individu memiliki kesempatan untuk memperoleh pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan nilai-nilai yang diperlukan untuk menghadapi tantangan kehidupan. Ilmu pengetahuan alam adalah cabang ilmu yang membahas tentang pengetahuan yang berkaitan dengan alam dan fenomena-fenomena yang terjadi di dalamnya. Prodi Tadris Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam merupakan prodi tergolong baru, dimana SK berdirinya pada Tahun 2020. Oleh karena itu, peneliti melakukan penelitian dengan memprediksi jumlah mahasiswa Tadris IPA IAIN Kediri. Hasil persamaan logistik  yang merupakan bentuk dari Persamaan Bernoulli menunjukkan kenaikan jumlah mahasiswa baru setiap tahunnya. Pada tahun 2020 , 2021, 2022, dan 2023 menunjukkan jumlah mahasiswa baru sebanyak 23, 48, 54, dan 62 mahasiswa. Seiring berkembangnya tahun, berkembang pula jumlah mahasiswa baru. Dengan perkembengan jumlah mahasiswa tentunya kebijakan institusi tentang layanan akademik, sarana prasarana dan lainnya juga dipenuhui dengan baik sesuai kebutuhan mahasiswa. Hal ini juga nantinya akan mendukung dalam visi keilmua prodi, yang targetnya di tahun 2030 nanti akan menjadi prodi yang unggul dalam pengembangan Pendidikan SAINS berbasis teknologi informasi dan pencetak tenaga pendidik IPA yang berkarakter islami pada tahun 2030. Education has a very important role in society. Through education, individuals have the opportunity to acquire the knowledge, skills, and values necessary to face life's challenges. Natural science is a branch of science that discusses knowledge related to nature and the phenomena that occur in it. The Natural Sciences Education Study Program is a relatively new study program, where the Decree was established in 2020. Therefore, researchers conducted research by predicting the number of Natural Sciences Education students at IAIN Kediri. The results of the logistic equation which is a form of the Bernoulli equation show an increase in the number of new students every year. In 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023, the number of new students is 23, 48, 54, and 62. As the years progress, the number of new students also grows. With the increase in the number of students, of course institutional policies regarding academic services, infrastructure and other things are also well met according to student needs. This will also support the scientific vision of the study program, whose target is that in 2030 it will become a superior study program in developing information technology-based SCIENCE education and producing science educators with Islamic character by 2030.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran matematika berbasis RPG (Role Play game). Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Dharma Siswa Tangerang yang berjumlah 71 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan yang digunakan angket, lembar validasi, dokumentasi, wawancara dan tes pilihan ganda 20 soal. Hasil validasi ahli media dan materi masing-masing memperoleh nilai rata-rata total sebesar 4,62 dengan kriteria “Sangat Baik”. Sedangkan hasil validasi ahli pendidikan diperoleh nilai rata-rata total sebesar 4,12 dengan kriteria “baik”. Sedangkan hasil kepraktisan pada uji coba terbatas diperoleh nilai rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 3,22 dan 3,19 dengan kriteria sangat baik. Untuk hasil uji efektifitas diperoleh hasil 81% siswa pada kategori tuntas. Dari hasil penelitian maka media pembelajaran berbasis RPG valid, praktis dan efektif.

Abstract

With the use of the RME-based iSpring suite, this project creates interactive teaching resources to enhance students' capacity for creative thought. Students' low capacity for creative thought, low levels of desire, low levels of activity, and low levels of involvement in the learning process are the field's problems. In order to address these issues, interactive instructional resources were created. With the help of RME-based ispring suites, interactive teaching materials will be created that are valid, useful in the educational process, and will enhance students' capacity for creative thought. 4D (define, design, development, disseminate) is the development model that is employed. Pretest-poste instruments, student response questionnaires, and validation sheets are used in data gathering procedures. Analysis methods include the paired sample t-test, validity test, and practicality test, n-gain test. With a score of 3.41, the validity test results indicate that the product is already in the legitimate category. According to the analysis of the practicality test results, the produced product already has a score of 3.43, placing it in the extremely practical category. It is established by the paired sample t-test that capacity differences exist between pre- and post-use of interactive training resources. Moreover, improving pupils' capacity for creative thought is known to fall into the effective group based on the results of the n-gain test. Abstract

The research on artificial intelligence in mathematics education has attracted much attention from researchers since the last decade. This study aims to provide holistic information about artificial intelligence in mathematics education research using bibliometric analysis. Data for the analysis were extracted from the Scopus database from 1986 – 2023. The analysis, conducted using R-packages (Bibliometrix) and VOSviewer software, identifies the relevant nations, affiliations, journals, articles, and keywords on artificial intelligence in mathematics education research. The study reveals that 565 documents have been published in 354 journals, with an average annual growth rate of 11.27%. These documents, on average, have received 14.61 citations each. The research field has engaged a total of 1,847 authors, with an average of 3.26 authors contributing to each document. Additionally, 17.17% of these publications involved international co-authorship, indicating a moderate level of global collaboration. Our findings reveal a growing interest in using artificial intelligence as an educational tools and methods, particularly in the United States and China, which lead in publication output and citations. The analysis also reveals emerging trends and research gaps. The keywords such as "virtual reality," "sustainable development," and "COVID-19" reflect recent research focus on artificial intelligence in mathematics education research. Meanwhile, the keywords such as "mathematical literacy," “assessment,” and "gamification" identified as underexplored areas, suggesting potential opportunities for future research on artificial intelligence in mathematics education research.

Abstract

Penalaran matematis merupakan salah satu tujuan penting dalam pembelajaran matematika, untuk mengembangkan penalaran matematis siswa diperlukan suatu bahan ajar yang dapat mendukung siswa dalam pembelajaran agar kemampuan penalaran matematis dapat berkembang secara maksimal, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan suatu bahan ajar yang berbasis kemampuan penalaran matematis dengan menggunakan software komputer yaitu macromedia flash, metode penelitian yang akan digunakan disini adalah model pengembangan 4D (Define, Design, Development, Disseminate), dalam rencana awal uji coba produk dilakukan dalam skala kecil yaitu dilaksanakan uji efektifitas di beberapa sekolah, penelitian ini sudah sampai di tahap Define yaitu pada langkah rancangan awal (Initial Design), pada penelitian ini akan dilanjutkan sampai tahap akhir yaitu Disseminate

Abstract

The need for learning tools that can be mastered by prospective teacher students in the School Field Experience Program (PLP) 2 requires fifth-semester students to develop the ability to design appropriate and effective learning materials. Mathematics textbooks are among the essential tools that must be created for PLP 2, making it necessary to guide students in writing textbooks through a dedicated course. This has led to an innovation in creative writing skills for mathematics textbooks using the design thinking method, which consists of five stages: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. The results of this research include the physical development of school mathematics textbooks for middle and high school levels. Testing of the resulting products has placed them in the "very good" category, indicating their suitability for use as learning materials to support PLP 2 activities.

Abstract

This community-based service initiative explores an educational and environmental intervention conducted in Alas Gede, Ngingit Village, Tumpang District, Indonesia, focusing on the transformation of plastic waste into ecobricks by elementary school students. As plastic pollution escalates into a critical global environmental challenge, this program presents an integrative solution by combining environmental education with practical waste management skills. Ecobricks—plastic bottles densely packed with clean, non-organic waste—serve as a low-cost, scalable, and ecologically responsible alternative for repurposing plastic waste into usable construction materials. The uniqueness of this initiative lies in its pedagogical approach that merges hands-on learning, environmental awareness, and community empowerment at the grassroots level. The program not only enhances students’ cognitive and behavioral competencies regarding recycling practices but also strengthens collective environmental stewardship within the village. This article delineates the step-by-step implementation of the program, identifies operational challenges, and evaluates its multi-dimensional impacts on both the educational environment and the broader community. Findings suggest that integrating ecobrick production into school-based environmental curricula fosters sustainable behavior, promotes participatory waste management, and has potential for replication in other rural contexts facing similar ecological issues
