Abstract

Assubkiyah Islamic boarding school in Nagrak Village, Bandung Regency, is an Islamic educational institution that accepts many new students. As a traditional Islamic educational institution, this school has contributed a lot in creating a new generation with noble morality.  In accordance with the times and for information and promotion purposes, this school has had a website before, so its remote location is not a problem. However, due to lack of management skills, website knowledge and funding, the website is neglected and not updated. This can lead to misinformation for people who need information about the program and activities of school, it can also have an impact on decreasing the number of prospective students.  Based on that situation, a team from the Faculty of Creative Industries, Telkom University, took the initiative to design an information website regarding the Assubkiyah Islamic Boarding School, along with its management training for the staff and students. Hopefully, that after this program takes place, the website can be optimized into a medium that makes it easier for the public and prospective students to get information about education organized by the Assubkiyah Islamic Boarding School.

Abstract

Saluran seniman untuk mempublikasikan karyanya pada sekarang ini sangat beragam, dari mulai ruang galeri, media sosial, pameran kolaborasi hingga produk derivatif yang kerap berkolaborasi dengan merk tertentu. Media derivatif ini adalah hasil kerja sama antara seniman dan merk tertentu yang menghasilkan produk yang terjangkau oleh masyarakat luas. Ini merupakan salah satu strategi publikasi seorang seniman sekaligus strategi pemasaran sebuah merk. Uniqlo sudah memulai kolaborasi dengan seniman-seniman besar lainnya, seperti Basquiat, Keith Harring, dan Sol Lewitt. Untuk cakupan seniman Indonesia, uniqlo sudah berkolaborasi dengan Yellow Dino. Tentu ada kecenderungan visual tertentu pada media derivatif. Dengan menitik beratkan studi dan analisis terhadap pembacaan karya pada media derivatif, penulis berharap melihat kecendenrungan karya yang diimpelementasikan pada media kolaborasi. Penelitian ini juga diharapkan menjadi acuan untuk usaha sejenis atau seniman dalam membuat sebuah produk atau objek seni. Kata Kunci : media derivatif, semiotika, Kaws, Uniqlo

Abstract

The form of classical Balinese puppets through its long history, starting from primitive times, ancient Balinese, Balinese Hinduism, and colonialism until now. As a work of art of ancestral heritage with its various forms and developments, many Balinese people do not know the history of the puppet origins that became 'pakem' in its traditional art. To find out the traces of the classical puppets of Bali have similarities form with the depiction of puppets figures that exist in the temples of Central Java and East Java. The art crossed to Bali through the conquest of Bali during the Majapahit colonialism. This research uses historical method through heuristic stages, criticism, interpretation, and historiography, to be able to describe historically the origin of classical Balinese puppets as well as analysis matrix comparison to see the similarities and differences of Balinese puppets visual that exist in the temple the studies reliefs in the two areas. This research gives an idea that wayang art in Bali comes from Java which its early formation has been started since the time of Singosari kingdom and as a form of traditional artwork which is close to society which requirement of moral and spiritual value.

Abstract

Professional competency improvement for management at Pasraman Widya Dharma in Bandung is very important in this era of globalization. There is a need for partnership with a higher education institution to run an empowerment program in a form of training in using internet website. Website is an easily accessible information media which is suitable to publish information in informal education institutions such as Pasraman. The empowerment is intended to improve the professional competence of staffs and administrators who provide services at institutional facilities within the Bandung Hindu community. The empowerment was implemented using Service Learning method in order to optimize the potential of the community partnership with a focus on training and assistance related to improving the professional competency of the administrators and managers of the Widya Dharma Pasraman Bandung. The professional competency of the managers was observed to be improved significantly based on the result of the training program. This leads to a conclusion that the program is potential to be carried out in continual basis.

Abstract

Sign system is a media information that help people to find their way or destination in an environment. Good sign system can be understood by viewer through the information and visualization indeed. Some of public location that craves sign system is a railway station. However as a high accessibility place, actually railway station has many activities in there, like to buy tickets, waiting for the train, obtaining information operational and others. All of that are needed sign system. Kiaracondong Railway Station as one of well known stations in West Java that had plenty visitors. But, the media information like sign system in there is not yet enough to fulfill the visitors requirement, such as some of them are broken, unsupported materials, the visibility and letter size are not standard measure, and minimum quantity sign system.For more clearly this case, it will be required to aggregation and review the data. Actually, the methods that to be used such as directly observation to station area, collecting theoretical data, share some questionnaire to visitors, make an interview to officers, comparing with several similar projects, and matrix analysis.So based on the situation and data management, we need to redesign the sign system with good integration in Kiaracondong Railway Station for help visitors in railway station to acquire their needs like informations and navigations. In other goal, the redesign sign system can be increase the image of PT KAI in business transportation.

Abstract

Saung Ciburial merupakan ikon dari kegiatan desa wisata yang dikembangkan di Desa Sukalaksana Kecamatan Samarang Kabupaten Garut. Pada dasarnya kegiatan desa wisata ini merupakan sebuah kegiatan pariwisata yang melibatkan berbagai aset serta potensi desa yang berupa kekayaan panorama alam, sosial budaya, ekonomi, dan karakteristik masyarakatnya. Perpaduan yang terintegrasi dengan baik sebagai kekuatan yang saling menunjang. Adapun permasalahan yang kemudian muncul di kawasan tersebut adalah keterbatasan pengetahuan media promosi dan strategi visual periklanannya. Hal ini penting mengingat kawasan sebagai lokasi wisata minat khusus ini telah memiliki kegiatan baik, seperti Festival Saung Budaya Ciburial. Sehingga diperlukan studi yang membahas mengenai efisiensi media yang pernah digunakan. Penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan kekuatan observasi langsung ke lokasi, wawancara, dan pengunaan literatur yang relevan dengan objek penelitian. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan rekomendasi yang dapat bermanfaat bagi pengelola wisata Saung Ciburial dan pemerintah daerah untuk menentukan strategi visual dan strategi media dengan harapan mendapatkan masukan positif terhadap kunjungan wisatawan. Kata kunci: Promosi Desa Wisata, Saung Ciburial, Strategi Komunikasi Visual.

Abstract

Woven textiles, a vital aspect of Indonesia's cultural heritage, greatly influence the Nusantara archipelago's identity. Majalaya in West Java, known as the "Dollar City," has been a flourishing center for weaving since 1920, notably contributing to the production of woven sarongs, meeting 47% of national demand. In this textile-rich region, Namicalung Village has earned its place in history as a center for sarong weaving, notably recognized for its "poleng" motif. Namicalung's residents aspire to establish the village as a legendary sarong-weaving tourist destination in Majalaya, complying with Provincial Regulation Number 7 of 2020. In pursuing this development, Namicalung must meet specific standards regarding accessibility, amenities, attractions, and institutionalization. A "tourism village" blends attractions, accommodations, and supporting facilities, respecting local traditions and practices. This study aims to conduct a comprehensive feasibility analysis to provide practical guidance for Namicalung's development as a sarong-weaving tourism destination. The research methodology employs an analytical approach to assess various aspects, including tourism potential, infrastructure, economic impacts, and visitor experiences. The outcomes of this research hold significant value in evaluating the overall feasibility of transforming Namicalung Village into a Sarong Weaving Tourism Destination in Majalaya that can assist the local community and stakeholders in taking relevant steps toward the development of an attractive and sustainable tourism destination.

Abstract

The populationoftwo-wheeledand four-wheeled vehicles in Indonesia willreach more than 141 million units in 2021, encouraging the growth of the car wash industry. The challenge of customer queues in small areas was highlighted, sparking the idea of a technology-based solution. Through a design thinking approach,awebappfororderingcarwashinformationwasdesignedtoovercome the problem of limited land area and insufficient human resources. Using Figma indesigning userinterfaces (UI) prioritizes harmonious layout elements,contrast, and clear typography.Prototype testing is carried out to ensure the solution meets user needs. The literature review includes Design Thinking, User Interface (UI), User Experience (UX), User Flow, Figma, and Usability Testing. It is hoped that implementing this WebApp can increase car wash operational efficiency,reduce customer queues, and provide a better customer experience.

Abstract

Indonesia memiliki banyak bahasa daerah, termasuk bahasa Bali. Namun, bahasa Bali mulai ditinggalkan oleh generasi muda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat aplikasi pembelajaran bahasa Bali yang menarik dan mudah digunakan oleh generasi muda. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengembangan aplikasi dengan fitur interaktif dan menggunakan elemen gamifikasi. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, kuesioner, dan wawancara dengan generasi muda Bali serta ahli bahasa Bali dan ahli UI/UX. Data yang diperoleh kemudian diolah menggunakan analisis matriks perbandingan untuk mengidentifikasi pola dan tren yang relevan. Aplikasi ini dapat meningkatkan minat dan pemahaman generasi muda terhadap bahasa Bali. Aplikasi ini memiliki fitur seperti permainan edukatif, kuis, dan materi pembelajaran dalam bentuk audio-visual. Aplikasi pembelajaran bahasa Bali yang interaktif dan multimedia sangat efektif dalam mengatasi penurunan penggunaan bahasa Bali di kalangan generasi muda. Penggunaan elemen gamifikasi dalam aplikasi ini dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar. Penelitian ini membantu upaya pelestarian bahasa dan budaya Bali serta memberikan saran untuk pengembangan aplikasi pembelajaran bahasa daerah lainnya. Kata kunci: Bahasa Bali, Aplikasi Pembelajaran, Gamifikasi, Pelestarian Bahasa, Multimedia Interaktif.
