Abstract

MP-ASI yang diberikan kepada anak usia 6-24 diberikan secara bertahap baik jenis, frekuensi pemberian, jumlah porsi dan bentuk makanan yang disesuaikan dengan usia dan kemampuan anak dalam mencerna makanan untuk pemenuhan kebutuhan gizinya. Tujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman berkaitan pembuatan MP-ASI dan manfatnya bagi balita. Penyuluhan dilakukan kepada ibu yang memiliki bayi dan balita yang di lakukan di kelurahan pasuluhan pada 28 Juli 2024. Kegiatan ini dihadiri oleh 35 orang ibu yang sedang hamil dan memiliki bayi/balita serta 10 orang mahasiswa pendamping, kader, dan bidan wilayah setempat. Pre-test, diketahui bahwa 85% dari peserta (25 orang) belum memahami tentang MP-ASI dan cara pemberian yang tepat, serta 15% dari peserta (15 orang) telah memahami dan mempunyai pengetahuan yang cukup mengenai MPASI dan cara pemberian yang tepat. Setelah dilakukan kegiatan penyuluhan, jumlah peserta yang memahami dan mengerti mengenai MPASI dan cara pemberiannya meningkat menjadi 85% (29 orang), sedangkan 15% (6 orang) masih kurang memahami. Pentingnya bagi para ibu untuk memiliki pengetahuan yang cukup terkait dengan pemberian MP-ASI. Ketepatan pemberian MPASI akan menjauhkan anak dari malnutrisi maupun gagal tumbuh pada 1000 hari pertama kelahiran.

Abstract

This research aims to assess the effectiveness of the socialization and implementation of the Child Identity Card (KIA) program in Pasuluhan Village, Walantaka, Serang City. The KIA program, which is based on Minister of Home Affairs Regulation Number 2 of 2016, aims to provide official identity to children aged 0-17 years, as part of population administration efforts and protection of children's rights guaranteed by the constitution. Qualitative data was collected through interviews and observations at the Serang City Population and Civil Registration Service. This research found that KIA is important as additional identity for Birth Certificates and Family Cards. The research results revealed that although MCH is considered important as additional identity besides Birth Certificates and Family Cards, there is criticism regarding its effectiveness because children are already recorded on these documents. Better socialization is considered important to increase public understanding of the benefits and procedures for making KIA. Based on these findings, it is recommended that the KIA program continue to be improved and perfected so that it is more efficient and provides greater benefits for the community.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the welfare of bamboo craftsmen in Pasuluhan Village, Walantaka - Serang City, through the use of e-commerce as an effective marketing tool. In the current digital era, online product marketing has become an important strategy to expand market reach and increase the competitiveness of local products. This activity involves training for craftsmen in operating e-commerce platforms, starting from creating accounts, managing online stores, to digital promotion strategies. Apart from that, intensive assistance is also provided to help craftsmen understand market trends and optimize the use of technology in marketing bamboo craft products. The results of this activity show an increase in the knowledge and skills of craftsmen in utilizing e-commerce, as well as a significant increase in product sales via online platforms. Thus, it is hoped that this activity can contribute to increasing the income and welfare of bamboo craftsmen in Pasuluhan Village in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

Background: In the first year of study, students face academic, social adjustment, campus environmental, and learning system changes that require them to study independently, which can lead to conflicts between students who are still adjusting to their new role and those who must complete nursing tasks. Purpose: This research aims to determine learning independence which is influenced by learning motivation in new students of the Bachelor of Nursing study program. Methods: A total of 120 new students from the class of 2023 were involved in this research. The instruments used are the learning independence scale and the learning motivation scale. The data analysis used is assumption testing, hypothesis testing and difference testing. The results show: 1) based on the assumption test that the research data is proven to be normal and linear. Findings: based on hypothesis testing that there is a positive relationship between learning motivation and learning independence (r = 0.770; p < 0.01), and there is an influence of learning motivation on learning independence of (R² = 0.592; p < 0.01); 3) based on different tests that there are differences in learning independence based on student demographic factors [F= 1.321, p< 0.05]. Conclusion: This study shows that learning motivation helps new students learn independently. Students with high intrinsic and extrinsic motivation gain from learning freedom, and vice versa

Abstract

Sleep quality is an important factor in maintaining physical and mental health. The Korean Wave phenomenon is an activity of watching Korean dramas that increases the curiosity of the audience to always want to watch the continuation of the story in each episode or often called chasing broadcasts so that it can cause a person's sleep quality to be poor. The purpose of this study was to determine the picture of the quality of sleep of students regarding the intensity of watching Korean dramas at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Bina Bangsa University. This research method uses a quantitative descriptive method, with a population of 77 people. The sampling technique used cross-sectional with the distribution of the Sleep Quality Index Questionnaire (PSQI) in the form of Google Form and distributed via Whatsapp. The results showed that the majority of students at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Bina Bangsa University had poor sleep quality, as many as 47 respondents (61.0%), while from the results of this number there were 45 respondents (58.4%) who had a high intensity of watching Korean dramas (watching ≥3 hours per title). The conclusion of this study shows that some of the descriptions of the quality of sleep of FIKes UNIBA students regarding the intensity of watching Korean dramas are poor.

Abstract

Purpose: This research aims to explore the implementation and significance of Ashura commemoration in Nangka Bugang Village, highlighting its role in preserving Islamic traditions and fostering social cohesion within the local community. Method: The study utilized participatory observation and in-depth interviews with community leaders to understand the rituals and social values associated with Ashura in this region. Practical Application: The findings emphasize Ashura’s role in strengthening community bonds. This research can inform efforts to preserve cultural traditions and enhance social unity in similar communities. Conclusion: Ashura commemoration in Nangka Bugang Village is both a spiritual and social event, contributing to cultural preservation and community solidarity. The study provides insights into the importance of religious observances in promoting social cohesion.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus and hypertension are diseases whose prevalence is alwayshigh in Indonesia. This disease occurs in adults and the elderly. The aim of thisservice is to increase the knowledge of Pasuluan residents regardinghypertension and diabetes mellitus, and whether this disease is not treatedproperly, it will cause ongoing complications. The method applied in thissocialization was to gather all Pasuluan residents to come to the KKM Group05 Command Post to take part in the socialization of spot blood sugar checksand blood pressure measurements. The results obtained from this socializationwere 5 people who had diabetes, 1 person at risk of diabetes, and 19 peoplewere normal, for measuring blood pressure there were 8 people who hadhypertension, 6 people at risk of hypertension, and 11 people normal. It ishoped that they will be able to increase knowledge about diabetes mellitus andhypertension

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengevaluasi efektivitas penyuluhan sanitasi dan keamanan pangan terhadap praktik produksi tempe di Desa Sawah Waru, Kabupaten Kuningan. Studi ini menggunakan metode penyebaran kuesioner dan penyuluhan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa sebelum penyuluhan, pengetahuan dan praktik sanitasi serta keamanan pangan pengrajin tempe masih terbatas, berisiko terhadap kontaminasi produk. Setelah penyuluhan, terjadi peningkatan pemahaman dan penerapan prinsip-prinsip dasar Cara Produksi Pangan yang Baik (CPPB-IRT). Meskipun demikian, dibutuhkan pendampingan berkelanjutan untuk memastikan penerapan praktik higienis secara konsisten dan pengembangan UMKM tempe yang berkelanjutan, aman, dan berdaya saing. Kata Kunci : CPPB-IRT, Keamanan Pangan, Penyuluhan, Sanitasi, Tempe.
