Abstract

This research aims to reinforce this explanation and ensure that public understanding remains aligned with the principles of Islam. The term dekengane pusat was first introduced by Gus Iqdam, a young preacher from Blitar, who emphasised that those who perform Sunnah prayers and draw closer to Allah will be protected by Him. This concept aligns with the hadith narrated by al-Bukhari no. 6502, which discusses the saints of Allah (awliya’). The hadith highlights the spiritual connection between believers and their Creator through acts of worship. The study employs a literature-based approach, examining primary references such as al-kutub al-tis’ah (the nine canonical hadith collections), as well as secondary sources, including books and academic articles. Using Fazlur Rahman's double movement hermeneutical method, this research provides an in-depth analysis of the hadith from al-Bukhari no. 6502. The methodology consists of two stages: first, understanding the hadith in its original context, and second, applying the general principles derived from this analysis to contemporary contexts to ensure the continued relevance of the hadith. The findings illustrate that this hadith, classified as hadith qudsi, is based on Allah’s direct communication to the Prophet Muhammad (SAW), emphasising the relationship between Allah’s beloved individuals and His guarantee oh protection. Contextually, the viral term dikencani pusat serves as a reminder for a society that closeness to Allah is the core of worship, regardless of one’s social status.

Abstract

This article is an interpretive study of Istikharah prayer taught by Rasulullah saw. as mentioned in several traditions of the Hadith. Through the content analysis method, the writer tries to analyze the meaning of the prayer analytically. From this analysis, information is obtained that there needs to be a shift in the understanding of the Istikharah concept which is generally understood as a form of 'questioning' to God about which is the best from the choices available. The intended shift - without judging the wrong of existing understanding - is towards understanding that Istikharah is the activation process of resignation. Inside is istikhÄr, istiqdÄr and istifá¸Äl. IstikhÄr is a request to be chosen the best based on Allah's Knowledge, departing from the realization that He is Omniscient while we do not know. IstiqdÄr is a request to be destined the best based on the power of God because He is the Almighty while we are not powerful. Istifá¸Äl is a request for great grace. The next process is taukÄ«l al-amr (assignment of affairs) to Allah. If good, please be destined, facilitated, and blessed. If it is bad, please turn away, destined the best, and be pleased with His destiny. The understanding will lead to the conclusion that the best answer from Istikharah is ḥusn al-dhann (good prejudice) to Allah and the pleasure of His qaá¸Ä -qadar.

Abstract

The research reveals that the Ancak tradition in Wedoroklurak Village, Candi Sidoarjo, consists of a series of activities aimed at purifying the village in preparation for the upcoming month of Ramadan. Rooted in an understanding of Quranic values, particularly those concerning charity (sedekah) and gratitude (syukur) as outlined in QS. Ibrahim [14]: 7, QS. Luqman [21]: 12, QS. al-Baqarah [2]: 264 and 267, the tradition also embodies the living Quran. Analyzing it through Peter L. Berger's Social Construction perspective, the dialectical interplay of verses within the tradition unfolds in three phases. Firstly, Externalization involves the dialogue between religious figures' ideas about comprehending verses on gratitude and charity with societal elements. Gratitude is construed as an expression of appreciation for Allah's blessings and the village's founding predecessors, expressed through charitable acts and communal prayers. Secondly, Objectivation sees the acceptance of these ideas by the community, institutionalizing them into a collective activity. Community members converge at Mbah Nursinah's tomb, the village's founder, bringing offerings like rice, dishes, fruits, and agricultural products, contributing to communal prayers for the village's founders. Thirdly, Internalization transforms the activity into an integral aspect of community life. Transmitted across generations, this internalization process signifies a robust social construction, where the norms and values of the Ancak tradition become inseparable from the identity and daily life of Wedoroklurak Village's residents.

Abstract

The Qur'an is a holy book with beautiful Arabic language, a unique structure, and profound meaning. One form of this beauty is the use of parables (tashbīh) as a means of conveying moral, religious, and legal messages. This style of language not only clarifies meaning but also has a psychological and emotional impact on readers. One of the verses that contains tashbīh is QS. al-Kahf [18]: 45, which describes the transience of the world through the analogy of rainwater that nourishes plants, then dries up and disappears, blown away by the wind. This study combines balāghah analysis, specifically the form tashbīh, with ethical thematic interpretation to pace the parable in this versi as a source of moral values relevant to the modern era. Using the library research method with a descriptive-analytical approach, this study processed primer data in the form of QS. al-Kahf [18]: 45 and secondary data from various classical and contemporary tafsir books. The results showed that tashbīh. This indicates that the world is temporary, constantly changing, a place of trial, and can be beneficial if managed wisely. The moral values contained therein include maintaining balance in life, simplicity, awareness of responsibility, and vigilance against the glamour of the world. These findings confirm the novelty of research in linking Qur'anic rhetoric analysis based on tashbīh with ethical readings that are applicable to spiritual and social life.

Abstract

This article is a reinterpretation of the meaning of Hadith with the interconnection-integration paradigm, focused on the study of the Hadith about women's reason and religion through psychological approach. In the Hadith, Rasulullah stated that most of the inhabitants of hell are women, their minds are less (na>qis}a>t 'aql), their religion is also less (na>qis}a>t di>n). Textually, the word looks nuanced in gender discrimination. It seems to mean that women's intelligence is not as good as men's intelligence, neither religion nor faith-women are not as good as male religion. Therefore, it is understandable if the feminists call the element of misogyny in it. However, if examined contextually, based on the search asba>b al-wuru>d, the psychological study of women's reasoning and the study of the reality of their lives, it will come to the conclusion that there is no misogynous element in it. On the contrary, there are scientific cues that need further study behind the word. Some things that need further study as well as the formulation of the problem of this article is about to the reality of social life of women who attracted the attention of the Prophet, so he had a will to them to say istighfar more, a woman's brain changes with some sense function that distinguishes it from the male brain; including differences in hormonal changes and its adjustment to the menstrual cycle affecting some sense functions and diminish their role in spiritual activity.
